more US or united states of america soldiers commit suicide than actually die in combat or war

I didn't know that statistic, but it really isn't surprising.

They advertise the excitment and glory of being in the army / airforce / etc., yet the reality is far from the truth. Witnessing the evilness, and trauma cast upon innocent people plus the stress of just being in a place where anything can go wrong at any time, must be overwhelming.

Wounded war vets are not that well taken care of. Disabilities is one thing but the emotionally wounded are cast off as unstable.

Once reality sets in and they see the evil wizard behind the veil, many cannot handle this and do the unthinkable.
