Prison reform.  The United States of America imprisoned more people than any other country in the world.  Our prison system is broken and there is evidence that our criminal justice system is also in need of reform.  The cost for housing someone is not getting any cheaper.  Just the opposite.   The man making this fantastic presentation is a prosecutor.  It is one of the best I have heard on this subject.  Enjoy

I know that I just posted a TED on Homelessness but I am posting another because the Trump Administration budget is cutting housing and shelters, and everything that is good and right about this great nation. School lunches for the poor?  Cut.   Social programs? Forget it. Cut.  It will take years to undo all the damage the current administration is doing to the middle and poor people in America.  
I like this program because Betty tells you what happens when they help the homeless get jobs.  Is it enough? No.  With minimum wages stuck at the current level and Republicans doing everything possible to prevent any change, nothing improves.
This is a TED talk and not a political forum so I am sorry that I have ranted.
