Haha ... just found the following on Jeff Foster's page on Facebook :

This is so funny. I just found one of my quotes ("Speak your deepest truth...") attributed to Osho. I guess it just goes to show, our words are never our own. Life certainly has a sense of humour.- Jeff

Speak your deepest truth, even if it means losing everything - your pride, your status, your image, even your way of life.
A life of lies and half-truths, the burden of unspoken things, will eventually suffocate you and everyone around you.
Give up everything for a truthful existence. Know that you can only lose what's non-essential.
    Osho

Perhaps there are events and things that work as a doorway into the mythical world, the world of first people, all the way back to the creation of the universe and the small quickenings of earth, the first stirrings of human beings at the beginning of time. Our elders believe this to be so, that it is possible to wind a way backward to the start of things, and in doing so find a form of sacred reason, different from ordinary reason, that is linked to the forces of nature. In this kind of mind, like in the feather, is the power of sky and thunder and sun, and many have had alliances and partnerships with it, a way of thought older than measured time, less primitive than the rational present. Others have tried for centuries to understand the world by science and intellect but have not yet done so, not yet understood animals, finite earth, or even their own minds and behavior. They more they seek to learn the world, the closer they come to the spiritual, the magical origins of creation. There is still a place, a gap between worlds, spoken by the tribal knowings of thousands of years. In it are silent flyings that stand aside from human struggles and the designs of our own makings. At times, when we are silent enough, still enough, we take a step into such mystery, the place of spirit…

    The Chalice of Wisdom - Part 1 - Page 37 1044626_461686147269712_457039305_n

"We have all but forgotten that life is a rich and mysterious coming together of many worlds. We have lost sight of what the ancient priestesses and shamans knew, that the forms of our visible world have their roots in unseen dimensions, and that it is in these unseen dimensions that the primal energies of life lie. In our forgetting, we have lost the wholeness of life, and we have cut ourselves off from the real forces that shape our world. But when we are present in life, free from demands or agendas, when we allow life to unfold according to its own inner principles, we open up a doorway again between the worlds. Within our consciousness the inner and outer, the visible and the unseen worlds, can come together and speak to each other, and our split-apart world can become whole again."

    The Present

A man should look for what is and not for what he thinks should be.
    Albert Einstein

Truth you can check: It is as matter of fact as the ground and as useful as food. It's the kind of truth that can make hate and war as unnecessary as ignorance.

Charles Darwin revealed how evolution works, but not what it really means.

Evolution is no longer just a theory; it has been proven true beyond a reasonable doubt. The problem is, even people who believe evolution is true disassociate themselves from the process. They somehow skipped all the lower forms of animal life and just started out at the top of the evolutionary ladder.

The evidence says we evolved as life evolved.

Human beings did not just appear at the top of the evolutionary ladder to reap the benefits of those millions of years of evolution without having to live through it.

In other words, you were those other animals. Someone had to be them.

You had to be lower animals to be a human now. You lived as all the different animals in your evolutionary line. You lived through millions of years, and millions of lives and deaths to get to where you are now. That's what Darwin's book means.

In addition to the fossil evidence, the genetic code proves that all animals, including us, evolved from bacteria over the last 700 million years on earth.

In other words, you were a microbe, an insect, a fish, a dinosaur, an ape...

When all of the evidence (100%) says something happened, and there is no evidence (zero) that anything else could have happened, it is the truth beyond a reasonable doubt to honest, rational people.

We have come a very, very long way, but we have a little further to go. The next and last step in our evolution is learning and accepting the truth of life, and this includes acknowledging our true past.

The truth will free us from the animal world we all evolved from.
    1
Immortality: "It is impossible to be conscious of being unconscious."

It is not possible to be aware of being unconscious from your own perspective. You cannot be aware of not being aware. You can be less aware/conscious, such as when you are asleep, but not completely unconscious (dead), because time would stand still for you. A billion years could pass, and you would not know it.

How do you know you are dead? It is not possible to be aware of any gaps in life; it is continuous and never-ending from your own point of view.

Death and birth are a continuous event from your own perspective.

You will die physically, but you will be born into a new physical body. Being born happens, or you would not be here now. You were born into this life. It is what we know happens. There is no evidence anything else happens. True or false?

The "you only live once" theory: Many people say that they do not believe in reincarnation; they believe when you die, you're dead. What about fish, clams, horses, bears, flies? People that say you only live once are saying some souls get to live just one life as a worm, and that is it for all of eternity.

Other people believe you are judged by a god after you die. Is the worm judged?

Many people think human beings are the only animal that is conscious. Is a dog or cat conscious? Where do you draw the line? Is a bird conscious? The truth is that all animal life is conscious and alive just like us. The only thing that makes humans different from other animals is that we have a mind that can think and reason at a high enough level to know the truth of life, and those that know rise above animals.

It is time to see and accept the truth the evidence supports.

You are immortal; it is impossible to not be, because it is impossible to be conscious of being unconscious. Just that one sentence proves it. It is like these sentences: It is impossible for it to be light and dark at the same time, you cannot have your cake and eat it too. They are simple, but certain facts. The sentence "It is impossible to be conscious of being unconscious" is a simple and certain fact.

Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be changed from one form to another. Albert Einstein

Like energy, consciousness cannot be created or destroyed.

This revelation will change your life. Now you know where you come from and what you have been doing for about half a billion years (evolving). The next question is how does life work and what is next, and we can know that too.

People are trying to understand the universe independent of consciousness, and it is the most important factor in the equation.

The universe as it relates to conscious life can be understood now. It is the ultimate truth; the truth that will transform mankind and the world.

    The Present ( with religion)

    Foreword

I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, that which is, that which was, and that which is to come. Revelations 1:8

That quote describes "life", not an old man in the sky, or a god that looks human.

You are destroying the word of God through your traditions that you have handed down. Mark 7:13

In other words; the Bible says traditional religions destroy the truth of God. The Bible is central to the Christian religion, but they don't see what it says.

Newton, Einstein, and Tesla were the greatest scientists and were mystics. Science and religion have different pieces to the puzzle of life, and people need both to learn the ultimate truth of life. This book unites them for the first time.

What if the Bible and all other religious books are being misinterpreted?

What if the truth is in the Bible and many other religious books, but no one can see what it is? This book uses science, philosophy, religion, art and inspiration to reveal the unseen truth. It shows that most of the great prophets, philosophers, and poets are saying the same thing, but almost no one knows what it is.

Jesus is saying something completely different than what Christians think.

Religious books are not just filled with myths and morality tales as many people believe. The truth is in them; they are just being misinterpreted by religions.

The new interpretation will be the best thing that ever happened to religion.
Religions will make sense, and people will be able to understand them for the first time. This will make religions much more popular than they have ever been.

Traditional religions will not change; people will just see the truth in them.

Religion without the truth is like a light bulb without electricity. With the truth, religions will be reborn, and there will be an explosion in spiritual growth. Religions will no longer be based just on blind faith.

Just the truth: The truth about life and death can be explained without any reference to religion, and some people may prefer that, but more than half of the human race is involved in a religion. Thus, to be the ultimate explanation of the truth, it must include religion, all religions. This is the only way to unite us all.

Science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind.
    Albert Einstein

You do not have to be smart to know the truth, but you do have to be rational, be honest, and know a few things that could not be known until now.

The word “apocalypse” means to unveil, not the end of the world.

The meaning of the apocalypse is the opposite of what most people think. It does not mean the end of the world; it means the revealing of hidden secrets and the beginning of a heaven on earth. The apocalypse is starting now.

    1

Many things are the opposite, the mirror image, of what people think. For example, people think it is the context surrounding a statement that reveals the meaning of the statement, and that is true with normal books. With the Bible, the opposite is true. The context hides the meaning. You have to dig through a lot of rock before you find the nuggets of gold that the rock contains.

Jesus said, "When the outer has become as the inner, and the lower as the upper, then will this world find peace."

"Unless ye make the things of the right hand as those of the left, and those of the left as those of the right, and those that are above as those below, and those that are behind as those that are before, ye shall not have knowledge of the kingdom." Acts of Peter XXXVIII

Peter was given the keys to the kingdom; the quote above is the key.

This book contains a new and different interpretation of the Bible, but it is not just about religion. It is about the truth, the kind of truth you can check. It is all new, all true, and it reveals the best possible news. An open mind is required.

New and different revelations are not easy to accept. Do not let the things you disagree with stop you from reading further. Many of the things you do not agree with or understand when you first read them will make sense later in the book.

Religious people are sensitive about new revelations. This book doesn't replace or correct what Jesus said; it clarifies, expands on, and correctly interprets his words.

I have much more to say to you, but you are not able to grasp it now. When the spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into the whole truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you what is to come. John 16:12-13

Sometimes people hold a core belief that is very strong. When they are presented with evidence that works against that belief, the new evidence cannot be accepted. It would create a feeling that is extremely uncomfortable, called cognitive dissonance. And because it is so important to protect the core belief, they will rationalize, ignore and even deny anything that doesn't fit in with the core belief. Frantz Fanon

Cognitive dissonance: Get to know these two words. It is the unseen enemy of mankind. It does more to cause war, crime and suffering than anything else, because it prevents people from learning and changing. If you are ready to overcome your cognitive dissonance and learn the truth of life, keep reading.

Save everyone: It is important to understand we do not want to hurt anyone or anything. We want to fix people and institutions that are flawed, that are sick and infected with BS. We just have the medicine, the cure. We want everyone to succeed, especially the "bad guys." We are not anyone's enemy; we want to make love, not war. When the people living in the dog eat dog animal world, playing the power game, the get rich and famous game, see the truth of life, they will realize that they are their own worst enemy. They will change, because it is in their best interest to change. They will change for selfish reasons, which is fine as long as they see the truth of life and get on the path to a paradise on earth.

The word “sin” means to “miss the mark.” It has nothing to do with breaking religious or moral rules. The only thing you can do against God/life is shut the truth and the life out, and just about everyone is currently doing that. Shutting out the truth and the life is the only way you can miss the mark, the only way you can sin.

The worst sin has to be not learning the truth of life while you can. The truth and the life has to be God, so people that ignore the truth or give other things priority are saying by their actions and their desires that they do not want to know God. That has to be the greatest sin. True or false?

Life knows no endings, only endless beginnings. The past is memory, the future imagination, and each seeming loss contains the potential for tremendous growth and release. Sometimes great creativity flows through the cracks in your story.

You are in the Garden, friend, and nothing yet has been named. Today is the first day of your life.

“The beginning of freedom is the realization that you are not “the thinker.” The moment you start watching the thinker, a higher level of consciousness becomes activated. You then begin to realize that there is a vast realm of intelligence beyond thought, that thought is only a tiny aspect of that intelligence. You also realize that all the things that truly matter – beauty, love, creativity, joy, inner peace – arise from beyond the mind. You begin to awaken.”

Beyond “I Love You”: Opening Without Demand

    by Chögyam Trungpa

To the conventional way of thinking, compassion simply means being kind and warm. This sort of compassion is described in the scriptures as “grandmother’s love.” You would expect the practitioner of this type of compassion to be extremely kind and gentle; he would not harm a flea. If you need another mask, another blanket to warm yourself, he will provide it. But true compassion is ruthless, from ego’s point of view, because it does not consider ego’s drive to maintain itself. It is “crazy wisdom.” It is totally wise, but it is crazy as well, because it does not relate to ego’s literal and simple-minded attempts to secure its own comfort.

The logical voice of ego advises us to be kind to other people, to be good boys and girls and lead innocent little lives. We work at our regular jobs and rent a cozy room or apartment for ourselves; we would like to continue in this way, but suddenly something happens which tears us out of our secure little nest. Either we become extremely depressed or something outrageously painful occurs. We begin to wonder why heaven has been so unkind. “Why should God punish me? I have been a good person, I have never hurt a soul.” But there is something more to life than that.

What are we trying to secure? Why are we so concerned to protect ourselves? The sudden energy of ruthless compassion severs us from our comforts and securities. If we were never to experience this kind of shock, we would not be able to grow. We have to be jarred out of our regular, repetitive, and comfortable lifestyles. The point of meditation is not merely to be an honest or good person in the conventional sense, trying only to maintain our security. We must begin to become compassionate and wise in the fundamental sense, open and relating to the world as it is. [...]

So-called “love” relationships usually take one of two patterns: either we are being “fed” by someone or we are “feeding” others. These are false, distorted kinds of love or compassion. [...] However, there is another kind of love and compassion, a third way.

    Just be what you are.

    The Chalice of Wisdom - Part 1 - Page 37 480283_555412284472581_56786267_n

I Said That I Would Sing

I first heard about this place,
    this little lump of clay
on a message board in space,
    about a billion stars away.

    The ad read:
‘Floating garden orb circling a sun.
Help us build a heaven here.
    We need one more volunteer’.
So I said that I would come.

I was asked when I applied
to name some service I could bring.
I think service should be joyous,
so I said that I would sing.

Well, I guess I got the job.
And I don’t mean to complain.
But it’s not like they described
    in that little classified
that I read before I came.

Had I somehow missed a turn?
Was this even the right place?
Had I fallen for a scam–
or was it more a fall from grace?

    Oh, it’s beautiful alright–
how I love the desert sky.
    And a quiet mountain lake
is enough to make me cry.
But I did not come prepared
    for the density or strife,
    for the cruel and inhumane
    injustices and pain
that can pass here for a life.

So from a very early age,
    I grew restless here because
of this longing to go home,
    though I could not say
    where home was.

Then in answer to my prayer
    or more truthfully my scream,
    my beloved self appeared,
come to wake me from this dream.

And with a diamond voice declared:
“Home is not some distant star,
    or some heavenly reward
that your days are marching toward
but the truth of who you are–

    An awareness so immense
it holds all of this inside…”
As she spoke my mind fell still
but my tears would not subside.

And from the arms of grace, I knew
    that all suffering would cease
if we could yield to this embrace,
if we just trusted in this peace.

To even try to find the words
    can be a sacrilegious thing:
So I’d just as soon be silent–

    ….but I said that I would sing.

From the CD "Unseen Grace" Kirtana

Wow, great video Mudra.  Cheerful  But he says we should meditate each day for one minute for each year of life. That's over 60 minutes per day for me.  Blink  Seems I've got a lot of catching up to do hehe.  I love you

We are in a world with intellect without wisdom and behold its majesty?

Are world is a testament to what happens when God is not present.

I read some of your posts at times Magamud and am glad I don't see the world through your eyes and beliefs. It does seem to be a sad, harsh and cold place ....very black and white...... with very little colour and beauty.  Crying or Very sad

Indeed Sanicle. Perhaps if you fight your monsters awake they won't always bother you in your dream.

The only thing we need fear is fear itself. Then 'monsters' aren't an issue.  I love you
