Four hours later and this is still going on??

Do you think me and the others came over here and worked 3 days solid to get this forum up to start acting on a whim?

Please credit us with some intelligence.

I was polite enough and considerate to PM you an explanation immediately which you threw into this thread to cause more fire....

We started this forum so people could feel free'er and not worry about forum politics (there are now 7 threads with people whinning and irritated on PA) we don't want the same here.

Let's move on.

We need more people to discuss topics and be proactive and not waste energy second guessing everything....

We are all new to this over here and need your support.

I did not try to start a fire.

My only concern was for free speech and allowing others to question without deleting/editing posts and threads.

Asking questions and voicing opinions is not disruptive.

Calling Misty a smurf and having an agenda was wrong in my eyes.
Where is the proof?
I've encounterd the smurfs before and in my opinion Misty did not fit the profile and was not out of line.

Linda: I certainly can understand your concern after all this PA fallout, but I think there might have been a misunderstanding here, and hopefully it will be be sorted out. It is unfortunate that Misty felt she no longer wanted to be a member. Perhaps when things cool down she will change her mind and return. Let us hope so.

and boy do we need to move on, the chemtrails this morning are OUT bloodyRAGEOUS ,where do we dicsuss that topic?
gonna need a LOT of tinfoil methinks and soon. This is the kind of stuff that really burns me up, literally, not so much the needed venting, but lets not get distracted ,the game is on superhyperoverdrive out there... My guess is all fear of sun "anomolies".
I question whether shenanigans at the madhouse were all about distraction as much as division.

Couldn't agree more.

With regard to the fishers or wives there of. Point then at a thread and tell them to read it. It has the answers if they seek knowledge. If there over here for an arguement don't give them one. Best ignor the bait.

I'm in favour of just letting the place develop naturally. It'll find an identity. Opinions are great, but steering, maybe not so much. Steering along the lines of personal bias was one of the huge problems in Avalon's downfall.

I'd love to see letting the members take this place where their interactions takes it.

I cringe at "we'd like", or "we're supposed to be about...". Who is we in those made up examples. We is the steering committee. Already been some rubbing up against, and not in the nice way over perceived control attempts.

While still smarting from a big ugly one, which proceeds unimpeded.

Thats fine but by allowing them in you are compromising the security of your own computer and all the details stored therein. Do you still want them around??

This last statement is somewhat alarmist and I wish to add a perspective.

On a text based forum such as this, the only security threat represented to the members is by the links (active content) that they click on which are directed to off-site locations and that are found inside peoples posts - or very occasionally within the adverts.
