"Maced Girl" Who Punched Trump Supporter May Be Charged By Police
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 04/01/2016

One of the truly remarkable things about Donald Trump's run for the White House is the extent to which he has proven to be immune to criticism.

In many ways, the GOP frontrunner is a living, breathing negative ad for himself. Whether you hate him or you love him, you hold your breath when he opens his mouth because you understand there's a decent chance something absolutely off the wall is about to come spilling out and you're never really sure whether this will be "the one" - the Trumpism that finally pushes too far beyond the sensibilities of even the most ardent supporters.

Incredibly, Trump still hasn't met his Waterloo. He's called Mexicans drug dealing rapists. He suggested that John McCain is a loser for getting himself captured in 'Nam. He's theoretically banned the world's fastest growing religion from North America. He's promised to tax Chinese imports at 40%. He's implied he'll force Mexico to built a giant cage around itself to keep its people from escaping. And now he's suggested that if abortion were illegal, he'd need to figure out the best way to punish women who break the law.

But here's the thing: it works.

Trump is onto something. Apparently, America's blood is boiling and "The Donald" has tapped right into a vein.

Now, the downtrodden masses - i.e. an electorate that's sick and tired of the entrenched political aristocracy inside the Beltway and utterly fed up with being told to "eat cake" by the legions of modern day Marie Antoinettes that flit around Capitol Hill and Mahogany Row with their thumbs glued to Blackberry scroll balls that went extinct on Main Street a half decade ago - are mainlining the Trump brand of political heroine. Millions of Americans are nationalists without even knowing it. They're speaking out against EM mercantilism without the slightest conception of what that means. And most importantly, they're prepared to bet two-and-a-half centuries of history on a campaign platform built on an appeal to one man's ad hoc version of Realpolitik.

Would a Trump presidency usher in a new era of American prosperity? Almost certainly not. But note we said "almost." A Clinton presidency will definitely not change anything. And neither would a Cruz presidency or a Kasich administration. In short, Americans know two things for sure at this point: 1) both Trump and Bernie Sanders would bring real (as opposed to Obama-brand) "change" to America; 2) Trump can win his party's nomination, while Bernie can't.

The takeaway: if you want real change, you vote Trump.

In short, by simply saying what a whole lot of people are thinking anyway, Trump has instilled his campaign with a degree of authenticity that's impossible for other candidates to emulate and that makes him virtually unstoppable save a misstep or two (or three) when someone like Chris Matthews presses him on specifics.

What the billionaire's detractors have failed to understand is that the only way to beat Trump is essentially to join him. That is, you have to show his support base that the establishment is prepared to address their concerns.

Simply insulting his intelligence and/or making a scene at his rallies will not only not work (there's a fun double negative), it will invariably backfire, which brings us full circle to what we said at the outset: Trump. Is. Teflon.

Need proof? Take the 15-year-old girl who quite a few people probably thought was set to become the pepper-sprayed face of the "peaceful" Trump protester movement. What was initially billed as an indiscriminate attack on an underage girl who, according to some reports, was being "groped" taharrush gamea-style by a gang of roudy neo-Trump-Nazis, quickly morphed into a far different story wherein a belligerent teenager, unable to tolerate what she perceived as an afront to American democracy, punches an old man in the face and then is pepper sprayed.

Now, authorities have recommended that someone file a disorderly conduct charge against the girl who insists that she "felt pressure on her breasts."

"Clearly her punch was illegal," police chief David Moore told reporters.

So once again, attempts to derail Trump have backfired in dramatic fashion. No longer is the headline "15-Year-Old Girl Pepper Sprayed By Trump Fanatics," it is now "Police Recommend Charge Against Girl At Trump Rally." From the AP:

Investigators said Thursday that they're recommending a disorderly conduct charge be filed against a 15-year-old girl who was pepper-sprayed after she punched a man at a rally for Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump in Wisconsin.

Video of the altercation shows a crowd of people in a parking lot outside the rally in Janesville on Tuesday. The girl can be seen holding an anti-Trump sign and arguing with a 59-year-old man.

The video shows the man turning away with his hands in the air. Seconds later, the girl punches him in the face. Another man wearing a red Trump hat then pepper-sprayed the girl and disappeared into the crowd.

The girl told police the first man groped her breast. But Chief David Moore told reporters during a news conference Thursday that additional video doesn't show any evidence the man groped her and that 12 out of 13 witnesses said they didn't see him do anything.

Moore said the man who was punched didn't want to press assault charges against the girl, but investigators have recommended juvenile authorities charge her with disorderly conduct for what he called "an act of violence." He said time passed between the alleged groping and the punching and the man and the girl were several feet apart when she threw the punch.

The chief said investigators won't pursue charges of filing a false police report against the girl. He said she genuinely believes she felt pressure on her breast. However, he said, quarters were tight and people were brushing up against one another throughout the crowd.

"Clearly her punch was illegal," he said.

NATO: Worse Than "Obsolete" - It's A Crony Capitalist's Dream
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 04/01/2016
NATO isn’t just an expensive luxury of the sort we can no longer afford – it is a tripwire that could be set off by a minor border conflict involving Moldova, the status of Kaliningrad, or – more likely – another round of hostilities in Ukraine. Would we start World War III in defense of the oligarchs of Kiev? I wouldn’t put it past them. With his plan – or, rather, inclination – to abandon the old NATO and replace it with some sort of multilateral counterterrorist operation, and his insistence that our “allies” pay up, Trump is forcing an issue onto the stage that hasn’t been seen since the days of Bob Taft.

Voter Fraud Alert: WI Voters, DO NOT CHECK THIS BOX!
Wisconsin is an open primary, which favors Donald Trump, who has a unique ability attracts voters who don’t typically vote for Republicans. However, voters this morning have noticed a very strange box on the ballot which is labeled “uninstructed delegation.”

What it means is – A voter who checks it doesn’t want a delegate assigned to any of the candidates. Those decisions will be left to the Wisconsin Republican Party, which is staunchly pro-Cruz. This option was added to the ballot to give the establishment one more opportunity to stop Trump.

Unbelievable that such underhanded methods keep coming up in this election. This makes me want to vote for Mr. Trump even more! There is so much corruption going on, this is exactly what Mr. Trump is up against and has been telling us about. This is just downright disgusting. The GOP has really sunken to a new low. Vote Trump, people, OR this is just another step towards the end of America. This latest tactic is just despicable. I guess “they” think WI voters are stupid. WI voters, prove “them” wrong! Trump 2016

I voted here in Wisconsin today and I have voted in every election for over 50 years and I couldn’t believe how rigid it is and the hopes I had to jump through to be able to vote. Registering to vote was one thing, voting was unbelieveable. When I registered I couldn’t use my passport but voting I had to produce it. WHAT IN HELL GIVES. I voiced my oppion load and clear that voting here in Wisconsin will soon be a thing of the past.

Who didn’t see something like this coming to Wisconsin?? The GOP Establishment is horrible beyond words. Instead of supporting Donald Trump they have disgraced this whole entire country’s voting privileges. UGH !

This is a disgrace beyond words. The GOP Establishment are rotten to the core. Mr. Trump is by far the best person for the job of President of the United States. Even if they should, by hook and crook, find a way to not nominate Mr. Trump, I will write-in his name and let the chips fall where they may.

To what voting fraud are you referring? The rules are the rules and they didn’t just change. Maybe you are new to the process? It can be surprising for the newcomer. My wife is a recently naturalized citizen voting in a major American election for the first time and she is boggled by our rules as well.

    Richardsays: April 5, 2016 at 12:36 pm
I think most of us will agree that no matter which side of the aisle you sit on, it is time for a big change in D.C. Our elected are not representing OUR interests they are representing THEIR interests and then spin it to sound like they are representing us. The underlying theme is the voter is too stupid so we need to think for them.

I suggest that their elitism on boths sides has so poisoned the democratic process that it is time to once again declare America is a republic, by the people and for the people. Vote your conscience but vote for the dismantling of the elitist regime in D.C. Get rid of the career politicos that make millions by subversion, corruption and deceit.
    VOTE FOR CHANGE IN 2016.

Calm down folks. Most Americans can’t even spell uninstructed much less have a clue to what it means. This ballot was probably developed by the same people that developed the IRS Tax Forms so that nobody, who isn’t a tax specialist, knows what it all means. Guaranteed that no voter will pick uninstructed as they don’t even know what it means and why it’s there.

Big news in the Hispanic community – Hispanic Patriots founder
[Dah-leeth] Dahlys Hamilton – a very well known and respected Hispanic leader has finally given up on Ted Cruz:

"I'M GETTING OFF "LYIN' TED'S" CRUZ SHIP AND BOARDING THE TRUMP TRAIN! After spending several months researching, and asking the Lord to reveal the truth to me about this election, when the revelations started coming, I really did not want to believe what I was uncovering. Ultimately, I had no choice but to admit I have been deceived--and so have many of you."

Hamilton organized an event in Georgia last year for Ted Cruz’s father, Rafael. Hamilton bashed both Ted and Heidi Cruz’s connections to the globalists, especially the North American Union:

“Keep in mind that "North America" does not refer to just the United States. North America includes the U.S., Mexico AND Canada. The North America Union (NAU) will strip us of our sovereignty!

“When Cruz talks about securing our borders, he is not referring to protecting the U.S. from our Mexican and Canadian borders, he is referring to the North American Union borders--around the perimeter of the newly formed union!

“Trump was right about LYIN' TED!

“If you want to know the truth about how the globalist puppet masters are positioning Ted & Heidi Cruz for a diabolical plot to open our borders to Mexico and Canada, please watch these videos. If you think we have problems now with our economy, liberty, illegals, and terrorism, and other threats to our nation, imagine the ensuing chaos!”

Ivanka Trump beams as she introduces The Donald to massive crowd
in New York just a week after giving birth to son Theodore

Ivanka Trump introduced her father to a massive crowd in his home city of New York on Wednesday. The 34-year-old, who recently gave birth, looked radiant as she reeled off a list of reasons voters should back Donald Trump for the Republican nomination.  She gushed about his 'refusal to take no for an answer' and his successes in various industries.

The 34-year-old gushed about her father's successes in business
She told the crowd it was 'not easy' leaving her newborn son at home
But she claims she only did it because this election is so important
Ivanka beamed at the crowds, her brothers Eric and Don were in the wings
Her sister Tiffany, brother Baron, and stepmom Melania were not there

'I'm excited tonight to introduce my father. There's a lot of things that make Donald Trump special to me, as a parent and as a mentor. But the most important is the strength of his character.

'As a young girl growing up my father always told me that I could do anything that I'd set my mind to. He meant it.'

She went on, gushing about the number of people her father has employed and 'inspired' - reminding the crowd that 'many of those people live right here in New York, where my father himself was born.'

As the crowd screamed Ivanka giggled, gave a thumbs up and mouthed 'love you' to her audience. She claimed her father motivates people 'to achieve the impossible'. And she said: 'My father has also succeeded at the highest level in a vast number of industries because the common denominator is him.'

Buoyed by the news of a new poll that showed him with a massive lead in his home state – 52 per cent of Republican primary voters told pollsters Trump was their pick – he gushed at the crowd that put him there.

'You know what makes me the happiest? When the people who know me the best – and boy, do you know me well! – when the people who know me the best think so much [of me] that they have poll numbers nobody can believe it,' he said.

'These are my people!': Trump's homecoming is yuuuge as 10,000 New Yorkers crowd into hangar
the size of a FOOTBALL FIELD to hear the GOP front-runner's greatest hits

Donald Trump delivered a stump speech for the ages on Wednesday night, a New York homecoming that saw an estimated 10,000 people shoehorn themselves into a Cold War spacecraft (main photo) testing hangar to hear their home town idol blast off. Trump, true to form, declared the crowd was 17,000 strong. Trump is poised to crush competition in New York as he controls 52 per cent of the vote - and more than half of Republicans say his controversies don't matter.

    Just the scary facts:

We now have too many Muslims in government.

John Brennan, current head of the CIA converted to Islam while stationed in Saudi Arabia.

Obama’s top adviser, Valerie Jarrett, is a Muslim who was born in Iran.

Hillary Clinton’s top adviser, Huma Abedin is a Muslim, whose mother and brother are involved with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

Assistant Secretary for Policy Development for Homeland Security, Arif Aikhan, is a Muslim.

Homeland Security Adviser, Mohammed Elibiary, is a Muslim.

Obama adviser and founder of the Muslim Public Affairs Council, Salam al-Marayati, is a Muslim..

Obama’s Sharia Czar, Imam Mohamed Magid, of the Islamic Society of North America is a Muslim.

Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships, Eboo Patel, is a Muslim.

1/13/15:?? Nancy Pelosi, she will appoint Rep Andre Carson, D-Ind, as the first Muslim lawmaker on the House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. It would make Carson the first Muslim to serve on the committee that receives intelligence on the threat of Islamic militants in the Middle East! He says U.S. schools should be modeled after Islamic madrasas, where education is based on the Quran!!!

And last but not least, our closet Muslim himself, Barack Hussein Obama.

Life Under President Trump: The Boston Globe's Front Page Satire
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 04/10/2016 11:22 -0400

One of the media's recurring laments used to explain Trump's success in the primaries, is all the unprecedented attention and coverage the New York billionaire gets for free from the press due to his "shock value." According to NYT calculations, Trump has received about $1.9 billion in free advertising equivalents. As of today, thanks to a curious attempt at satire by the Boston Globe, one can probably round that up to $2 billion.

This morning, in a world where increasingly more media outlets turn to The Onion as a thought leader, the Boston Globe published a satirical front page predicting headlines about a Donald Trump presidency one year from today, alongside a “Stop Trump” editorial.

The fake front page will be the lead of the Globe’s Sunday Ideas section and "is a work of political satire and commentary produced by the Globe's Editorial Board, not the newsroom,” Globe Editorial Page Editor Ellen Clegg wrote in an email.

The banner headline on the fake page, dated a year from Sunday, reads: “Deportations to begin, President Trump calls for tripling of ICE force; riots continue.” The page includes full, realistic articles about Trump’s actions as president (full page below).

The main story includes mentions of an Attorney General Chris Christie, and Fox News’ Megyn Kelly tweeting from a bar because she’s been placed on a White House black list. Other stories on the fake front page include “U.S. soldiers refuse orders to kill ISIS families” and details such as new libel laws targeting “absolute scum” in the press. Another story is about how Trump had offended the Chinese first lady by naming his new dog after her.

An editor’s note at the bottom of the page explains why the paper chose to create it.

"This is Donald Trump’s America. What you read on this page is what might happen if the GOP frontrunner can put his ideas into practice, his words into action. Many Americans might find this vision appealing, but the Globe’s editorial board finds it deeply troubling,” the editor’s note reads.
An editorial on the following page urges the GOP to stop Trump.
"The satirical front page of this section attempts to do just that, to envision what America looks like with Trump in the White House,” the editorial states. "It is an exercise in taking a man at his word. And his vision of America promises to be as appalling in real life as it is in black and white on the page. It is a vision that demands an active and engaged opposition. It requires an opposition as focused on denying Trump the White House as the candidate is flippant and reckless about securing it."

The editorial goes on to note the controversy surrounding Trump, including his “winks and nods” to violence at his rallies. "If Trump were a politician running such a campaign in a foreign country right now, the US State Department would probably be condemning him,” the editorial states.
The editorial ends with a warning that Sen. Ted Cruz, who is currently rallying Republicans behind him as the only candidate who could stop Trump from securing the GOP nomination, could be even more dangerous.

And while we commend the Globe's imagination, we wonder how many people actually change their minds as a result of such a media stunt, especially people who may wonder when comparable "hypothetical" headline pages will appear showcasing life under all the other potential presidential candidates and who may wonder if this is not just the latest example of media bias.  And speaking of that, recall this amusing incident from the $70 million 2013 sale of the Boston Globe to billionaire John Henry from the NYT, when as the Boston Herald then reported that a conservative San Diego media mogul alleged that he outbid Henry for The Globe and that the management of The New York Times did not accept his offer because they preferred to sell to someone who would continue the "liberal" editorial slant of The Globe. Mission accomplished?

Here is today's Globe's front page (pdf).

Why Hillary Clinton Cannot Beat Donald Trump
    By Tyler Durden

Submitted by Tyler Durden [1] on 02/25/2016

Submitted by Mike Krieger via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog, [13]
This morning, I read a fantastic article by Nathan J. Robinson in Current Affairs titled: Unless the Democrats Run Sanders, a Trump Nomination Means a Trump Presidency [14]. Several months ago, I would have disagreed with this statement, but today I think it’s entirely accurate.

One thing Clinton supporters remain in complete denial about (other than the fact most Americans who don’t identify as Democrats find her to be somewhere in between untrustworthy and criminal), is that a significant number of Sanders supporters will never vote for Hillary.Forget the fact that I know a few personally, I’ve noticed several interviews with voters who proclaim Sanders to be their first choice but Trump their second. Are they just saying this or do they mean it? I think a lot them mean it.
Mr. Robinson’s article is a brilliant deep dive into what a real life Trump vs. Clinton matchup would look like, not what clueless beltway wonks want it to look it. What emerges is a convincing case that the only person who could stand up to Trump and defeat him in November is Bernie Sanders. I agree.

So without further ado, here are a few excerpts:

Instinctively, Hillary Clinton has long seemed by far the more electable of the two Democratic candidates. She is, after all, an experienced, pragmatic moderate, whereas Sanders is a raving, arm-flapping elderly Jewish socialist from Vermont. Clinton is simply closer to the American mainstream, thus she is more attractive to a broader swath of voters. Sanders campaigners have grown used to hearing the heavy-hearted lament “I like Bernie, I just don’t think he can win.” And in typical previous American elections, this would be perfectly accurate.

But this is far from a typical previous American election. And recently, everything about the electability calculus has changed, due to one simple fact: Donald Trump is likely to be the Republican nominee for President. Given this reality, every Democratic strategic question must operate not on the basis of abstract electability against a hypothetical candidate, but specific electability against the actual Republican nominee, Donald Trump.

Here, a Clinton match-up is highly likely to be an unmitigated electoral disaster, whereas a Sanders candidacy stands a far better chance. Every one of Clinton’s (considerable) weaknesses plays to every one of Trump’s strengths, whereas every one of Trump’s (few) weaknesses plays to every one of Sanders’s strengths. From a purely pragmatic standpoint, running Clinton against Trump is a disastrous, suicidal proposition.

Her supporters insist that she has already been “tried and tested” against all the attacks that can be thrown at her. But this is not the case; she has never been subjected to the full brunt of attacks that come in a general presidential election. Bernie Sanders has ignored most tabloid dirt, treating it as a sensationalist distraction from real issues (“Enough with the damned emails!”) But for Donald Trump, sensationalist distractions are the whole game. He will attempt to crucify her. And it is very, very likely that he will succeed.

This campaigning style makes Hillary Clinton Donald Trump’s dream opponent. She gives him an endless amount to work with. The emails, Benghazi, Whitewater, Iraq, the Lewinsky scandal, Chinagate [15], Travelgate [16], the missing law firm records [17], Jeffrey Epstein [18], Kissinger [19], Marc Rich [20], Haiti [21], Clinton Foundation tax errors [22], Clinton Foundation conflicts of interest [23], “We were broke when we left the White House,” [24] Goldman Sachs [25]… There is enough material in Hillary Clinton’s background for Donald Trump to run with six times over.

Even a skilled campaigner would have a very difficult time parrying such endless attacks by Trump. Even the best campaigner would find it impossible to draw attention back to actual substantive policy issues, and would spend their every moment on the defensive. But Hillary Clinton is neither the best campaigner nor even a skilled one. In fact, she is a dreadful campaigner. She may be a skilled policymaker, but on the campaign trail she makes constant missteps and never realizes things have gone wrong until it’s too late.

Everyone knows this. Even among Democratic party operatives, she’s acknowledged [26] as “awkward and uninspiring on the stump,” carrying “Bill’s baggage with none of Bill’s warmth.” New York magazine described her [27] “failing to demonstrate the most elementary political skills, much less those learned at Toastmasters or Dale Carnegie.” Last year the White House was panicking [28] at her levels of electoral incompetence, her questionable decisionmaking, and her inclination for taking sleazy shortcuts. More recently, noting Sanders’s catch-up in the polls, The Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin said [29] that she was a “rotten candidate” whose attacks on Sanders made no sense, and that “at some point, you cannot blame the national mood or a poor staff or a brilliant opponent for Hillary Clinton’s campaign woes.” Yet in a race against Trump, Hillary will be handicapped not only by her feeble campaigning skills, but the fact that she will have a sour national mood, a poor staff, and a brilliant opponent.

Every Democrat should take some time to fairly, dispassionately examine Clinton’s track record as a campaigner. Study[30] how the ‘08 campaign was handled, and how this one has gone [31]. Assess her strengths and weaknesses with as little bias or prejudice as possible. Then picture the race against Trump, and think about how it will unfold.

It’s easy to see that Trump has every single advantage. Because the Republican primary will be over, he can come at her from both right and left as he pleases. As the candidate who thundered against the Iraq War [32] at the Republican debate, he can taunt Clinton over her support for it. He will paint her as a member of the corrupt political establishment, and will even offer proof: “Well, I know you can buy politicians, because I bought Senator Clinton. I gave her money, she came to my wedding [33].” He can make it appear that Hillary Clinton can be bought, that he can’t, and that he is in charge. It’s also hard to defend against, because it appears to be partly true. Any denial looks like a lie, thus making Hillary’s situation look even worse. And then, when she stumbles, he will mock her as incompetent.

Charges of misogyny against Trump won’t work. He is going to fill the press [34] with the rape and harassment allegations[35] against Bill Clinton and Hillary’s role [36] in discrediting the victims (something that made even Lena Dunham [37] deeply queasy.) He can always remind people that Hillary Clinton referred to Monica Lewinsky as a “narcissistic loony toon [38].” Furthermore, since Trump is not an anti-Planned Parenthood zealot [39] (being the only one willing to stick up for women’s health in a room full of Republicans), it will be hard for Clinton to paint him as the usual anti-feminist right-winger.

Trump will capitalize on his reputation as a truth-teller, and be vicious about both Clinton’s sudden changes of position (e.g. the switch on gay marriage [40], plus the affected economic populism of her run against Sanders) and her perceived dishonesty. One can already imagine the monologue:

“She lies so much. Everything she says is a lie. I’ve never seen someone who lies so much in my life. Let me tell you three lies she’s told. She made up a story [41] about how she was ducking sniper fire! There was no sniper fire. She made it up! How do you forget a thing like that? She said she was named [42] after Sir Edmund Hillary, the guy who climbed Mount Everest. He hadn’t even climbed it when she was born! Total lie! She lied about the emails [43], of course, as we all know, and is probably going to be indicted. You know she said there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq! It was a lie! Thousands of American soldiers are dead because of her. Not only does she lie, her lies kill people. That’s four lies, I said I’d give you three. You can’t even count them. You want to go on PolitiFact, see how many lies [44] she has? It takes you an hour to read them all! In fact, they ask her, she doesn’t even say she hasn’t lied. They asked her straight up [45], she says she usually tries to tell the truth! Ooooh, she tries! Come on! This is a person, every single word out of her mouth is a lie. Nobody trusts her. Check the polls, nobody trusts her. Yuge liar.”

Trump will bob, weave, jab, and hook. He won’t let up. And because Clinton actually has lied, and actually did vote for the Iraq War, and actually is hyper-cosy with Wall Street, and actually does change her positions based on expediency, all she can do is issue further implausible denials, which will further embolden Trump. Nor does she have a single offensive weapon at her disposal, since every legitimate criticism of Trump’s background (inconsistent political positions, shady financial dealings, pattern of deception) is equally applicable to Clinton, and he knows how to make such things slide off him, whereas she does not.

Here’s another example. If Hillary tries to hit Trump on his Mexican/Muslims comments, Trump can accurately point out she called inner city blacks “super predators.” [46]

Nor are the demographics going to be as favorable to Clinton as she thinks. Trump’s populism will have [47] huge resonance among the white working class in both red and blue states; he might even peel [48] away her black support. And Trump has already proven false [49] the prediction that he would alienate Evangelicals through his vulgarity and his self-deification. Democrats are insistently repeating their belief that a Trump nomination will mobilize liberals to head to the polls like never before, but with nobody particularly enthusiastic for Clinton’s candidacy, it’s not implausible that a large number of people will find both options so unappealing that they stay home.

Yep, many Sanders supporters will never vote for Hillary. In fact, more than a few will vote for Trump.

Trump’s various unique methods of attack would instantly be made far less useful in a run against Sanders. All of the most personal charges (untrustworthiness, corruption, rank hypocrisy) are much more difficult to make stick. The rich history of dubious business dealings is nonexistent. None of the sleaze in which Trump traffics can be found clinging to Bernie. Trump’s standup routine just has much less obvious personal material to work with. Sanders is a fairly transparent guy; he likes the social safety net, he doesn’t like oligarchy, he’s a workaholic who sometimes takes a break to play basketball [50], and that’s pretty much all there is to it. Contrast that with the above-noted list of juicy Clinton tidbits.

Trump can’t clown around nearly as much at a debate with Sanders, for the simple reason that Sanders is dead set on keeping every conversation about the plight of America’s poor under the present economic system. If Trump tells jokes and goofs off here, he looks as if he’s belittling poor people, not a magnificent idea for an Ivy League trust fund billionaire running against a working class public servant and veteran of the Civil Rights movement. Instead, Trump will be forced to do what Hillary Clinton has been forced to do during the primary, namely to make himself sound as much like Bernie Sanders as possible. For Trump, having to get serious and take the Trump Show off the air will be devastating to his unique charismatic appeal.

Trump is an attention-craving parasite, and such creatures are powerful only when indulged and paid attention to. Clinton will be forced to pay attention to Trump because of his constant evocation of her scandals. She will attempt to go after [51] him. She will, in other words, feed the troll. Sanders, by contrast, will almost certainly behave as if Trump isn’t even there. He is unlikely to rise to Trump’s bait, because Sanders doesn’t even care to listen to anything that’s not about saving social security or the disappearing middle class. He will almost certainly seem as if he barely knows who Trump is. Sanders’s commercials will be similar to those he has run in the primary, featuring uplifting images of America [52], aspirational sentiments about what we can be together [53], and moving testimonies [54] from ordinary Americans. Putting such genuine dignity and good feeling against Trump’s race-baiting clownishness will be like finally pouring water on the Wicked Witch. Hillary Clinton cannot do this; with her, the campaign will inevitably descend into the gutter, and the unstoppable bloated Trump menace will continue to grow ever larger.

Of course, the American people are still jittery about socialism. But they’re less jittery [55] than they used to be, and Bernie does a good job portraying socialism as being about little more than paid family leave [56] and sick days (a debatable proposition, but one beside the point.) His policies are popular [57] and appeal to the prevailing national sentiment. It’s a risk, certainly. But the Soviet Union bogeyman is long gone, and everyone [58] gets called a socialist these days no matter what their politics. It’s possible that swing voters dislike socialism more than they dislike Hillary Clinton, but in a time of economic discontent one probably shouldn’t bet on it.

But even if it was correct to say that Sanders was “starting to” lose (instead of progressively losing less and less), this should only motivate all Democrats to work harder to make sure he is nominated. One’s support for Sanders should increase in direct proportion to one’s fear of Trump.

And if Trump is the nominee, Hillary Clinton should drop out of the race and throw her every ounce of energy into supporting Sanders. If this does not occur, the resulting consequences for Muslims and Mexican immigrants of a Trump presidency will be fully the responsibility of Clinton and the Democratic Party. To run a candidate who can’t win, or who is a very high-risk proposition, is to recklessly play with the lives of millions of people. So much depends on stopping Trump; a principled defeat will mean nothing to the deported, or to those being roughed up [59] by Trump’s goon squads or executed with pigs’ blood-dipped bullets [60].

Trump vs. Clinton will appear to most Americans as a choice between something new and risky, and something old and corrupt. In 2016, who do you think the public will choose?

If Democrats foolishly nominate Hillary Clinton, they will be the only ones to blame for a Trump Presidency.

TRUMP: THE REPUBLICAN NIGHTMARE: Maybe It's Just Begun…
    (Before It's News)
    By Marilyn MacGruder Barnewall
    April 10, 2016
    NewsWithViews.com

    … Maybe It’s Just Beginning
Though the Republican National Committee may think it is going to survive the nightmare of what Donald Trump could do to the established power base of both political parties if he became President of the United States, the nightmare may be just beginning.

With the shortsightedness for which politicians and bureaucrats are known, Reince Priebus and the rest of the power-based Republican establishment have only begun to feel the anger from abused constituents they were either elected or appointed to serve. Rather than serving, they have ruled… or tried.

    What might the future hold?

If Donald Trump loses the Republican presidential nomination because of rules changes at the 2016 convention, the Republicans will lose the election. Period. Zero chance of it being otherwise. Why? Because voters around the country who, as good citizens voted in primaries and caucuses, have learned that their votes are meaningless. They have now been told by the Republican Party that it, not the people, chooses the Republican candidate for President.

Keep this in mind in the future. We don’t have to take our valuable time to let the RNC and DNC continue their soap opera scripting designed to gain political contributions and voter support for “the big November election” wherein a company owned by George Soros counts the votes. The RNC and DNC control who will be their nominees and do not need our votes.

I just watched a Sean Hannity Fox News segment. Two women were discussing how the rules that govern the Republican presidential nomination will be determined at the 2016 Convention and they will be determined by the delegates. One woman repeated at least twice that a majority of the delegates voting on the rules for the 2016 Convention will be Trump and Cruz delegates because they have the largest percentage of votes via the caucus and primary process. She is wrong… she probably knew she was wrong as the words passed her lips.

Delegates are chosen by state and national Republican committees and those selected will very likely support a candidate favored by the party – and that is not Trump or Cruz. Their first ballot votes taken at the Cleveland Convention must reflect the number of delegates earned by each of the candidates in each state via primaries and caucuses. I wrote an article two months ago explaining how the party puts the fix in to achieve whatever candidate result the party wants.
That’s why there were 17 candidates when the race began: Fiorina to pull the woman’s vote away from any populist candidate (which the RNC thought would be Ted Cruz, not Donald Trump). Dr. Ben Carson was there to attract the Black vote (and the vote of the faithful – Carson is known as a strong Christian and was a much stronger candidate than the RNC thought he would be). Governor Mike Huckabee is a former Pastor and has a television following (and would make the best vice president). Former Senator Rick Santorum was supposed to attract the Catholic vote; Kasich who positions himself as part of the Reagan team is in reality part of the Bush neo-conservative cabal (according the news articles during April’s first week, perhaps Kasich appeals to gay voters, too – he lived with an openly gay man for over a year when he was a Congressman and his campaign manager is openly gay… which is a plus for him in NYC and California).

The delegates selected by various Republican committees (county and state) are committed to vote on the first ballot for the candidate who won a specific number of delegates in a particular primary or caucus election, but the delegates are hand-picked by the State Republican parties (which is dependent for financial support on the RNC). They may be selected because they oppose either Trump or Cruz. Some delegates will have to vote for Trump and Cruz on the first ballot because they won the right to those delegate votes. But if no candidate gains the required 1,237 votes on the first ballot, delegates can vote for anyone they (or the RNC) choose.

Without the conservative vote, the Republicans cannot win any election against any Democrat. The Party really doesn’t care because the elitist political establishment from both parties has only one objective: Power. They could care less about political philosophy and principles that flow from the philosophy. As you read the rest of this article, keep that in mind.

Should there be shenanigans at the Cleveland Convention that deprive Trump and/or Cruz from becoming the nominee, we will likely have a Democrat President. When we know the Republicans will lose the Presidency to Democrats, it becomes critically important for conservatives not voting for the Republican nominee for President to vote for Republican Senators and Congressmen.
No, Republicans are not much better than Democrats when it comes to budgeting or passing common sense legislation that benefits the people and a sovereign nation. But a Republican Congress would have never passed Obamacare. They will maintain some control over whom gets seated on the Supreme Court… and four or five Justices will likely be named by the 2016-2020 President. The Republican establishment intends to hold those very important Supreme Court appointments over the heads of conservative voters to keep them from withholding their votes from the Republican candidate if it isn’t Donald Trump or Ted Cruz. In the RNC view, pending appointments to the Supreme Court will force conservatives to vote for their presidential choice. It is their trump card… or, better said, their non-Trump card.

It is extremely important that conservatives vote this year. Eliminate voting for President if you want. If Trump gets “unliked” by the RNC at the Convention, I will. But make sure Republican Senators and Congressman are elected so there is a wall of protection built between a Democrat President and the Congress. It won’t be much of a wall, but it will be a wall.

Most conservatives will throw yet another surprise to Priebus and his elitist Sheriff of Nottingham associates. Conservatives realize that our nation has already been sold out and that Donald Trump represents the only chance the people have to restore our Republic. Many of us don’t like his personality but we understand he is the only candidate who can save our nation. We the People know the Republican Party is as firmly committed to a New World Order – a world government – as the Democrats. It was, after all, neo-conservative Republican President George H.W. Bush who first used the words “new world order.”

Thus, it really doesn’t matter who appoints Supreme Court Justices. It was George W. Bush who gave us Chief Justice Roberts, the guy whose vote forced Obamacare on the nation.

While the RNC has Trump nightmares, I have dreams. My dream of what will happen is this:
Donald Trump does not run as a third party candidate. It would tear the nation apart and after seven years of Obama we are already pretty badly damaged. And, it would harm his status as a Patriot, too. Instead, Trump behaves like the Patriot he is and he waits until after the election to do what his wife Melania says he does when he is hit unfairly by an opponent: He hits back ten times harder than he was hit.

Donald Trump, if a brokered convention removes him from the top spot he’s earned and he is not chosen to be the Republican nominee, will on the day after the November election make an announcement that he is establishing a third political party… let’s call it the Politically Incorrect Common Sense Party (PICS) for the moment. He will publish a list of cities he will visit in each state and the dates he will be there for a Town Hall Meeting to enroll members into PICS. He will have to rent football stadiums to hold the numbers of people who will want to attend. In a full page newspaper ad in papers across the nation, he will particularly invite Libertarians and Independents and Democrats who oppose socialism to join with Conservatives to make our nation great again.

All it will take to fill the stadiums will be a full-page ad inviting people to attend. All of those tweet and email addresses will also be available to receive invitations. Press releases should be sent to every newspaper in the nation. It is news, after all.

In Colorado, he would visit Denver, Colorado Springs and, on the West Slope, Grand Junction., all on the same day. Attendees will receive an Elections Commission form to fill out so it can be filed with their local authorities. Zap! A new political party is born.

What that effectively does is destroy the establishment Republican Party. It will cost them at least one-third of registered voters. Reince Priebus and his establishment pack rat elitists will be a thing of the past. That, in and of itself, will fulfill Melania’s prediction that when unfairly attacked Donald Trump hits back ten times harder than he was hit.

After all 50 states have established a solid base for the PICS political party the party must immediately identify good, solid, honest candidates to run for Congress and the State Legislatures must quickly be identified. All candidates agree to attend a PICS school that teaches a course on the Constitution. Experts like Michael Badrnarik, Krisanne Hall and Michael Gaddy, known for their writings and classes on constitutional law, will teach the classes. Members of the media will be invited to attend the classes free of charge. New members of the new political party can attend, too.

The objective will be to get enough pro-constitution PICS candidates elected to office that they will provide a back-up to the few truly conservative members of Congress in getting legislation either passed or defeated. That can be achieved by the 2018 elections.

Donald Trump is right: The Republican nominating process is a scam

If Donald Trump arrives at the Republican National Convention with less than a majority of delegates bound to him, his message will be simple: I got way more votes than anyone else, and party insiders are conspiring against me to give the nomination to somebody else.

This complaint will be true, it will be valid, and anti-Trump Republicans will dismiss it at their peril.

There has been a weird epidemic of shortsighted schadenfreude among Republican insiders over the past week as they watch Trump's campaign blunder through the intricacies of delegate selection.

It is true that Trump's campaign is doing badly at the small stuff, and it's costing him delegates. Trump failed to organize for Colorado's complex delegate conventions, in which voters never got to express a direct preference for a candidate. He has just started the process of selecting hundreds of delegate candidates in California. He has failed to stack relevant convention committees with his allies.

When Trump has called the nominating rules a "scam" and a "disgrace," the response has been mainly that he should stop whining. Here's Reince Priebus, chairman of the RNC:

But here's the thing: Democratic legitimacy is not just about following the rules as written. It's about having a set of rules designed to produce a result in line with voter preferences. In some states, the Republican nominating rules are designed to ignore the will of the voters.

Trump is right: These states' rules are a scam, and saying so is not whining.

Take Colorado, for example. Voters in Colorado didn't get to vote in a primary or a caucus because the state's Republican Party executive committee decided last summer not to hold any presidential preference vote. Instead, voters had to gather at far-flung, time-consuming conventions to choose individual delegates.

Why wasn't there a caucus with a presidential vote as Colorado had held in previous years? Because this time the RNC had ordered states to bind their delegates to actually vote in line with voters' presidential preference. Colorado Republicans didn't want to do that, so they got rid of the presidential vote.

That is, the purpose of Colorado's rule change was explicitly antidemocratic. It took power away from regular voters and handed it to the sort of activists who would be likely to spend a lot of time and energy participating in party conventions.

These were the rules, but they weren't democratic rules.

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus leaves the stage after addressing the Faith and Freedom Coalition

Similarly, North Dakota chose to disenfranchise its voters by holding no presidential vote and electing delegates at a convention. Pennsylvania voters will vote for a presidential candidate, but will also have to choose unbound delegates from a list of names, a system designed to put voters in a position of flying blind and choosing representatives to the convention whose intentions are unknown.

These are not systems designed to reflect the voters' presidential preference. If you think the nominating process should be democratic, you could well call them disgraceful, as Trump has.

Now, think ahead to a convention, and the arguments that will inevitably ensue if Trump's popular-vote lead does not translate into a nomination.

Trump will point to the Colorado delegation and say it's illegitimate — that the voters of Colorado were disenfranchised because they never actually got to vote for a presidential candidate. Cruz will say that rules are rules, and these rules were unanimously adopted by the Colorado Republican Party executive committee all the way back in August 2015.

The latter argument will certainly be good enough to get the Colorado delegates — all of whom support Cruz — credentialed at the convention. But it will not be good enough to convince Trump's supporters that he lost fair and square.

The perception of legitimacy is important. A political party is a voluntary association, and Trump's voters have no obligation to stay Republican or support Republican candidates. If he is seen as having lost because of rigged rules, anti-Trump Republicans will win a Pyrrhic victory, as many of his backers will walk away in the general election.

If that happens, the only group enjoying schadenfreude will be Democrats.

2016: The Year Americans Found Out Their Elections Are Rigged
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 04/13/2016 17:30 -0400

    Videos at Source: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-04-13/2016-year-americans-found-out-their-elections-are-rigged
Submitted by Nick Bernabe via TheAntiMedia.org,

“Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president. And the same thing applies to governors, and U.S. senators and congress members.”
    – Former President Jimmy Carter

The 2016 election has been a wild ride, with two insurgent grassroots campaigns literally giving the political establishment a run for its money. But as the events of this presidential primary season play out, it’s becoming clear the U.S. election — and even more so, the presidential race — is a big scam being perpetrated on the American people.

Events from the last week have exposed the system as an illusion of choice and a farce. They have reinforced at least one study showing the U.S. is an oligarchy rather than a democratic republic.
The Wyoming democratic caucus took place on Saturday, purportedly to allow voters to have their voices heard in the race between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. Sanders lost the Wyoming caucus by winning it with a 12 percent margin.

    Wait, what?

How does one lose by winning 56 percent of the votes? This happens when the political process is, according to the New York Post, “rigged” by superdelegates. The Post summed up this “strange” phenomenon:

“[U]nder the Democratic Party’s oddball delegate system, Sanders’ winning streak — he has won seven out of the past eight contests — counts for little.

“In fact, despite his win, he splits Wyoming’s 14 pledged delegates 7 to 7 under the caucus calculus.

“Clinton, meanwhile, also gets the state’s four superdelegates — who had already pledged their allegiance to her in January. So despite ‘losing,’ she triumphs 11-7 in the delegate tally.”

Even media pundits on MSNBC openly called the process rigged:

The superdelegate process is complicated, as we’ve noted before, but they have one essential function: to prevent candidates like Bernie Sanders from winning the Democratic nomination.
Don’t believe me? Here’s a video of Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz explaining super delegates:

Adding insult to injury, even when Sanders does win states (despite Hillary’s advantage in superdelegates), the media can be reliably counted on to discount Sanders’s wins as nothing more than prolonging the electoral process, which will inevitably elect the presumptive nominee, Hillary Clinton. This pervasive commentary continues despite the fact Sanders only trails her by several hundred pledged delegates.

Meanwhile, according to the same media, the non-establishment Trump campaign is threatened every time Ted Cruz beats him — even though Trump leads by a larger percentage of pledged delegates than Clinton does. When Clinton loses, it doesn’t matter because she already has the nomination locked up. When Trump loses, his campaign is in big trouble. Starting to see the problem with the media coverage?

When you examine these media narratives, a troubling pattern emerges that goes beyond the political establishment’s self-interest. You begin to see that American corporate media also functions as an arm of the political machine, protecting establishment candidates while attacking — or dismissing — candidates who seem non-establishment.

This brings us to the events that transpired during the Republican nomination process in Colorado on Saturday. The Republican Party of Colorado didn’t even bother letting people vote before using arcane rules to strip the democratic process of its democracy. According to the Denver Post:

“Colorado GOP leaders canceled the party’s presidential straw poll in August to avoid binding its delegates to a candidate who may not survive until the Republican National Convention in July.

“Instead, Republicans selected national delegates through the caucus process, a move that put the election of national delegates in the hands of party insiders and activists — leaving roughly 90 percent of the more than 1 million Republican voters on the sidelines.”

Unsurprisingly, Trump’s non-establishment campaign walked away with zero delegates. They were all “awarded” to Ted Cruz.

“How is it possible that the people of the great State of Colorado never got to vote in the Republican Primary? Great anger — totally unfair!” Trump said on Twitter. “The people of Colorado had their vote taken away from them by the phony politicians. Biggest story in politics. This will not be allowed!”

In an interview on Monday, Trump was even more frank. “The system is rigged, it’s crooked,” he said.

The Colorado GOP didn’t even bother hiding its intentions, tweeting — then quickly removing — what was possibly the most honest insight into the back-door dealing so far this election season:
    PRESIDENT Donald J. Trump - Page 3 Colorado-gop
The Republican party chooses the nominee, not the voting public. Still in disbelief? Watch a Republican National Committee member explain it better than I can:

What we are witnessing — for the first time on a large scale — is the political establishment’s true role in selecting the president of the United States. The illusion of choice has become apparent. The establishment anoints their two picks for president, and the country proceeds to argue vehemently over the two candidates they are spoon-fed. This dynamic is reminiscent of a prophetic 1998 quote from philosopher Noam Chomsky:

“The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum.”

Ahh, the illusion of choice. Sure, in reality there are third party candidates who should be given a fair shake, but in our mainstream media-augmented reality, third parties do not exist. They aren’t mentioned. They aren’t even included in presidential debates. This is another way the media stifles healthy debate, stamps out dissenting opinions, and preserves the status-quo.

We The People don’t choose our presidents; they are hand-picked by a powerful group of political party insiders — parties that have long since sold out to the highest bidders. What we have on our hands in America is a rigged oligarchy, and that’s not a conspiracy theory — it’s fact

Now, however, millions of Americans are becoming aware of it thanks to the populist campaigns of Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump. America’s elections are controlled by a big club, but unfortunately, “you ain’t in it!”

Trump's campaign manager will NOT be charged in reporter-battery case as investigators say he was reacting after she touched Trump first and 'did what he needed to do'

    PRESIDENT Donald J. Trump - Page 3 Article-3540520-333041E400000578-321_636x382
Prosecutors in Palm Beach County, Florida announced Thursday that a potential criminal battery case against Donald Trump's campaign manager is dead in the water, calling into question the version of events presented by a reporter who filed the criminal complaint. State Attorney Dave Aronberg and his chief assistant Adrienne Ellis said there was conflicting evidence that would kill their chances of convicting Corey Lewandowski of battering Michelle Fields, a journalist, after a March 8 Trump press conference.

Let Me Ask America a Question

How has the ‘system’ been working out for you and your family? No wonder voters demand change.

    DONALD J. TRUMP

    April 14, 2016 7:18 p.m. ET
On Saturday, April 9, Colorado had an “election” without voters. Delegates were chosen on behalf of a presidential nominee, yet the people of Colorado were not able to cast their ballots to say which nominee they preferred.

A planned vote had been canceled. And one million Republicans in Colorado were sidelined.
In recent days, something all too predictable has happened: Politicians furiously defended the system. “These are the rules,” we were told over and over again. If the “rules” can be used to block Coloradans from voting on whether they want better trade deals, or stronger borders, or an end to special-interest vote-buying in Congress—well, that’s just the system and we should embrace it.

Let me ask America a question: How has the “system” been working out for you and your family?
I, for one, am not interested in defending a system that for decades has served the interest of political parties at the expense of the people. Members of the club—the consultants, the pollsters, the politicians, the pundits and the special interests—grow rich and powerful while the American people grow poorer and more isolated.

No one forced anyone to cancel the vote in Colorado. Political insiders made a choice to cancel it. And it was the wrong choice.

Responsible leaders should be shocked by the idea that party officials can simply cancel elections in America if they don’t like what the voters may decide.

The only antidote to decades of ruinous rule by a small handful of elites is a bold infusion of popular will. On every major issue affecting this country, the people are right and the governing elite are wrong. The elites are wrong on taxes, on the size of government, on trade, on immigration, on foreign policy.

Why should we trust the people who have made every wrong decision to substitute their will for America’s will in this presidential election?

Here, I part ways with Sen. Ted Cruz.

Mr. Cruz has toured the country bragging about his voterless victory in Colorado. For a man who styles himself as a warrior against the establishment (you wouldn’t know it from his list of donors and endorsers), you’d think he would be demanding a vote for Coloradans. Instead, Mr. Cruz is celebrating their disenfranchisement.

Likewise, Mr. Cruz loudly boasts every time party insiders disenfranchise voters in a congressional district by appointing delegates who will vote the opposite of the expressed will of the people who live in that district.

That’s because Mr. Cruz has no democratic path to the nomination. He has been mathematically eliminated by the voters.

While I am self-funding, Mr. Cruz rakes in millions from special interests. Yet despite his financial advantage, Mr. Cruz has won only three primaries outside his home state and trails me by two million votes—a gap that will soon explode even wider. Mr. Cruz loses when people actually get to cast ballots. Voter disenfranchisement is not merely part of the Cruz strategy—it is the Cruz strategy.

The great irony of this campaign is that the “Washington cartel” that Mr. Cruz rails against is the very group he is relying upon in his voter-nullification scheme.

My campaign strategy is to win with the voters. Ted Cruz’s campaign strategy is to win despite them.

What we are seeing now is not a proper use of the rules, but a flagrant abuse of the rules.

Delegates are supposed to reflect the decisions of voters, but the system is being rigged by party operatives with “double-agent” delegates who reject the decision of voters.
The American people can have no faith in such a system. It must be reformed.

Just as I have said that I will reform our unfair trade, immigration and economic policies that have also been rigged against Americans, so too will I work closely with the chairman of the Republican National Committee and top GOP officials to reform our election policies. Together, we will restore the faith—and the franchise—of the American people.

We must leave no doubt that voters, not donors, choose the nominee.

How have we gotten to the point where politicians defend a rigged delegate-selection process with more passion than they have ever defended America’s borders?

Perhaps it is because politicians care more about securing their private club than about securing their country.

My campaign will, of course, battle for every last delegate. We will work within the system that exists now, while fighting to have it reformed in the future. But we will do it the right way. My campaign will seek maximum transparency, maximum representation and maximum voter participation.

We will run a campaign based on empowering voters, not sidelining them.

Let us take inspiration from patriotic Colorado citizens who have banded together in protest. Let us make Colorado a rallying cry on behalf of all the forgotten people whose desperate pleas have for decades fallen on the deaf ears and closed eyes of our rulers in Washington, D.C.

The political insiders have had their way for a long time. Let 2016 be remembered as the year the American people finally got theirs.

Mr. Trump is a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination.

A new Fox News poll shows Ted Cruz crashing and Donald Trump and John Kasich benefiting.
The nationwide poll conducted on Monday through Wednesday of this week, shows Trump at 45%, Cruz crashing to 27%, just 2 points ahead of Kasich at 25%.

Trump’s 18 point lead is a new high for the Fox News poll, and may reflect the initial stages of capitulation on the part of both the mainstream media and establishment Republicans that was hinted at yesterday in Still Report 790 – Major Shift of GOP Towards Trump.

But the crash of Calgary Ted Cruz’s numbers is especially surprising in the light of a recent string of Cruz primary victories, and is attributable primarily to two factors:

    1. yet another perceived campaign dirty trick in the Colorado convention vote; and

    2. the growing awareness of his Constitutional ineligibility problem.

It is increasingly difficult for Cruz supporters to make the argument that a man with a Canadian birth certificate who renounced his Canadian citizenship in 2014 can in any way claim to be a natural-born U.S. citizen when he was obviously a natural-born Canadian citizen.

In the New York primary coming up in only 4 days, Trump has a 25-point lead over second-place John Kasich, 49 to 24. Ted Cruz polls only 14%.

    According to Politico:

Trump is poised to win, even on an only mediocre night, at least 65 delegates in New York. A stronger evening would lift him to closer to 85 delegates or more.”

Oh oh, this just in. A new version of Calgary Ted’s birth certificate is making the rounds on the Internet, which only deepens the mystery of why there are so many similarities between the nation’s most consistent conservative and the nation’s first Muslim president.

It claims that Ted Cruz was born in the exact same hospital as Barack Obama, but 7 ½ months earlier. Other strange coincidences are that the new Cruz birth certificate was even signed by the same attending physician. It even shows that Cruz’s father was also born in Kenya, not Cuba, and that both Cruz’s mother and Obama’s mother were born in Wichita, Kansas.

Please remember, birth certificates acquired off the Internet are notoriously unreliable.

I’m Still reporting from Washington. Good Day.

Post  Carol Sun Apr 17, 2016 9:16 am

Princeton classmates of Ted Cruz call him “abrasive,” “arrogant,” & “creepy.” One would rather have anybody else elected US president

    http://thebea.st/1WxKbhN
    [snip]
When Craig Mazin first met his freshman roommate, Rafael Edward Cruz, he knew the 17-year-old Texan was not like other students at Princeton, or probably anywhere else for that matter.

"I remember very specifically that he had a book in Spanish and the title was Was Karl Marx a Satanist? And I thought, who is this person?" Mazin says of Ted Cruz. “Even in 1988, he was politically extreme in a way that was surprising to me.”

By Mazin’s account and those of multiple members of Princeton’s class of 1992, the Ted Cruz who arrived as a college freshman in 1988 was nearly identical to the man who arrived in Washington as a freshman Republican senator in 2013: intelligent, confident, fixated on conservative political theory, and deeply polarizing.

“It was my distinct impression that Ted had nothing to learn from anyone else,” said Erik Leitch, who lived in Butler College with Cruz. Leitch said he remembers Cruz as someone who wanted to argue over anything or nothing, just for the exercise of arguing. “The only point of Ted talking to you was to convince you of the rightness of his views."

In addition to Mazin and Leitch, several fellow classmates who asked that their names not be used described the young Cruz with words like “abrasive,” "intense," “strident,” “crank,” and “arrogant.” Four independently offered the word “creepy,” with some pointing to Cruz’s habit of donning a paisley bathrobe and walking to the opposite end of their dorm’s hallway where the female students lived.

“I would end up fielding the [girls’] complaints: 'Could you please keep your roommate out of our hallway?'" Mazin says.
    ...
The time-capsule quality of Cruz’s politics is lost on no one who knew him at Princeton, none of whom could point to a political position that he held 25 years ago that he does not seem to still hold today. For some, that amounts to a laudably consistent belief system. For others, it reveals a man of calcified thinking, dangerously impervious to facts, reality, and a changing world.

"More than anyone I knew, Ted seemed to have arrived in college with a fully formed worldview,” Butler College colleague Erik Leitch said. “And what strikes me now, looking at him as an adult and hearing the things he's saying, it seems like nothing has changed. Four years of an Ivy League education, Harvard Law, and years of life experience have altered nothing."

While Cruz’s friends from the debate team foresaw a successful career in politics for Cruz, many of the Princeton alums offered that they were deeply troubled by the possibility of Cruz running for president, a notion that one, who did not want to be quoted speaking against a former classmate who is now a senator, called notion “horrifying.”
Craig Mazin said he knew some people might be afraid to speak in the press about a senator, but added of Cruz, “We should be afraid that someone like that has power.”

And the idea that his freshman roommate could someday be the leader of the free world? “I would rather have anybody else be the president of the United States. Anyone,” Mazin said. “I would rather pick somebody from the phone book."

Donald Trump Just Received AMAZING NEWS – This Is A POLITICAL EARTHQUAKE!

Even the RNC spokesman has to admit this primary is OVER! Watch (below) as he explains, “Right now the number as you mentioned is 1,237. Donald Trump is the only candidate right now that can get 1,237 bound delegates.”   (6:28)

What once started as rumors is now becoming fact: Donald Trump is beating all of his Republican primary opponents soundly… and getting more delegates than Hillary Clinton!

The election results now confirm that Trump outshines all other candidates of either party. This just shook the political establishment to the core:
    Trump has:
    ** More primary wins (17)
** More overall state wins (20)
** The highest percentage of primary wins (81%)
** The highest percent of overall state wins (63%)
** The highest percent of primary delegates (65%)
** The highest percent of overall delegates (58%)
** And Trump ties Hillary for the highest percent of overall votes (57%).
In the mean time, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is in 3rd place and trailing Ohio Governor John Kasich in the critical New York primary.
