AURORA BOREALIS LANE: Globally, Earth's magnetic field has been quiet on Oct. 3rd and 4th 2011. Nevertheless, last night Ronn Murray was able to see bright Northern Lights over Fairbanks, Alaska. He took a stroll down Aurora Borealis Lane: "I love living in Fairbanks," says Murray. "The sky is so beautiful. I grabbed this shot on the way home from work."

What is life?
