When the earth is ravaged and the animals are dying,

a new tribe of people shall come unto the earth from many colors, classes, creeds,

and who by their actions and deeds shall make the earth green again.

They will be known as the warriors of the Rainbow

Some time in the future, the Indians said, the animals would begin to disappear.

People would no longer see the wolf, or the bear, or the eagles.

And, the story goes, the giant trees would also disappear.

And people would fight with each other and not love each other.

And, the story goes, the beautiful rainbow in the sky would fade away,

and people would not see the rainbow anymore.

Well, children would come.

And these children would love the animals, and they would bring back the animals.

They would love trees, and they would bring back the giant trees.

And these children would love other people

and they would help people to live in peace with, each other.

And these children would love the rainbow,

and they would bring back the beautiful rainbow in the sky.

For this reason the Indians called these children the rainbow warriors.

Now let me ask you a question.

Do you love animals or hate animals? (We love animals.)

Do you love trees or hate trees? (We love trees.)

Do you love people or hate people? (We love people.)

Do you love the rainbow or hate the rainbow? (We love the rainbow.)

Well, if you love animals and trees, people and rainbows,

then maybe you are the rainbow warriors?

A Pondering Moment:

By now many have heard the calling of the Rainbow Warrior unification.
The tasks that need to be done must be done throughout the world, not just in Turtle Island.
If you have heard the calling, then there will be others in your area that are wanting to do what is needed.
Get together and form your group and we all will beginning to do them together.
My group is starting in March, just before the season of growth and rejuvenation.
It would be great to see all groups starting together throughout the four corners of Mother Earth.

Be in prayer daily, ask for God's guidance and prepare yourselves.
The time has come to do that which governments refuse to do.
Take the time now to understand the scope of all we need to do.
Let us bring the environment back from destruction.
Let us stop the animal abuse, the slaughtering of the sacred horse, and end the wolf hunts.
For those that remain in cities, you can still help.
Form groups to be in contact with governments.
For those in smaller towns, form groups to be in contact with local officials.
For those that are willing to go off the grid and live off the land,
form your groups to replant the plants, trees, bushes, etc. t
hat is necessary for food to the natural habitats of the animals in your area.

Be warned, however, you will meet resistance.
Do not be swayed or undeterred in your task.
You are doing this for a far greater purpose than that of a mere few.
We will begin to bring back balance.
Educate those who will listen about what is needed.
May God, The Creator be with you,
and may each step you take from this day forward be in prayer.

Great Spirit, Almighty Healer and Creator of all things,
it is with humbled hearts that we unite together as one to offer us so many thanks.

We thank you for the swirled clouds as if they have been brushed on a fine blue canvas.

We thank you for the horses as they gallop through the plains.

We thank you for the wolf as he watches and protects us when we are in need.

We thank you for the raven that delivers us messages as in the days of old.

We thank you for our dreams that serve to bring signs during our slumber.

We thank you for the music of the grasshopper during the day, and the cricket during the evening hours.

We ask for an end to the selfishness and the possessiveness that has found its way to many hearts.

We ask for an era of peace, where borders no longer exist
and the people are free to move about the lands as they originally had.

We ask for an end to materialism, lust of power
and corruption found within the walls of our governments.

We ask for an end to the division within the four colors
so we are able to unite together to follow your guidance.

We ask for a greater rebirth of the spirit as more begin to understand
how connected we truly are to each other.

We ask for an end to wars and hostilities that prevent us from being caretakers
of all of your creation, where the violence has destroyed the innocent
and the lands that surround them.

We ask for your light to pierce the darkness that surrounds us during this time of turmoil.

We ask for mercy for all that have strayed from you and the paths you have given us.

We ask for an end to the violence and abuse of our women, children and domestic animals.

For those that have been abducted, we ask for their safe return.

For those that have been incarcerated unjustly, we ask for their freedom.

We ask for you protection, strength and guidance for those that will follow your guidance
and protect and heal our Earth Mother.

We thank you for our Elders that bring us the lessons of the present and the wisdom of our ancestors.

We thank you for our Children that continue to show us lessons we have long forgotten.

We thank you for our daily food and ask for its blessing.

We thank you for the rushing waters that give us the hydration of our bodies.

We thank you for the air to breathe.

We thank you for the knowledge that we are born of the Earth
and we are connected to her.

From Mother Earth we are created.

The elements that comprise the human body are Oxygen, Carbon, Hydrogen, Calcium, Sodium, Lead, Copper and Potassium.

All are the elements found within Mother Earth.

Which leads one to believe the creation of man in Genesis of the Holy Bible.

Also significant is that since we are created from the Mother Earth,
we are also a part of her.

Whatever brings harm to our bodies, would bring harm to her.

We are connected to each other.

If our bodies were constantly injured by cuts and holes over a period of time,
we would eventually bring destruction to our flesh.

We have the ability to cure ourselves, as does our Earth Mother.

But time is necessary to heal.

If we are constantly taking blood out of our bodies,
cutting into our flesh, digging into the body with unsanitized hands,
the body would eventually die.

Now think of what we are doing today with the constant pumping of oil,
fraking, mining, and the pollution of the lands, air and water.

Whatever destruction we bring will ultimately bring death to the planet.

If we stop long enough she will begin to heal.

But there have been centuries of neglect and destruction wrought upon her,
and we need to take the time to assist in healing her.

Whatever destruction we bring to her,
will also bring to ourselves.

It is time to stop the madness
and be the caretakers we were tasked to be from the beginning.

Great Spirit, Almighty Healer and Creator of all things,
with humbled hearts we gather together to offer up many thanks.

We thank you for the flowing waters from the mountaintop
as it slowly makes its way to the valley below.

We thank you for the the mighty Eagle as it soars overhead.

We thank you for Brother Bear as he fishes for his food in the early morning hour.

We thank you for the song of the mourning dove as she perches upon the limb.

We thank you for the ants as they show us the importance of working together
to get the task done.

For the grace of the ocean waves as it rushes to the shoreline, we thank you.

We ask for mercy and forgiveness for those that are addicted to materialism,
power, wealth and those things that are harmful to our physical being.

We ask for an end to the wanton desire for nuclear power,
for it generates more harm to your creation than to our want for its energy.

We ask for an end to the division that separates the four colors.

We ask instead for a time of unity so we may begin to repair the damage
we have done to your creation.

We ask for an end to the abuse and killing of the defenseless animals that surround us.

We ask for veils of secrecy to finally open so that your light may penetrate the darkness of deceit.

We ask for all, like our Brother Leonard Peltier, who have been incarcerated unjustly,
to be granted freedom to return to their land and families.

We ask for an end to domestic violence and abuse being perpetrated
against our women and children.

We ask for protection and freedom for those of our children
that have been abducted.

We ask for great healing for those that are suffering through diverse diseases and disorders.

We ask for your guidance and strength as we stand against those
that continue to bring destruction upon your creation.

We thank you for our Elders that continue to bring us the lessons
of the present as well as the wisdom of the past.

We thank you for our children that will one day understand
all they have been given and pass them onto the next generation.

We thank you for our daily food and ask for its blessing.

We thank you for the air we breathe and the waters that hydrate our bodies.

We thank you for the awakening of spirits that are now forming as Rainbow Warriors
throughout Mother Earth to bring back balance.
