videos

To day I can't embed videos by simply " copy/pasting the URL " in the video box .
I only managed to embed them by " copy embed Html " .
And then when I do so it comes out with " youtube " marks on both side that I can't get rid of .

Hello metaw ,

While posting playlists on the early music thread I have encountered the problems of wanting only part of the videos that showed up in the " show all videos button " posted.
But there is only one link for the embedding that includes all of them.
Is there a way to select only a portion ?

You have to find the right playlist or make it yourself if you have a youtube account. I'll reply to the other thread on how to make a playlist yourself.

there is no option to embedd a vimeo video, only youtube, dailymotion and google vids

On most videos that you'll find on the web look for the " embed " link or " share " that's either showing on the body of the video or below or somewhere near.

You 'll then get the code . Just copy and paste it as it it in the dialogue window of your post and your video will be embedded .

sometimes the " embed/share "link comes into view by moving mouse over vid.

- The youtube videos also have that " embed " link below the image of the vid.
You can just copy /paste it too when you post . You are not always obliged to use
the " video " icon to do so.
