OK - I'm going to be sending out a Mass Emailer' that'll state that the URL / Address of the Forum will be changing to ;

Note that I hope this will be painless and quick although I know It likely won't. Be prepared for some Bumps - IE Login Issues, Graphics Issues, etc. but know this...

OK - So heres the straight skinny...
Once I set the SSL Certificate Registration in motion (Phase I) - It'll be set up for the URL that the Forum is currently under. Now while this is not a problem for setting up Our own DNS when I get to It in Phase II - I would like Our Original URL to reflect something better than ;
The mistsofavalon.catsboard.com one.
What I propose is a choice of the following alternatives to the one We currently have...
1. mistsofavalon.forumotion.com
Or
2. mistsofavalon.goodforum.net
That said - After I've given Ya'll a chance to weigh in and select one of them - I'll come back Online for 18:00 CST - Send a Mass Emailer to the Membership with the "NEWLY Picked" Original URL plus additional details about the changes afoot. This "NEWLY Picked" Original URL will be the URL to go to if Our Domain Name "themistsofavalon.net" has Issues.
Now as We get to Our own URL (themistsofavalon.net) in Phase II - Beforehand and until then - The "NEWLY Picked" Original URL ;
1. mistsofavalon.forumotion.com
Or
2. mistsofavalon.goodforum.net
Will be how We get to the Forum until the "themistsofavalon.net" URL is functional.

I'm going to relax the Upgrade schedule a bit.
That said - The next Phase is Phase II. In this Phase - We will be giving the Forum SSL Certification. This Certification will give the Forum the Secure Socket Layer Protection of an https:// prefix as opposed to the now considered NON-SECURE http:// prefix We became so used to in the past.
Once again though - That'll be tomorrow. We'll let the Dust settle on this Upgrade first.
