    BUT A BIG ONE IS HEADING FOR VENUS: Yesterday, Sept. 1st, something exploded behind the sun's southeastern limb. The source of the blast was not visible, but it hurled a magnificent CME into space:

    The CME won't hit Earth. Instead, it is heading for Venus. A NASA model predicts it will strike on Sept. 3rd. This will be the third CME hitting Venus in as many days, each one eroding a thin layer of the planet's unprotected cloudtops.

    As seen from Earth, the explosion that produced this CME registered category M5.5. It was probably much stronger. The blast site was eclipsed by the edge of the sun, so the true intensity may have been X-class.

    Today, a complex sunspot is emerging over the sun's southeastern limb. This could be the source of the blast, now turning toward Earth.

    Twenty-two counties in Ohio have been officially designated as primary natural disaster areas by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, due to prolonged drought conditions, allowing farmers to seek emergency loans for recovery efforts.

    This designation was made in response to worsening drought conditions, particularly in the southeastern parts of the state. The affected counties include Athens, Belmont, Fairfield, Fayette, Gallia, Guernsey, Harrison, Highland, Hocking, Jackson, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, Perry, Pickaway, Pike, Ross, Vinton, and Washington.

    The USDA’s decision allows farmers in these counties, as well as those in 18 neighboring counties, to apply for emergency loans. The contiguous eligible counties in Ohio include Adams, Brown, Carroll, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Columbiana, Coshocton, Franklin, Greene, Lawrence, Licking, Meigs, Scioto, Tuscarawas, and Union.

    In addition, West Virginia counties such as Brooke, Cabell, Hancock, Marshall, Mason, Ohio, Pleasants, Tyler, Wetzel, and Wood are also eligible for assistance.

    According to the U.S. Drought Monitor,[i] these counties experienced severe drought (D2) for eight or more consecutive weeks, with some areas facing extreme (D3) or exceptional (D4) drought conditions.     Highland, Pike, and Ross counties are under extreme drought, while Athens and Meigs counties have experienced exceptional drought.

    As of September 3, only 4.57% of the state remains unaffected by dry conditions (classified as “None”). A significant 95.43% of Ohio falls into categories ranging from abnormally dry to exceptional drought (D0-D4). Of particular concern is that 31.49% of the state is now classified under severe drought or worse (D2-D4), and 22.21% is enduring extreme drought (D3-D4). Notably, 7.35% of Ohio is suffering from exceptional drought (D4), the most severe category. These conditions represent a sharp increase in drought intensity from just a week earlier when only 1.32% of the state was under exceptional drought, and 74.70% was experiencing drought conditions overall.

    When compared to the same time last year, Ohio’s drought situation has significantly worsened. On September 5, 2023, 89.20% of the state had no drought, and only 10.80% of the state was classified as abnormally dry or worse. There were no instances of severe, extreme, or exceptional drought at that time.

This zone has a lot of tectonic turbulence and is part of the ring of fire. the plate boundary in this segment has moved away from the San Andreas to the east side due to the direction of the Garlock. It's blocking. So the plate boundary runs to the other end of the Garlock, Searles
    Valley, Ridgecrest. Across our Valley and goes up the 395 to Long Valley and back to the coast. The landscape that entire way is Volcanic. The Ring of Fire. Our Ridgecrest quakes took on the stair step pattern found in the Gulf of Calif and the Juan de Fuca. Barstow will be the big one! What going on with southern Cali. The land is buckling up and moving. People were evacuated (140 homes).

    I have a theory. Baja Ca is land that has pulled away from the mainland. The Salton Sea is an extension of that. The San Andreas starts right above that. The Landers Quake left a long crack. The Lone Pine Quake left an escarpment. Now the Ridgecrest quakes have left a long crack. Ridgecrest is on the northern side of the Garlock fault which ends in Searles Valley. The Barstow area is the only segment that hasn't broken. It is just South of the east/west running Garlock. The Ring of Fire is where the volcanos are. The volcanos are on the east side of the Sierras from the Garlock up to Mammoth.

    A crack in the upper layer of the earth's crust near Hermosillo of Sonora, Mexico

    Solar Flares, Level 3 Geomagnetic Storms, Top News | S0 News Sep.13.2024 Solar wind amplified at earth. Strong geomagnetic storms. Technology was glitching. Storm was more impactful that expected. Earthquake swarms near Saudi Arabia and Malibu, California.

    A NEW SOURCE OF SOLAR FLARES: A large and complex sunspot just emerged over the sun's southeastern limb. A new sunspot is emerging at the circled location. It is crackling with M-class (and already one X-class) solar flares. Yesterday, it produced an X1.3-class solar flare even before the underlying sunspot was fully revealed. Any flares this weekend will be Earth-directed. Solar wind speed: 483.7 km/sec

    CME STRIKE SPARKS WIDESPREAD RED AURORAS: A CME hit Earth's magnetic field on Sept. 12th (03:50 UTC). It was debris from a dark plasma explosion on the sun four days earlier. The impact sparked a G3-class geomagnetic storm with red auroras deep inside the United States. Ross Stone sends this picture from the Owens Valley Radio Observatory near Big Pine, California:

    "I looked outside at 3:30am and saw red in the northern sky," says Stone. "I hurriedly grabbed my camera and headed to the coolest place I could think of to photograph the aurora. It was a glorious sight under these beautiful radio telescopes."

    The storm has subsided, but [i]it could flare up again this weekend when one to two more CMEs are expected to arrive.

    TWO MORE CMEs ARE COMING: Active sunspot AR3814 is crackling with M-class solar flares. The fusillade of explosions has hurled at least two more CMEs toward Earth, shown here in a forecast model from NOAA:

    The first and largest of the CMEs is expected to arrive on Sept. 13th, followed a day later by the second. These impacts should be effective because Earth's magnetic field is already vibrating from the strong (G3-class) geomagnetic storm of Sept. 12th. Another pair of CME strikes could extend the storm through the weekend.

    The Sun Is Doing Something That It Is Not Supposed To Do, And That Could Mean Big Trouble In The Months Ahead

    The giant ball of fire that our planet revolves around has been far more active than scientists originally anticipated this year, and that could have very serious implications for all of us in the months ahead. Fluctuations in solar activity affect our climate more than anything else does, and we also tend to see more earthquakes when solar activity is at elevated levels. The current solar cycle is supposed to reach a peak at some point during the next 12 months, but so far there are no signs that solar activity is slowing down.

    In fact, the average number of sunspots that we witnessed last month was the highest that we have seen since 2001…

    The average number of sunspots reached 215.5 in August, according to the Solar Influences Data Analysis Center at the Royal Observatory in Belgium. It’s the highest number since Sept.-Dec. 2001, according to SpaceWeather.com. July’s total was 196.5. Last month, NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center issued a preliminary statement that solar activity is at its highest since March 2001.

    This wasn’t supposed to happen.

    Scientists were originally projecting that we would see about half as many sunspots during the month of August…

    Experts had predicted that August would only see half as many sunspots, indicating that the solar maximum is imminent, and it may be more active than anticipated, possibly bringing intense solar flares and coronal mass ejections.

    The number of sunspots has been increasing at an exponential rate for the past couple of months.

    Hopefully we will get a reprieve here in September.

    Because if we don’t, we could see more severe geomagnetic storms like we did in May…

    In May 2024, Earth experienced its strongest geomagnetic storm in over 20 years, with auroras visible much farther south than usual, including regions as far as Florida and Mexico. If another large sunspot appears around the time of the September equinox, it could lead to a similar or even stronger event.

    When a very large geomagnetic storm occurs, it can disrupt our lives in countless ways.

    Back in May, even farm equipment was dramatically affected…

    Ronald Rabon, the owner of Double R Farms, said back in May when the G-5 extreme solar magnetic levels occurred, he was out spraying his cotton field when his equipment started acting up.

    “I didn’t know what was wrong with it,” Rabon said. “All I knew, it was, and you could get it straightened up and go for a few minutes. And it might go 20, 30 minutes and whatever minutes from then, all of a sudden, you’d be going through the field and it might just take a left.”

    Rabon said one of the biggest problems with the solar flares is preventing his sprayers from being accurate. His GPS uses precise alignments for spraying, and when knocked out of its track, could overspray his crop and kill it.

    Of course if our planet is hit by a large enough storm, it could fry power grids, take down the Internet, and cause massive societal problems all over the world.

    Hopefully such a scenario will not play out any time soon.

    All of the solar activity that we have been witnessing is also the primary reason why there has been so much intense heat this summer…

    Summer broke global heat records for the second straight year, scientists have confirmed — putting 2024 firmly on track to be the hottest year in recorded history.

    The period between June and August — summer in the Northern Hemisphere — was the world’s hottest such period since records began in 1940, according to data published Friday by Copernicus, Europe’s climate change service.

    Much more importantly, there tends to be a lot of seismic activity when solar activity is very high, and that is precisely what has been occurring.

    In particular, a lot of experts are quite alarmed about all of the shaking that we have seen in California lately…

    Residents in California experienced a swarm of five earthquakes within the last 48 hours.

    A 4.4-magnitude was felt in the north around Lake County on Saturday and two more struck the area the following evening, ranked as a 2.7 and 2.8-magnitude.

    Locals in southern California also reported two more quakes on Saturday, with the largest ranking a 3.9-magnitude.

    Within the past 7 days, there have been more than 900 earthquakes in California and Nevada.

    As I discussed the other day, I am extremely concerned about the instability that we have been witnessing on the west coast.

    This is something that I will be watching very, very closely during the months to come. In my brand new book, I explain why I believe that we have entered a time when we will see historic earthquakes of absolutely epic proportions.

    Of course it isn’t just the U.S. that will be affected.

    There has also been a lot of shaking south of the border lately too.

    On September 6th, a gigantic crack in the Earth that suddenly opened up actually swallowed four cows…

    A large earth crack opened in Ejido J. Cruz Gálvez, located in the Hermosillo municipality of Sonora, Mexico, on September 6, 2024, swallowing four cows.

    The crack is reported to be approximately 3 km (1.8 miles) long and 1.5 m (5 feet) wide, with a depth of 4 m (13 feet) in some sections.

    According to the rancher who recorded a video of the crack, it swallowed four cows. Local authorities have not yet issued any statements regarding the matter.

    It is not normal for a crack in the Earth that is 3 kilometers long to appear out of nowhere.

    When will people finally start to wake up?

    Our planet is becoming increasingly unstable, and this should deeply alarm all of us.

    Meanwhile, the skies above our heads are becoming increasingly active as well.

    For example, a giant space rock that is “approximately the size of two football fields” will come flying by our planet on September 15th…

    An asteroid approximately the size of two football fields is set to make a close approach to Earth this month. According to the New York Post, the 720-foot-wide asteroid named 2024 ON, will pass around 620,000 miles from our planet on September 15. While this distance might seem vast, it’s remarkably close in astronomical terms – equivalent to just 2.6 times the distance between our planet and the Moon. However, it poses no threat to Earth.

    The good news is that this particular giant space rock is definitely going to miss us.

    In the future, we may not be so fortunate.

    So much is happening in the skies above our heads, but most of the population is not paying attention.

    Unfortunately, it is just a matter of time before major events start to happen that none of us will be able to ignore.

    After 10 hours of being in the peripheral regions of the solar plasma cloud, the planet was still hooked by the core of the ejection. A jump in the parameters of the surrounding cosmic gas was recorded at about 01:30 Moscow time, and at about 4:30 a.m. the most dramatic changes occurred. This moment was registered by ground-based magnetometers as the beginning of a magnetic storm at the level of 3.66 (almost 4 on a 5-point scale). At the moment, the event is still ongoing, although it should not be long. Still, the main masses of plasma have already passed by the planet. Very strong auroras are currently observed in the Western Hemisphere. In fact, under the auroral oval is the entire territory of Canada up to the southern border, as well as the northern states of the United States. In the eastern hemisphere (including Russia) there is no aurora zone.

    I have NOT said anything to anyone literally not even my wife...

    I noticed that storms and the greater tropics were shifting NORTH, which is counter to what is supposed to be happening now in the autumn season.

    So I sat here daydreaming about where this new equator and tropics would go.. and I saw my location in St. Louis Missouri lining up with the edge of the tropics equator IF the North Pole were to really shift over to Russia.

    If the north pole really shifts that far over, then the tropics will come up to my location .. and if there is any tilt or rotation shift, then that would put the EQUATOR going this direction from Mexico up through Texas and up through Washington state!

    This would still put my location in missouri in a sub-equatorial tropical zone.

    A BIG NEW SUNGRAZING COMET: Today, many astronomers are excited about a new comet discovered just a few days ago by the ATLAS survey. It's so new, it doesn't have a name yet, just the provisional designation "A11bP7I." What's the excitement about? A11bP7I is a sungrazer potentially on course to become a very bright comet in late October/early November.

    "We are here in Namibia to observe Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS," says Jäger. "The new sungrazing comet was discovered not far away. It is already 11th mag with a 2' green coma and a short tail."

    The orbit of the new comet reminds many experts of Great Comet Ikeya–Seki (C/1965 S1). In 1965, Ikeya–Seki became so bright when it passed by the sun that it was visible in broad daylight at magnitude -10. Japanese observers famously saw it at high noon.

    "A11bP7I is at least 4-5 magnitudes fainter than Ikeya-Seki at the same distance," notes Qicheng Zhang of the Lowell Observatory. "Nonetheless, it could still produce a prominent visual display in early November if it survives its close encounter with the sun."

    Like Ikeya–Seki, the new comet is a Kruetz sungrazer. Kreutz sungrazers are fragments from the breakup of a giant comet ~2000 years ago. Every day, several fragments pass by the sun and disintegrate; indeed, SOHO coronagraphs have discovered thousands of them. As a rule, they are very small, but A11bP7I could be an exception--a big fragment that survives the heat and becomes visible to the naked eye.

    Sungrazing comet expert Karl Battams of the Naval Research Lab would love a great display, but he is also filled with caution: "Kreutz comets often exhibit 'outbursty' behaviors. So, while I hope with all my heart for an Ikeya-Seki 2.0, it seems this could also be a much smaller Kreutz fragment that has simply erupted a little ahead of schedule [making us think it is bigger and brighter than it actually is]."
