What does outbox and sent mean in the pms tab of the forum? What is the difference?

I've noticed that my pms stays in the outbox as long as the receipent is ofline. As soon as he/she logs in, the pm goes in to the sentbox.

If I'm wrong, could you admins clarify?

Sent box records everything you have send.
Outbox records the PMs that have'nt been picked yet.

Hmmm - I just went to My PMs to see if I can delete some that I have in there and yep - No Problems doing It.

Just so We are clear - You go to Your PMs Page and then select the Box on the Right that corresponds to the Message(s) You want to delete.

Once the Message(s) is selected - You then go to the bottom of that Page and Click on the button labeled "Delete Marked". That'll delete the Message(s) You've selected.

Have You tried going about It the way I've described above ?

    Huh ?

Thanks for your prompt response Merc. I did everything as you described, but still can't delete. I even logged out and back on and still the same.

Descibe to Me what You are doing in trying to delete these PMs.

Give Me a Point by Point reply please so I can see where this is going awry ?

Exclusive of that I'll need to get Your PW VIA PM so that I can have You Log out - Then I'll Log into Your Account for a specified and agreed upon amount of Time and do the attempt Myself...

    Question

Nothing is amiss at all. I was easily able to Delete 2 PMs that You had in Your Inbox from Myself...

    > I selected the 2 Messages using the selection Box at the Right of the Messages.

    > I then Hit the Button at the bottom of the Page labeled as "Delete Marked".

    > I then was given a Page saying ;

    "Information

Are you sure you want to delete this message ? Yes / No
    "

Where I then Hit the "Yes" Button and the Messages were then Deleted...

As far as I can see - Nothing is wrong Neb and all is working as It should.

    Huh ?
