As you can see I live in France near Carcassonne, very close to renne-le-chateau ... If you can speak french you can readn and hear that most people around here don't believe its true ... Why ?

Because the supposed "Discoverer" has NEVER BEEN THERE !!!

They speculate that the treasure MIGHT BE there ... but yet they've never been inside the supposed cave ... Why ?

Because, again, if you can read french, it is strictly forbidden to make excavation or research in or around the commune of Rennes-Le-Chateau. Otherwise this would be a ravaged land with thousand of people digging everywhere around. If you come by here and see all sorts of Wicka, Magic, and Weird rituals from campers and tourist, you would understand why it's forbidden.


Thoses guys just said that so they can sell their books and make money out of it. That's the real treasure ...

I do. I didn't read the whole thing, but I read enough to figure out that they found sort of a cave entrance, but they're not allowed to dig, and they hope the government will do it. Besides the cave entrance, it's just speculations at this point.

Yes I speak French TRAN .
Indeed it is one of those titles that the media likes to use to attract audience and tourists .
From what I read there seems to be indications leading to that site in various paintings from Poussin .
The cave has'nt been entered at this point so the tresor has'nt been found yet .
As metaw says " it's just specultions at this point ".

WOW. Just got back from a short hols and was driving through there today.

The digging thing I think is right, although this could be the maw that states you are not allowed to dig for treasure anywhere, and if you find anything that is below the surface it belongs to the french government. But that being said I should say that as the son of a Journalist, we must remember that this is the silly news season as said in the journalistic world.

I will be heading down that way to give some workshops and will be spending a couple of days there.

I will take some time to read the news reports in french papers tomorrow and give my take on it.

But here is a couple of links that could be interesdting.

The first is from a book on line by the man who taught me dowsing some many years ago. I became a personal friend and he was, because he has moved to another plain now, an amazing man. He was adament that he had part of the treasure and that it was taken from RLC to Andorra. This chapter is very interesting. He also co wrote the book, "Holy Blood Holy Grail" but because he had given up all money wanted nothing to do with being on the book. The man created hospitals and fountain but only owned a suit case with some choice clothes.

I Have seen a documentary from the BBC that was down back in the 1980's but cann't find it on line, I know it went into the geometrix of the place and the paintings of Nicolas Poussin. If I find it will post it.
