Ascended Masters

Do you think Ascended Masters exist and are walking the earth now? If so , have they a special place to live ,shamballa/Avalon.,.do these places exist?...If they have reached the consciousness of an ascended master can we do the same thing?

There is a sanskrit word for what we westerners call an ascended master (cant remember but it begins with an a).
An ascended master is a highly evolved form of consciousness, Humans create personas and beings around the thought forms of a master beacuase it is, mostly, the only way we can conceptualize them.
There are a myriad of bloody awful websites with pictures of blokes with beards and purple cloaks accompanied by evangelical sounding channelings and predictions that never happen. That is because they are all astral, well 99% of the time anyway. They are created by misunderstanding and a lack of comprehension. Additionaly there are jocular and malignant astral entities causing havoc. I am not of the opinion that these entities are manufactured by a secretive government agency using sattelite technology because it is way beyond their scope.
The idea that certain highly evolved consciousnesses are assisting humanity through the next phase of its evolution however, I do accept.
These are archetypal. Some like to see them as good/ bad aliens, good/ bad earth spirits, even perhaps good/bad agencies.
What an ascended master is-is way beyond the comprehension of a human mind.
Are they here? Better to ask, why do we need them?

I suspect there are ascended masters on earth at this time given what we are in the process of transitioning through.

Avatar means more Descended Masters ( from the Realized Plane of Existence to the Human Plane ) to be precise . Now the term Avatar gained wide-spread usage ,
computer Avatar . Your incarnation, representation, manifestation of yourself on other plane of existance , such as computer platform.

The principle is very educatory in essence . Such as you are a being with long history and numerous facets , your mind contains galaxies, worlds and infinite gifts, all you can portray your-self in 2D computer world is your Avatar.
You can have as many Avatars you want till they're not dangerous to each other Personalities that have their own limited features.

The same way, Beings residing on peaceful and enlightened plane of existence who agree to step to this human world to help it to Ascend various ways , manifest themselves in 3D form visible and acceptable to humans of their times .

They have been here since mankinds beginnings . They've walking through 'our' times and beyond 'our' knowledge and capabilities of understanding taken that not many are really close to them , though many try to follow ..

And yes, such as there's a passage from 'their world' to 'ours', there is also a passage to their world, strictly taken , it's only One world. It is multi-dimensional world inhabited by various beings. Humans are not on the top of the chain, fortunatelly, in the best sense ..

The word doesn't occur in the Vedas, but is recorded in Pāṇini (3.3.120). Avatāra was initially used to describe different deities, then around the 6th century CE it began to be used primarily to describe the manifestations of Vishnu.^[6] While earlier texts mention deities taking on different forms, the Bhagavad Gita (4.5-9) is the first text to discuss the doctrine associated with the term even though the word avatāra itself is not mentioned.^[7]
The common translation "incarnation" due to its christological implications is somewhat misleading as the concept of avatar corresponds more closely to the view of Docetism in Christian theology, as different from the idea of God 'in the flesh' in mainstream Christology.^[8][9]
Related to the idea of avatar is that of vibhūti, that is, the idea of manifestations of the divine in various aspects of human life and the natural world.

The question often disputed in even very traditional scholastic environments is whether an Enlightened Being who descends to Human Plane of Existance needs to Ascend Back to his orginal form,
it's an old joke and puzzle for many.
For example Buddha Shakyamuni is considered to be 9th Avatar of Vishnu by traditional Hindus, while Buddha did never proclaim himself to be any Deity whatsoever.
Yet, there are very extensive scriptures in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism ennumerating various dimmensions of Enlightenment ( Pure Lands ) inhabited by primordial Boddhisattvas who are as numerous as grains of sand on banks of Ganga , as often quoted,

and how the Buddhas and Boddhisattvas of Old living in worlds where life time counts thousands of human lives etc., took various incarnations and undergone many painful lessons and did great deeds of compassion and wisdom in each of those lives .

Lotus Sutra and Flower Garland Sutra are just an example of those scriptures so it's commonly understood within Vajrayana and Mahayana Buddhists that ''Earthly Buddha'' ( Shakyamuni ) was an incarnation of Transcendental Buddha ( Vairochana , in his case ) and that there were past Buddhas and will be future Buddhas ..

At the same time, Buddhas never taught anything about planes of existence and Bodhisattva grounds, sais Diamond Sutra and traditional Theravadins refuse the concept strongly ,

in favour of anyone who tries can become one...while, at the same time they claim that it takes millions of human incarnations to Ascend to such level of Wisdom.

What did i want to say .., that it's widely disputed subject ..

It's curious enough how this ancient knowledge is passed from generation to generation over millenia, scriptures thousands years old , very vast library of knowledge including The Bible, Vedas and Puranas that are yet much older , Buddhist Cannon so called Tripitaka ( 3 Baskets of Knowledge , Dharma Pitaka, Abhidharma Kosha and Vinaya Pitaka , in other words thesis on The Teachings as commonly understood being methods and ways of Ascension, Metaphysics and Ethical Discipline respectively ) ,
all those gave life to innummerable teachings, sects and major and minor religions in various lands and various phases of our history ,

containing common roots .

Originally, all of them were taught not on wide platform but from individual Master to individual Disciples , to preserve correctness of understanding of terminology, views and methods ( of Ascension , Way to Enlightenment ).

Buddhism and Christianity in our modern times are both responsible for spreading the word freely , and passing teachings that were originally tied to specific cultural heritage to another ethnics , passing some forms and pieces of the teachings worldwide.

Followed by Hatha Yoga and all kinds of Yogic disciplines and exercises that are still of ancient origins and are still practised by living yogis in India ( mostly ) to these days , as a path of austerity , self-control, study and day to day practise ,

many modern methods originated there from, including Reiki which is just one of kinds of Pranayama techniques ( Prana -energy, Yama-control ),
integrated to many forms of martial arts such as Tai-Chi and Chi-Kuan, through out Tibetan Buddhist lore of Mahamudra teachings that are Yogic teachings in Origin ( Yoga School of Philosophy, Practise and Initiation rather than Hatha Yoga as specific physical exercise ),

to all of those 'modern' so called meditation methods of sounds and frequencies ( again, the same Teachings are described in Vedas in detail accompanied by thorough analyzis of human neuro-biological system with all its channels -Nadis- and energy centers -Chakras , sounds, colors and harmonics )
Sacred Geometry ( Yantras and Mandalas ) drawn and recorded from very old times and cultures and still practised to this day ,

visualisations and multiple trainings of concentration and meditation methods , again, borrowed freely from this ancient lore , given new names, new credits, such as Remote Viewing etc.,

all of that knowledge and spirituality came to be useful to modern man.

Some of it being faked and misunderstood while some are carefully trying to touch the roots of the real knowing ..

The author, here. Would like to apprise the readers that as per the above declaration, the Avatars come, once in a Yuga. They are known as descending Avatars. The present Poorna Avatar has come after 5000 years, in Kali Yuga. The descending Avatars take the human form, out of their own Will (Sankalpa), for protecting Dharma and in response to the yearning of their devotees. The descending Avatars even choose their own parents and the place of birth in advance as per their own Will. They have a Divine symbol, like Chakra or Shank etc., on their body or feet. They are not born like mortals. They enter the body through Pravesh, taking birth as per their own Will. Their embryo is encased in pure white milk of holiness and not like ordinary mortals enveloped in watery environment. Some extraordinary things take place as the time of their birth which are not ordinary phenomena but Divine occurrences that substantiate the advent of an Avatar. They are born with supernatural powers, innate to them and not acquired by them by any Siddhis during their life time. They have full control over all the five elements of which the entire Universe is composed of. They are the Masters of the entire cosmos. Whatever they Will takes place instantly. Though they take a human body, they are not restricted by the physical body but are instead the Masters of the body and can leave the body (extracorporeal activities) any time at their Will or Command.

Again, there are ascending Avatars also. But they are born through sex. They have taken the present body, due to their Karmic effect. And they have ascended and elevated themselves to Brahma Gyanis, due to their constant austerities and “Tapas” done during their life time, and partly due to merits acquired in their many past lives. They die a normal and natural death. They acquire some Siddhis, due to their Tapas and Sadhana, which grant them certain powers, over the five elements and the Universe.

“Now again, amongst the descending Avatars, there are POORNA AVATARS. Poorna Avatars are the Masters of the sixteen Kalas. The fifteen Kalas are : The five Karma Indriyas or working organs which have to do with talking, taking, walking, rejecting (exertion) and eating. The five Gyan Indriyas or sense organs: hearing, touch, sight, taste, smell, and Panch Mahabhootas or the five elements: earth, water, fire, air, space. The 16th Kala: the all - knowing Paramatma (the Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent aspect)”.

No mate. Its not avatar. Its much longer and much more difficult to pronounce.

There are quite few...commonly used...such as Arahant ( Noble One - literally one who has killed his desires ), Antaryamin, Adisattva ( Adi- generally means the First Unborn ), Anagamin ( One who does not return..),
and many many more...if it's 'longer and difficult to pronounce' then it'll be some kind of compound . Depends ..

No problem.

Can think of one longer ..Antarikshaniwasin...one whose abode is Pure Sky ( Mind )..and so and so on...

I like this word for some reason, it resides somewhere in the more mystical part of my mind. I know it 's Maori name for New Zealand and means something like Long White Cloud .

Aotearoa is made up of either two or three words, Aotea and roa or Ao tea and roa. Aotea could be the name of one of the canoes of the great migration, the great magellan cloud near the bright star Canopus in summer, a bird or even food; ao is a cloud, dawn, daytime, or world; tea white or clear, perhaps bright, while roa means long or tall.
The most popular and authoritative meaning usually given is “long white cloud”, and there are two stories current to illustrate this. It seems the voyagers to New Zealand were guided during the day by a long white cloud and at night by a long bright cloud. The more usual one tells how, when Kupe was nearing land after his long voyage, the first sign of land was the peculiar cloud hanging over it. Kupe drew attention to it and said “Surely is a point of land”. His wife, Hine-te-aparangi, called out “He ao! He ao!” (a cloud! a cloud!) Later Kupe decided to call the land after his wife's greeting to it, and the cloud which welcomed them. The name Aotea was given both to the Great Barrier and to the North Island, but the latter became Aotearoa, presumably because of its length.

In Tibetan Buddhism and with some American Indian Tribes there also exists ''White Cloud Deity''


Happy Summer Solstice

According to Buddhist teachings, there are 10 Bodhisattva Grounds or Bhumis, levels of Enlightenment .

It's said that without utilizing any special efforts but keeping to ones ethical rules each of them is achieved after many thousands nay millions of human lives . The first level and any further level is achieved when two basic conditions are fulfilled..

Accumulation of wisdom and accumulation of good deeds . Both depend of ones efforts ...

Wisdom again, can be amplified with help of meditation and deepening ones insight to the true nature of reality, behind and beyond casual phenomena.

With each respective level, stability of ones awareness increases so does an ability to help other sentient beings ...

To contemplate those levels itself is considered a path to wisdom..


Ten bhūmis
The Avatamsaka Sutra refers to the following ten bhūmis:^[2]

1. The first bhūmi, the Very Joyous. (Skt. Paramudita), in which one rejoices at realizing a partial aspect of the truth;
   
2. The second bhūmi, the Stainless. (Skt. Vimala), in which one is free from all defilement;
   
3. The third bhūmi, the Luminous. (Skt. Prabhakari), in which one radiates the light of wisdom;
   
4. The fourth bhūmi, the Radiant. (Skt. Archishmati), in which the radiant flame of wisdom burns away earthly desires;
   
5. The fifth bhūmi, the Difficult to Cultivate. (Skt. Sudurjaya), in which one surmounts the illusions of darkness, or ignorance as the Middle Way;
   
6. The sixth bhūmi, the Manifest. (Skt. Abhimukhi) in which supreme wisdom begins to manifest;
   
7. The seventh bhūmi, the Gone Afar. (Skt. Duramgama), in which one rises above the states of the Two vehicles;
   
8. The eighth bhūmi, the Immovable. (Skt. Achala), in which one dwells firmly in the truth of the Middle Way and cannot be perturbed by anything;
   
9. The ninth bhūmi, the Good Intelligence. (Skt. Sadhumati), in which one preaches the Law freely and without restriction;
   
10. The tenth bhūmi, the Cloud of Doctrine. (Skt. Dharmamegha), in which one benefits all sentient beings with the Law (Dharma), just as a cloud sends down rain impartially on all things.
    

Beyond these ten, there are another 3, so called Tantric levels of Enlightened Masters of whose the highest is commonly titled as Dorje Chang or Vajradhara in sanskrit ,
Master of Thunderbolt who has achieved so called Diamond Body in its full extent and capabilities .

He is understood to be the Primordial Being of Light who resides in his own will ..
