http://www.pakalertpress.com/2011/01/14/huge-ring-appears-over-australia-is-haarp-involved/A contact in Australia just alerted me to what he describes as “very strange weather taking place over the south west of Australia”. He told me to go to the national weather satellite images if I could not open the images he attached. By the time I had discovered the e-mail and checked, the large clearly defined ring had mostly dissipated but still was just visible on a time loop which was spiraling counter clockwise (Low Pressure system)...--Colin Andrews

This is nothing new.
I've seen the same image or one very like it in the same location months and months ago when the stargate at Aden was in vogue.
It did not cause floods then and I doubt it is now however, I remain open on it.
IMO this story has no merit.

Thanks for the heads up. It's hard to keep up with all the news all the time. Although I must say that Colin Andrews has done outstanding work on crop circles, and he is generally skeptical about HAARP. It would be interesting to follow his findings on this one!

Hi DE
There is a parallel thread on this already and Mudra has found the original discussion thread.

Hi Anchor. Just what part of Australia is that in? On the west side - east of Newcastle?
Found it on google. South East.

Reminds me of Napa Valley, California
The Hunter Valley offers you a choice of coast and country, wilderness and wineries and a glimpse of genuine country life in its historic towns. Less than two hours drive from Sydney and 45 minutes from Newcastle Airport, The Hunter Valley is one of Australia’s oldest and most well known wine regions. Over 100 wineries are spread across sweeping vine-lined hills where generations of family winemakers are still onsite and inviting you to try their white and red varieties while telling their tales. The region is also renowned for its exquisite regional produce, such as cheeses, olive oil and olives as well as over 60 restaurants with acclaimed chefs adding their own unique but distinctly Australian style.
For those seeking an active pursuit you can walk or ride your way through a handful of wineries creating your own Hunter Valley wine experience or try your hand at a swing of golf at one of the Hunter Valley’s world class golf courses.
The Hunter Valley is also building its reputation as home to some of Australia’s most spectacular events. ‘The Lovedale Long Lunch’ and ‘Semillon and Seafood’ celebrates the region’s world class wine and food while a smooth melody of food, wine and music culminate for the ‘Jazz in the Vines’ and ‘Opera in the Vineyards’.
Another aspect of the Hunter Valley unknown to many visitors and within close proximity of the wine growing region is the Barrington Top National Park featuring pristine rainforests with kilometres of hiking trails offering peace, quiet and superb scenery including native animals and birds.
Cessnock is the southern gateway to the Hunter Valley wine region while the town of Pokolbin, about six kilometres west of Cessnock.
