    Pris,
Yes you are right, chem-trails and cell phone towers do have direct impact on the environment. Both of those technologies are relative new compared to the amount of carbon we have been putting in the atmosphere in the last 120 years. Since the start of the industrial revolution coal, oil, and gas has been the fuel on which our leap of progress has been built. Steal factories churning out tons of pressed medals and beams that ship, train, and skyscraper builders have used to make everything from the supporting structures, to the engines have been manufactured, built, or produced. The hundred of millions of tons of coal; the billions of barrels of oil, and multi millions of cubit feet of gas have all resulted in one thing. Carbon. A tremendous amount of carbon that has established itself in upper atmosphere of our planet.

Have there been periods of high carbon in the atmosphere in the past? Yes. Those were times in which there was large volcano eruptions and other geologic differences than we have today. (Today meaning the last 13,000 years) The only thing that can account for the amount of carbon in our atmosphere today is what man has put there. That has been directly associated with he burning of fossil fuels. In the past 120 years, man has also been responsible for the removal of all the old growth trees. There are some forest left but even the rain forest in Brazil are being destroyed. A few years back I was in Honduras and I could not believe how few few trees there were. This was Central America. It should have been jungle.....and in places where they left it alone, jungle did return; but for the most part what trees were there were used for fuel to cook meals.

If I had my way, I would make solar panels cheap enough that even the poorest person in the poorest of poor countries could afford them and would use the power produced to provide for the essentials for their homes. (heating, cooking, lighting, etc). I want to believe that there are other technologies out there that are also going to be alternatives to oil, gas and coal but yet to see such make it to the market place. I hope and pray that we will see those changes in this life time.

In the meantime, we have to deal with extreme weather that has gotten bad and indications are is going to get worst.....until we drop our dependency on carbon based fuel. The Prince of Iran once said that oil was to precious a commodity to use as fuel for cars. Oil is used in manufacturing for 1000's of products. It's beyond time that we move the planet in a low carbon environment.

Just as a side note, I have not noticed as many chemtrails this summer as I have in years past.

Native Alaskan Village Forced to Move due to Climate Change
    Wednesday, August 24, 2016

The erosion of the shoreline of Alaska's Sarichef Island from rising sea levels has prompted the residents of the island's village of Shishmaref to decide to relocate, before their traditional island home is overcome by the sea.

Home to 650 Inupiat Inuit, Sarichef Island lies in the Chukchi Sea, just north of the Bering Strait, and like the rest of Alaska, is warming twice as fast as the contiguous states. Shishmaref is one of 31 Alaskan villages that are in danger from erosion and flooding, according to the US Government Accountability Office.

It is estimated that the relocation of Shishmaref could cost upwards of $180 million, but like many of the villages under threat, they may not qualify for the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Development Block Grant program, due to a lack of incorporation in their governing structures. The Department of the Interior has allocated $8 million for all communities that plan to relocate, although this is to be spread amongst the 12 villages that have already planned to move.

The residents of Shishmaref, as with other villages, are concerned over the potential impact the move may make on their traditional lifestyles. Regardless, the effect of rising ocean levels is dramatic, with the island having "lost about 100 feet" since 1997, according to resident Esau Sinnock: "In the past 15 years, we had to move 13 houses – including my dear grandma Edna's house – from one end of the island to the other because of this loss of land. Within the next two decades, the whole island will erode away completely." The steady loss of surface ice has also already impacted the islander's ability to hunt and fish, their primary source of food.

The United Nations Institute for Environment and Human Security and the International Organization for Migration estimates that climate change could displace as many as 200 million people worldwide by the middle of the century, although the residents of regions as far apart as Isle de Jean Charles, Louisiana, and villages in the Solomon Islands, are already facing this stark reality.

    8/30/2016
Ten years ago Richard Alley reported in his book Earth, the Operators Manual that in the USA the average use of crude oil gallons per person per year. If we added coal and natural gas to the mix, he estimates that around 15,500 pounds of fossil fuels per person were used per year, per person.  All of this produced about 44,000 pounds of carbon per person, per year. When we include the amount of carbon we dump into garbage dumps with all the junk we throw away, it adds another (about 1000 pounds of trash per person, per year) 200 pounds of carbon into our atmosphere.

All of the carbon has to go somewhere.  Due to deforestation, the trees cannot convert all of that carbon into O2 and a great deal of it ends up in the ocean. If you really want to see the canary in the coal mine then look at the reefs off the coast around the world.  They are dying.   Beautiful coral reefs are being bleached white and the thousands of fish that once lived there are gone.   We have removed perhaps 90% of the large fish from the oceans. We have no idea what the natural ocean ecosystem looked like because we fished out so many species before scientists could fully examine what was going on.

Water is essential but in many places the large fraction of the water used is not being replaced or can be replaced by rain or snow melt. So more is going out than is coming in. In  places where water was 200 feet below the surface, drills are sinking into 500 feet and deeper.  Something that has been going happening on an international level is starting to happen here.  Now corporations are trying to buy up municipal water systems because with that control, they can name whatever price they wish.

This material was released last year so it is not totally up to date as I would like.  If it were, I would suspect it show how much the oil industries are investing into the election of 2016.  If you deny global warming, then you get the money.  If you believe in 8th grade science, no contributions from big oil or coal goes to you.

Right along with what Big Oil is doing to our environment, you have other mega corporations that are trying to buy public water works so that can then sell you the water at a greatly inflated price. Water availability will be the next environmental crisis..... which has already started in some communities in the Western part of the USA

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2016/10/07/experts-said-arctic-sea-ice-would-melt-entirely-by-september-201/

Dire predictions that the Arctic would be devoid of sea ice by September this year have proven to be unfounded after latest satellite images showed there is far more now than in 2012.

Scientists such as Prof Peter Wadhams, of Cambridge University, and Prof Wieslaw Maslowski, of the Naval Postgraduate School in Moderey, California, have regularly forecast the loss of ice by 2016, which has been widely reported by the BBC and other media outlets.

Prof Wadhams, clown a leading expert on Arctic sea ice loss, has recently published a book entitled A Farewell To Ice in which he repeats the assertion that the polar region would free of ice in the middle of this decade.

As late as this summer, he was still predicting an ice-free September. Lmao

Yet, when figures were released for the yearly minimum on September 10, they showed that there was still 1.6 million square miles of sea ice (4.14 square kilometres), which was 21 per cent more than the lowest point in 2012.

For the month of September overall, there was 31 per cent more ice than in 2012, figures released this week from the National Snow and Ice Data Centre (NSIDC) show. This amounts to an extra 421,000 (1.09 million square kilometres) of sea ice, making the month only the fifth lowest since records began.

    Swanny,
    Thanks for the input.
Extreme weather means just that. From now on when we have cold weather, it will most likely be very cold. They will continue to have periods of cold weather in the Arctic. That will be followed by warming that will be warmer than usual.
The video below is not the best example, but I think one of our best sources of weather on what is happening in the far north by listening to what the locals have to say. Many Native Americans pay homage to the morning sun. This video reports that local folks are saying it is not raising in the same position that it came up for years. rating **
Once again, not the best example but it does raise an interesting question regarding s shift.

Massive Pool Of Boiling Carbon Discovered Under Western US

Posted on February 14, 2017 by Carol Adl

Scientists have discovered a massive pool of molten carbon stretching 1.8million square kilometres under the Western United States.

The massive reservoir, 350km beneath the earths surface with a temperatures of more than 1,000C and covering an area almost the size of Mexico, has cast doubts over previous estimates of carbon levels inside the Earth.

    RT reports:

The discovery was made by a team from the University of Royal Holloway London using the world’s largest array of seismic sensors that identified the carbon from vibrations generated in Earth’s upper mantle.

The reservoir is believed to have been formed when a Pacific tectonic plate was forced underneath the western US, according to the research published in Earth and Planetary Science Letters.

“It is a result of one of the tectonic plates of the Pacific Ocean forced underneath the western US, undergoing partial melting, thanks to gasses like CO2 and H2O contained in the minerals dissolved in it,” study author Dr Sash Hier-Majumder of Royal Holloway said in a statement.

Located 217 miles (350km) below the planet’s surface the reservoir is estimated to cover 695,000 sq miles (1.8 million sq km).

Following their research, the scientists say that the amount of carbon dioxide in the Earth’s upper mantle could be up to 100 trillion metric tons.

The carbon in the upper mantle isn’t expected to stay underground forever, instead it’s slowly making its way up to the surface via volcanic eruptions – adding to the carbon already being emitted into the atmosphere by humans.

“We might not think of the deep structure of the Earth as linked to climate change above us, but this discovery not only has implications for subterranean mapping but also for our future atmosphere,” Hier-Majumder added.

“Releasing only 1 percent of this CO2 into the atmosphere will be the equivalent of burning 2.3 trillion barrels of oil. The existence of such deep reservoirs shows how important is the role of deep Earth in the global carbon cycle.”
