I love to share a comment of a friend. To me, the difference between what we need and what we want is magnificently defined here.

I see Synchronicity as being by divine appointment. Many of the synchronicity appointments that are available to us are being missed,
simply because we are not using time the way it was divinely set up. Instead, we use it according to what we have intellectually learned
in the past. The past has taught us that time is ours to independently and intellectually to use to keep appointments that we have set up
ahead of time. By scheduling events ahead of time, we are not leaving time for the divine appointments, which would in fact save us time.
Of course using time for divine appointments requires us to look at our personal value. When we set up an appointment based on our intellectual understanding of an external matter, we leave out the intuitive factor, which is what synchronicity relies on. So it boils down to what we value more,
our personal intellectual understanding of what will bring us what we need, or our divinely inspired intuitive value, which will lead us to what we want".
