Unfortunately this is the case in the majority of circumstances Carol. I differ from you on the notion of timelines too. Often that can be an excuse of explaining anything away.

On Prophet, she lived in luxury whilst her followers lost everything and as I have touched upon in another thread her Church Universal and Triumphant, a descendent of Ballard's I AM activity her 'church' has some very dubious motives. As has been discussed elswhere.

Her son's website is an excellent resource on the misery she caused for others.

Having said, I agree that there should be empathy for those who indeed believe what they say without the intent to defraud and deceive.

I think sometimes we shouldnt demonise judging these people as perhaps someday it may save someone a lot of time, money and psychological stress. Often too, they disrupt the truth movement and they should be criticised and held accountable when there is evidence enough. If not they would run rampant would they not?
