I don't watch T.V. Oxy and so too have not seen 'V'... so curiosity got the better of me.. this is what I found:

Erica Evans is a top agent with the FBI’s Counter Terrorist Division. She’s also a single mom doing the best she can raising a troubled teenaged son. After the Visitors arrive, Erica gets caught up in the greatest conspiracy and toughest fight of her life, to save humanity and to keep her son safe.

She discovers that the aliens have plans to infiltrate our governments and businesses in a plot to take over the planet. I don't watch TV either -- but I did buy a small TV to watch 'V'! The two seasons of 'V' can be ordered from Amazon. I have the first season -- and I will soon have the second. 'V' has a lot to do with the imagery I employ in my personal Political and Theological Science-Fiction. I use it as a '(V)isual Aid'!

wondering how his teachings effected readers...

Hi Devakas,

This was one of my earlier books I purchased many many years ago. It certainly did set the standard, for me at least, in opening up my imagination to more possibilities than I had limitedly conceived. The book takes one on a journey through imagination. I envisaged myself being one of those hidden observing Spirits that was talked about throughout the book. It did not matter to me whether or not the book written was true or not. From the beginning I read this book as if it was just a story being told as my mind unraveled itself in its own far off journeyings. This book expanded my mind somewhat as the “blueprint” and the “highways” had been set. I entered the caverns of my own mind as the sign along the highway said “If you want to see you have to let the smoke guide you”… The book was the entrance to an invisible cavern as the smoke lured me through the tales of wonder in a time and place I once remembered.
