Normally Mercury is flighty and worry free, in Capricorn however he comes down to earth with a bump, ensuring that we are being realistic when it comes to our plans and decisions. Movement during this time may feel slow, the going tough. We may feel rudely jolted by every bump in the road yet somehow along the way we learn to be patient, to drive a little slower so that the bumps aren’t quite so jarring.

During this time it is good to just get your head down and work, stick to your schedule and concentrate on the task at hand. Mental discipline is a benefit of this transit. Leo --[i]Today brings a beautidul, sweet, generous, strong sky.All who say NO too many times risk to miss opportunities. I have said it many times: the Leos will have had to make choices by the end of June because this year is particular. it starts "a la grande" and then you move ahead by inertia.So, those who have a chance to conclude a contract,and then to renew it by June, will be able to lead a calm life even in the second part of 2011.However those who are "asleep" run the risk of not having the same type of stimuli in the second half of 2011.Come on! Something has already been concluded. You also shouldn't waste time in love. we have a great sky for those who will fall in love now or want to verify the existing feeling.

VIRGO -- [b]start thinking less about the problems and more about how to cure your life. I believe some Virgos have distanced themselves from a partner. There is recovery in February. this distsncing oneself could be psychological or physical. SCORPIO -- for a Scorpio today is another day that will go in a bit convulsive way. someone will raise their voice, others will blame themselves for some problems...I have noticed that a Scorpio, when in love with someone and when sees that the things are not going well, may act a bit aggressive but later , when comes back home, starts thinking: i was wrong, i made a maistake, i ruined everything it was all my fault...Don't blame yourself for everything. if you reacted the way you did, it means that someone didn't behave approppriately towards you. it is not true that you are unlucky, some Scorpios are thinking that...but why? do not be negative. if one thinks negatively can't go on in life. now you have to be very positive...new beginnings, new emotions, satisfactions from tomorrow, today is still a bit heavy...organize the weekend with those you love.

This month really kicks off on the third with the new Moon in Aquarius and Mars entering the same sign later in the day. The new Moon itself takes place at 02.32 and the chart drawn shows Mars in conjunction with the Sun and Moon and promises a great deal of energy for the part of your natal chart that it highlights. Action is likely to be fast paced and slightly unconventional but if you've been waiting for the year to get going you should start to see movement now. Saturn trines the new Moon which offers support and stability to any new ventures and any partnerships with those you consider friends or team mates should work well in the coming weeks.

There are a few pairings such as Venus with the north node and Pluto, this could bring intense encounters that are destined to have a long term impact, the problem is Uranus is squaring Venus which suggests that things could be on shaky ground romantically, we have excitement without the promise of tomorrow..great if that's what you're after but if you are hoping for committment you may have to bide your time and surf a pretty erratic current. Uranus sits in conjunction with an Arian Jupiter and is itching to blow things out of proportion, we can't ignore the messages though because Jupiter and Uranus both square the nodes so we have to attend to the stuff that needs sorting or we'll be blocked from moving forward.

Mercury moves into Aquarius on the 3rd at 22.20 and stays there until the 22nd when it shifts into Pisces. Whilst the messenger sits in the sign of the water bearer we have a chance to get a much bigger perspective than we would normally have. For those on the woo woo train you can ask for insight into past lives because this time should be more productive for digging around for answers. Aquarius is all about ideals and with Mercury here we could find ourselves thinking about the long term future and how we can achieve a life that is closer to the ideal image we carry around inside. When Mercury enters Pisces our thoughts could get a little wooly but more imaginative and certainly softer. It'll be time to dream and be creative with self expression...silence can be golden or it can be deafening so it may be the quiet time when you find out if your unconscious self is as happy as you think.

Venus enters Capricorn on the 4th and it's time to get serious about what we value. When Venus is in Capricorn she can sometimes forget that duty without love can become a chore, whilst she has staying power in this sign she needs to learn to give value to the softer side of life too. Venus here brings a certain stability to love and that which we value but only if it serves a purpose, ideals are all fine and dandy if we're having a philosophical debate but hold no worth if they can't be honoured on a daily basis. Between the 7th & 12th she will be conjunct Pluto and this is bound to intensify the energy.

Mars is in Aquarius until the 23rd, the rebellious spirit inside us all is asking that we cut ties with anything holding us back from our ultimate goals in life. In mythic astrology Raven Kaldera says the god representing this combination is Enki who was the mediator between gods and men. Mars in Aquarius can fight passionately for that which it believes is right but emotions will often be brushed aside and leave those of a sensitive nature feeling bruised. It will conjunct Neptune on the 21st which may be jarring on a metaphysical level, meditations could go one of two ways - you'll either get some unique insight or you'll get your brain fried. Mars then shifts into Pisces on the 23rd which turns Mars into a passive aggressive shark but it should be a welcomed rest after its transit through Aquarius. In Pisces, Mars is indirect and prefers fluid movements that eventually penetrate through everything in it's path.

Jupiter is now in Aries and will stay there for a while, it has a square to Pluto on the 25th which could pile on the pressure between doing what you want and keeping up with your duties and obligations. Whilst Jupiter is in Aries our perspectives will align more closely with what is instinctive in our human nature, we may want to simplify our beliefs and those that are sure of themselves will fight more strongly for what they believe to be right.

Saturn is retrograde which pushes energy inwards so that we may strengthen the boundaries of the self, we have a long term influence here so no need to hurry and as always the moral of Saturn is "Time is your instrument, not your enemy."

The full Moon is on the 18th at the critical degree of 29 degrees Leo, the Sabian symbol is "An unsealed letter", this implies a need for trust with whatever information you are delivering to others. In the Astrological Oracle, Lyn Birkbeck has given the quote "With nothing to hide, you are free to express who you truly are." Often we will be reluctant to trust because of past experiences around negative situations but if we are unable to have a little faith now and again we run the risk of suppressing the spirit and never experiencing anything of real value or meaning. The chart for the full Moon shows Neptune conjunct the Sun in Aquarius with Mercury and Mars also in picture. This looks like a real call to action with a clear need to express your own vision of the future. It shouldn't be as emotionally charged as the last full Moon as we have fire energy to contend with but it may still be passionately dramatic if it contacts your natal chart strongly.

The heavens are getting ready for two big shifts, first we have Uranus and its re-entry into Aries in mid March and then Neptune enters Pisces in early April. The Uranian energy will be a relief for me as it should help to finally separate the energies that have been confusing for some time. For the last few years Uranus and Neptune have been in mutual reception which has had a bizarre effect on the alternative belief scene. The rebels have been sacrificial and delusional without a clear cause in mind and then we've had the mystics trying to change the world with irrational belief. The collective is long overdue for a big shake up and at the very least it's needing some serious restructuring at its core value....too much focus on theory without the knowledge of practice.
