posting pdfs

I am unable to post pdfs anylonger.
Each time I try I get this as a reply :
user quota exceeded ( space 359)

Try deleting some of your old attachments (not necessarily PDFs). It seems each user has a space quota for all his attachments combined. Or I can post it to your thread, or you can link to the thread where I posted it.

Thanks metaw . It may well have to do with several pps I posted in the garden thread as those take memory .
I wonder if the space we are allowed to have runs per year or once for all .
Will have to wait mercuriel's return to sort that out.
I'll will remove the ppses and see what happens .

I tried to delete 2 pdfs from my garden thread without success :(
I press " delete " next to the pdf file and get an answer back that
this could'nt be done.

Thanks for this .. usefull link.
However I can't check out my ppses there and I see these are the files that burned out my allotted space .
I may well need to wait for mercuriel's return to handle this.

It says there that our space storage is 20MB. Maybe there is some kind of pagination and your PPS are on other pages. I only have 3 attachments so I dont see any pagination but maybe you do.

The total memory of my ppses amount to about 16 megas .
The rest belongs to the oil spill thread and I don't want
to remove those.
The ppses appear on the link you gave me but the square box one
has to check to delete them does'nt work .
All my other attachements I could delete if I wanted to but I
don't as explained above .
There is a feature on the link that says " download " but I imagine
this will not change anything if I use it .

We might have a bug here. I'll make a test.

Edit: it works for me. I can attach and delete a pps.

Looking back at the link you gave me I see I also posted a pdf that I can't delete either .

You can also edit the post with the attachment and there is a button to delete it in the edit page. Maybe this one will work.

Well this is what I had done before you gave me that link and it did'nt work either .

Your Storage shows the follwing ATM (Used : 32.65 Mb on 40.04 Mb)

I bumped it up to 40.04 Mbs when You Hit the 30 Mb Limit I'd set. How Big is this Attachment that You want to Attach ?

It's on my desktop and it says 1,5 Mo Mercuriel.
And the other file I wanted to post the other day is 6,8 Mo .
Both were refused when I tried to add them :(

I noticed my memory package has been used up by PPSes I posted a few months ago.
I would like to remove them as they were just for inspiration.
But I am unable to . That function does''nt work with the PPSes.
Can you delete them for me ?
