Sterilize the males. Just take a sperm sample to be frozen and stored until they desire to have children. That should do it. Huge Grin

Seriously, overpopulation is not the problem. It's how resources are managed is the problem. I have traveled hundreds of miles across empty terrain and there is lots of room for everyone. It's the lifestyle that needs to be altered. Besides, somehow, I think, based on some who have traveled to the future that there will eventually be floating cities. In fact, my current primary concern is the destruction of the planet by pollution as a result of those responsible who just don't give a damn about the contamination of earth, air and water. Just think chemtrails, Gulf of Mexico and Fukashima for starters.

The idea that we need to sterilise the Indians and Chinese say, to help reduce the strain on the planet is not a cogent one.

Perhaps we should sterilise obese McDonald munching Americans and their gas guzzling materialists first along with their European counterparts.

The 'fecund black african' consumes less as they have no money and but in America that was a different matter.

America consumes almost twice as much oil as China (hence the wars)

I can only begin to imagine the waste we leave behind that would even feed an entire small nation.

Carol is quite correct, there is plenty to go around so depopulation through backdoor eugenics programmes like coerced steralisation is not the solution. Rather a more intelligent sharing of the worlds resources and a change in the mind set that more is more is the answer.

The history of eugenics, from its beginnings with Galton, through American racial purists,Sanger, The British Stopes, Nazism( and proto Nazism) and alienists who have supported sterilisation in one way or another such as Meir, Green, Pelley and Sadler then into its modern Gates backed Planned Parenting disguise, are completely missing the point. But then, the coerced sterilisation of white Europeans was never on their agenda unless they are white trash of course.

There is plenty of space and resources. Elitists and cranks would have you believe otherwise.

Eugenics and its modern covers are about population control. But one glance at it history it is easy to see what they were trying to control and why.

Why give any thought to eugenics. Those who live on handouts and don't know the basic skills of how to survive (i.e. grow their own food) will not last long. Even a good stash of dried beans, rice and oatmeal, along with spices and sprouting seeds goes a long way toward a means to survive.

My husband and I have noticed that a number of this next generation of teens don't know how to do anything other then entertain themselves via electronics. This by the way includes our own daughter who flatly refuses to participate in the garden or kitchen. In protest I stopped preparing food for her as she doesn't like to eat what we do. Meanwhile, she is quite happy living off of ramen, bread, Earl Grey tea and water. How are they going to survive if they can't even open up a can of soup, cook or let alone grow sprouts?

I still think that our numbers are a huge strain on the planet. It is about eating, consuming, producing, polluting, taking away from the environment. People in many countries are moving to the areas which used to belong to wildlife. And as I sai, we can't procreate to INFINITY. The earth population must be managed somehow. It happens so that in Europe the number of people in many countries in decreasing while in many Asian and African countries is increasing. I do not think that a model of 2 parents + 5 or more children is a good one.

When we look at the history and the race motivated agenda of eugenics and coerced sterilisation groups we understand that they cannot be taken seriously.

They have always had powerful spokespersons.

There must be another approach that does not follow in the footsteps of their elitist programme.

There is plenty but it quite simply does not go around enough.

    It amounts to greed.

There is room in this party for everyone.
I for one wouldn't like to judge who and who could not take part in it.

A more ecological and sustainable approach would assist.

But if you wanted to the clever move would be to reduce the population of America and europe.

The number of whites in Europe is decreasing and I believe they are becoming a minority in USA too. Currently in EU states there is 1.6 children per family.

If we talk about america as a nation regardless of race it consumes more than twice as much oil as china. And it cowers over India and russia for oil consumption.

Given the history of the white man this is a good thing.

The eugenics and coerced sterilisation depopulation agenda of the racial elitists is totally unnecessary. Whether it comes from the Alienist, social engineering or Nazi thread which I might add are by and large the same thing.

A poster on this thread mentioned sterilising males in a jocular manner.
    Well read on.

Dr. Henry Kissinger, who wrote: “Depopulation should be the highest priority of U.S. foreign policy towards the Third World.”

Research on population control, preventing future births, is now being carried out secretly by biotech companies. Dr. Ignacio Chapela, a University of California microbiologist, discovered that wild corn in remote parts of Mexico is contaminated with lab altered DNA. That discovery made him a threat to the biotech industry.

Chapela was denied tenure at UC Berkeley when he reported this to the scientific community, despite the embarrassing discovery that UC Chancellor Berdahl, who was denying him tenure, was getting large cash payments – $40,000 per year – from the LAM Research Corp. in Plano, Texas.

Berdahl served as president of Texas A&M University before coming to Berkeley. During a presentation about his case, Chapela revealed that a spermicidal corn developed by a U.S. company is now being tested in Mexico. Males who unknowingly eat the corn produce non-viable sperm and are unable to reproduce.

Depopulation, also known as eugenics, is quite another thing and was proposed under the Nazis during World War II. It is the deliberate killing off of large segments of living populations and was proposed for Third World countries under President Carter’s administration by the National Security Council’s Ad Hoc Group on Population Policy.

National Security Memo 200, dated April 24, 1974, and titled “Implications of world wide population growth for U.S. security & overseas interests,” says:

“Dr. Henry Kissinger proposed in his memorandum to the NSC that “depopulation should be the highest priority of U.S. foreign policy towards the Third World.” He quoted reasons of national security, and because `(t)he U.S. economy will require large and increasing amounts of minerals from abroad, especially from less-developed countries … Wherever a lessening of population can increase the prospects for such stability, population policy becomes relevant to resources, supplies and to the economic interests of U.S
    .

Funnily enough this news is welcomed on white supremecist websites by no suprising manner.

To learn more about Dr. Ignacio Chapela read here
    http://www.theava.com/04/0218-chapela.html

And yes Monsanto are involved (Planned parenting-Bill gates sponsored) once again

    http://www.organicconsumers.org/articles/article_17843.cfm

So we can understand that the impetus behind depopulation is elitist and exterminatory on the basis of prejudice and self serving greed. Its apologists perhaps should dig a little deeper because there is indeed plenty to go around.

It is the world that needs to change not the numbers of people that subsist on her. That would be quite manageable if we did not have lunatics and their minions in power.

Hopefully all that will change at one point.

You may learn more about Monsanto's corn rape of Mexico and more of its disgusting attack on organic food and farmers lives by watching this excellent video

Coerced sterilisation is the offspring and disguised modern day version of eugenics that was promoted in the States (and Nazi Germany, UK, Sweden. Canada, Australia etc)by pure breeding organisations, alienists such as William Pelley and William Sadler and elitists, Stopes, Margaret Sanger, head of 'Planned Parenting' recently led by Bill Gates father and currently being championed by Monsanto backing nerd Bill Gates wife Melinda.

It is based on the notion of racial elitism and the false idea that are not enough resources on the planet to share in the disguise of coerced birth control on the poor, those deemed unfit for society, the needy and the racially inappropriate.

US victims of forced sterilisation struggle to get justice to this day.

Long before Adolf Hitler hit his stride, American activists worked to breed a better, whiter race. Historian Daniel Kevles discusses the U.S. eugenics movement, Fitter Families, and efforts to segregate, sterilize, and castrate the "unfit...

A little more light on the story in the OP

In 1973, Elaine Riddick had been married for a year when she and her husband decided to start a family. She was surprised when her Brooklyn doctor told her it wasn’t possible—and even more surprised to discover why: She’d been medically sterilized during a hospital stay in rural Edenton, N.C., where she grew up.

Five years earlier, Riddick had become pregnant at 14. While performing the Caesarean delivery, doctors made sure that her son, Tony, would be her only child. Social workers with the Eugenics Board of North Carolina labeled her feeble-minded and promiscuous. They told her illiterate grandmother that Riddick had to be sterilized. She consented by marking an X on the form.

Riddick is one of an estimated 7,600 North Carolinians sterilized under the state’s eugenics program. On the books from 1929-74, its goal was to keep those deemed to have undesirable traits from having kids. The vast majority marked for sterilization were minorities, poor, undereducated, institutionalized, sick, or disabled. Eighty-five percent were female, some as young as 10 years old. “To find out that my government has done something so hideous only brought shame upon me,” Riddick says.

Now an administrative assistant living in Atlanta, she’s spent four decades telling her story and pressing state politicians for redress. In May it looked like that would finally happen. A bipartisan bill in the North Carolina House that would pay each living victim $50,000 attracted more than 50 co-sponsors, including the Republican speaker, Thom Tillis, and easily passed. The House established an $11 million fund. North Carolina was on its way to becoming the first state in the country to compensate those harmed by eugenics programs.

That’s when things fell apart. Opponents of reparations in the state senate have blocked the bill, claiming there’s no money to spare in North Carolina’s $20.2 billion budget. “While our hearts go out to the victims, the budgetary and economic realities we inherited prevent us from pursuing a financial solution,” Republican Senator Phil Berger said in an e-mail. Others don’t couch their objections in fiscal jargon. “You just can’t rewrite history,” GOP Senator Don East told the Associated Press. “I’m so sorry it happened, but throwing money don’t change it, don’t make it go away. It still happened. If they’re sterile, they’re still sterile.”
