Seventy metal books found in cave in Jordan could change our view of Biblical history

The books were discovered five years ago in a cave in a remote part of Jordan to which Christian refugees are known to have fled after the fall of Jerusalem in 70AD. Important documents from the same period have previously been found there.

Initial metallurgical tests indicate that some of the books could date from the first century AD.

So, the rhetorical questions: is there a difference between people who follow Jesus, and "Christians"?

I need to read the Gospels, again. Not because of religion or dogma, but because it feels like home. I can picture myself literally walking next to Jesus. It is an amazing experience (divine?). The book of John is my favorite, because of the focus on LOVE. This was the point.

Mmmmm...when I close my eyes I can almost feel the dirt under my feet, the robes around me, and the sound of good counsel after a hefty dose of forgiveness.

But, did Jesus really die on the cross?
