Life is meaningless only if we allow it to be. Each of us has the power to give life meaning, to make our time and our bodies and our words into instruments of love and hope.

Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in the English county
of Wiltshire, about two miles west of Amesbury and eight miles
north of Salisbury. It is one of the most famous sites in the
world. It has so much to do with numbers that some mystics have
    called it a prehistoric computer.

Archaeologists unearth Neolithic henge at Stonehenge

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-10718522

The new "henge" is about 900m (2,950ft) from the giant stones

Archaeologists have discovered a second henge at Stonehenge, described as the most exciting find there in 50 years.

The circular ditch surrounding a smaller circle of deep pits about a metre (3ft) wide has been unearthed at the world-famous site in Wiltshire.

Archaeologists conducting a multi-million pound study believe timber posts were in the pits.

Project leader Professor Vince Gaffney, from the University of Birmingham, said the discovery was "exceptional".

The new "henge" - which means a circular monument dating to Neolithic and Bronze Ages - is situated about 900m (2,950ft) from the giant stones on Salisbury Plain.

    "The Wisdom of the Heart"
    from the 14th Dalai Lama

Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.
Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values.
    Sleep is the best meditation.
Spend some time alone every day.
We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves.
Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.
We can live without religion and meditation, but we cannot survive without human affection.
Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions.
If you can, help others; if you cannot do that, at least do not harm them.
The ultimate authority must always rest with the individual's own reason and critical analysis.

    JOIN US IN HONORING
    "THE DAY OUT OF TIME"

    ~Yellow Self-Existing Star,
    Sunday, July 25, 2010~

Celebrating "Peace Thru Culture" in over 90 countries around the globe!

    Nexus meditations - Page 5 Doot-4-star

    Around the planet,
the Day Out Of Time is reserved for festival and community,
celebration of being alive, and the experience of true timelessness.

"The Day out of Time" is always synchronized with July 25th.
Based on the galactic timing cycles of the 13 Moon Dreamspell Calendar,
this is the 365th day of the year, but this day is no day of the month, and no day of the week,
this is a day for sacred pause and celebration before the dawning of the new year (July 26th).

Also known as "Galactic Freedom Day,"
this is the biggest holiday within the international 13 Moon Calendar community.
Celebrated annually since 1992, this day offers an extremely powerful opportunity for global focus
with planetary kin who are dedicated to establishing a New Time of Peace on Earth
and the Creative Emergence of Galactic Culture and Planet Art for the Benefit of All Beings!

    Central focuses are:
    Planetary Peace through Culture
    Stop business as usual
Attest to the truth that "Time is Art!"
...Universal Forgiveness, atonement, freeing of debts, purification, the Art of Peace...

We invite you to take this opportunity to join the festivities
in whatever ways you feel called - whether gathering with your community
or simply observing the occasion with your intention.
Regardless of your responsibilities on this day, please focus
on "stopping business as usual" and tune in to the telepathic field
as we collectively energize the Victory of Love!

The offical flag for the Day out of Time is the Banner of Peace.
This flag is flown in 71 Brazilian cities alone, where it is recognized as an official municipal holiday.
In Japan, over 100 Day out of Time Festivals displayed this symbol to
unify our intentions of "Planetary Peace Through Culture."
The 3 circles on this banner represent the unification of Art, Science and Spirituality,
surrounded by the one circle of Culture. The red represents our one universal human blood.

~Message from The Galactic Research Institute~
"In the new time of the 13 moons, time is not money, time is art.
So the day out of time is the day to celebrate time is art.
This is what hundreds of thousands of people who follow the new calendar do every year
on Gregorian calendar, July 25 – they celebrate time is art.
And since art is the basis of constructive peace,
this day is also celebrated as International Peace through Culture Day.

"Peace through culture is a fundamental premise of the 13 moon/28-day calendar.
When you celebrate time is art you are promoting peace through culture...

"...This is the single most important annual event
for showcasing the values of time is art, universal pardon
and the Banner of Peace and peace through culture..."

    In terms of time-tracking, it is the presence of a Day out of Time;
a day independent of the 13 Moons, that generates a perpetual calendar.
In other words, the 13 Moon Calendar system, if adopted,
provides a perpetual calendar due to it's inclusion of an annual free day:
    13 months of 28 days = 364 +1 extra day
that is not a day of the week or a day of the month.
This calendrical model is ancient, universal logic that is being offered
again that we may establish harmony with the biological cycles of nature,
laying the foundation of regularity to support our spiritual attunement.

The Day Out Of Time is the perfect moment to share the power of the 13 Moon Calendar with your community -
decode galactic signatures, and invite others to celebrate Natural Time and prepare for the start of a New Year!

You can find out about events around the world,
or post your event at http://www.planetartnetwork.info

On The Day Out of Time,
join us in activating the "World Protection Belt"
by simply visualizing a Rainbow around the Earth.
A more advanced meditation focus can be found here,
along with videos sharing the power of the Rainbow Bridge!

    Earthquake
    by: Author Unknown,

One day there was an earthquake that shook the entire Zen temple. Parts of it even collapsed! Many of the monks were terrified.

When the earthquake stopped the teacher said, "Now you have had the opportunity to see how a Zen man behaves in a crisis situation. You may have noticed that I did not panic.

I was quite aware of what was happening and what to do. I led you all to the kitchen, the strongest part of the temple.

It was a good decision, because you see we have all survived without any injuries.

However, despite my self-control and composure, I did feel a little bit tense-which you may have deduced from the fact that I drank a large glass of water, something I never do under ordinary circumstances."

One of the monks smiled, but didn't say anything.

"What are you laughing at? asked the teacher.

"That wasn't water," the monk replied, "it was a large glass of soy sauce."

2012 - Are We on a Schedule to Cosmic Consciousness?

    http://www.oxygenforthemind.com/articles/articlesmayan.htm

I was driving over the mountain range in Pennsylvania when I hit black ice. That is when time stood still for me. The car gracefully gave me a slow three hundred and sixty degree panoramic view of the world before gently sliding into the ditch. Fortunately no harm was done and, after getting towed out, we were quickly on our way. However, it got me thinking about how we perceive time generally.

Personally I sense an acceleration going on; that time itself seems to be going faster each year, and most people I talk to have the same view. But is it really time that is speeding up? Here’s an analogy that may explain the relationship:

Imagine a ball rolling across a level surface, the distance it travels each second would be constant, apart from the effect of friction – this is a linear approach that is similar to how we perceive life. However, if the ball were dropped from the top of a tall building, in the first second it would travel thirty-two feet. But the time it would take to travel the next thirty-two feet would be less than half a second as its speed would increase exponentially because of the accelerating force of gravity.

If you were a microbe on this ball, you might therefore conclude that time is speeding up. In this case it is not time that is speeding up, it is the distance travelled that is increasing each second. In a similar way, evolution is also exponential and time is not speeding up, but the number of events occurring in each year is increasing: It took two billion years from the origin of life to the creation of cells and just fourteen years from the PC to the World Wide Web!

To demonstrate the exponential nature of evolution, astronomer Carl Sagan imagined a cosmic calendar in which one year represented the whole of history from the start of the universe (big bang) until today. His powerful conclusion was: “We humans appeared so recently that our recorded history occupied only the last few seconds of the last minute of December 31st.” When this type of acceleration is plotted on a logarithmic scale, as was done by futurist Ray Kurszweil, the pattern unfolds as a straight line with events increasingly faster and faster. Author, Ken Wilber suggests that this scientific view of history as mere evolution suffers one great defect: “It cannot explain or even suggest the meaning of this going somewhere. Why evolution - What is the purpose of history?”

However, an alternative with striking similarities to the scientific version of evolution is the Mayan Calendar which provides not only a context and a structure supported by history; it suggests a meaning of divine importance. The interpretations developed by Carl Johan Calleman, an internationally recognized authority in Mayan history, detail this inspiring viewpoint and provide credible evidence of its validity.

According to Calleman, the Mayan Long Count is not a calendar of time, but is believed to be a sacred schedule of energy for the evolution of consciousness through time. Its date of creation is unknown in the mists of centuries BC. It is a schedule of incredible mathematical precision in which time accelerates in each of nine overlapping epochs.
They cover from the ‘big bang’ billions of years ago until ending on the same date: 28 October 2011. Each new cycle commences with a distinct leap, a quantum jump, into an expanded form of consciousness which develops and matures toward the end of that cycle. The nine epoch with their significant starting events are shown in the diagram below.

The first cycle of the nine, labelled the CELLULAR CYCLE, puts the start of the universe – the big bang – at 16.4 Billion years BC. This is remarkably close to the current expert estimate of 15 Billion years. Over this vast period the galaxies and solar system were formed, eventually followed by the emergence of cellular life by 1.26 Billion years BC.

To give an idea of acceleration nested in these cycles, 95% of the time passes before the next cycle is initiated. Each successive cycle is exactly twenty times faster and twenty times shorter than the one below. (The mathematical duration of each one equals 13 X 20x years, where x reduces each cycle.)

Finally, the last cycle, optimistically named the COSMIC CYCLE, will start 10 February 2011 and last only 9 months.

    Nexus meditations - Page 5 Maya734

    Seven Days and Six Nights

There is yet another rich dimension to the calendar: Each cycle consists of thirteen energy periods alternating between light (DAY) and dark (NIGHT) in a wavelike pattern. Does this pattern of Seven DAYS and Six NIGHTS sound familiar? It may give new meaning to the Biblical creation story of Genesis? Unlike the Christians though, the Maya believe it takes 9 stages for the full evolution of consciousness.

When Dr. Calleman overlaid key historical events with these energy periods, he found repeated patterns in all cycles and all fields, in which new ideas emerged during the light DAYS and were consolidated during the dark NIGHT periods. This evidence substantiates that these patterns were not just coincidence. The diagram below gives just one example of a technical evolution to illustrate the theme:

    Nexus meditations - Page 5 Basewave734

Another pattern uncovered and documented in an article by Ian Xel Lungold was that DAY 5 in all cycles seemed to have the most powerful energy of creation: it was this section when Art was invented, the message of Jesus moved over the earth, Einstein discovered the theory of relativity, and America rose to be a world power. Conversely, in human history NIGHT 5 has been a time of great physical hardship or major conflicts. The Neanderthals going extinct, Rome falling in 476 AD, the great depression 1932, and more recently the U.S. mortgage crisis in December 2007.

    The Birth of Cosmic Consciousness

The precise alignment of significant evolutions at the beginning of each cycle, coupled with the examples of quantum breakthroughs occurring in the DAYS within those cycles is evidence based. In his book The Mayan Calendar, Dr. Calleman’s research provides many more examples which gives credence to the accuracy of the Mayan Calendar. Based on this evidence, Calleman’s belief is that the calendar is inspired with a divine purpose – an infinite purpose.

Remember, the Mayan Calendar is a non-linear schedule for the evolution of consciousness rather than a calendar of time, and, like most schedules, it ends on a given date. What follows after then could be offering birth into enlightened consciousness, with the awakening of universal abilities that at present seem to be limited to a few: A blossoming of caring and compassion which leads the planet to one harmonious system.

Everything is going faster: we travel faster, we communicate faster, we make things faster, and our transactions are faster. The one thing that hasn’t changed is the speed of our thinking. When events happen faster than our ability to process them, we often feel as though we're caught in a tornado of competing demands which results in excessive stress. Not surprisingly, the rate of increase of stress in the world, which is tracked by the World Health Organization, took a distinct leap after 1999.

The good news is that there is growing experimental evidence that intuition can access needed information at extraordinary speeds and a recent study by HeartMath concludes that the heart actually receives intuitive information faster than the brain. As we move into this exciting future, emphasizing our intuition and heart feelings will make it easier to navigate a rapidly changing world.

In an inviting HeartMath article Experience the Planetary Shift, some suggestions for enhancing care and compassion are:
Spiritual practices like meditation and prayer that connect us to something greater than ourselves.
Heart connection with others, close friendships within and outside the family.
Gathering with others frequently for uplifting purposes: church, social causes, etc.
Like many others, I sense the acceleration of time, and that a dramatic shift will be occurring very soon. Yet I get so easily caught up in the drama of everyday news events and the dire predictions of my rational mind. However, I am finding that letting go, and allowing myself to quietly listen to my intuition and heart, there is a sense of deep peace and joy in anticipation of an expansion of human consciousness that will reclaim our inheritance.
