Does society drive technology or does technology drive society? The newest technology consumers purchase today is already outdated the moment it hits the shelf.

I think both are driving each other over the cliff like Thelma and Louise.





Did they survive the jump and keep on going? Perhaps they did and we are living/ reliving the story of Singularity perpetrated in simulation.

I think one, technology,  is a reminder to the other of abilities we as beings naturally have but that are deliberately  being  suppressed or kept hidden  by ignorance so the lucrative business of material discoveries can flourish and prosper.

Why bother telepath when we can use a phone.
Why bother astral travel when we can use a plane.
Why bother using our Chi energy to handle an opponent when a gun can dissuade him.
And so on...
Why bother telling everyone they are spiritual beings unlimited that are able to do these things and train them accordingly when it's so easy to let everyone believe they are just mere flesh bodies limited.

We have become lazy.
