As your neighbor, can only say, He's answered a Call to a Higher Power. His services are needed elsewhere now, and he be doing just that. I think he's being joined with many others who are leaving here now...

Dear Brook!
Having lost my 'super creative' daughter Deborah Martina at her tender age of 22 to the ignorance of this present mental realm called 'Human Civilisation upon planet Earth' in 2004; I can indeed share your heartfelt distress and sense of losing part of yourself.
This is a suffering from the soul, which remains in your beingness until you meet again and understand the whyfores and the therefores.
Now the 'transfer' and metamorphosis of John synchronised with the manifestation of the following code and the fulfilment of a certain timeline in the Logos of the Liontwin.
This was known as the supermoon of Saturday/Sunday May 5th/6th 2012 in the human annals and calendars.
So I share this further information with you and whoever reads this.
This code completes 3 weeks after this super full moon on Sunday, May 27th, 2012 and with respect to the decoding of the timeline below; you as the mother of John will be able to 'meet again' provided certain cosmic resonances allow you to communicate.
The Cosmic affinity and love of the Dragon family is with you and shares your discomforts, which shall be realised by many to have been a temporary requirement.
John knows, what I am sharing here - Starlotus from the New Alexandria.
Revelation 14
King James Version (KJV)
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Re: Why so quiet here lately?
I am so sorry, to hear of this Brook
know, that you, your son, his father, along with Lionhawk
and, your extended family, and, friends
are in my prayers at this time
-i am here for you, if you are in need of old friend
love, susan
God's Loan
"I'll lend to you for a little time,
A child of mine," He said,
"For you to love the while he lives
And mourn for when he's dead.
"It may be six or seven years
Or twenty-two or three,
But will you till I call him back,
Take care of him for me?
"He'll bring his charms to gladden you
And should his stay be brief,
You'll have these precious memories
As solace for your grief.
"I cannot promise he will stay
Since all from earth return.
But there are lessons taught down there
I want this child to learn.
"I've looked this world over,
In my search for teachers true.
In the crowds that throng life's land,
I have selected you.
"Now will you give him all your love
Not think the labour vain,
Nor hate me when I come to call
To take him back again?"
It seems to me I heard them say,
"Dear Lord, thy will be done.
For all the joys a child shall bring,
The risk of grief we'll run.
"We'll shelter him with tenderness,
We'll love him while we may,
And for the happiness we've known
Forever grateful stay.
"And should the angels call for him
Much sooner than we've planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes
And try to understand."
Native American Poem
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
Each one of us was touched by John Pedone,he lives on in all of us.

Lucent Dossier posted this is their newsletter last night.
The photo is from LIB 2008.
In Memoriam
On Friday May 4th our community lost a dear friend and collaborator, John Pedone.
John passed away after a tragic motorcycle accident.
He leaves behind many heartbroken friends who worked and played by his side for years.
John was a talented lighting designer lending his hand to many events in Los Angeles;
Coachella, Lightning In A Bottle, private parties, the list goes on…
He was also fun loving stilt walker, working often with our friends at Stilt Circus
and even joined Lucent on stage as a stilter at Lucent Delirium several years ago.
John’s light will shine bright in our hearts forever.
Shine bright, LOVE DEEPLY

In memory of John Pedone
12
MAY
2012
A good friend of mine passed away in a motorcycle accident.
I’ve been avoiding it, not wanting to process what that really means.
I wanted to believe he’d show up and tell us all to shut the XXXX up,
they got the wrong John, even though I knew the truth of it.
John could be a very selfish man, in the way we all are.
The most important thing to to him was what he wanted.
If you wanted the same thing, even better. He’d do it with you.
In that same container of flesh and bones, the vessel carrying the essence of John Pedone,
there was more, an energy, a vibrance that hooked you and pulled you in.
You never really knew how much he cared for you.
Until you did.
When he showed you in the most unexpected and beautiful ways.
He brought us a celtic decorative plaque one day for no other reason
than he saw it and thought of us. He wanted us to have it.
When we told everyone we wanted to hang artwork by our friends on the walls of our home,
he was the first one to bring a photo from his trip to Europe,
painstakingly going through his photos and deciding what would be good enough for us.
Excited to be the first and proud to be a part of our collection, to hang next to everyone we care about.
He never had an excuse to not show up to any gathering we held at our house.
He turned up on our doorstep just to say hi.
He’d make me mad, one frustrating occasion after another but it was always a John kind of mad,
the kind of mad you knew was irritating but utterly and exasperatingly
expected from him and anything less would’ve actually been a disappointment if you thought too hard on it.
I remember going to his apartment after his neck surgery and just hanging out with him,
bringing him food and keeping him company while he was laid up.
He told us how much he appreciated us visiting. I remember knowing exactly how much he meant it.
He was my friend. I will always want to have more just like him
but won’t because there is no one else so perfectly John.
He is the bar every future friend will have to meet.
He lived life exactly as he wanted, with zest and pizzazz, jumping naked out of airplanes with a chafing parachute harness over a crowd of people at Burning Man. John Pedone was selfish in the most selfless way I’ve ever known.
When it’s my time, I only hope to be remembered as being as selfish as I remember him.
I love you, John. I’ll miss you dearly.
Please donate to The Danger Fund, a collection for his family.

A 40-year-old motorcyclist in Valley Glen was killed when he was struck by a motorist
making a wide U-turn, police said today.
John Pedone, a Granada Hills resident, was killed by the crash at about 6 p.m. Friday at Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Oxnard Street, according to police reports.
The other driver, a 46-year-old Valley Village woman, apparently made a U-turn from the curb lane on northbound Coldwater Canyon. Her white Ford Expedition was struck from behind by the motorcyclist, who was also going north, according to police.
Paramedics rushed the motorcyclist to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The motorist remained at the scene of the crash. She was not immediately cited or arrested, and the case remains under investigation, an officer at the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Traffic Bureau said.
Detectives asked anyone who saw the crash to call them at (818) 644-8028.

Once again, the links to Daily News and L.A. Times web articles for those who want to read more details. Corrections: John was no longer living in Granada Hills. Also, he broadsided the SUV, didn't hit it from behind.

Deepest condolences
Brook,
Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I can't imagine what you and your family must be feeling. Words ring shallow at these times and I wish I could reach out and just hug the person.
God bless and peace all around.

Re: Why so quiet here lately?
Thank you all for your warm wishes.....I'll leave you all with a few words and pics.. I'm back home now...and can't stop pacing. Guess it's just nervous energy..but what has been the worst time of my life is also probably one of the biggest lessons. Never doubt.....never presume there is not 'something more'....pay attention to the signs....they're there to let you know there is so much more.
Now words can express my sorrow that's true. I know your all thinking I'm his mother and would of course feel this way.....but I have to tell you the world of Arts and Entertainment lost somebody special. the whole entertainment industry is mourning the loss. There has been so far a two day wake going on that is truly amazing. I can't begin to tell you the people that have contacted me. Artists in the field of entertainment have stopped what they are doing to say good bye.
He touched peoples lives and moved them in ways no one could. I was aware of this about my son....I was just not too certain until yesterday that others appreciated his efforts as much as I did. Well they did. He got at least a dozen people into the Local IATSE 728 Union and it changed their lives forever. One person writes and many did....on his Facebook wall....which I was clinging to yesterday because I could not be there:

He loved to Entertain and his favorite was stilt walking and circus acting with some of the performers from Cirque De Sole. Eros Biox, considered the worlds best stilter invited him into the local "Stilt Circus" to be a performer..and he loved it. It was his passion to do this and when They were not on the road with Cirque De Sole they did local performances. John would make his own costumes, learned to do his own make up and off they went....preforming for all kinds of events...mostly for fund raising. Once they did a Christmas show for an orphanage of kids whose faces lit up....(John would be the tree and the cowboy...both costumes of which he made himself) Oh yes/....his other passion was skydiving ..sometimes he did it naked..and was the founder of the Mystical Misfits at burning man...I'll leave a 2002 video of one of his dives at burning man.
Jeremy Weinglass a good friend of John's left some nice words on his facebook and was at his funeral service...so I leave you with a nice song from him (John also did the lighting for this show)....and some great pics
of my son who has now passed on and met up with his dad after all these
years......RIP my beautiful boy

John was a lighting genius in the industry. His rigs would amaze the directors. One actress wrote to him something along the lines....thank you for being our Gaffer...you make me look 10 years younger. But Lighting was not his only claim to fame. He did camera work For Giovanni Zelko who produces his own independent films. He did editing, electrical *(which is where he started out from his films class at Pasadena College), He was a board operator which he eventually became some of his artistry. He did some small directing parts for another production company. And the list goes on. There was not a whole lot he could not do in the making of films. That would include entertain and acting.I don't know what to say. John, I love you brother. We shared so many laughs and crazy good times. You got me into 728, you taught me how to do so many things (and what not to do lol), you never failed to be there for a friend. So many firsts you gave me, rock climbing, best boying a feature, 110' condor armed over a cliff, tying into an electrical panel for work and for pleasure haha. My heart is heavy with sadness but I'm so thankful that chance brought us together last Sunday and that the last thing I got to say to you was "love ya brother, it was good seeing you". You changed my life forever John Pedone, the world got a little dimmer last night when your light went off. Peace.

Re: Why so quiet here lately?
The service was very moving....his friends and family gave eulogy and it was never ending ...we had to stop it as the funeral home was due to close and it was a packed house...standing room only.... The most moving was Harry Lennix famous for the Matrix Reloaded. He was a "burner" from Burningman as am I as is John and they were good friends and worked on lots of things together. Now I suppose it's because he's an actor and can put the perfect reflection on every word in just such a way....but he moved me the most..... the cremation was the following day...which I was there for of course.....Friday was a huge gathering . They secured a park downtown and arranged a New Orleans style parade and a general celebration of his life... there were events going on like fire acts and all kinds of things . I leave you with a short video of Harry Lennix and a video where my son secured the top of a building after a shoot to preform ..of course my son is on stilts in this one.....Thank you all for your encouraging thoughts
harry Lennix
And I closed the service with one of his old college poems...

For life rejoices; this gift behold
What lies ahead, remains to be told
Progressing continuously, as our lives do unfold
Reveling more about the how and what and why
Neither accept nor so deny
For inherent is the urge to try
To finally conclude the question of why
Instead, question each answer that you have derived
Question them all till the day that you die
How did life commence and evolve?
The meaning of life demanded there in
Searching on, further, for purpose within
There is no real answer; no absolution
For life emerged from and remains to be a question.
by John Pedone
Everyone waving good bye to john in the park after the parade
And I 'll close with this.....
I forgot all about this picture until some friends and I were talking
about dragonflies yesterday. This was at a Moontribe and this little guy
loved John Pedone. He sat on his shoulder and followed him around for the longest time. ♥

Dear Brook, as an ex biker myself who has lost friends in accidents I offer my deepest condolences.
Your son certainly seems to have made the most of his time here.

Thank you....btw...the news reports were not quite accurate....the lady made a u-turn from a parked position into a double yellow line....meaning an illegal u-turn. She admited to only looking in her rear view mirror......the rule is....LOOK TWICE....turn you head and look ....this is also Motorcycle safety awareness month....(sigh)
The lady is being charged accordingly with misdemeanor manslaughter.
