    Fellowship.

When communal bonds unite people, great success is possible. But such bonds can develop only when personal interests are subordinated to goals that serve the greater good of all. The broader the basis for action, the greater the benefits that can be achieved. And conversely, the greater the potential good, the more powerful the support behind it. A spirit of cooperation steadies the boat, but it helps to have a beautiful island to row towards.

Learn to respect the strength in diversity, for a community's true power lies not in its numbers, but in the diverse skills and resources of its members. Just as the stoutest walls are reinforced with many different materials, so the strongest groups allow differences to co-exist inside the whole.

With a unified group solidly behind you, even difficult enterprises can be attempted without great risk.

    The Search of Truth
    by Steve Gamble

    http://www.equilibra.uk.com/shop1.shtml

Balance is a state of being, a state of calmness and extreme stillness amidst the chaos and turmoil that passes itself off as being the ‘true’ reality in which we live. Like a tornado, which weaves its chaotic magic by creating destruction, devastation and imbalance with and within everything it touches, so too does man. Like a tornado has its inner peace - the eye of the storm - so too has Man. The centre of every storm is absolute peace, pure stillness and utter calm - complete balance amongst all the surrounding chaos. The centre of Man is no different. We need to find this inner centre, this inner balance, our own area of absolute stillness to avoid living in our own and everybody else’s chaos. A storm is only one example of how Nature shows us where and how we can find this balance, this space and inner peace of pure tranquillity.

There is no greater force than that of equilibrium. Everything, every energy, every vibration ultimately strives to reach its own perfect state of balance. We are no different. If we continue to look and focus our attention outside of us, all we will see and experience is the chaos of the storm and we will never find our inner self, our true being, who and what we really are. In attempting to reach this calm equalised state of being, it is only natural that everything including ourselves will tend to begin by swinging wildly from one extreme of chaos to another, just as a pendulum swings. We are constantly traversing the chaotic aspect of the storm if you like, passing fleetingly through that perfect balance somewhere along the way without consciously recognising or acknowledging it for what it truly is, except just enough perhaps, for our inner self, our intuitive side to register there is more to this life than we presently understand. This may explain why many of us keep searching for this something, this ‘more to life’, yet remain unsure of just what it is we are actually searching for.

Just as the universe may eventually cease to expand and begin to flow back towards its source, we too are beginning to stop searching forever outwards to find truth and balance. Through realisation, some may say awakening, we are beginning that opposite swing of the pendulum back towards our true inner selves and searching inwards, back towards balance, towards the centre away from the chaos and finally towards the peace and understanding of Oneness itself. Somewhere between that outer ‘reality’ of this chaotic physical world and the inner truth of everything that is, lies our own perfect balance, our own perfect space, which will allow us to exist as a Spiritual Being enjoying a physical experience. Not a Human Being striving and struggling to achieve a Spiritual experience in this Land of Illusion.

    GUIDED MEDITATION FOR GOING DEEPER
    BUDDHA'S SECRET MEDITATION
    by Lama Surya Das

    Seeing thru - Just being
    Through and through.
    Simply pay attention,
    It pays off.
When you become clear, everything becomes clear.
    Turn the spotlight,
    The searchlight, inwards.
    It is all available.
    What we seek, we are;
    Don't overlook it.
Neither too tight nor too loose,
    Simply sustain present wakefulness
    And clearly comprehend things
    Just as they are.
Contentment is the ultimate form of wealth.
    One ground, many paths.
Use the teflon side, not just the velcro side, of your mind.
    Practice cling-free relationships
    And cultivate dream-like practices,
    And experience dream-like awakening.

    Just seeing, recognizing, and releasing;
Simply experiencing, penetrating, and letting go/letting be -
Practice these three principles of natural freedom,
    The art of nonattachment.
    Seeing things as they are,
    Not as you are,
Is clear vision and insightful wisdom.
    No need to try to get into the flow;
The great tao flows right through you.
    What we seek is right here;
    We are usually elsewhere.
    We are all Buddhas by nature;
We only have to recognize that fact,
Thus awakening to who and what we are.
    Sleeping Buddhas, awaken -
Throw off your chains, your concepts and hang ups.
Seeing thru yourself, seeing Buddha, being Buddha.
    Embrace the marvelous neurotikaya,
    Come home and find
    yourSelf,
    and be free.

Nexus global and synchronized meditation : 12th of may 2010

“Look beyond what this world offers. Seek out another place beyond this earth. Be in the Now. Where you are right now is what is important. Slow down. Everything is too chaotic. Lay down everything you need to do. You’re not just your bodies, you know,” . “Keep your spirit connection. "
“If every human being recognized the power of the love and forgiveness principle, all consciousness on earth would change instantly. Indeed, thoughts can change the course of history. Sometimes, all it takes is enough people knowing about a certain concept.”

    May you all do well.

The following text is from the Global Coherency Initiative
    http://www.glcoherence.org/

    Introductory Coherence Technique

Being coherently aligned while radiating compassion and care increases focus and effectiveness. However, any genuine care and compassion you radiate benefits the planet, whether or not you are in total coherence. You can radiate care and compassion for the planet while riding down the road, exercising, working in the yard, standing in a grocery line or at any time you can squeeze it in. It all counts and adds to the collective intention.

    Steps:
    1. Breathe and calm yourself in whatever ways you choose.

    2. Choose something you appreciate - a person, pet, nature, etc. and radiate the feeling of appreciation to them for about 2 minutes. This helps open the heart more and increases your effectiveness when you start sending care to the planet or to a situation in need.

    3. Now evoke the genuine feelings of compassion and care for the planet.

    4. Breathe the feelings of compassion and care going out from your heart.

To help with focus, some people imagine the compassion and care flowing out the way an ocean wave flows toward a beach. Some imagine their compassion radiating as a beam of light. Others simply radiate it out with the rhythm of their breath. There are no hard and fast rules on how you do this. People are different, so find what suits you.

    5. Radiate the genuine feelings of compassion and care to the planet or to a specific area of immediate need.

    6. See yourself, along with other caretakers, participating in this process of healing and facilitating peace.

How long should you do the technique?

That’s for you to decide. Most people do it at least 5 minutes a day to help build their personal coherence. As people increasingly understand the wholeness benefits of coherence for the sender and the receiver, they often increase the length of time. Sometimes you’ll want to spend more time and other times less, based on how you feel and your schedule.

Buddha Shakyamuni is the founder of Buddhism in this world. In general,
"Buddha" means "Awakened One" - someone who has awakened from the sleep
of ignorance and sees things as they really are. A Buddha is a person
who is completely free from all faults and mental obstructions. Every
living being has the potential to become a Buddha.

Between these two worlds, which I will call--loosely and inaccurately--the Western and the Eastern, there is a great gulf fixed, a gulf which few minds can pass over from either side. This gulf has been hollowed out by the erosive action of speculative thought. Western thought, which has always been dominated by the crude philosophy of the "average man," instinctively takes for granted the reality of outward things. Eastern

thought, which, so far as it has been alive and active, has been mainly esoteric, instinctively takes for granted the reality of the "soul," or inward life. Such at least is the general trend of thought, on its various levels, in each of these dissevered worlds.

As is a man's conception of reality, so is the God whom he worships. Jehovah, the God of the Western world, is an essentially outward deity. Debarred by its instinctive disbelief in the soul from seeking for God in the world within, constrained by the same cause to identify "Nature" with the world without, the Western mind has conceived of a natural order of things which is real because God has made it so, and of a supernatural order of things which is the dwelling-place of God. But because the Western mind, in its quest of reality, must needs look outward, this supernatural order of things is conceived of as a glorified and etherealized replica of the natural order; and God, though veiled from sight by a cloud of splendour and mystery, is made in the image of man. Thus in the Western cosmology there are two worlds, the natural and the supernatural; and two bases of reality, lifeless matter and supernatural will.

In the East, where the soul is the supreme and fundamental reality, the identification of God with the world-soul, or soul of universal Nature, is the outcome of a movement of thought which is at once natural and logical. This divine soul is the only real existence: by comparison with it all outward things are shadows, and all inward things, so far as they hold aloof from the all-embracing consciousness,

are dreams. Thus in the Eastern cosmology there is one world, and one centre of reality, the world of our experience seen as it really is, seen by the soul, which, passing inward, in its quest of absolute reality, from veil to veil, and gathering within itself all things that seem to bar its way, arrives at last at the very fountain-head of its being, at its own true self.

    Closing Of The Cycle
The Last Days and What Is To Be Done

    Jose Arguelles

    “How come all I see
Is the child of God in misery?”
(Song lyric heard in a hotel restaurant in Chennai, India

    Message of the Time:
Let the wall fall into the moat
    The civilization is in ruin
Use no force to correct things
    But persevere in silence
The evil way is on the ascent
    But it has no foundation
Within yourself the signs of tomorrow are ripened

When we look at our world today in the middle of the year 2010, we see something that more and more resembles the beginning of Roland Emmerich’s 2012. Devastating earthquakes, floods, an unprecedented oil spill – the hemorrhaging of the Earth – and volcanoes. Besides the Iceland eruption, on May 29 it seems three other volcanoes went off: One in Guatemala, one in Ecuador and one in the area of the North Mariana islands. Note that the Mariana volcano – an underwater eruption – is very close to the deepest underwater trench in the world, the Mariana trench. Deep water volcano, Earth’s response to BP’s Deepwater Horizon rig that blew up just about the time the Iceland volcano first went off. Choreography courtesy the divine plan!

The human experiment – for it was never anything more than that – is now out of control. If the cycle is truly ending on 21 December 2012, and something is going to happen, then what is left to be done? No one yet has stepped forward to say, “game over!” So all that is left to be done is to change our consciousness.

As we see from the riots in Greece and Bangkok, not to mention the Israeli response to the effort to get aid to Gaza, while demonstrating the frustration of the people, as always, those who hold the power, the guns and the bombs, wield and often brutally maintain the power. Retreat to the inner realms and cultivate the highest consciousness. This is the essence of the message of the time.

This is a grand drama that is playing out now. What we are seeing is the exhaustion of materialism, what the Club of Rome defined in 1973 as the Limits of Growth. I was recently on an investigative visit to East Africa (Kenya) and South India. For a counterpoint to the misery that was everywhere evident, as I was traveling through different parts of these two countries, I took time to watch CNN, Al-Jazeera or BBC in the hotels so I could follow the oil spill and witness the European union voting a trillion dollar bail out for the Euro and some failing economies. It made me wonder: Where is the trillion dollars to give every human being on Earth a roof that doesn’t leak, an actual sanitary toilet, clean drinking water and real food on the table? No, it was quite evident that the species has failed in taking care of its own and in its capacity to save its environment. What people need to understand is that 21/12/2012 is actually humanity’s deadline, and right now it would rather send a man to Mars then deal head-on with what it has created on its home planet.

So the message of the time, it should be emphasized, is not just to change but to transform your consciousness into a supermental force. The route of material evolution is over. Now we can return to the mainstream of cosmic consciousness.
Consciousness and not life and form is the essential evolutionary principle of the cosmos. As the great Indian thinker Sri Aurobindo wrote concerning this premise:
“In this vision of things the universe will reveal itself in its unity and totality as a manifestation of a single being, nature as its power of manifestation, evolution as its process of gradual manifestation in matter.”(“Supermind in Evolution”)

The power of the mind created the machine and the artificial time that governs our lives. Returned to itself, the power of the mind can ultimately heal all things. The power of a hundred thousand minds synchronized as a single planetary consciousness focused on a single point could alter the evolution of our mind and spirit irrevocably while providing us with the knowledge, insight and telepathic skills to turn our crisis into the second creation.

Such a supermental event of consciousness by 2012 is possible. It is the solution augured by the message of the time. We would then also know, that we are not alone. Cosmic civilization throughout the universe, we will find out, had been waiting for us to come upon this solution. We will hear the cry resounding across the Earth: “Welcome Home!” And we will know: Yes, we are home. A new time and a new day will dawn.
