    Earthquake

    A 5.6 magnitude earthquake has hit off the coast of Hawaii's big island Tuesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

    The afternoon earthquake struck in the Pacific Ocean about 34 miles southeast of Pahala, Hawaii.

    Thank you for your post. We're all good. The quakes location was in the ocean on the other end of the island. It did rock the house a bit. We were so surprised and laughing.

    yup

    Growing up in Calif there were numerous quakes and we've gone through two 7s as well. The 7s are scary.. everything less is kind of fun.
