I know my post came off as all about me and my need, but where I failed miserably was in translating the excitement of the cool spiritual experiences I was having, DESPITE all of the stuff going on around me, and how beautiful it is.

Still, despite burgundia's spiritual warfare (and Susan's manic posting -- I thought I had OCD...good lord woman...reel it in) I rise above.




That and I was just putting word out to the universe that somebody else would need to take my post for a while, in regard to managing the earthquake energies, but since that also was missed, I am exhausted from that.

My apologies to anybody who is offended by me sharing with you that I was tired. I realize that for some, that is crossing a line.

I would have written sooner but I've been too ill. My husband also came down with this bug and is now on antibiotics.

Everyone who is a member is what makes Mists what it is. There are always go to be some people who trigger other people's comfort zone. Such is life. Troy when you first spoke of Greg's deception I didn't understand what was up so without all the info came to a completely different conclusion then after you filled in the gaps. I can't believe Greg was desperate enough to pour gasoline over himself to hide that he had massage oil all over his body. Now if Greg had "his" act together he would have walked in with massage oil and all and say, "Troy, I was weak. What can I say? - I hope you'll forgive me." Instead, he chose to play out the drama king role. That's a bit sad only because it makes you both miserable.

Now if he were to be really clean about it he would hire someone for his massages (I do mine in groups of 5 when I can afford it) and get some self maintenance done. I used to get weekly massages when I worked as my body took on a lot of stress. Also massages release body memory and karma. It's a good thing.

The other element here is that if you two are committed to each other and this is your life path - wear wedding rings. At least it's clear to everyone else (especially the opposite sex) that you are not available.

Now given that this is a new life-style for Greg, I suspect he has some emotional catching up to do as he is bi. It's just the way of it. No judgment - just observation.


Troy - what makes me and you different is that as therapists we have had to learn how to open up our lives, take a deep dive and dredge up the muck and mire for critical analysis and emotional processing. This is something we are comfortable with and don't give much thought to it as it becomes a way of being. We have to learn how to do this so we can be present when dealing with clients who are unburdening themselves. Therapy can be emotionally messy and often is when issues of betrayal are often at the heart of the issue. Most people aren't interested and others are. One prime example of morbid interest is all of the folks addicted to SOAPs on TV where it is just one emotional drama scene after another. Drama happens in real life too.

Others tend to get uncomfortable reading this type of inner processing for a variety of reasons. Add on top of that the alternative life-style and that pushes the comfort zone further. If you are going to use this space to share your feelings then I feel it important that others whose comfort zones are pushed have just as much say as yourself.

Most people don't realize that our emotions create neuropeptides, chemical structure, a thought that the body chemically creates that goes places. The whole body is working at levels that most have no understanding of reality at these other levels.

All I can say laugher works best. In time both you and Greg will hopefully laugh about what an idiot he was. I still can't believe he did what he did to cover up his infedility. Just a statement, "I was weak, what can I say? I'm sorry." would have gone a long way instead of the drama scene.


PS I just went back and read all the other posts before making this one.. sorry that I missed out on yet more details and the input from other members. I may have responded a bit differently and did make some slight changes to reflect that.

I regret what just happened in your reality. You deserve better. But at the same time, maybe what happened was the Universe's way of allowing you to see the truth. Why, because you deserve it. Maybe on other levels, you graduated. Maybe even on this 3D level. Even though you are experiencing the 3D pains from a broken relationship, you are better than this. I am not trying to take away your pain or your joy. It is something that only you can process and the rest of us can only try to comfort you in some way. We all feel your pain as we all have gone through our fair share similar to what you are going through in regards to relationships. I'm not trying to preach either. I just know that we are trying to be supportive of you no matter what or how your pain tries to define it. As with any kind of pain, things get said that others don't deserve either. I'll just leave it at that.

So keep breathing is all I can say. We do support you and I know it is a sad affair when one of this family is hurting. Right now you are the one who is hurting. I just hope you can feel the hugs being sent your way from all of us.

I will try not to be so in people's faces about the gay thing, but again "awake and aware". It's hard not to leave out details of my daily life. I would talk about a pet if I had one.

I call this the Thanksgiving dilemma: everybody who is straight gets asked about their husband or wives. Gay guys do not necessarily get questions like that. People want to talk about your cat, or your car, or some new project...just don't bring up his name. Sit there and listen to our lives of privilege while we dismiss your life, and please do us a courtesy of keeping any pain to yourself, because we do not appreciate hearing about your choices.

I can get plenty of that from people plugged into the Matrix, but here?.............

That was an observation, not a request for counseling around it.

In terms of this being a doctor's office, I may have listed things going on, but with the exception of when it involved the needs of other people (including understanding myself better so that I can help them better), I never asked for help or advice, although I read some of it (to stay with the doctor's office metaphor).

One of the things I've noticed about the men here in Hawaii is that their opening comment is, "Hi man, how is it going? How's you're family?"

They are always asking how others are doing and wanting to catch up. It's a different kind of breed of male here based on an "ohana" upbringing. Meaning the culture is family based and focuses on relationships. So asking about family is important here and it's what we do. Mists is like family. A bit more personal for some and less for others. However, given that we still have members joining on a regular basis they must be finding something here of interest, even if it is a bit of drama. In fact, Mists spun out of the B&K drama and drama does tend to add a bit of spice from time to time.

One other thing about life... it's a mystery. So reading here is like catching glimpses of chapters of different people's lives. I enjoy knowing what's going on and tend to look forward to the next chapter wondering how it will all turn out.

We must learn from the things that give us pain. Most of the time this is why we have chosen them. Our thoughts continue to return to the point with a particular facet of an expectation, or a desire that we do not understand. When someone we care deeply about does not (follow, respect, adhere; choose your poison) along the lines of the way we think (or feel) things should unfold, this can cause us to get "stuck" in a loop. This is doubled so if the desires and expectations of the significant other are in (probably only apparently) conflict or contradiction.

Like the Oracle in The Matrix said: "We cannot see past the choices we do not understand."

This leads to us taking it personally. We see this as a judgement on our character. Our thoughts can fall into tighter and tighter spirals untill we self destruct. But...very often the other person has their own issues and battles they are dealing with. When they find solutions to their problems, situations that can make them happy, if only for a short time...and even if the sources of these things DO NOT COME FROM YOU, it would seem that this should be encouraged....yes?

Is everyone having a good time? Would anyone like more drinks?

Like a recurring dream, a message is trying to be gotten across here. There is something we must learn from the PERCIEVED hurt, or harm.

Additionally, it is very easy to get eaten by the loop; to focus excluively on the hurt. For a short time this is required. But we must focus on the good things we still have.

Are we still together? Is everyone talking, enjoying each others company? Laughing and smiling?

Love is deeper than many of us humans know. The universe loves us unconditionaly, and lets us make our own choices so we can learn them properly. But (he, she , it) will still be there for us when have learned our lesson and been stripped (or shorn, or risen above) the posessions that caused us so much pain.

Forgiving yourself for trying so hard is a start. It's working. Trust me. It's working for all of us. Just sometimes the results get into the undercurrents. Those are the best ones anyways...

Learning to replace the hungry inner spiralling with love, compassion, and understanding is hard. (Sometimes you have to use a hammer!) But at the core of our human beans is love. We just have to learn to accept and forgive ourselves, in the way we are at this moment.

A poor frog can not believe it. Then what it does he creates all kind of theories, teachings in any way to show that the ocean does not exist.

To be a true steward of the planet one must take into consideration all of life including children, families, gardens, the creatures of the sea and earth - the planet itself. Who will be their advocate if not a true steward? An advocate steps up to the plate and represents those who cannot stand up for themselves, the vulnerable, the weak, the disabled, the mute, the blind, the creatures of the earth, the air, the water, the planet. If one holds life as sacred then one respects the gift of god and also all life forms including ETs. ETs can see into the heart and mind of humans and know deception. Nothing can be hidden for the simple reason that they are telepathic.

I think you are misunderstanding something here Troy. First, the forum belongs to the members and I'm only a steward here to assist. I also have a great appreciation for WE and have been hoping he would be more open about himself. He is sharing something here I wrote awhile back to him when we were chatting about being invited by ET to leave Earth prior to it's destruction. I was asked and declined for the reasons listed. I could not possible wish to save myself at the expense of leaving others behind I care about who need me. Which of course included all of the animals. Who would care for them? Meaning as long as they are alive they need a caretaker. Someone to fuss over them, feed them, shelter them and so on.

As for being one of the "chosen ones" - I would WE are all chosen ones, which is why we were drawn to Mists in the first place.

So Troy, if you received an invitation from ET would you go?

By the way. How's greg doing? I hope he apologized and doing a bit of groveling.
