A 7.6-magnitude earthquake 1,500 miles away triggered a “desert tsunami” in Death Valley National Park, rangers said. The earthquake struck Mexico near the Colima-Michoacan border on Monday, Sept. 19, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Less than a half-hour later, Death Valley started shaking. “Twenty-two minutes later, water started sloshing 1,500 miles away in Devils Hole,” park rangers said in a Sept. 21 news release. “The waves reached 4 feet high around 11:35 a.m.” Devils Hole is a limestone cave in Nevada’s portion of the national park that’s partially filled with water. It’s hundreds of feet deep. Park officials said the earthquake caused a “seiche,” which is a wave that swings around a standing body of water. It stirred up sediment and rocks from the shallow part of the cave and removed algae growth.

That could be a problem for endangered pupfish that live in the water. About 175 pupfish live in Devils Hole, park rangers said. They depend on algae that goes on the shallow cave shelf. “The pupfish have survived several of these events in recent years,” Kevin Wilson, National Park Service aquatic ecologist, said in the news release. “We didn’t find any dead fish after the waves stopped. The Devils Hole pupfish population have been on an upswing lately.”

The Salton Sea is a shallow saline lake in the California desert. It’s about 120 miles northeast of San Diego.

Melting roads in Yellowstone National Park are real — but not a reason to panic - September 13,2022 Roads in Yellowstone are melting “like silly putty.” They’re covered in ripples and potholes, and they’re getting warmed from under the Earth’s surface.

The road stretches over a large thermal area of the park, and it had a history of warping the asphalt before 2014. The road gets heat from underground and from above during the summer months. “The result of this heating is that the asphalt softens and can flow, like silly putty,” geologists said. “This can create ‘ripples’ in the road surface, and potholes are more likely to form.” When cars go over the hot asphalt, that can cause more damage. Other roads throughout the park have also been warped by the heat, experts said. The famous Old Faithful geyser, as well as other thermal features, have caused constant problems on roads.

“Do roads sometimes ‘melt’ in Yellowstone National Park? The phrasing is a bit melodramatic, but indeed, roads can be impacted by the thermal ground they traverse,” USGS said. “This is nothing new, nor a sign of imminent volcanic activity.”

"I think we're pretty much on the edge of an M8.0 in the next few days (this week) in the West Pacific , likely between our sets of deep earthquakes between Tonga and Indonesia, which rests near Vanuatu with the current reported deep quakes.... but could go as far West as Indonesia or Japan IF they are not reporting the deep quakes accurately (or if they're reporting them at all).

That being said, I'm watching next to Tonga, since I can only go with what I'm shown by the agencies.

California is likely due for M5.0+ in Southern California East of Los Angeles.

Also very interesting the earthquake swarms all of a sudden along the "starfort" I showed you !"

11/04/2022 -- West Coast M6.2 Earthquake - Spreading Eastward -- Don't be scared, Be prepared

About a day after the first M6.1 earthquake off the West Coast of California, a NEW M6.1 (M6.2) has struck 1,000 miles to the East just South of the California border.

The spread is going in the direction we would expect, however this is a larger push than expected, we are going up to M6.1 instead of M5.1 !!!

Also worth mentioning, both Kansas AND the New Madrid Seismic Zone both started moving with several small earthquakes all of a sudden. This begins the forecast hit for the midwest.

It's a lot of activity going on at once, that is for sure.

Italy was warned 7-8 days ago to watch near Norcia Italy for up to M6.1 earthquake activity within about 7 days.

Today, on the last day of the M6.1 earthquake warning for central Italy , a M6.1 earthquake struck the exact warned location (approx 75 miles from Norcia).

The M6.1 was downgraded to M5.7 (M5.6 USGS) , but certainly was originally reported at the exact magnitude expected.

Things are picking up pace as expected. A large M6.2 struck just South of the California border with Mexico, and a large M6.1 struck in Turkey (europe).

As promised, I also delve into the starfort finds I made.. including the military bases in the middle tip of each one... including the new madrid seismic zone starfort, as well as the California, Nevada, and Oregon ones.

It is now INDISPUTABLE. I am physically showing Ft. Leonard Wood, US geospatial agency being built in St. Louis, Weldon Spring Missouri nuclear site and army base, Edwards Airforce Base, Yucca Mountain, 29 palms marine base, Nevada nuclear test sites + Area 51, Hawthorne Army base, Facebook Data center and Hanford Nuclear site..... all in the pinnacle tips or directly on the sides of starforts which are dozens to HUNDREDS of miles in size.

Obviously the military and people in large corporations like facebook are aware of this, no way its chance with this many sites showing up in the middle of each starfort structure.

I have more examples than this ...with this many, it means that whole groups of people in government must know the truth about what these are on some level.

Have you noticed that there have been a lot of very unusual earthquakes around the globe this week? Suddenly, large earthquakes have started to erupt in some of the most high risk areas of the planet. Unfortunately, that includes the west coast of the United States. For years, I have been warning my readers about what will happen when “the Big One” finally hits the west coast. Could it be possible that the quakes that we are witnessing right now indicate that the fault zones along the west coast are starting to wake up again? Let us hope not, because this would be a really, really bad time for a historic seismic event. At the beginning of this month, a magnitude 6.0 earthquake shook a large area near the California coastline, and that quake took a lot of the experts by surprise.

A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck near the coast of Mexico’s Baja California on Tuesday morning, with impacts felt over 150 miles away in Southern California.

The United States Geological Survey says the quake occurred in the Pacific Ocean, about 125 miles south of the U.S. border.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred on November 16, just west of Pecos, Texas. This was the state’s largest earthquake since 1995 and was felt as far as El Paso. The oil and gas regulatory agency is trying to understand if this was a naturally occurring earthquake or if it was caused by waste water from fracking. Waste water disposal from fracking has dramatically increased the number of earthquakes in Texas. The seismic activity has especially become more common around the Permian Basin in West Texas, where oil and gas production is concentrated, according to the Texas Tribune.

Hundreds of people have been killed and injured, and scores more displaced, after a magnitude 5.6 earthquake hit Indonesia’s main island on Monday.

At least 162 were killed and 700 hurt after a shallow tremor hit West Java near the town of Cianjur, around 45 miles south of the capital Jakarta, at 1.21pm local time.

The quake triggered a landslide and collapsed buildings in hard-hit Cianjur – where most of the deaths were reported – but also shook tower blocks in Jakarta for three terrifying minutes as people rushed on to the streets.

The 5.6-magnitude quake hit the Cianjur region in West Java about 1:21 p.m. local time on Monday at a depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles), according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), causing buildings to collapse while school classes were underway.

A second quake, with a magnitude of 6.0, struck nearby 30 minutes later.

A 6.4-magnitude earthquake rocked parts of northern California early Tuesday morning, knocking out power for thousands.

The quake hit at a depth of 10 miles just after 5:30 a.m. ET near Eureka in Humboldt County, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

It struck around 7.4 miles west-southwest of Ferndale, the USGS said.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone was injured by the earthquake.

More than 55,000 utility customers were without power in Humboldt County as of 6:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday morning, according to online outage tracker Poweroutage.us.

There was no threat of a tsunami in connection with the earthquake as of early Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service's tsunami warning system said.

A number of people said on social media that they were woken up by the MyShake earthquake warning app on their phones.

It comes almost exactly a year after a a 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck offshore in the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California on Dec. 21, 2021. No major damage or injures were reported in connection with that quake.

That earthquake had struck at a depth of 5.6 miles in the Pacific Ocean about 24 miles west of the small community of Petrolia along the rocky wilderness of California’s Lost Coast region in Humboldt County, the United States Geological Survey and the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department said at the time.

At least 55,000 people in Humboldt County are without electricity, according to PowerOutage US.

Humboldt County is located around 200 miles from San Francisco.

Blackouts have also been reported in Santa Clara County, Mendocino County, San Francisco County, and Siskiyou County.

Multiple gas leaks have been reported in Fortuna, reports say.

No injuries were recorded, according to reports at the time.

The quake comes just months after a 5.1 magnitude tremor hit San Francisco.

Officials say that the quake was 12 miles east of San Jose on the Calaveras Fault, ABC 7 reported.

An earthquake rattled parts of Northern California on Sunday for the second time in two weeks. The 5.4-magnitude quake was centered about 30 miles south of Eureka. On Dec. 20, a 6.4-magnitude earthquake also struck near Eureka.

Now one quake prediction research firm warned that the next big one could be imminent.

On Monday morning, Quake Predictions published a warning that read for the next two days -- there is a "dangerous situation" of the likelihood of a 7.0-magnitude "in the San Francisco Bay to NW of Los Angeles area."

The warning comes after two sizeable quakes hit Northern California in less than two weeks.

Sunday morning's earthquake was described as "more violent this time," Rio Dell Mayor Debra Garnes told CNN in an interview.

"It was shorter but more violent. My refrigerator moved two feet. Things came out of the refrigerator. There's a crack in my wall from the violence of it," Garnes said.

California has an average of five earthquakes per year with magnitudes between 5 and 6, according to LATimes. And the latest shakings might suggest a long overdue big quake could be nearing.

It is now about to be "go time" yet again, with a new deep M6.5 Earthquake striking below Papua New Guinea in the West Pacific.

A large M6.9 (M7.0) earthquake has struck the warned area North of New Zealand with the expected upper M6.9 to low M7.0 event.

The antipode of Turkey..... the location from Kermedecs to Point Nemo..... was warned for a new M7.0 after Turkey was hit with both M7 range earthquakes.

Additionally, a secondary warning was issued for Vanuatu to the Kermedecs when the deep M6.5 earthquake struck below Papua New Guinea a few days ago.

Now both locations have moved as expected... Vanuatu struck by a M6.5 to M6.7, and Kermedecs struck by M6.9 to M7.0 range.

Turkey was not struck (yet) , and was a miss for me in my forecasting, as I explain in detail in this video, where I got it wrong, what I think I missed, and all other relevant details.
