    Awareness should be spreading more. I have been warning that Japan will stay quiet, which it is, which will be followed after by a mega disaster, and look how I have shown my ability to predict how plates will behave meanwhile.

    When you look at the map I made, and see the 4 spots shown, the top one on the east side of Japan is where the Culebra Event will be, the epicenter. That's where the foreshocks and main event epicenter will be.

    Culebra Event

    The Culebra event is an upcoming globally devastating mega earthquake that will result in permanent changes worldwide to current human society. It will be by far the largest earthquake in modern times.

    The cause of this mega earthquake will be from the release of a jammed section of the Pacific plate. The Pacific plate is locked against the plates next to it, and is very tightly jammed under Japan. There are signs that the Pacific plate is getting close to the point that it will no longer hold up against the built-up pressure and release in the mega earthquake. It is estimated that the size of the Culebra event will be magnitude 10.3 or greater with epicenter about 200 km northeast of Tokyo, Japan. The latest estimate for timing is by year 2024. The main rupture path should run from Guam, through Japan, and through Alaska and may extend to Taiwan and other areas of the west Pacific.

    The major impacts will include damage from shaking on a global scale, seiche waves, and tsunamis. Areas without earthquake building protections will be most susceptible to major damages from the earthquake worldwide. These are parts of the world that don't usually have major seismic activity like New York City, London, Paris, Hong Kong, and Sao Paulo. The result will be an extensive debris field of ruined cities, pipelines and other infrastructure, and ships dragged and deposited inland. The tsunami is estimated to be several hundreds of meters high when it smashes into the west coast of the US, destroying urban areas well inland from the coast such as in metro LA and San Francisco Bay area. Seiche waves will cause extensive flooding of low-lying areas in other parts of the world such as the east coast of the United States.

    The strongest signs showing that this mega earthquake is coming are from the slowdown in earthquakes in certain areas and change in earthquake types. North America has seen a significant decrease in major earthquakes since the end of the 1800s, and starting later in the 1900s for a wide portion of Europe. Across Asia, a wide area that once had massive earthquakes like magnitude 8+ more often stopped getting them several decades ago. Earthquakes bigger than magnitude 7.7 have also been paused in a very wide area all around the Philippine blocking location for many years. The corridor from Southern Japan through most of the Philippines has seen a long pause in earthquakes bigger than magnitude 7.1 that has been happening since the end of the last century. Many areas in the west Pacific have not seen thrust earthquakes of magnitude 7.0 or larger in many years. Examples include the region extending from Toyko, all the way down through the Philippines. And the eastern boundary of the Australia plate from Fiji, down to New Zealand where there has been a large number of magnitude 7+ earthquakes, but no thrust type. This is a sign of restricted plate movement.

    After the Culebra event, human life will be very different but with minimal changes to wildlife and habitats. The global economy will completely collapse and global trade and industrial output will grind to a complete halt. There will be a major drop in the global human population ranging from tens of millions of people to as much as billions.

    "In case you have not noticed, USGS has not been listing all the EQs in the world for some time.  They are now not reporting a lot of them and also reducing the size of the EQs.  In the USA the reason for this is to avoid the necessity of the Federal Government having to pick up the cost of damages. I forget the magnitude that is the threshold for Federal gov help. However, USGS has been downgrading magnitudes of a lot earthquakes to be under this threshold.

    "There is a very big one coming off the coast of Acapulco. This subduction fault has ruptured on both ends in recent years, but not much going on in the middle of the plate for many many decades. It's normal to get relatively frequent quakes of lower to moderate strength, this is normal, but in the past few years that has slowed. It isn't a coincidence that the fastest and most drastic development of hurricane Otis occurred right when the system was right over the most vulnerable area of the subduction fault.     Philippines is shaking! Monstrous scenes of a 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Mindanao!

    On November 17, a magnitude 7.2 earthquake shook the Philippines.
    The epicenter was located in the sea at a depth of 60 km, 30 km from the southern tip of the country.

    The tremors were felt strongly on the island of Mindanao, home to about 26 million people.

    No tsunami warning was issued, but waves were recorded on the shore after the earthquake.

    11/24/2023 -- Largest Volcanic Blast of 2023 (so far) plus multiple large Earthquakes spreading

    The largest volcanic blast of the year for the planet has occurred (largest so far this year of November 24, 2023).  The eruption at Ulawun Volcano in Papua New Guinea produced an ash warning first at FL600 (60,000 feet 18,200m ) then downgraded to FL500 (50,000 feet 15,200m).

    Additionally, after the large blast, two significant earthquakes struck East and West of the eruption by 2000 miles (M6.7/M7.0 to the East at Vanuatu, and M6.0 to the West at Indonesia.  Additionally a large M6.7 to M7.2 with Tsunami struck South Philippines a few days ago on November 18, 2023 as well as a M6.2 to M6.5 West of Sumatra Indonesia at the start of this past week on Oct 16.  

    So far a very busy week in the West Pacific.  

    Additionally we are watching for 2 more days on this weeks earthquake forecast, thus no new forecast until the current one expires on the night of November 26, 2023.

    Until the forecast expires, we watch the named locations in this video.

    Major X5.0 solar flare erupts from Region 3536 — the strongest flare of Solar Cycle 25 - January 1, 2024

    A major X5.0 solar flare erupted from Active Region 3536 at 21:55 UTC on December 31, 2023. The event started at 21:36 and ended at 22:08 UTC. This is now the strongest solar flare of the current solar cycle — Solar Cycle 25 — and the strongest flare since X9.3 on September 6, 2017.

    A Type IV radio emission was associated with the event. Type IV emissions occur in association with major eruptions on the Sun and are typically associated with strong coronal mass ejections (CMEs) and solar radiation storms.

    Additionally, the flare event was associated with a 10cm Radio Burst (tenflare) lasting 21 minutes and with a peak flux of 3 100 pfu. A 10cm radio burst indicates that the electromagnetic burst associated with a solar flare at the 10cm wavelength was double or greater than the initial 10cm radio background. This can be indicative of significant radio noise in association with a solar flare. This noise is generally short-lived but can cause interference for sensitive receivers including radar, GPS, and satellite communications.

    The location of this region does not favor Earth-directed CMEs, but this will change in the days ahead as it rotates toward the center of the disk.

    This region was named 3514 during the last transit and was responsible for the X2.8 solar flare on December 14 — the strongest solar flare since September 2017 before today’s X5.0.

    There is a small possibility that a part of the CME may reach Earth in a couple of days.

    Radio frequencies were forecast to be most degraded over the Pacific Ocean at the time of the flare.

    The explosion was powerful enough to produce a solar tsunami.

    In addition to the X-flare, the newly numbered Region 3536 (N05E75, Hax/alpha) produced an M1.0 flare at 19:12 UTC on December 31.

    Regions 3533 (N14W78, Bxo/beta) and 3534 (S13E03, Dao/beta) were seen to be in decay while Region 3531 (S20W77, Hsx/alpha) was stable over the past 24 hours.

    Three prominent filament eruptions were observed during the same period. The first filament eruption occurred in the vicinity of S40E65 at around 06:00 UTC on December 31, the second was near N38W50 at around 09:00 UTC, and the third was located near S52E68 at around 17:00 UTC.

    Three CMEs associated with the filament eruptions have been analyzed and determined to be directed off the Sun-Earth line, SWPC forecasters said.

    As of this report, LASCO satellite imagery had not been updated to include the X5.0 flare.

    No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

    Solar activity is expected to be low with M-class flares likely, and a chance for X-class flares through January 3, particularly from new Region 3536.

    Periods of active geomagnetic field conditions are expected on January 1 and 2, with quiet and unsettled levels expected on January 3, due to negative polarity coronal hole high speed stream (CH HSS) influences.

    California and Nevada Have Been Rocked by 945 Earthquakes in Just the Past Week

    (End of the American Dream)—Have you noticed that the state of California has been getting absolutely monkey-hammered by earthquakes lately? According to the Southern California Earthquake Data Center, California and Nevada have been hit by a total of 945 earthquakes within the last seven days. That is a whole lot of shaking! As you can see from this map, southern California has been getting pummeled more than anywhere else.

    Could it be possible that the trillions of gallons of rain that were dumped on the region earlier this month have something to do with all of this? As I have discussed previously, scientists have determined that flooding can put an enormous amount of stress on fault lines. And without a doubt we have seen an unusual level of activity along California’s fault lines in recent days.

    13 significant earthquakes, including one measuring magnitude 4.8, shook the state very early on Monday morning in a span of just 25 minutes…

    Parts of California were hit by more than a dozen earthquakes overnight, with 13 shaking the state during a span of just 25 minutes.

    “Good morning Southern California! Did you feel the magnitude 4.8 earthquake about two miles north-west of El Centro at 12.36am? The #ShakeAlert system was activated,” the United States Geological Survey Shake Alert account posted on X.

    The good news is that none of the earthquakes were large enough to do much damage. But the magnitude 4.8 quake was keenly felt by some local residents…

    Although some near the area said they hadn’t felt the tremors, one X user wrote: “Definitely felt much stronger than a 4.8.” Another added: “Earthquake swarms just as I was about to go to bed. strong enough for things to fall and break. sadly, a few broken decorations.”

    When people hear about earthquakes in California, most immediately think of the San Andreas fault system, but it was actually the San Jacinto fault system that caused most of the problems early on Monday…

    The quakes appear to have been caused by the San Jacinto fault system, meteorologists have said. It is one of the most active faults in southern California.

    Overall, the USGS says that there have been 27 significant quakes of at least magnitude 2.5 that have hit the state within the past 24 hours.

    And all of this activity comes just a few days after a magnitude 4.6 earthquake shook up the wealthy residents of Malibu…

    A magnitude 4.6 earthquake struck about 8 miles northwest of Malibu on Friday, according to the United States Geological Survey.

    The earthquake was reported at 1:47 p.m., the USGS website said. It occurred at a geological depth of 13.9 kilometers, or nearly 9 miles.

    The USGS is reporting at least a dozen aftershocks, with the largest measuring at a magnitude of 3.0.

    We haven’t seen this sort of sustained seismic activity in southern California in a long time.

    Is something very unusual starting to happen?

    Let’s keep a very close eye on the numbers coming from the Southern California Earthquake Data Center. If the number of quakes in a week rises above 1,000 and stays there, I would say that there is cause for alarm.

    As I wrote about earlier this month, scientists assure us that we are way overdue for “the Big One”.

    When it finally arrives, the ground on the western side of a major fault line could suddenly drop by several feet (or more), and because much of that area is just barely above sea level that could potentially allow the Pacific Ocean to come rushing in.

    Let us hope that nothing like that happens any time soon. But right now the flooding that has recently occurred in the region is putting a tremendous amount of stress on the fault lines.

    Unfortunately, it can take a long time for extra water to disappear.

    Just look at what has happened in Death Valley. Hurricane Hilary dumped so much rain on the area last August that it actually created a lake, and it is still there after all this time…

    A lake has formed in an area of the US considered one of the driest places on earth seven months after it was battered by storms. Death Valley National Park, California, holds the record for the hottest temperature ever recorded on July 10, 1913, according to the World Meteorological Organization, at 134 degrees.

    However, despite being the driest place in North America, a lake which formed after Hurricane Hilary in August 2023 has yet to fully dry up. Death Valley typically receives about 2 inches of rain per year, however, the official weather gauge at Furnace Creek has measured 4.9 inches in the past six months. On August 20 last year, over a years worth of rain fell in one day with 2.2 inches being measured.

    I never would have imagined it would be possible for a lake to exist in Death Valley for six months.

    But we do not live in normal times.

    Speaking of that, we are being warned that the Gulf Stream is in danger of shutting down in the not too distant future…

    In the 2004 film The Day After Tomorrow, humanity is plunged into a nightmarish international storm that sends the planet into a new ice age.

    And although the blockbuster was consigned to the realms of sci-fi, the science behind the frightening scenario is true.

    In a matter of years, melting glaciers could shut down the Gulf Stream – the system of currents that brings warmth to the northern hemisphere, experts say.

    Without this additional heat source, average temperatures could drop by several degrees in North America, parts of Asia and Europe, and people would see ‘severe and cascading consequences around the world’.

    Can you imagine what our world would look like if that actually happened?

    Much of Europe and North America would no longer be able to grow crops, and global famine would be guaranteed.

    A lot of people would rather not think about such matters.

    But just because things have been a certain way in the past does not mean that they will continue to be that way in the future.

    We really are on the verge of apocalyptic times, and global events will soon turn all of our lives completely upside down.

    Sadly, most of the population isn’t paying much attention to what is happening, and for the moment ignorance is bliss.
