Our world got some serious problems and we're not even in the Apocalypse yet... which is the last book of the Bible.

Gabriel who stands in the presence of God gave Daniel a timeline consisting of "seventy weeks" in where the Messiah would come after "seven weeks and sixty-two weeks".

The reason Gabriel did not say sixty-nine weeks is because the Messiah would come twice ! And as Jesus said He would return before the generation who witnessed the fig tree put forth leaves passed away. In 1948 Israel was back and the fig tree has not only put forth leaves but blossomed against all odds inspite incessant attacks.

God foretold that Israel would be restored after 2000 years in Hosea 6:2 and so the miraculous rebirth and strength of Israel is because of God. And on 7 June 1967 Israel got control over the city of God the Jews ancestral capital Jerusalem after an Arab attack.

On that day 7 June 1967 the prophetic clock probably began counting down again until the second appearance of the Messiah who is Christ at the end of the 69th week before the last and 70th week which are seven years of terrible trouble known as the Apocalypse.

"Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;..." -Daniel 9:25

So when will the clock stop ? Seven weeks 7x7x360 = 17640 days comes to 23 September 2015 which happens to fall on the most holy Jewish day in the year the Day of Atonement also known as the Day of Judgement.

What will happen on that day ? I don't know perhaps the righteous dead will be raised up to God ?

"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed." - 1 Corinthians 15:52

"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first." - 1 Thessalonians 4:16

Then the Apocalypse a series of seven seals describing what is to come upon the world in the 70th and last week or seven years. And there is perhaps another mark in time in Revelation 12:1 about "a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth."

On 23 September 2017 the constellation Virgo will have the moon under her feet with a garland of the nine main stars in Leo and the three planets Mercury Venus March with Jupiter coming out of her womb after 9 months.

"She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne." - Revelation 12:5

This sounds like some kind of rapture God snatching his children away from the dragon who with his angels are thrown down from heaven to earth about this time.

"And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for themfn in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." - Revelation 12:7-9

Do you see prophecy as being conditional or absolute?? Do you see prophecy as being predictive -- or as being a verdict and sentence against humanity?? What is the relationship between absolute-foreknowledge and responsible-freedom?? I'm presently interested in how Joshua through Malachi deals with Genesis through Deuteronomy -- and with how Matthew through Revelation deals with Genesis through Deuteronomy -- and with Joshua through Malachi. One Individual of Interest said they "liked Genesis" -- but the way they said it sent chills up and down my spine. Another Individual of Interest said that Matthew was their favorite book of the Bible -- but they were heavily oriented toward the Torah and the Book of Revelation (and almost never referred to the teachings in Matthew). One of these Individuals of Interest said they were "Angry and Jealous". I've been passively wondering if the 2300 days-years of Daniel 8:14 began around 168 BC -- extending to around 2133 AD -- at which point the Sanctuary would be Cleansed -- with the Millennium covering 1133 AD to 2133 AD -- with absolutely NO BS after 2133 AD?? That date is approximately 120 years from now -- which might have a "Days of Noah" parallel (regarding the period of Noah's preaching and warning). I've been watching Babylon 5 which basically begins in 2258 AD (following the End of the Human--Minbari War in 2248 AD). This is approximately 120 years after 2133 AD. This probably isn't significant -- but I found it a bit interesting. I've been imagining a United States of the Solar System -- in the Context of Babylon 5 and the Earth Alliance. BTW -- does the commencement-date for the 70 Weeks have to be the same as the beginning-date of the 2300 days-years?? I keep thinking that Humanity -- and the Management of Humanity -- should both be closely and publicly examined in a proper legal-proceeding -- prior to any sort of harsh executive-judgment.

"Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks" - Daniel 9:25

1st time - the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem by Artaxerxes of Persia in Spring of 444 BC.
Seven weeks and sixty-two weeks (7x7x360 + 62x7x360 = 173880 days) from Spring of 444 BC comes to Spring of 33 AD.

2nd time - the command to restore Jerusalem by Dayan Israel's Defense Minister on 7 June 1967.
    Seven weeks (7x7x360 = 17640 days) from 7 June 1967 comes to 23 September 2015.

"Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed." - Revelation 16:15

"For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief;" - 1 Thessalonians 5:2-4

What has the world learned these last 150 years or so ? Besides the fact that Britain was not content with just an island ?

Well the world has learnt that there is no God after all and so only the strong survive and the winner takes it all. So how come some still believe in God ? Did not militant atheism in the name of communism beat the crap out of Christianity ? And militant nationalism gave the Jews a good one didn't it ? Why did the West import gurus from the East anyway ? And what about mass immigration of Muslims into Europe?

So is it ok to believe in God as long as not God of the Bible ? Sure seems like it ! And what's the old boys in the Vatican up to when not fondling alter boys ? What did old boy pope Francis say one day... "Personal relationship with Jesus is dangerous" ?!

Wow what an impostor and a wolf how can he not be the false prophet of the Apocalypse ? What there will not be an Apocalypse you say ? Wake up world ! Wake up !

You have eyes to see and ears to hear but do not see and do not hear !

I agree that things are an insane mess -- but I think there are more sane ways to manage the insanity. I think people need to spend more time researching all topics. Once again -- I think the Bible should be read straight-through -- over and over again -- without talking about it a lot -- and without following it directly in modernity. I think a lot of the lessons the Bible teaches are not nice ones. Not nice at all. BTW -- I wonder what Cecil Rhodes would think of a Ceremonially-Anglican and Constitutionally-American World-Government?? Here is yet another Ellen White study-list:

    1. Patriarchs and Prophets (from Chapter 59 "The First King of Israel" to the end of the book "The Last Years of David").
    2. Prophets and Kings (Second-Half of the Old Testament).
    3. Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing (Sermon on the Mount).
    4. Christ's Object Lessons (Parables of Jesus).

Does anyone know why I made these choices?? Does anyone even give a damn about any of this?? What I keep wondering is why that selected section from Patriarchs and Prophets was not included in Prophets and Kings?? Consider this as being Historical-Fiction (if you choose) but please read it. What if these choices might approximate a New New-Testament?? I have stated that an Idealistic New Testament might Positively Reinforce the Old Testament and the Red-Letter Teachings Attributed to Jesus. That's basically what this list does. A Jesuit could tear this concept to pieces (I am sure) but I still think that a devotional study of this material might be MOST beneficial to those with "eyes to see -- and ears to hear".  Here is a sample-chapter:
    Bible - Page 6 David_plays_for_king_saul
    The First King of Israel
[This chapter is based on 1 Samuel 8 to 12.]

The government of Israel was administered in the name and by the authority of God. The work of Moses, of the seventy elders, of the rulers and judges, was simply to enforce the laws that God had given; they had no authority to legislate for the nation. This was, and continued to be, the condition of Israel's existence as a nation. From age to age men inspired by God were sent to instruct the people and to direct in the enforcement of the laws.

The Lord foresaw that Israel would desire a king, but He did not consent to a change in the principles upon which the state was founded. The king was to be the vicegerent of the Most High. God was to be recognized as the Head of the nation, and His law was to be enforced as the supreme law of the land.

When the Israelites first settled in Canaan they acknowledged the principles of the theocracy, and the nation prospered under the rule of Joshua. But increase of population and intercourse with other nations brought a change. The people adopted many of the customs of their heathen neighbors and thus sacrificed to a great degree their own peculiar, holy character. Gradually they lost their reverence for God and ceased to prize the honor of being His chosen people. Attracted by the pomp and display of heathen monarchs, they tired of their own simplicity. Jealousy and envy sprang up between the tribes. Internal dissensions made them weak; they were continually exposed to the invasion of their heathen foes, and the people were coming to believe that in order to maintain their standing among the nations, the tribes must be united under a strong central government. As they departed from obedience to God's law, they desired to be freed from the rule of their divine Sovereign; and thus the demand for a monarchy became widespread throughout Israel.

Since the days of Joshua the government had never been conducted with so great wisdom and success as under Samuel's administration. Divinely invested with the threefold office of judge, prophet, and priest, he had labored with untiring and disinterested zeal for the welfare of his people, and the nation had prospered under his wise control. Order had been restored, and godliness promoted, and the spirit of discontent was checked for the time. But with advancing years the prophet was forced to share with others the cares of government, and he appointed his two sons to act as his assistants. While Samuel continued the duties of his office at Ramah, the young men were stationed at Beersheba, to administer justice among the people near the southern border of the land.

It was with the full assent of the nation that Samuel had appointed his sons to office, but they did not prove themselves worthy of their father's choice. The Lord had, through Moses, given special directions to His people that the rulers of Israel should judge righteously, deal justly with the widow and the fatherless, and receive no bribes. But the sons of Samuel "turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment." The sons of the prophet had not heeded the precepts which he had sought to impress upon their minds. They had not copied the pure, unselfish life of their father. The warning given to Eli had not exerted the influence upon the mind of Samuel that it should have done. He had been to some extent too indulgent with his sons, and the result was apparent in their character and life.

The injustice of these judges caused much dissatisfaction, and a pretext was thus furnished for urging the change that had long been secretly desired. "All the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah, and said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations." The cases of abuse among the people had not been referred to Samuel. Had the evil course of his sons been known to him, he would have removed them without delay; but this was not what the petitioners desired. Samuel saw that their real motive was discontent and pride, and that their demand was the result of a deliberate and determined purpose. No complaint had been made against Samuel. All acknowledged the integrity and wisdom of his administration; but the aged prophet looked upon the request as a censure upon himself, and a direct effort to set him aside. He did not, however, reveal his feelings; he uttered no reproach, but carried the matter to the Lord in prayer and sought counsel from Him alone.

And the Lord said unto Samuel: "Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them. According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken Me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee." The prophet was reproved for grieving at the conduct of the people toward himself as an individual. They had not manifested disrespect for him, but for the authority of God, who had appointed the rulers of His people. Those who despise and reject the faithful servant of God show contempt, not merely for the man, but for the Master who sent him. It is God's words, His reproofs and counsel, that are set at nought; it is His authority that is rejected.

The days of Israel's greatest prosperity had been those in which they acknowledged Jehovah as their King--when the laws and the government which He had established were regarded as superior to those of all other nations. Moses had declared to Israel concerning the commandments of the Lord: "This is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people." Deuteronomy 4:6. But by departing from God's law the Hebrews had failed to become the people that God desired to make them, and then all the evils which were the result of their own sin and folly they charged upon the government of God. So completely had they become blinded by sin.

The Lord had, through His prophets, foretold that Israel would be governed by a king; but it does not follow that this form of government was best for them or according to His will. He permitted the people to follow their own choice, because they refused to be guided by His counsel. Hosea declares that God gave them a king in His anger. Hosea 13:11. When men choose to have their own way, without seeking counsel from God, or in opposition to His revealed will, He often grants their desires, in order that, through the bitter experience that follows, they may be led to realize their folly and to repent of their sin. Human pride and wisdom will prove a dangerous guide. That which the heart desires contrary to the will of God will in the end be found a curse rather than a blessing.

God desired His people to look to Him alone as their Law-giver and their Source of strength. Feeling their dependence upon God, they would be constantly drawn nearer to Him. They would become elevated and ennobled, fitted for the high destiny to which He had called them as His chosen people. But when a man was placed upon the throne, it would tend to turn the minds of the people from God. They would trust more to human strength, and less to divine power, and the errors of their king would lead them into sin and separate the nation from God.

Samuel was instructed to grant the request of the people, but to warn them of the Lord's disapproval, and also make known what would be the result of their course. "And Samuel told all the words of the Lord unto the people that asked of him a king." He faithfully set before them the burdens that would be laid upon them, and showed the contrast between such a state of oppression and their present comparatively free and prosperous condition. Their king would imitate the pomp and luxury of other monarchs, to support which, grievous exactions upon their persons and property would be necessary. The goodliest of their young men he would require for his service. They would be made charioteers and horsemen and runners before him. They must fill the ranks of his army, and they would be required to till  his  fields, to reap  his  harvests, and to manufacture implements of war for  his  service. The daughters of Israel would be for confectioners and bakers for the royal household. To support his kingly state he would seize upon the best of their lands, bestowed upon the people by Jehovah Himself. The most valuable of their servants also, and of their cattle, he would take, and "put them to his work." Besides all this, the king would require a tenth of all their income, the profits of their labor, or the products of the soil. "Ye shall be his servants," concluded the prophet. "And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the Lord will not hear you in that day." However burdensome its exactions should be found, when once a monarchy was established, they could not set it aside at pleasure. But the people returned the answer, "Nay; but we will have a king over us; that we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles."

"Like all the nations." The Israelites did not realize that to be in this respect unlike other nations was a special privilege and blessing. God had separated the Israelites from every other people, to make them His own peculiar treasure. But they, disregarding this high honor, eagerly desired to imitate the example of the heathen! And still the longing to conform to worldly practices and customs exists among the professed people of God. As they depart from the Lord they become ambitious for the gains and honors of the world. Christians are constantly seeking to imitate the practices of those who worship the god of this world. Many urge that by uniting with worldlings and conforming to their customs they might exert a stronger influence over the ungodly. But all who pursue this course thereby separate from the Source of their strength. Becoming the friends of the world, they are the enemies of God. For the sake of earthly distinction they sacrifice the unspeakable honor to which God has called them, of showing forth the praises of Him who hath called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9.

With deep sadness Samuel listened to the words of the people; but the Lord said unto him, "Hearken unto their voice, and make them a king." The prophet had done his duty. He had faithfully presented the warning, and it had been rejected. With a heavy heart he dismissed the people, and himself departed to prepare for the great change in the government.

Samuel's life of purity and unselfish devotion was a perpetual rebuke both to self-serving priests and elders and to the proud, sensual congregation of Israel. Although he assumed no pomp and made no display, his labors bore the signet of Heaven. He was honored by the world's Redeemer, under whose guidance he ruled the Hebrew nation. But the people had become weary of his piety and devotion; they despised his humble authority and rejected him for a man who should rule them as a king.

In the character of Samuel we see reflected the likeness of Christ. It was the purity of our Saviour's life that provoked the wrath of Satan. That life was the light of the world, and revealed the hidden depravity in the hearts of men. It was the holiness of Christ that stirred up against Him the fiercest passions of falsehearted professors of godliness. Christ came not with the wealth and honors of earth, yet the works which He wrought showed Him to possess power greater than that of any human prince. The Jews looked for the Messiah to break the oppressor's yoke, yet they cherished the sins that had bound it upon their necks. Had Christ cloaked their sins and applauded their piety, they would have accepted Him as their king; but they would not bear His fearless rebuke of their vices. The loveliness of a character in which benevolence, purity, and holiness reigned supreme, which entertained no hatred except for sin, they despised. Thus it has been in every age of the world. The light from heaven brings condemnation on all who refuse to walk in it. When rebuked by the example of those who hate sin, hypocrites will become agents of Satan to harass and persecute the faithful. "All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." 2 Timothy 3:12.

Though a monarchical form of government for Israel had been foretold in prophecy, God had reserved to Himself the right to choose their king. The Hebrews so far respected the authority of God as to leave the selection entirely to Him. The choice fell upon Saul, a son of Kish, of the tribe of Benjamin. The personal qualities of the future monarch were such as to gratify that pride of heart which prompted the desire for a king. "There was not among the children of Israel a goodlier person than he." 1 Samuel 9:2. Of noble and dignified bearing, in the prime of life, comely and tall, he appeared like one born to command. Yet with these external attractions, Saul was destitute of those higher qualities that constitute true wisdom. He had not in youth learned to control his rash, impetuous passions; he had never felt the renewing power of divine grace.

Saul was the son of a powerful and wealthy chief, yet in accordance with the simplicity of the times he was engaged with his father in the humble duties of a husbandman. Some of his father's animals having strayed upon the mountains, Saul went with a servant to seek for them. For three days they searched in vain, when, as they were not far from Ramah, the home of Samuel, the servant proposed that they should inquire of the prophet concerning the missing property. "I have here at hand the fourth part of a shekel of silver," he said: "that will I give to the man of God, to tell us our way." This was in accordance with the custom of the times. A person approaching a superior in rank or office made him a small present, as an expression of respect. As they drew near to the city they met some young maidens who had come out to draw water, and inquired of them for the seer. In reply they were told that a religious service was about to take place, that the prophet had already arrived, there was to be an offering upon "the high place," and after that a sacrificial feast. A great change had taken place under Samuel's administration. When the call of God first came to him the services of the sanctuary were held in contempt. "Men abhorred the offering of the Lord." 1 Samuel 2:17. But the worship of God was now maintained throughout the land, and the people manifested an interest in religious services. There being no ministration in the tabernacle, sacrifices were for the time offered elsewhere; and the cities of the priests and Levites, where the people resorted for instruction, were chosen for this purpose. The highest points in these cities were usually selected as the place of sacrifice, and hence were called "the high places."

At the gate of the city Saul was met by the prophet himself. God had revealed to Samuel that at that time the chosen king of Israel would present himself before him. As they now stood face to face, the Lord said to Samuel, "Behold the man whom I spake to thee of! this same shall reign over My people."

To the request of Saul, "Tell me, I pray thee, where the seer's house is," Samuel replied, "I am the seer." Assuring him also that the lost animals had been found, he urged him to tarry and attend the feast, at the same time giving some intimation of the great destiny before him: "On whom is all the desire of Israel? Is it not on thee, and on all thy father's house?" The listener's heart thrilled at the prophet's words. He could not but perceive something of their significance, for the demand for a king had become a matter of absorbing interest to the whole nation. Yet with modest self-depreciation Saul replied, "Am not I a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel? and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? wherefore then speakest thou so to me?"

Samuel conducted the stranger to the place of assembly, where the principal men of the town were gathered. Among them, at the prophet's direction, the place of honor was given to Saul, and at the feast the choicest portion was set before him. The services over, Samuel took his guest to his own home, and there upon the housetop he communed with him, setting forth the great principles on which the government of Israel had been established, and thus seeking to prepare him, in some measure, for his high station. When Saul departed, early next morning, the prophet went forth with him. Having passed through the town, he directed the servant to go forward. Then he bade Saul stand still to receive a message sent him from God. "Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because Jehovah hath anointed thee to be captain over His inheritance?" As evidence that this was done by divine authority, he foretold the incidents that would occur on the homeward journey and assured Saul that he would be qualified by the Spirit of God for the station awaiting him. "The Spirit of Jehovah will come upon thee," said the prophet, and thou "shalt be turned into another man. And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee."

As Saul went on his way, all came to pass as the prophet had said. Near the border of Benjamin he was informed that the lost animals had been found. In the plain of Tabor he met three men who were going to worship God at Bethel. One of them carried three kids for sacrifice, another three loaves of bread, and the third a bottle of wine, for the sacrificial feast. They gave Saul the usual salutation and also presented him with two of the three loaves of bread. At Gibeah, his own city, a band of prophets returning from "the high place" were singing the praise of God to the music of the pipe and the harp, the psaltery and the tabret. As Saul approached them the Spirit of the Lord came upon him also, and he joined in their song of praise, and prophesied with them. He spoke with so great fluency and wisdom, and joined so earnestly in the service, that those who had known him exclaimed in astonishment, "What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?"

As Saul united with the prophets in their worship, a great change was wrought in him by the Holy Spirit. The light of divine purity and holiness shone in upon the darkness of the natural heart. He saw himself as he was before God. He saw the beauty of holiness. He was now called to begin the warfare against sin and Satan, and he was made to feel that in this conflict his strength must come wholly from God. The plan of salvation, which had before seemed dim and uncertain, was opened to his understanding. The Lord endowed him with courage and wisdom for his high station. He revealed to him the Source of strength and grace, and enlightened his understanding as to the divine claims and his own duty. The anointing of Saul as king had not been made known to the nation. The choice of God was to be publicly manifested by lot. For this purpose Samuel convoked the people at Mizpeh. Prayer was offered for divine guidance; then followed the solemn ceremony of casting the lot. In silence the assembled multitude awaited the issue. The tribe, the family, and the household were successively designated, and then Saul, the son of Kish, was pointed out as the individual chosen. But Saul was not in the assembly. Burdened with a sense of the great responsibility about to fall upon him, he had secretly withdrawn. He was brought back to the congregation, who observed with pride and satisfaction that he was of kingly bearing and noble form, being "higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward." Even Samuel, when presenting him to the assembly, exclaimed, "See ye him whom the Lord hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the people?" And in response arose from the vast throng one long, loud shout of joy, "God save the king!"

Samuel then set before the people "the manner of the kingdom," stating the principles upon which the monarchial government was based, and by which it should be controlled. The king was not to be an absolute monarch, but was to hold his power in subjection to the will of the Most High. This address was recorded in a book, wherein were set forth the prerogatives of the prince and the rights and privileges of the people. Though the nation had despised Samuel's warning, the faithful prophet, while forced to yield to their desires, still endeavored, as far as possible, to guard their liberties.

While the people in general were ready to acknowledge Saul as their king, there was a large party in opposition. For a monarch to be chosen from Benjamin, the smallest of the tribes of Israel--and that to the neglect of both Judah and Ephraim, the largest and most powerful--was a slight which they could not brook. They refused to profess allegiance to Saul or to bring him the customary presents. Those who had been most urgent in their demand for a king were the very ones that refused to accept with gratitude the man of God's appointment. The members of each faction had their favorite, whom they wished to see placed on the throne, and several among the leaders had desired the honor for themselves. Envy and jealousy burned in the hearts of many. The efforts of pride and ambition had resulted in disappointment and discontent.

In this condition of affairs Saul did not see fit to assume the royal dignity. Leaving Samuel to administer the government as formerly, he returned to Gibeah. He was honorably escorted thither by a company, who, seeing the divine choice in his selection, were determined to sustain him. But he made no attempt to maintain by force his right to the throne. In his home among the uplands of Benjamin he quietly occupied himself in the duties of a husbandman, leaving the establishment of his authority entirely to God.

Soon after Saul's appointment the Ammonites, under their king, Nahash, invaded the territory of the tribes east of Jordan and threatened the city of Jabesh-gilead. The inhabitants tried to secure terms of peace by offering to become tributary to the Ammonites. To this the cruel king would not consent but on condition that he might put out the right eye of every one of them, thus making them abiding witnesses to his power.

The people of the besieged city begged a respite of seven days. To this the Ammonites consented, thinking thus to heighten the honor of their expected triumph. Messengers were at once dispatched from Jabesh, to seek help from the tribes west of Jordan. They carried the tidings to Gibeah, creating widespread terror. Saul, returning at night from following the oxen in the field, heard the loud wail that told of some great calamity. He said, "What aileth the people that they weep?" When the shameful story was repeated, all his dormant powers were roused. "The Spirit of God came upon Saul. . . . And he took a yoke of oxen, and hewed them in pieces, and sent them throughout all the coasts of Israel by the hands of messengers, saying, Whosoever cometh nor forth after Saul and after Samuel, so shall it be done unto his oxen."

Three hundred and thirty thousand men gathered on the plain of Bezek, under the command of Saul. Messengers were immediately sent to the besieged city with the assurance that they might expect help on the morrow, the very day on which they were to submit to the Ammonites. By a rapid night march Saul and his army crossed the Jordan and arrived before Jabesh in "the morning watch." Like Gideon, dividing his force into three companies, he fell upon the Ammonite camp at that early hour, when, not suspecting danger, they were least secure. In the panic that followed they were routed with great slaughter. And "they which remained were scattered, so that two of them were not left together."

The promptness and bravery of Saul, as well as the generalship shown in the successful conduct of so large a force, were qualities which the people of Israel had desired in a monarch, that they might be able to cope with other nations. They now greeted him as their king, attributing the honor of the victory to human agencies and forgetting that without God's special blessing all their efforts would have been in vain. In their enthusiasm some proposed to put to death those who had at first refused to acknowledge the authority of Saul. But the king interfered, saying, "There shall not a man be put to death this day: for today the Lord hath wrought salvation in Israel." Here Saul gave evidence of the change that had taken place in his character. Instead of taking honor to himself, he gave the glory to God. Instead of showing a desire for revenge, he manifested a spirit of compassion and forgiveness. This is unmistakable evidence that the grace of God dwells in the heart.

Samuel now proposed that a national assembly should be convoked at Gilgal, that the kingdom might there be publicly confirmed to Saul. It was done; "and there they sacrificed sacrifices of peace offerings before the Lord; and there Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced greatly."

Gilgal had been the place of Israel's first encampment in the Promised Land. It was here that Joshua, by divine direction, set up the pillar of twelve stones to commemorate the miraculous passage of the Jordan. Here circumcision had been renewed. Here they had kept the first Passover after the sin at Kadesh and the desert sojourn. Here the manna ceased. Here the Captain of the Lord's host had revealed Himself as chief in command of the armies of Israel. From this place they marched to the overthrow of Jericho and the conquest of Ai. Here Achan met the penalty of his sin, and here was made that treaty with the Gibeonites which punished Israel's neglect to ask counsel of God. Upon this plain, linked with so many thrilling associations, stood Samuel and Saul; and when the shouts of welcome to the king had died away, the aged prophet gave his parting words as ruler of the nation.

"Behold," he said, "I have hearkened unto your voice in all that ye said unto me, and have made a king over you. And now, behold, the king walketh before you: and I am old and gray-headed; . . . and I have walked before you from my childhood unto this day. Behold, here I am: witness against me before the Lord, and before His anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you."

With one voice the people answered, "Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou taken ought of any man's hand."

Samuel was not seeking merely to justify his own course. He had previously set forth the principles that should govern both the king and the people, and he desired to add to his words the weight of his own example. From childhood he had been connected with the work of God, and during his long life one object had been ever before him--the glory of God and the highest good of Israel.

Before there could be any hope of prosperity for Israel they must be led to repentance before God. In consequence of sin they had lost their faith in God and their discernment of His power and wisdom to rule the nation--lost their confidence in His ability to vindicate His cause. Before they could find true peace they must be led to see and confess the very sin of which they had been guilty. They had declared the object of the demand for a king to be, "That our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles." Samuel recounted the history of Israel, from the day when God brought them from Egypt. Jehovah, the King of kings, had gone out before them and had fought their battles. Often their sins had sold them into the power of their enemies, but no sooner did they turn from their evil ways than God's mercy raised up a deliverer. The Lord sent Gideon and Barak, and "Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and ye dwelt safe." Yet when threatened with danger they had declared, "A king shall reign over us," when, said the prophet, "Jehovah your God was your King."

"Now therefore," continued Samuel, "stand and see this great thing, which the Lord will do before your eyes. Is it not wheat harvest today? I will call unto the Lord, and He shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the Lord, in asking you a king. So Samuel called unto the Lord; and the Lord sent thunder and rain that day." At the time of wheat harvest, in May and June, no rain fell in the East. The sky was cloudless, and the air serene and mild. So violent a storm at this season filled all hearts with fear. In humiliation the people now confessed their sin--the very sin of which they had been guilty: "Pray for thy servants unto the Lord thy God, that we die not: for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask us a king."

Samuel did not leave the people in a state of discouragement, for this would have prevented all effort for a better life. Satan would lead them to look upon God as severe and unforgiving, and they would thus be exposed to manifold temptations. God is merciful and forgiving, ever desiring to show favor to His people when they will obey His voice. "Fear not," was the message of God by His servant: "ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart; and turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain. For the Lord will not forsake His people."

Samuel said nothing of the slight which had been put upon himself; he uttered no reproach for the ingratitude with which Israel had repaid his lifelong devotion; but he assured them of his unceasing interest for them: "God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things He hath done for you. But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king."

Do you know how the world got its nations ? Back at Babel not so long after the Flood the grandsons of Noah began to build a big tower before God toppled it and gave each one another language. This is not more than 4000 years ago so not old at all.

What made mankind unite to build a big tower ? Who influenced humanity to waste their time constructing one big brick building ? Anyway God put an end to this endeavour and gave each one a new tounge so they could not understand each other.

Now every old nation served a plethora of gods and goddesses. Who were those ? And why the brutality of ancient humanity ? Observe how this has not changed a bit !

What is the problem with mankind ? Why this incessant warfare sex death and destruction ? What's up world ? Is life not short enough ?

What one cannot fail to understand by reading the Bible is that God will eventually put an end to evil. So how come people continue on and on committing crimes ?

Take a good look at our leaders ! Who do they serve ? Very often we get the leaders we deserve... have you ever thought of that ?

God is on a rescue mission only ! He bled and died for those who want to be saved from evil and sin. God gave us the free will to choose Him or ourselves or some other idol gods goddesses or whatever.

God is not going to beg us to choose Him but God is hoping we will... before our time is up.

I get the impression that everyone of significance works for the same boss (in one way or another) and that it's been that way for thousands of years. One can blame the Catholics, the British, the Jews, the Muslims, the Chinese, the Russians, the Reptilians, the Greys, the Elites, et al -- but ultimately it seems as if they all work for the same damn boss (willingly or unwillingly). I frankly think that Human-Nature really isn't that bad -- but that Humans can be used, misused, and led-astray rather easily. An Individual of Interest confirmed my suspicions regarding how easy this had been (going way, way back). They told me they had "always remained one step ahead of humanity".

    Ritual Human Sacrifice

"At that time the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jephthah, and he went throughout the land of Gilead and Manasseh, including Mizpah in Gilead, and led an army against the Ammonites. And Jephthah made a vow to the LORD. He said, "If you give me victory over the Ammonites, I will give to the LORD the first thing coming out of my house to greet me when I return in triumph. I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering."

"So Jephthah led his army against the Ammonites, and the LORD gave him victory. He thoroughly defeated the Ammonites from Aroer to an area near Minnith - twenty towns - and as far away as Abel-keramim. Thus Israel subdued the Ammonites. When Jephthah returned home to Mizpah, his daughter - his only child - ran out to meet him, playing on a tambourine and dancing for joy. When he saw her, he tore his clothes in anguish. "My daughter!" he cried out. "My heart is breaking! What a tragedy that you came out to greet me. For I have made a vow to the LORD and cannot take it back." And she said, "Father, you have made a promise to the LORD. You must do to me what you have promised, for the LORD has given you a great victory over your enemies, the Ammonites. But first let me go up and roam in the hills and weep with my friends for two months, because I will die a virgin." "You may go," Jephthah said. And he let her go away for two months. She and her friends went into the hills and wept because she would never have children. When she returned home, her father kept his vow, and she died a virgin. So it has become a custom in Israel for young Israelite women to go away for four days each year to lament the fate of Jephthah's daughter." Judges 11:29-40

    Rules of genocide...

Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods. In such cases, you must examine the facts carefully. If you find it is true and can prove that such a detestable act has occurred among you, you must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as well as all the livestock. Then you must pile all the plunder in the middle of the street and burn it. Put the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. That town must remain a ruin forever; it may never be rebuilt. Keep none of the plunder that has been set apart for destruction. Then the LORD will turn from his fierce anger and be merciful to you. He will have compassion on you and make you a great nation, just as he solemnly promised your ancestors. "The LORD your God will be merciful only if you obey him and keep all the commands I am giving you today, doing what is pleasing to him." (Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT)

    Gods blood lust…Baby Killing

"The glory of Israel will fly away like a bird, for your children will die at birth or perish in the womb or never even be conceived. Even if your children do survive to grow up, I will take them from you. It will be a terrible day when I turn away and leave you alone. I have watched Israel become as beautiful and pleasant as Tyre. But now Israel will bring out her children to be slaughtered." O LORD, what should I request for your people? I will ask for wombs that don't give birth and breasts that give no milk. The LORD says, "All their wickedness began at Gilgal; there I began to hate them. I will drive them from my land because of their evil actions. I will love them no more because all their leaders are rebels. The people of Israel are stricken. Their roots are dried up; they will bear no more fruit. And if they give birth, I will slaughter their beloved children." (Hosea 9:11-16 NLT)

    God kills the Good Samaritan

"The ark of God was placed on a new cart and taken away from the house of Abinadab on the hill. Uzzah and Ahio, sons of Abinadab guided the cart, with Ahio walking before it, while David and all the Israelites made merry before the Lord with all their strength, with singing and with citharas, harps, tambourines, sistrums, and cymbals." "When they came to the threshing floor of Nodan, Uzzah reached out his hand to the ark of God to steady it, for the oxen were making it tip. But the Lord was angry with Uzzah; God struck him on that spot, and he died there before God." (2 Samuel 6:3-7 NAB)

    Baby Bashing

"Happy those who seize your children and smash them against a rock." Psalms 137:9 NAB

    Child Beating

"He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him takes care to chastise him" (Proverbs 13:24 NAB)

"Chastise your son, for in this there is hope, but do not desire his death. The man of violent temper pays the penalty; even if you rescue him, you will have to do it again." (Proverbs 19:18-19 NAB)

God tells his people to Kill Followers of Other Religions

"If your own full brother, or your son or daughter, or your beloved wife, or you intimate friend, entices you secretly to serve other gods, whom you and your fathers have not known, gods of any other nations, near at hand or far away, from one end of the earth to the other: do not yield to him or listen to him, nor look with pity upon him, to spare or shield him, but kill him. Your hand shall be the first raised to slay him; the rest of the people shall join in with you. You shall stone him to death, because he sought to lead you astray from the Lord, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that place of slavery. And all Israel, hearing of this, shall fear and never do such evil as this in your midst." (Deuteronomy 13:7-12 NAB)

God demands Murder, Rape, and Pillage at Jabesh-gilead

"So they sent twelve thousand warriors to Jabesh-gilead with orders to kill everyone there, including women and children. "This is what you are to do," they said. "Completely destroy all the males and every woman who is not a virgin." Among the residents of Jabesh-gilead they found four hundred young virgins who had never slept with a man, and they brought them to the camp at Shiloh in the land of Canaan."

"The Israelite assembly sent a peace delegation to the little remnant of Benjamin who were living at the rock of Rimmon. Then the men of Benjamin returned to their homes, and the four hundred women of Jabesh-gilead who were spared were given to them as wives. But there were not enough women for all of them. The people felt sorry for Benjamin because the LORD had left this gap in the tribes of Israel. So the Israelite leaders asked, "How can we find wives for the few who remain, since all the women of the tribe of Benjamin are dead? There must be heirs for the survivors so that an entire tribe of Israel will not be lost forever. But we cannot give them our own daughters in marriage because we have sworn with a solemn oath that anyone who does this will fall under God's curse."

"Then they thought of the annual festival of the LORD held in Shiloh, between Lebonah and Bethel, along the east side of the road that goes from Bethel to Shechem. They told the men of Benjamin who still needed wives, "Go and hide in the vineyards. When the women of Shiloh come out for their dances, rush out from the vineyards, and each of you can take one of them home to be your wife! And when their fathers and brothers come to us in protest, we will tell them, 'Please be understanding. Let them have your daughters, for we didn't find enough wives for them when we destroyed Jabesh-gilead. And you are not guilty of breaking the vow since you did not give your daughters in marriage to them.'" So the men of Benjamin did as they were told. They kidnapped the women who took part in the celebration and carried them off to the land of their own inheritance. Then they rebuilt their towns and lived in them. So the assembly of Israel departed by tribes and families, and they returned to their own homes." (Judges 21:10-24 NLT)

David's Punishment More rape, murder and baby killing demanded by God

"Thus says the Lord: 'I will bring evil upon you out of your own house. I will take your wives (plural) while you live to see it, and will give them to your neighbor. He shall lie with your wives in broad daylight. You have done this deed in secret, but I will bring it about in the presence of all Israel, and with the sun looking down.'"
Then David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the Lord." Nathan answered David: "The Lord on his part has forgiven your sin: you shall not die. But since you have utterly spurned the Lord by this deed, the child born to you must surely die." (The child dies seven days later.) 2 Samuel 12:11-14 NAB

    Slave Beating

"When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property." Exodus 21:20-21 NAB

Sampson and the Spirit of the Lord

"The spirit of the Lord came upon him (Sampson), and he went down to Ashkelon, where he killed thirty of their men and despoiled them; he gave their garments to those who had answered his riddle." (Sampson used the garments to pay off a bet he lost.) Judges 14:19 NAB

Bloody Sabbath God demands death of man for gathering wood.

"While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was discovered gathering wood on the Sabbath day. Those who caught him at it brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly. But they kept him in custody, for there was no clear decision as to what should be done with him. Then the Lord said to Moses, "This man shall be put to death; let the whole community stone him outside the camp." So the whole community led him outside the camp and stoned him to death as the Lord had commanded Moses." Numbers 15:32-36 NAB

    Murder, Rape, Pillage, and Plunder

"As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you. But these instructions apply only to distant towns, not to the towns of nations nearby. "As for the towns of the nations the LORD your God is giving you as a special possession, destroy every living thing in them. You must completely destroy the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, just as the LORD your God has commanded you. This will keep the people of the land from teaching you their detestable customs in the worship of their gods, which would cause you to sin deeply against the LORD your God." Deuteronomy 20:10-18 NLT

Murder, rape and pillage of the Midianites

"They attacked Midian just as the LORD had commanded Moses, and they killed all the men. All five of the Midianite kings - Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba - died in the battle. They also killed Balaam son of Beor with the sword. Then the Israelite army captured the Midianite women and children and seized their cattle and flocks and all their wealth as plunder. They burned all the towns and villages where the Midianites had lived. After they had gathered the plunder and captives, both people and animals, they brought them all to Moses and Eleazar the priest, and to the whole community of Israel, which was camped on the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River, across from Jericho."

"Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the people went to meet them outside the camp. But Moses was furious with all the military commanders who had returned from the battle. "Why have you let all the women live?" he demanded. "These are the very ones who followed Balaam's advice and caused the people of Israel to rebel against the LORD at Mount Peor. They are the ones who caused the plague to strike the LORD's people. Now kill all the boys and all the women who have slept with a man. Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves." Numbers 31:7-18 NLT

Burning of temple at Baal (There's nothing like a good church barbeque.)

"Then Jehu called a meeting of all the people of the city and said to them, "Ahab hardly worshiped Baal at all compared to the way I will worship him! Summon all the prophets and worshipers of Baal, and call together all his priests. See to it that every one of them comes, for I am going to offer a great sacrifice to Baal. Any of Baal's worshipers who fail to come will be put to death." But Jehu's plan was to destroy all the worshipers of Baal. Then Jehu ordered, "Prepare a solemn assembly to worship Baal!" So they did. He sent messengers throughout all Israel summoning those who worshiped Baal. They all came and filled the temple of Baal from one end to the other. And Jehu instructed the keeper of the wardrobe, "Be sure that every worshiper of Baal wears one of these robes." So robes were given to them"

"Then Jehu went into the temple of Baal with Jehonadab son of Recab. Jehu said to the worshipers of Baal, "Make sure that only those who worship Baal are here. Don't let anyone in who worships the LORD!" So they were all inside the temple to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings. Now Jehu had surrounded the building with eighty of his men and had warned them, "If you let anyone escape, you will pay for it with your own life."

"As soon as Jehu had finished sacrificing the burnt offering, he commanded his guards and officers, "Go in and kill all of them. Don't let a single one escape!" So they killed them all with their swords, and the guards and officers dragged their bodies outside. Then Jehu's men went into the fortress of the temple of Baal. They dragged out the sacred pillar used in the worship of Baal and destroyed it. They broke down the sacred pillar of Baal and wrecked the temple of Baal, converting it into a public toilet. That is what it is used for to this day." 2 Kings 10:18-27 NLT

    Saul’s Kindness???

Saul sent this message to the Kenites: "Move away from where the Amalekites live or else you will die with them. For you were kind to the people of Israel when they came up from Egypt." So the Kenites packed up and left. Then Saul slaughtered the Amalekites from Havilah all the way to Shur, east of Egypt. (1 Samuel 15:6-7 NLT)

    Genocide

During this period, Joshua destroyed all the descendants of Anak, who lived in the hill country of Hebron, Debir, Anab, and the entire hill country of Judah and Israel. He killed them all and completely destroyed their towns. Not one was left in all the land of Israel, though some still remained in Gaza, Gath, and Ashdod. So Joshua took control of the entire land, just as the LORD had instructed Moses. He gave it to the people of Israel as their special possession, dividing the land among the tribes. So the land finally had rest from war. (Joshua 11:21-23 NLT)

God hardens hearts and makes people fight the Israelites only to be slaughterd..

So Joshua conquered the entire region – the hill country, the Negev, the land of Goshen, the western foothills, the Jordan Valley, and the mountains and lowlands of Israel. The Israelite territory now extended all the way from Mount Halak, which leads up to Seir, to Baal-gad at the foot of Mount Hermon in the valley of Lebanon. Joshua killed all the kings of those territories, waging war for a long time to accomplish this. No one in this region made peace with the Israelites except the Hivites of Gibeon. All the others were defeated. For the LORD hardened their hearts and caused them to fight the Israelites instead of asking for peace. So they were completely and mercilessly destroyed, as the LORD had commanded Moses. (Joshua 11:16-20 NLT)

Whole Towns Murdered at the bequest of God

The Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the Negev, heard that the Israelites were approaching on the road to Atharim. So he attacked the Israelites and took some of them as prisoners. Then the people of Israel made this vow to the LORD: "If you will help us conquer these people, we will completely destroy all their towns." The LORD heard their request and gave them victory over the Canaanites. The Israelites completely destroyed them and their towns, and the place has been called Hormah ever since. (Numbers 21:1-3 NLT)

    God’s psychotic Wrath

Weep and moan, you evil shepherds! Roll in the dust, you leaders of the flock! The time of your slaughter has arrived; you will fall and shatter like fragile pottery. You will find no place to hide; there will be no way to escape. Listen to the frantic cries of the shepherds, to the leaders of the flock shouting in despair, for the LORD is spoiling their pastures. Peaceful meadows will be turned into a wasteland by the LORD's fierce anger. He has left his den like a lion seeking its prey, and their land will be made desolate by the sword of the enemy and the LORD's fierce anger. (Jeremiah 25:34-38 NLT)

    God Slaughters countless people

In that day those the LORD has slaughtered will fill the earth from one end to the other. No one will mourn for them or gather up their bodies to bury them. They will be scattered like dung on the ground. (Jeremiah 25:33 NLT)

The Cup of Anger God incites hate and anger

Then the LORD, the God of Israel, said to me, "Take from my hand this cup filled to the brim with my anger, and make all the nations to whom I send you drink from it. When they drink from it, they will stagger, crazed by the warfare I will send against them." (Jeremiah 25:15-16 NLT)

    Complete Destruction

And now the LORD Almighty says: Because you have not listened to me, I will gather together all the armies of the north under King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, whom I have appointed as my deputy. I will bring them all against this land and its people and against the other nations near you. I will completely destroy you and make you an object of horror and contempt and a ruin forever. I will take away your happy singing and laughter. The joyful voices of bridegrooms and brides will no longer be heard. Your businesses will fail, and all your homes will stand silent and dark. This entire land will become a desolate wasteland. (Jeremiah 25:8-11 NLT

God was to be born into the line of Israel son of Isaac son of Abraham and so it was natural that God tried to raise Israel up as a godly zero tolerance for sin nation.

And as can be read in the Bible that was not an easy task and in fact a constant struggle between God and Israel which name means "struggle with God".

Now who was in charge of the other nations ? Not God ! So who enticed the other nations to not only sin but make a living of it ?

There are several instances in the Bible where we see the justice of God in action which some call karma. God got to recompense both good and evil and that makes God just !

My theory is that the Original God of This World was replaced by a Substitute God of This World many thousands of years ago (but I'm not sure when exactly). I'm frankly almost to the point of looking to a Clean-Sheet of Paper Approach to Theology and Governance. Perhaps I should set out to develop a Modified Crystal-Cathedral Modus-Operandi. All of the historical madness might've been necessary (in one way or another) -- but should we really base our civilization upon Highly-Problematic and Largely-Unverifiable Ancient-Texts?? I get tired of arguing about the absurd (in sort of a delusion v delusion miasma). Perhaps my accommodating Minimalist-Traditionalist approach is a waste of time (attempting to place new-wine in old-wineskins). I certainly would not wish to meddle with anyone's Cherished-Madness. Why argue with such a Happy-History?? Perhaps I should simply Move-On after Washing My Hands, and Shaking the Dust Off My Shoes.

What about the concept of studying the whole Bible -- but only quoting the Old Testament?? What about focusing on the following??

    1. Genesis.
    2. Job.
    3. Psalms.
    4. Proverbs.
    5. Isaiah.
    6. Daniel.

I know this will make my critics go nuts BUT what if the following list might approximate how the Bible might properly be rewritten in modernity (utilizing the writings of Ellen White)??

    1. Patriarchs and Prophets.
    2. Prophets and Kings.
    3. Desire of Ages.

Further -- imagine these three books being taught by Delenn (as the Reincarnation of Ellen White!) in the context of Babylon 5 in 2258 AD!!! Think long and hard about this concept after you stop laughing!!! Once again, I'm treating all of this as Sirius Science-Fiction!! Consider studying the Bible -- Mithraism -- and Egyptology -- Side by Side (especially watching for overlaps and commonalities)!! I realize that the Vatican has had all of this madness figured-out for centuries (but they've pretty-much kept it to themselves). The Truth is Bad for Business!! The internet has changed a lot of things -- but I worry that the Exposed PTB are in the process of becoming the equivalent of Cornered-Animals (and potentially much more dangerous than they've previously been). I am very pessimistic regarding things improving (in a sustainable manner). Exposing the Bastards won't necessarily Rid Us of the Bastards. We might simply get New Bastards (who might be much worse). Think about it. One doesn't rise to the Top of the Pyramid by being Ethical and Nice. What if this is true throughout the Universe?? What if Being God is Nastier Than We Can Possibly Imagine?? What if the Orthodox View of God is Completely Fictitious?? What if Both Atheists and Believers Might Not Like the Real God?? What if Disclosure Relative to God Might be the Most Troubling and Disruptive Aspect of Disclosure?? I'm NOT Anti-God. I'm NOT Anti-Christ. I'm Anti-Bullshit. Sorry if I'm a Bull in a China-Closet. BTW -- How many of the Old-Testament quotes in the New-Testament are quoted out of context and/or for nefarious purposes?? What if the "prophecies" in the Psalms and Isaiah don't necessarily apply to The Greatest Story Ever Told?? What is the earliest Whole Old-Testament Commentary?? Why isn't the New-Testament essentially the Positive-Reinforcement of the Old-Testament?? Is the Self-Promotion of Jesus and Paul legitimate or suspect?? Does Paul devote more time promoting the Life of Christ -- or His Own Life?? How do Jesus and Paul treat God the Father (and the Holy Spirit)?? How do the Teachings of Jesus relate to the Lord Jesus Christ?? I've recently encountered two or three more Individuals of Interest -- but I don't wish to talk about them. At this point -- I never know who I'm REALLY dealing with -- and it's sort of creepy. I don't know how much more of the madness I can stand. I had more than enough of this several years ago. I frankly don't think any of these developments are good-things -- and I suspect that things are going to get worse and worse (for me anyway). Sometimes I wish I could just disappear into some Low-Level Research-Facility (and do some low-level research). I'm sick and tired of the Way Things Are (for me anyway).

I continue to think that the real truth about Humanity and This Solar System is veiled in layer after layer of half-truths and outright-lies. "The lie is different at every level". I hate to ask this -- but are the Writings of Ellen White "White-Lies" OR are they a Better Presentation of the Relationship Between God and Humanity?? I have provided multiple study-lists which I think should be taken very seriously by serious researchers (especially as a foundation for extrapolation). I continue to be fascinated by Sherry Shriner's 7-7-14 show. http://sherrytalkradio.com/ I am wary of Sherry -- but I think she knows a huge amount. I am very wary and suspicious of the Intertestamental-Period between Malachi and the New-Testament. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intertestamental_period

In Christianity, the intertestamental period was the period of time between the writings of the Hebrew Bible and the Christian New Testament texts. Traditionally, it is considered to be a roughly four hundred year period, spanning the ministry of Malachi (c. 420 BC), the last of the Old Testament prophets, and the appearance of John the Baptist in the early 1st century AD, almost the same period as the Second Temple period (530 BC to 70 AD). It is known by members of the Protestant community as the "400 Silent Years" because it is believed to have been a span where God revealed nothing new to his people.[1] However, most of the apocryphal or deuterocanonical books, accepted as scripture by Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy, were written during this time, so it is sometimes also referred to as the deuterocanonical period. This is also the time when many pseudopigrapha works were produced. An understanding of the events of the intertestamental period provides context for the New Testament.

The Medo-Persian Empire was established by Cyrus and lasted 207 years. Judah was under Persian rule for about 100 years.[2] The Medo-Persian Empire became a model to future empires in the delegation of power to local governments.[3] This could account for the timing of Cyrus the Great allowing the exiled Jews to return from Babylonian captivity[4]

The conquest of Alexander the Great in 330 BC not only brought the Jews under Grecian domination (see also Hellenistic Judaism) but also introduced the Greek language and ideas throughout the ancient world.[5] Due to Alexander's conquest, Hellenism was very prominent during the New Testament period. The Greek culture affected the Jews in particular. A lot of New Testament books of the Bible are letters written to the Hellenized Jews. There was no resisting the Greek culture. So powerful was this Hellenization that even after Rome conquered the Jews, the Greek culture continued within the Roman Empire.[6]

Alexander the Great reigned for a very short time from 336 BC to 323 BC. His father, Phillip II, king of Macedonia, had united the Greek states and attempted to invade Persia, but was killed in 336 BC. Alexander, 19, succeeded him and continued his father’s plans. In 334 BC, Alexander crossed the Hellespont, and soon met the Persian army. In 333 BC, he met Darius’ army in the mountains between Cilicia and Syria. The Persian army was almost defeated there. Alexander turned to conquer Tyre, all the way to Gaza. Jerusalem simply submitted to him. He conquered Egypt and built a city at the mouth of the Nile and named it Alexander after himself.

Alexander crossed the Euphrates River in 331 BC, and completely defeated the Persians in Arbela. Darius fled, but he was soon killed. In 330 BC, Alexander entered Babylon, and still traveled east to conquer and build cities. After conquering the Punjab area of India, he turned around, re-entering Babylon in 324 BC to make it his capitol. In 323 BC, he died from drinking too much ardent spirits at 32 years old. He had conquered the world in just 6 years.[7]

Alexander wrote a letter to the high priest and governor at Jerusalem, while besieging Tyre, demanding to send extra troops and supplies. Jaddua refused to do it. Jaddua formed a great procession of the priesthood. Jaddua marched at the front holding only the scriptures. Alexander saluted him and offered anything Jaddua wanted. Alexander granted that the people could plant crops on the sabbatic year, enjoy their own religion, and have a separate section of his city in Egypt. Alexander explained that he had a dream where Jaddua came to him to say that the Persians would fall before him.[8]

323-166 BC. After the death of Alexander, his kingdom was divided, and a struggle between the Ptolemies of Egypt and the monarchs of Syria ensued, resulting first in Egyptian, then in Syrian, rule over Judea.

The latter was a dark period in Jewish history, especially during the reign of Antiochus Epiphanes, the Syrian king, who committed many outrages against the Jews, sought to establish idolatry in Jerusalem (abomination of desolation), and defiled the Second Temple.

Antiochus Epiphanes, the father of Antiochus the Great, died leaving Antiochus hostage in Rome after the great battle of Magnesia. He grew up there and became fond of Roman fashion and Greek culture. Antiochus, using flattery and treachery, took the place of his nephew, Demetrius, as king even though he was not the rightful heir. Antiochus was said to be a vile person with no conscience about sacred and holy things. During his reign he set up a high priest named Jason, a Jew, who claimed to be Hellenized and believe in Greek religion. However, a second man, named Menelaus, offered the king a better bargain, and therefore, replaced Jason as high priest. He, also, called himself a Jew but did not heed the Jewish religion. He set up a Greek gymnasium in the holy city, Jerusalem, trying to Hellenize the Jews.[9]

After Antiochus was claimed to be dead, while trying to conquer Egypt, the Jews made an effort to overrule Menelaus, the high priest. However, when Antiochus heard of this he came back, and, believing that the Jews were rebelling, he killed thousands of their men, and stole items from the temple.[10] Later, Antiochus sent a general named Apollonius, to Jerusalem. He destroyed the temple, stealing objects and corrupting it with unclean animals and sacrifices to Greek gods.[11] Judas Maccabeus was appointed charge of the army. He conquered Edom and helped in oppressing Judah. Judas defeated Antiochus’ army. When Antiochus heard this he was grief-stricken. He decided since he was near death he would crown his friend Philip ruler of his kingdom.[12]

Under Maccabees and Hasmonean dynasty 166 BC - 63 BC, spreading teaching of unity of God, messianic hope and Scriptures.

Antiochus' activity led to the Maccabean revolt, 166 BC in which the priest Matthias and his sons defeated the Syrians in a series of battles, which secured the independence of the province of Judea.

This was the foundation of the Hasmonean dynasty, which reigned from 166 - 63 BC.

The Hasmonean dynasty's main proponent was Judas Maccabees. While Judas was in power, Menelaus was appointed as high priest by the Syrian king. The Syrian king sent an army against Judas. Judas met this army with 3,000 men who had advised him not to fight. Nevertheless, Judas fought and was defeated. Judas advised Antiochus to make peace. Peace was made with this condition: the Jews were free to practice their religion, but they remained under Syria.[13] Judas eventually defeats the Syrian general and brings the spoils to Jerusalem. Demetrius sent a great army against him he had 22,000 men while Judas had 3,000 men. Judas’ men left him and only 800 men remained.[14]) He then asked Rome to enter a treaty with him but he died in the battle before the news arrived.[15] His brother Jonathan was then appointed king and he joined with Alexander in the war to become the ruler of Syria. To further strengthen himself, Alexander entered a peace treaty with Ptolemy in which he gave his daughter Cleopatra to Alexander. Ptolemy wants to become the ruler of the Seleucids therefore he ended this treaty. Trypho, a minister and general to Alexander, invited Jonathan over. He killed Jonathan’s 1,000 men and put Jonathan in prison because he wanted to become king, and Jonathan was in his way.[16]

In 63 BC, Pompey of Rome conquered Jerusalem, putting all of Judea under Roman control. This eventually led to Herod the Great being made King of the Jews by the Roman senate. This would be the nation that taxed and controlled the Jews, and eventually executed Jesus on a Roman cross, see Responsibility for the death of Jesus for details. Roman, Greek, and Hebrew cultures (and others) were now mixed together in Judea and in the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire is commonly associated with the establishment of stable government, uniform laws, and Roman roads, water and sewerage systems. Nevertheless, there was an uprising at the Census of Quirinius and several Roman-Jewish Wars before the region was finally fully subjugated and renamed Syria Palaestina in AD 135.

In 44 BC, Rome was turned into a madhouse. This was caused by the assassination of Julius Caesar in the Roman Senate. There were 60 senators led by Brutus and Cassias who committed the murder. Antipater was raising an army to help Brutus and Cassias, but the Jews poisoned him in 43 BC. Octavius and Antony defeated Brutus and Cassias, but Brutus and Cassias committed suicide.[17]

Herod the Great reigned from 37 BC to 4 BC. He married an Hasmonean princess before he captured Jerusalem. Herod had to kill his beautiful wife because she was getting tortured by Herod’s sister and his Arabian mother. This was the only woman that he truly loved, and he married many women. He also had to murder the two sons of that wife. He always felt guilty for murdering her. Herod also put to death 43 members of the Sanhedrin because they had summoned him to a trial.[18]

In Caesarea and Samaria Herod erected many heathen temples. Herod’s greatest exploit was the rebuilding of the temple, known as Herod's Temple. The building of it began in 20 BC and it was completed in 65 AD. Five years before it was destroyed. His temple was far superior to both the Solomonic and Zerubbabelian temples.[19]

Herod also committed many more murders in his lifetime. In 28 BC Herod killed another one of his wives, and one year later he killed his own beloved mother. Because of all Herod’s murders Octavius said “it is safer to be Herod’s swine than his son”. In 4 BC Herod is said to have slaughtered the infants of Bethlehem in an effort to destroy a future “King of the Jews”.[20]

There is a created cherub who wants humanity to go down damnation road with him. And he is the core source and problem of evil on earth and is the head and heart of the pyramide of power in the world.

In other words an international elite of evil men and women do his bidding and that is why the world is so full of crime and corruption death and destruction.

So to be born and grow up on earth is easy to loose innocence and innocence lost is not possible to restore unless God restores it for us.

So the only solution for every sin and sinner is God so seek Him give God a chance invite Him after all God is our eternal Parent and wants to know each and everyone of us. So stop by and spend time not only a day or a minute and see how things turn out alright as if by itself like some kind of magic.

Oh and God is Jesus so no confusion about that.

I'm just not seeing any of the players in this solar system as being Almighty God. What if the Chief Princes in Conflict are Gabriel and Michael?? What if both of them have seen better days as Magnificent Angelic Warriors who fought side by side throughout the universe -- establishing a Universal Kingdom of God?? But what if Michael sided with the Humans (or at least defended them in some way) and was deposed, exiled and/or executed?? What if Gabriel ended up being at war with Headquarters and Humanity -- and went downhill (possibly blaming Fallen-Sinful Human-Nature)?? What if Michael has been hidden for thousands of years (and has shriveled into a Shelluva-Guy through disillusionment, disgust, and despondency)?? I have no idea if any of this is the case -- but shouldn't we consider as many possibilities as possible, instead of just parroting the party-line (which varies from race to race -- country to country -- and religion to religion)?? I still think that Job through Daniel (KJV) should be read straight-through (over and over). What if such a practice has been neglected by ALL Religions?? I still think there needs to be some sort of a Public Solar System Trial (but I have no idea how this might be properly done). I continue to feel hamstrung and horrible. I continue to know that I don't know. I am inclined to remain Responsibly-Neutral (pending further revelations and clarifications). I don't trust Anyone or Anything (Including God and the Bible). I don't think we are presently dealing with the Real-Deal (in either case). "O Wretched Man That I Am!"

Jesus is God Almighty so if you don't see it you are unfortunately not alone. In fact most of the world don't know because most of the world is not interested in evidence besides the international elite governing the world are actively antichrists substituting truths for lies which the world end up believing.

Soon this Bible verse below will come to pass and is not the world already conditioned to accept "aliens" as our space siblings ?

God the Creator of the universe seen and unseen is of course the Core Consciousness of the universe also known as the Great I Am.

Man is not God but made in the image of God and as God man got body soul and spirit. So are you one or three ? You are of course one and so is God !

One of my concerns is that Minor-Deities could misrepresent themselves as being God Almighty. Another concern is that a world could be attacked, defeated, and occupied by Illegitimate-Invaders (who might depose, exile and/or execute the Legitimate-Leader).

Regardless of the Variety of Lie -- the Message Always Seems to be "Screw the Humans." Everything always ends up being some sort of a Power-Struggle. What if there were a church which focused upon Astronomy and Music -- and just left everything else alone (at least in their public presentations and discussions)?? When I belonged to the Los Angeles Astronomical Society (with meetings at the Griffith Observatory) -- we had "Star-Parties" on the outskirts of LA -- complete with Classical-Music. Perhaps that sort of thing isn't such a bad idea. What Would Dr. Krupp Say?? BTW -- I just refused to talk to the JW's. I previously told them NOT to come back (in person) -- and I followed that up with a call to their office (with the same message) -- but guess what?? They came back anyway!! It reminded me of the sci-fi movies where the monster keeps coming back!!

Somebody some super rich guys got an idea that humanity is too much hassle and so they set out a plot to solve the problem which is us poor people. In other words we are in perpetual war with the very wealthy of the world.

You may not know that you are in war but soon it will come around to you as well.

I don't know how much of it is true BUT The Gods of Eden by William Bramley really got my attention. I still think that someone has been running this solar system for thousands of years -- and that they don't like humanity (for legitimate or illegitimate reasons -- I know not). I think I've stumbled into a nasty Galactic Civil-War -- and I have NO Idea what's REALLY going on. I speculate and talk-big -- but I have no clue regarding the true state of affairs. I think there is probably a Grand-Plan for this solar system which does NOT have a Happy-Ending for Humanity. I guess my tentative plans are to work toward things working out well for all-concerned -- but without knowing much of significance -- how can I responsibly and properly proceed??

God also wrote His story in the stars in the motion of planets on the backdrop of the constellations. And the star of Bethlehem shows that our Creator not only created a universe of clockwork order but already knew down to the minute when He would be born as a Man to cover for man on the cross even before swirling the creation into existence as His story in the stars testify to us.
