"Enormity Of Hillary Clinton Penetration Into Russia Warned Could Topple US Government "
    Source, with links and images:

    July 10, 2017

A gravely toned Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today states that President Putin was “astonished/amazed” after President Donald Trump methodically presented irrefutable evidence detailing how Hillary Clinton had penetrated the highest reaches of the Russian government, with his further stating that should all of this knowledge be told to the American people, it would, most certainly, topple the entire two-party government structure of the United States. [Note: Some words and/or phrases appearing in quotes in this report are English language approximations of Russian words/phrases having no exact counterpart.]

With both President Putin and President Trump during their G-20 meeting pledging to “defy the tyranny of Russophobia” sweeping across the US, this report says, the Kremlin, nevertheless, was stunned by Trump’s mastery of the knowledge regarding the “Deep State” coup d’etat ongoing against him—with Putin’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, even stating: “Accusations that Trump is somewhat incompetent or that he is a novice, can be classified as delusional trash...Trump is not some simpleton, he has expert knowledge, is a very determined negotiator and skillful at using his knowledge to put his position across.”

Firstly revealed to President Putin by President Trump, this report notes, were detailed documents showing how former President Bill Clinton, in 2010, approached Russian investment bank Renaissance Capital with a scheme that would enable Russia’s State Atomic Energy Corporation (ROSATOM) to acquire one of the world’s largest uranium producers named Uranium One—and that for their being made part of this scheme, Renaissance Capital paid former President Clinton a $500,000 bribe disguised as a “speaking fee” once their bid was made.

At the “heart/center” of this scheme, this report details, would be then US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton rapidly approving this sale because it involved 20% of America’s proven uranium reserves and would, therefore, need American government approval—and that on 24 March 2010, Secretary Clinton herself traveled to Moscow to solidify with her publically stating: “Our goal is to help strengthen Russia.”

ROSATOM’s confidence in Secretary Clinton’s being able to keep her side of this scheme, this report explains, was due to her actions the year before, in 2009, when she successfully orchestrated an shadowy deal between the Russian state owned Rostec defense firm and The Boeing Company—and that Boeing paid her money laundering organization (called the largest in the world by US Senator Tom Cotton), named the Clinton Foundation, nearly $5 million for accomplishing.

True to her word, this report continues, four months after Renaissance Capital paid former President Bill Clinton his $500,000 bribe, then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton approved ROSATOM’s takeover of Uranium One—with her receiving for doing so $3.1 million in one payment, and $2.3 million in a second payment, from Uranium One’s chairman, Ian Telfer, another $131.3 million from Ian Telfer’s business partner Frank Giustra, and a further $145 million from other shareholders involved in this transaction.

To compare how successfully this scheme was, this report explains, was that while Secretary Clinton rushed through ROSATOM’s acquiring Uranium One in just four months, it took her over 2 years to approve the sale to the French government-controlled defense contractor Safran Group of the US biometrics company L-1—as neither of them paid her any bribes, but whose companies did not deal with a critical resource such as America’s uranium deposits.

Acting as Secretary Clinton’s “main/central” conduit to Russia in masterminding these schemes, this report details, was the former US Democratic Senator John Breaux—who worked on Hillary Clinton’s 2008 campaign when she ran for president, and who himself gained millions-of-dollars as an agent for Gazprombank GPB, which is Russia’s third largest bank.

Former US Democratic Senator John Breaux, this report states, is a “central/main” Clinton operative who’s important to note as in 2011, on behalf of Secretary Clinton, another scheme was enacted—and that involved John Podesta, who was the former chief-of-staff to President Bill Clinton, was a counselor to President Obama, and last year was Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman in her failed bid to become US president.

This John Podesta scheme, this report explains, involved a small American green-energy company named Joule Unlimited, and that on 18 January 2011, announced that Podesta had been seated on their board of directors—and where he was joined three months later by senior Russian officials Anatoly Chubais and Ruben Vardanyan—both of whom had been appointed by President Putin to the Russian economic modernization council.

The critical importance of Joule Unlimited, this report says, its that though this company claimed (without evidence) that it had developed a process to generate hydrocarbon-based fuel by combining non-fresh water, nutrients, cyanobacteria, carbon dioxide, and sunlight, its “true/real” purpose appears to have been a money laundering conduit to the Clinton Foundation from the Russian Nanotechnology Corporation (RUSNANO)—who, as far as can be ascertained, have flooded this small company with at least $35 million—with a substantial portion of that money going directly into the bank accounts of John Podesta.

Of one of the most shocking documents presented to President Putin by President Trump regarding these Hillary Clinton schemes to corrupt the Russian government while enriching herself and her criminal allies, this report continues, was one detailing that she was receiving “guidance/advice” on how best to accomplish her criminal acts from William Browder—who after the fall of the Soviet Union, became the largest foreign investor in Russia, but, in 2013, was sentenced by Russia, in absentia, to nine years in prison for tax evasion and for falsely claiming tax breaks for hiring disabled persons.

Hillary Clinton’s joining with William Browder, this report explains, occurred immediately after her two successful schemes involving Uranium One and Joule Unlimited were being investigated by Russian authorities—and whom Secretary of Clinton used as a cover up of her crimes to justify the passing, in 2012, through the US Congress of what is called the Magnitsky Act to imposed sanctions of Russian citizens.

Hillary Clinton’s Magnitsky Act, this report details, is named after Sergei Magnitsky, who was a tax and legal consultant for William Browder's Hermitage Capital Management that looted the Russian treasury of $230 million in false tax deductions—and even though he died in custody before his trial, Magnitsky was, nevertheless, convicted of his crimes too.

In their knowing of Hillary Clinton’s many crimes in Russia, and her growing association with the fugitive from justice William Browder, but also knowing of her plans to run for the US presidency in 2016, this report reveals, the Obama regime, in 2013, stunningly filed and indictment charging that “Russian criminals” had committed the crimes William Browder had already been convicted of—but that two months ago (12 May) the US government was forced to drop in exchange for $5.9 million with no wrongdoing admitted, and that the lead Russian attorney, Natalia Veselnitskaya, characterized as “almost an apology from the US government”. [English]

Important to note about Natalia Veselnitskaya, this report says, is that aside from being a former state prosecutor in the Moscow Oblast, she is the most knowledgeable legal authority on the crimes of William Browder—and who became so outraged at Hillary Clinton’s pushing through the Magnitsky Acts to over up her crime in Russia, she “established/created” in the US a non-profit organization named the Human Rights Accountability Global Initiative Foundation that calls for the repeal of this law so that Russian children can once again be adopted by American parents.

So feared by the Obama regime because of her knowledge of Hillary Clinton’s crimes, though, this report continues, Natalia Veselnitskaya was continually denied entrance into the US by the Obama regime—but when a US Federal Court ruled she could enter in order to defend her clients, the Obama regime had her detained for hours and humiliatingly stripped searched in London.

Prior to her finally being able reach the US, though, this report notes, Natalia Veselnitskaya employed the services of Rinat Akhmetshin to register her non-profit organization—who is a Russian-American citizen living in the US for nearly 20 years known as a “Russian gun for hire”, and whom veteran Washington D.C. reporter Steve LeVine stated about by saying: “I call him skilled because -- though I am certain that they exist -- I know of no Russian gun-for-hire who managed to run his campaigns so successfully, running circles around purportedly much more seasoned Washington hands”.

Upon Natalia Veselnitskaya arriving in the US and meeting Rinat Akhmetshin in person, this report continues, he stunningly revealed to her that both Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and Democratic National Committee were nearly entirely being funded by Russia—and that so shocked her, she contacted the British-born music producer Rob Goldstone (who has close ties to President Trump) to initiate a meeting between her and the Trump campaign.

Meeting with President Trump’s eldest son Donald Trump Jr., son-in-law Jared Kushner and campaign chairman Paul Manafort, this report notes, this meeting initiated by Natalia Veselnitskaya (without Kremlin knowledge) enabled her to detail this Clinton-DNC-Russia plot—and that President Trump assured President Putin the details of would shortly “become reality” in the US press.

Knowing that Natalia Veselnitskaya had informed the Trump campaign of Hillary Clinton’s criminal collusion with certain powerful Russian entities, this report continues, the wanted fugitive William Browder struck back by claiming that Rinat Akhmetshin was a Russian counterintelligence officer working with a former Wall Street Journal reporter named Glenn Simpson—who is most infamously known as the founder of the shadowy organization known as Fusion GPS.

Fusion GPS, this report explains, is a secretive Washington D.C. based private espionage firm with a leftist client list whose main function is in destroying populist American political candidates—and who, in 2015, were hired by a “major Republican donor” to dig up “dirt” on Donald Trump, but as Trump ascended to the Republican nomination, this donor backed away from the project, with them then finding a Hillary Clinton supporter to continue the project.

With Fusion GPS then being funded, in essence, by both the Clinton campaign and Obama regime, and a Trump victory looking more likely, this report says, they then hired a British MI-6 agent named Christopher Steele to compile a fake “Russian dossier” on Trump that was then turned over to the FBI and used as the justification to begin tapping Trump’s phone and emails.

With the Kremlin in near total shock of the enormity of President Trump’s shocking revelations regarding Hillary Clinton’s vast crimes against both Russia and the United States, this report concludes, Trump’s conviction that when the American people finally realize what has occurred they could very well destroy their present government could very occur—especially when viewed of the light of these peoples being continually lied to by their mainstream “fake news” media telling them that it was Trump who colluded with Russia—and that no evidence of this being so has ever been produced, and all claims of such a thing being so having already been completely exposed as the lies they are.

To hear liberals tell it, the 2016 election saw the campaign of President-Elect Donald Trump effectively collude with the Russian government to defeat Hillary Clinton.

Clinton Campaign Colluded with Ukraine to Sink Trump - DNC operative meeting
by Edmund Kozak | Updated 13 Jan 2017
    http://www.lifezette.com/polizette/clinton-campaign-colluded-with-ukraine-to-sink-trump/

New reports detail Democratic plotting with Eastern European government in 2016Ukrainian government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office. They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers, a Politico investigation found.

A Ukrainian-American operative who was consulting for the Democratic National Committee met with top officials in the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington in an effort to expose ties between Trump, top campaign aide Paul Manafort and Russia, according to people with direct knowledge of the situation.

The Ukrainian efforts had an impact in the race, helping to force Manafort’s resignation and advancing the narrative that Trump’s campaign was deeply connected to Ukraine’s foe to the east, Russia. But they were far less concerted or centrally directed than Russia’s alleged hacking and dissemination of Democratic emails.

Russia’s effort was personally directed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, involved the country’s military and foreign intelligence services, according to U.S. intelligence officials. They reportedly briefed Trump last week on the possibility that Russian operatives might have compromising information on the president-elect. And at a Senate hearing last week on the hacking, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said “I don't think we've ever encountered a more aggressive or direct campaign to interfere in our election process than we've seen in this case.”

There’s little evidence of such a top-down effort by Ukraine. Longtime observers suggest that the rampant corruption, factionalism and economic struggles plaguing the country — not to mention its ongoing strife with Russia — would render it unable to pull off an ambitious covert interference campaign in another country’s election. And President Petro Poroshenko’s administration, along with the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington, insists that Ukraine stayed neutral in the race.

Double Standard: Democrats Repeatedly Relied on Foreigners for Trump Dirt
    http://www.lifezette.com/polizette/double-standard-democrats-repeatedly-relied-foreigners-trump-dirt/

Media rage over Russian lawyer meeting — forget DNC, Clinton camp used research from overseas sources. While Democrats and Trump critics wax indignant about Donald Trump Jr. meeting with a Russian attorney last June, they often forget to mention that the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign colluded with a variety of foreign operatives to dig up dirt on Donald Trump.

The anti-Trump Left went ballistic on Sunday when Donald Trump Jr., the president’s son, admitted he took a meeting with Natalia Poklonskaya, a Russian attorney interested in lifting certain sanctions on Russian citizens.

For media critics seeking for months to prove "collusion" between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, the news was all they needed to cry scandal.

Perhaps no criticism was more colored by purple rage than that from Richard Painter, a former ethics attorney for President George W. Bush, who is now the vice chairman of the left-wing Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

Yet at the same time, Painter demonstrated the off-the-chart knack for hypocrisy in which Clinton supporters and anti-Trump activists often engage.

"We do not get our opposition research from spies. We do not collaborate with Russian spies, unless we want to be accused of treason," said Painter Sunday on MSNBC.

Painter went even further over the top, saying that had this meeting occurred during the Bush administration, Trump Jr. and son-in-law Jared Kushner would already be "in custody by now."

"Where is the crime? We haven't even named a crime let alone suggested that charges are going to be brought."

But such critics seem to forget that Clinton allies made extensive use of foreign agents as opposition researchers.

On Jan. 11, Politico reported that Ukrainians were in league with some Americans to sabotage Trump during the 2016 presidential election.

"Ukrainian government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office," according to the Politico story by Kenneth Vogel and David Stern. "They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton's allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers, a Politico investigation found."

After the election, Politico reported Ukrainian officials were scrambling to get back into Trump's good graces after months of trying to boost Clinton.

But it wasn't the Ukrainians who did the real dirt-digging on Trump. That was a retired British spy who was hired by Fusion GPS, a campaign-research firm hired to examine Trump. Initially, the firm worked for a Republican rival of Trump. But then Clinton used the research.

    - Media Attempt to Reignite Russian Hysteria Over ‘Nothing-Burger’ Trump Jr. Meeting
    - Press lunge to imply something nefarious in unreported June 2016 contact with lawyer on issue of adoption
    - Fusion GPS and Steele ultimately produced the "dossier," a dubious document alleging Trump was compromised by the Russian government and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The document made its way to Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) before the election. Reid accused the FBI of sitting on the document before Election Day.

When the document was finally released in January, and published on BuzzFeed, it touched off a firestorm.

Trump and Sean Spicer, then the transition press secretary, denounced BuzzFeed for running it and slammed CNN for reporting on aspects of the document. Steele, once a British spy in Russia, went into hiding.

Painter did not respond to an email inquiry from LifeZette about the use of foreign agents by Democrats.

But Michael Mukasey, Bush’s attorney general from 2007 to 2009, told CNN on Feb. 27 that it is not a crime to discuss politics or policy with Russian operatives, or any government.

“I haven’t heard anybody identify a crime that has been committed,” said Mukasey. “Where is the crime? We haven’t even named a crime let alone suggested that charges are going to be brought.”

As for Donald Trump Jr., he issued a statement on Sunday indicating he did not know who the attorney was before he met her in Trump Tower. He then ended the June 2016 meeting after he felt misled by the woman.

“I was asked to have a meeting by an acquaintance I knew from the 2013 Miss Universe pageant with an individual who I was told might have information helpful to the campaign,” said Trump Jr. “I was not told her name prior to the meeting. I asked Jared and Paul to attend, but told them nothing of the substance … After pleasantries were exchanged, the woman stated that she had information that individuals connected to Russia were funding the Democratic National Committee and supporting Ms. Clinton.”

Trump Jr. suggested the supposed information was not of any use to the Trump team.

“Her statements were vague, ambiguous and made no sense,” he continued. “No details or supporting information was provided or even offered. It quickly became clear that she had no meaningful information. It became clear to me that this was the true agenda all along and that the claims of potentially helpful information were a pretext for the meeting. I interrupted and advised her that my father was not an elected official, but rather a private citizen, and that her comments and concerns were better addressed if and when he held public office.”

Top Lawmaker Demands Investigation into Comey, Former Obama Officials for Leaks of Classified Intel
Rep. DeSantis calls for purge of Obama holdovers

    BY: Adam Kredo
    July 11, 2017

    http://freebeacon.com/politics/top-lawmaker-demands-investigation-comey-former-obama-officials-leaks-classified-intel/

The chairman of the House National Security Subcommittee is calling on the Department of Justice to launch a formal investigation into former FBI Director James Comey's alleged leak of classified information, according to an exclusive interview with the Washington Free Beacon in which the lawmaker also called on the Trump administration to purge all former Obama administration holdovers from government.

Rep. Ron DeSantis (R., Fla.), a member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and chair of its National Security subcommittee, is urging Attorney General Jeff Sessions to launch a full scale investigation into Comey's handling of a series of potentially classified memos that were leaked to the press earlier this year.

Comey admitted in testimony before Congress that he leaked these memos in order to spur an investigation into the Trump administration's alleged collusion with Russia during the 2016 campaign. Reports alleging these memos contained classified information has riled congressional Republicans and spurred new calls for an investigation into Comey.

DeSantis also called on the Trump administration to purge all former Obama administration officials still working in the government, claiming that the holdovers and their allies outside the White House are responsible for an unprecedented series of national security leaks aimed at damaging the Trump administration's national security apparatus.

DeSantis named Ben Rhodes—the former National Security Council official responsible for creating an in-house "echo chamber" meant to mislead reporters and the public about the landmark nuclear deal with Iran—as a primary source of these leaks and urged the House Intelligence Committee to call Rhodes and other former Obama officials to testify publicly about any role they may be playing in spreading classified information to reporters.

Comey's behavior warrants a DOJ investigation due to the former FBI director's admittance that he disclosed private information to the public in order to damage the Trump administration, according to DeSantis.

"Congress needs to press Sessions and other people to make sure they are investigating this because the American people need the truth," DeSantis told the Free Beacon in a wide-ranging interview. "If he did violate any laws, he needs to be held accountable. If you're violating laws in service of doing political warfare, that is just absolutely unacceptable, particularly for someone who held such a high position in the government."

Comey has gone on record stating that he "leaked in order to trigger a special counsel, which in some ways is pretty extraordinary," DeSantis noted.

Comey's actions raise further questions about his ethics, DeSantis said.

"Not only is he leaking this stuff, not only were the memos done in the course of his employment and likely government property, he may have disclosed classified information in this quest to basically wage a vendetta against the president because the president fired him and to try and create a special counsel," DeSantis said.

"This guy is really a creature of the swamp. He maneuvers around D.C. in ways that are very similar to how D.C. insiders operate," DeSantis said of Comey. "He's one of the best in those regards."

DeSantis and other lawmakers are now seeking copies of Comey's complete memos in order to review whether classified information may have been leaked to the press in violation of U.S. law.

"Comey has made a concerted effort to not disclose these memos," DeSantis revealed. "I think Congress obviously has a right to get them."

DeSantis is pushing his colleagues on the House Oversight Committee to subpoena Comey in order to obtain the memos.

Comey's actions are only one part of a wider national security scandal in which former Obama administration officials and their allies still in government are leaking classified national security information in order to undermine the Trump administration and handicap its national security apparatus, according to DeSantis.

The Free Beacon reported last week that leaks of classified information have reached an unprecedented level under Trump, with at least one leak a day targeting the current administration.

"This is not just standard Washington fair," DeSantis said. "It's happening on such a scale with this president that it's much different."

"Really, it has a whiff of people inside the bureaucracy who do not accept the election results, so they're rebelling against the elected president by leaking and doing things to damage him politically," the lawmaker explained. "It's unprecedented, certainly in modern American history. The way you stop the leaks is if people are leaking info that is classified, and that's a crime, DOJ has got to pursue that."

The ongoing leaks also are likely to spur Congress to revoke multiple laws that have authorized the federal government to conduct spy operations and surveillance on the American public, including laws governing the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, or FISA, which authorizes American surveillance operations.

"If the bureaucracy is going to weaponize this stuff, I think Congress is going to be much less willing to give them the authority to do this," DeSantis said. "It is a big deal, and if no one is held accountable it's going to continue to happen."

DeSantis also expressed confusion at the Trump administration's continued unwillingness to fire Obama administration holdovers and fill the government with officials who are more willing to implement the White House's vision.

"Any Obama holdover at any of these agencies, you've got to get them out of there because clearly they're not on the same team and particularly on the [White House] National Security Council," DeSantis said.

Former senior Obama administration officials who have been tied to these leaks should be brought before Congress and questioned about their actions, DeSantis said.

"I think Congress and some members on the Intelligence Committee can call Ben Rhodes to testify," DeSantis said. "He may be able to invoke executive privilege from when Obama was president, but he definitely can't do that in any interactions he's had since then."

DeSantis identified Rhodes and other senior Obama administration officials as being "involved with feeding journalists some of these [leaks]. I believe he's in touch with people on the National Security Council. It would be absolutely legitimate as part of leak investigation to bring him in and put him under oath, and I would absolutely support doing that."

DeSantis also chided the press—particularly the New York Times and Washington Post, which have received a majority of the leaks—for continuously relying on anonymous sources, such as former Obama administration officials.

"The press has helped facilitate this breakdown," he said. "They run stories that say former officials say, and basically that means Obama people are saying it. A lot of times these are people who are not even in the government anymore and the media will take stuff and run with it and a lot of times it's not fully the truth."

"In the zeal to get Trump on something, they rely almost entirely on people that aren't willing to raise their hand and testify under oath or name themselves," DeSantis said, adding that, "Republicans don't trust any of these newspapers."

Democrats intentionally used disinformation from Russia to attack Trump, campaign aides
    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jul/11/democrats-spread-false-russian-information-on-trum/

While the liberal news media hunts for evidence of Trump-Russia collusion, the public record shows that Democrats have willfully used Moscow disinformation to influence the presidential election against Donald Trump and attack his administration.

The disinformation came in the form of a Russian-fed dossier written by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele. It contains a series of unverified criminal charges against Mr. Trump’s campaign aides, such as coordinating Moscow’s hacking of Democratic Party computers.

Some Democrats have widely circulated the discredited information. Mr. Steele was paid by the Democrat-funded opposition research firm Fusion GPS with money from a Hillary Clinton backer. Fusion GPS distributed the dossier among Democrats and journalists. The information fell into the hands of the FBI, which used it in part to investigate Mr. Trump’s campaign aides.
Mr. Steele makes clear that his unproven charges came almost exclusively from sources linked to the Kremlin and Russian President Vladimir Putin. He identified his sources as “a senior Russian Foreign Ministry figure,” a former “top level Russian intelligence officer active inside the Kremlin,” a “senior Kremlin official” and a “senior Russian government official.”

The same Democrats who have condemned Russia’s election interference via plying fake news and hacking email servers have quoted freely from the Steele anti-Trump memos derived from creatures of the Kremlin.

In other words, there is public evidence of significant, indirect collusion between Democrats and Russian disinformation, a Trump supporter said.

“If anyone colluded with the Russians, it was the Democrats,” said a former Trump campaign adviser who asked not to be identified because of the pending investigations. “After all, they’ve routinely shopped around false claims from the debunked Steele dossier, which listed sources including senior Kremlin officials. If anyone should be investigated in Washington, it ought to be Adam Schiff, Eric Swalwell, Mark Warner and their staffers.”

That is a reference to Rep. Adam B. Schiff of California, the top Democrat on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence; Sen. Mark R. Warner, Virginia Democrat and vice chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence; and Rep. Eric Swalwell, a California, Democrat on the House intelligence panel.

By his own admission, Mr. Steele’s work has proved unreliable.

As first reported by The Washington Times on April 25, Mr. Steele filed a document in a sealed court case in London acknowledging that a major dossier charge about hacking Democrats’ computers was unverified. The entire dossier never should have been made public and Fusion GPS should not have passed it around, Mr. Steele said in a filing defending himself against a libel charge.

    About Carter Page

Other dossier targets vehemently deny the dirt thrown by the Kremlin sources.

Mr. Steele’s Russian sources accused Mr. Trump’s attorney, Michael Cohen, of attending a meeting with Russian agents in Prague to cover up their role in Moscow’s hacking. Mr. Cohen has said he has never been to Prague and was in California at the time.

One of the main targets of Mr. Steele’s Russian sources is Carter Page, who lived and worked in Moscow as a Merrill Lynch investor. He had loose ties to the Trump campaign as a foreign policy adviser and surrogate.

Mr. Steele’s Russian sources accused Mr. Page of a series of crimes: teaming up with former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort to help Russia hack Democratic computers, meeting in Moscow with two Putin cronies to plot against Mrs. Clinton and working out a shady brokerage deal with a Russian oligarch.

Mr. Page told The Washington Times that he has never met Mr. Manafort, knew nothing about Russian hacking when it was happening, never met the two Russians named by Mr. Steele and never completed the supposed investment deal.
The dossier accusations against Mr. Page surfaced during the campaign in a Yahoo News story, citing not Mr. Steele but intelligence sources. It then went out on the U.S. government’s Voice of America.

In the meantime, the Clinton campaign used the Yahoo story to attack Mr. Trump: “Hillary for America Statement on Bombshell Report About Trump Aide’s Chilling Ties to Kremlin,” blared the Clinton campaign’s Sept. 23 press release. Since the dossier was circulated widely among Democrats, Mr. Carter said, he believes the Clinton team possessed it and relied on it based on what some of Mrs. Clinton’s surrogates said publicly.

“After the report by Yahoo News, the Clinton campaign put out an equally false press release just minutes after the article was released that afternoon,” said Mr. Carter, who has tracked what he believes is a series of inaccurate stories and accusations against him.

“Of course the [Clinton campaign representatives] were lying about it with the media nonstop for many months, and they’ve continued until this day,” Mr. Carter said. “Both indirectly as they planted articles in the press and directly with many TV appearances.”

    Democrats cite Russia’s dirt

Even before the Yahoo story, then-Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, was using the Russian-sourced dossier.

On Aug. 27, with the campaign in high gear and knowledge that Russian hackers had penetrated Clinton campaign computers in the public domain, Mr. Reid released a letter to then-FBI Director James B. Comey.

Mr. Reid called for an investigation into Mr. Carter’s trip to Moscow, where he supposedly “met with high-ranking sanctioned individuals. Any such meetings should be investigated and made part of the public record.” Mr. Reid’s evidence surely came from the dossier and its Russian sources.

In the dossier, Mr. Steele clearly states that his anti-Trump accusations are from the Kremlin, which means some Democrats have been willingly repeating Moscow propaganda for public consumption in Washington.

No Democrats have embraced the Russian-sourced dossier more than members of the House intelligence committee, which is investigating Moscow’s interference in the election.

Mr. Schiff read from the dossier extensively at a March hearing featuring Mr. Comey and Navy Adm. Michael Rogers, who leads the National Security Agency.

As Mr. Schiff and other Democrats were bemoaning Kremlin activities against Mrs. Clinton, they were more than willing to quote Kremlin sources attacking Mr. Trump during the election campaign.

Mr. Schiff lauded Mr. Steele for disclosing that Rosneft, a Russian-owned gas and oil company, planned to sell a 19.5 percent share to an investor and that Mr. Page was offered a brokerage fee.

Trouble is, the 19.5 percent share was announced publicly by Moscow before Mr. Steele wrote that memo. Mr. Page said he was never involved in any talk about a commission.

Mr. Schiff was more than willing to quote Kremlin sources.

“According to Steele’s Russian sources, the campaign has offered documents damaging to Hillary Clinton, which the Russians would publish through an outlet that gives them deniability like WikiLeaks,” he said.

Mr. Schiff also said: “According to Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence officer, who is reportedly held in high regard by U.S. intelligence, Russian sources tell him that Page has also had a secret meeting with Igor Sechin, CEO of the Russian gas giant, Rosneft. Sechin is reported to be a former KGB agent and close friend of Putin’s.”

Mr. Page has said repeatedly that he does not know Mr. Sechin and did not meet with him in Moscow.

Meanwhile, Rep. Joaquin Castro of Texas, another Democrat on the House committee, lauded Mr. Steele’s Kremlin sourcing.
“I want to take a moment to turn to the Christopher Steele dossier, which was first mentioned in the media just before the election and published in full by media outlets in January,” Mr. Castro said. “My focus today is to explore how many claims within Steele’s dossier are looking more and more likely, as though they are accurate.

“This is not someone who doesn’t know how to run a source and not someone without contacts. The allegations it raises about President Trump’s campaign aides’ connections to Russians, when overlaid with known established facts and timelines from the 2016 campaign, are very revealing,” he said.

Rep. Andre Carson, Indiana Democrat, said: “There’s a lot in the dossier that is yet to be proven, but increasingly as we’ll hear throughout the day, allegations are checking out.”

On MSNBC in March, Rep. Maxine Waters, California Democrat, said she believed the dossier section on Mr. Trump and supposed sex acts with prostitutes in Moscow were true.

“Oh, I think it should be taken a look at,” she said. “I think they should really read it, understand it, analyze it and determine what’s fact, what may not be fact. We already know that the part about the coverage that they have on him with sex actions is supposed to be true. They have said that that’s absolutely true. Some other things they kind of allude to. Yes, I think he should go into that dossier and see what’s there.”

Fusion GPS widely circulated the dossier during the presidential race. The public got its first glance when the news site BuzzFeed posted it online in January, with its editor saying he doubted it was true.

One person who says he knows it is a fabrication is Russian entrepreneur Aleksej Gubarev.

The dossier quotes Russian sources as saying Mr. Gubarev’s technology company, XBT, used botnets to flood Democratic computers with porn and spying devices.

Mr. Gubarev is suing Mr. Steele for libel in London and is suing BuzzFeed in Florida.

It is in the London case that Mr. Steele acknowledged that his memo on Mr. Gubarev was unverified.

    SPIES & LIES - PART 1 - Page 21 Empty Re: SPIES & LIES - PART 1

Post  Carol Wed Jul 12, 2017 11:23 am

President Trump ripped Hillary Clinton and fellow Democrats Wednesday over what he described as a double standard for their respective associates' alleged coordination with foreign governments in the 2016 campaign.

The president has been on defense over fresh revelations of a meeting his eldest son held last year with a Russian lawyer who promised dirt on Clinton.

But Trump used his widely followed Twitter account Wednesday to draw attention to a Washington Times article claiming Democrats had used false information from Russia to attack him and his campaign.

“@WashTimes states ‘Democrats have willfully used Moscow disinformation to influence the presidential election against Donald Trump,'” the president tweeted.

He added, “Why aren't the same standards placed on the Democrats. Look what Hillary Clinton may have gotten away with. Disgraceful!”

The news report refers back to the questionable dossier -- written by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele and allegedly distributed by Fusion GPS -- which contained unverified allegations against the Trump team.

Fusion GPS, the Democrat-funded opposition research firm, allegedly paid Steele with money from a Clinton backer. The dossier eventually fell into the hands of the FBI.

The White House and Trump allies also have cited a reported meeting between a DNC consultant and officials at the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington, D.C., last year.

“If you are looking for an example of a campaign coordinating with a foreign country or a foreign source, look no further than the DNC which actually coordinated opposition research with the Ukrainian Embassy,” White House Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Monday.

“This is not an accusation. That is an on-the-record action that they took,” Sanders said.

The meeting Sanders referred to was first reported in January by Politico. The report cited a meeting between Ukrainian government officials who allegedly tried to help Clinton undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office and shared research and damaging information on Trump and his advisers with Clinton allies.

The Politico investigation exposed that a Ukrainian-American DNC operative -- Alexandra Chalupa, who worked in the Clinton White House -- met with officials in the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington in an effort to expose ties between Trump’s then-top campaign official Paul Manafort and Russia. Manafort later resigned.

“Hillary’s staff should not have taken—former Hillary staffers should not have taken the meeting with Ukrainian government,” Ari Fleischer, former White House press secretary for President George W. Bush and now a Fox News contributor, said on “Outnumbered” Tuesday.

The Ukrainian Embassy pushed back on Sanders' characterization, saying: “Unfortunately, White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee-Sanders must have been misinformed about Ukraine and the DNC.

“The Embassy of Ukraine in Washington did not coordinate with the DNC about opposition research. While some politicians who are not part of the Ukrainian government might have taken sides during last year’s elections in the U.S., the government of Ukraine did not,” the statement said.

Leaders in other countries also spoke out against Trump last year, though not necessarily in any government capacity.

The Washington Examiner reported in May 2016 that former Mexican President Vicente Fox, an ardent Trump critic, met in Mexico with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to discuss ways to boost Clinton. He was not in power, however, at the time.

The back-and-forth comes as the Trump White House tries to control the damage from revelations about Donald Trump Jr.'s June 2016 meeting with the Russian attorney with alleged ties to the Kremlin, Natalia Veselnitskaya.

Trump also posted a defense of his son on Twitter Wednesday morning and attacked the “Fake Media.”

“Remember, when you hear the words ‘sources say’ from the Fake Media, often times those sources are made up and do not exist,” Trump tweeted.

    SPIES & LIES - PART 1 - Page 21 Empty Re: SPIES & LIES - PART 1

Post  Carol Wed Jul 12, 2017 11:32 am

Some 42 pages of highly redacted documents from the FBI’s criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton's mishandling of highly classified materials paint a picture of a serious, but flawed investigation hindered by a lack of cooperation, according to a key watchdog group.

The materials, all part of the probe dubbed "Midyear Exam,” included several documents designated as “grand jury material,” indicating the potential seriousness of the investigation that would ultimately be ended by FBI director James Comey in July, then restarted for a brief period in October before being shut down for good.

Clinton used an unsecure server that some say put national secrets at risk

One redacted exchange reveals a back and forth subpoena response to the FBI from one of Mrs. Clinton's private attorneys, Katherine Turner, a partner at Washington DC powerhouse firm Williams & Connolly. In the document, Turner agreed to turn over one of Mrs. Clinton's non-secure Apple iPads and two of her BlackBerrys to the FBI.

“The new records show how badly the Obama Justice Department and FBI mishandled the Clinton email investigation."
    - Tom Fitton, Judicial Watch

But neither smartphone received from the law firm contain SIM cards or Secure Digital (SD) cards, and a total of 13 mobile devices identified by the FBI as potentially using clintonemail.com email addresses were never located by Williams & Connelly.

"We are presuming there are still 13 devices at issue,” Tom Fitton

As extensively reported by Fox, Clinton would often task aides including Monica Hanley with finding and supplying the secretary of state's never-ending demand to use non-secure BlackBerrys for all her official government work.  Some of Clinton's BlackBerrys wound up being pounded with hammers on orders by Huma Abedin after Clinton's homebrew servers went down or when news that Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal's email had been hacked in 2013 by the Romanian hacker known as "Guccifer"---Marcel Lehel Lazar.

Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch says the probe was flawed:

The new documents offer a glimpse into the lawyering ballet inside the Beltway---as this surrendering of two BlackBerrys and one iPad by her private attorneys occurred just six days before Hillary Clinton, then the leading Democratic nominee for president, testified before Congress on Oct. 22, 2015 about the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya.

In a photo captured in the Benghazi hearing, Turner and her law partner David Kendall pointedly flanked Clinton during her marathon testimony before the House Select Committee on Benghazi. Also hovering nearby was longtime Clinton aide Cheryl Mills, who was also at the epicenter of Clinton's deliberative use of a non-secure email system while she headed one of the most sensitive federal agencies in the U.S. government.

Mills, who was Clinton’s chief of staff and counselor at State, received immunity for her cooperation into the email investigation was permitted to be in the room while Clinton interviewed by the FBI in July 2016. Comey would later admit publicly that he had never heard of a potential witness representing the subject of an FBI investigation to be present during an interview with investigators.

Nearly a year has passed since Comey's then-boss, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, held her infamous tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton in Phoenix, Arizona. Eight days later, Comey announced on July 5, 2016, that "regarding the handling of classified information, our judgement is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case."

Comey made his determination despite noting that Clinton and her colleagues "were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information," and even though 22 top secret email exchanges deemed too damaging to national security to release. Some of those exchanges contained Special Access Privilege (SAP) information characterized by intel experts as “above top secret."

"They (the FBI) were played by Mrs. Clinton's lawyers and didn't care,” Fitton said. “The Trump Justice Department needs to audit this mess and figure out if the Clinton matters need to be reopened or reinvigorated."

In the latest documents dumped by the FBI, a whopping 325 pages are cited as "total deleted pages."  The 42 pages that were released and are only readable in parts include 177 redactions. The redactions include those made citing Freedom of Information Act exemptions  under (b) (7) (e) in which the information is denied because revelations could “disclose investigation techniques.“

Comey called Clinton reckless, but cleared her  (Reuters)

Now---64 days after James Comey was fired by President Donald Trump as the director of the FBI, Christopher Wray is scheduled to sit down before the Senate Judiciary Committee for the start his confirmation process.

Two former agents with the FBI told Fox News they hope that “the atmosphere is changed with a new director.”

    SPIES & LIES - PART 1 - Page 21 Empty Re: SPIES & LIES - PART 1

Post  Carol Wed Jul 12, 2017 11:37 am

In an article published a couple of weeks ago, I warned that Comey’s testimony under oath that he intentionally leaked materials for publication in a New York Times story raised serious legal questions at the time.

With new information just released, it is now clear Comey faces significant legal problems.

According to reports, at least four of the seven memos Comey drafted of privileged communications he had with the president contained classified information – not personal documents – as he contended during a Congressional hearing last month.

According to Comey’s testimony, the memos were written on an FBI computer, in an FBI van, on FBI time, and contained confidential information – in other words, in his official capacity as Director of the FBI.

This is the exchange that took place during that hearing on June 8th:

    Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.):

“So you didn’t consider your memo or your sense of that conversation to be a government document? You considered it to be, somehow, your own personal document that you could share to the media as you wanted through a friend?”

    Fired FBI Director James Comey:

“Correct. I understood this to be my recollection recorded of my conversation with the president. As a private citizen, I thought it important to get it out.”

Not so fast. Members of Congress who reviewed those memos in recent days say they are treating a majority of them – as they should – as classified documents that were deliberately leaked.

And their classified status was not ambiguous. According to reports, these memos “had markings making clear they contained information classified at the ‘secret’ or ‘confidential’ level, according to officials directly familiar with the matter.”

What is still unclear is whether any of the documents Comey leaked to a colleague which then were published by the New York Times contained classified material.

What is clear is that if the information Comey intentionally leaked was classified, this constitutes a violation of criminal provisions of the Espionage Act. And, if Comey leaked classified information while he was still the FBI Director, his conduct is sanctionable and violated Executive Order 13526 as well as official FBI policy. There are many rules and requirements governing the handling and disclosure of classified information. What’s not permitted – leaking classified information to a friend to pass along to the news media.

It’s also clear that Comey’s memos regarding the confidential and privileged information shared with the president were FBI records – not part of his personal, private collection.

According to Comey’s testimony, the memos were written on an FBI computer, in an FBI van, on FBI time, and contained confidential information – in other words, in his official capacity as Director of the FBI.

Comey testified that he prepared the memos the way he did to make it “easier for us to discuss within the FBI and the government and to hold onto it in a way that makes it accessible to us.” According to his testimony then, the memos were clearly prepared for and meant to be used by a U.S. government agency. According to reports, “the FBI claimed [the Comey memos] were all government documents.”

The bottom line: James Comey knew what he was doing and decided to play by a different set of rules.

Clearly, what Comey leaked was an FBI record, which standing alone could be a federal crime.

In addition, it had value and many courts have held that government information has value for purposes of this statute. That means there are two possible ways that Comey may have violated this one statute. So, regardless of whether the information Comey leaked was classified, his action could constitute a criminal violation of 18 U.S.C § 641.

The bottom line: James Comey knew what he was doing and decided to play by a different set of rules.

As The Hill correctly concluded: “This revelation raises the possibility that Comey broke his own agency’s rules and ignored the same security protocol that he publicly criticized Hillary Clinton for in the waning days of the 2016 presidential election.”

Comey did what no Director of the FBI should ever do – turn that position into a political weapon – in this case – in an attempt to discredit and damage President Trump and his administration.

James Comey should be held accountable and prosecuted for his corrupt actions.

Post  Carol Wed Jul 12, 2017 11:41 am

The confirmation hearings of FBI director nominee Christopher Wray come amid a new FBI document dump related to the agency’s investigation into Hillary Clinton and her mishandling of classified information.

Former FBI Assistant Director James Kallstrom said he hoped senators would raise the issue with Wray during his testimony, “It wasn’t an investigation, I always said it was a shell game.  But there was so much evidence even without a proper investigation, you know, they had a plethora of things that showed multiple felonies by Hillary Clinton,” Kallstrom told the FOX Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo.

Kallstrom says there still needs to be an investigation into the Clinton Foundation and the ‘unmasking’ scandal.

“What’s going on today with the Clinton Foundation…what’s going on with the unmasking of purportedly thousands of names of American citizens?  Where is this going?  I hope it’s going somewhere.  I hope this testimony being taken Washington by a grand jury that’s secret, I hope that’s actually going on.”

Kallstrom hopes Christopher Wray will move the FBI beyond politics and move forward with some of these investigations.

“I hope this guy is a tough guy and I hope he can do something about the political correctness that is really tying the hands of the FBI and other agencies, you know, for the last over 8, 12, 14 years where they haven’t been able to actually investigate and look at things from a motive standpoint because of politics.”

Washington Times: Democrats really do think they can depose Trump and install Clinton

    Wes Pruden's latest column..

    Link

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jul/10/another-dead-horse-another-beating/

He's trying to be funny but little does he realize how close to the truth he is.

    Another dead horse, another beating

    ANALYSIS/OPINION:

We’re finally getting somewhere. Dead horses are useless to most folks, but Democrats, rendering plants and certain newspapers are determined to follow the stink.

The latest scoop by the intrepid horse-hunters of The New York Times has led to a meeting by Donald Trump with Russians who were said to have savory secrets about Hillary Clinton for sale. This was at a meeting during what the newspaper called “an inflection point” in the late, lamented presidential campaign of 2016.

Too bad for the crack scoop artists of The New York Times, it wasn’t actually Donald Trump, but Donald Trump Jr., who manages the family real-estate interests, and what they talked about was American adoptions of Russian babies and a Miss Universe Contest, a franchise owned by the Trump interests, for Moscow. Whether they discussed shoe and bra sizes of contestants, whether the Russians promised contestants with the perfect 38-24-36 measurements so prized by beauty-contest judges, The New York Times did not say. Perhaps the newspaper is saving that for further scoops in the coming days.
It’s not clear what The New York Times was looking for in this particular dead-horse account, perhaps proof that Mr. Trump had sent a campaign team bearing a hollowed-out watermelon with microfilmed specifications for the next generation of the H-Bomb inside.

After months of huffing, puffing and promising the real goods, we still haven’t seen a smoking gun, or whatever cliche we’re using this month to describe the evidence that would overturn the election results, cancel the Gorsuch appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court, and install Hillary Clinton in the White House at last. Or something like that.

In the Times account, it was “unclear whether the Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, actually produced the promised compromising information about Mrs. Clinton.” But with smoke like that — a Russian spy named “Natalia” with an unpronounceable surname is all John le Carre would need to spin a dark tale of intrigue, with or without microfilm in a hollowed-out watermelon. Who needs fire?

Mr. Trump, junior not senior, said he took the meeting with the Russian lawyer, held at Trump Tower in Manhattan, at the request of an acquaintance from arranging an earlier Miss Universe Contest. “After pleasantries were exchanged,” he said in careful, precise, police-blotter language, “the woman stated that she had information that individuals connected to Russia were funding the Democratic National Committee and supporting Mrs. Clinton. Her statements were vague, ambiguous and made no sense. No details or supporting information was provided or even offered. It quickly became clear that she had no meaningful information.”

Mr. Trump Jr. said the conversation turned to adoption of Russian children and an American law that blacklists suspected Russian human-rights abusers. Russian President Vladimir Putin was so offended by the law that he halted American adoptions of Russian children.

“It became clear to me that this was the true agenda all along,” Mr. Trump said, “and that the claims of potentially helpful information [about Hillary] were a pretext for the meeting.”

So far, the story was another of the nothingburgers served up as appetizers for the promised porterhouse about Russian collusion with Donald Trump, senior not junior, for so long expected from the magpie media. For the record, the account noted that the president’s lawyers said, “The president was not aware of and did not attend the meeting.” But if any reader wanted to think he had, that was OK by the newspaper. If it wasn’t true, it could have been.

And it was here in the account that it was time to insert a little boilerplate. “American intelligence agencies [not identified, of course] have concluded that Russian hackers and propagandists worked to tip the election toward Donald J. Trump [just in case anyone was confused about which Trump the newspaper was talking about], in part by stealing and then providing WikiLeaks internal Democratic Party and Clinton campaign emails that were embarrassing to Mrs. Clinton.” At least here was a slice of dill pickle to reward readers disappointed by just another nothingburger.

The junior Mr. Trump broke no laws in taking the meeting; he does not serve in the Trump administration, he does not have a security clearance and he is not required by law to disclose foreign contacts. No investigator, federal or congressional, has asked for disclosure of contacts. He was apparently engaged in the “opposition research,” i.e., a little (or a lot of) dirt that is the fuel of political campaigns.

The magpie media just can’t let go of the Trump-Russian collusion story, no matter how many unearthed horses turn out to be dead. Maybe there really is the story of the century lurking in the shadow of Donald Trump, but this one ain’t it. The New York Times used to be better than this.

    Published on Jul 8, 2017
Sub for more: http://nnn.is/the_new_media | Alex Lockie for Business Insider reports, North Korea demonstrated its ability to reach the continental US with a nuclear-capable ballistic missile on July 4, but close analysis of launch footage may point to another dangerous technological development.

One AGNI-6 MIRV missile with 26 Nuclear warheads

The United States last week finished removing the last MIRV (multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle) from its Minuteman 3 intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs); these missiles will now each carry a single warhead. The move was the fulfillment of a promise the Obama administration made in its 2010 Nuclear Posture Review, which stated that it would “enhance the stability of the nuclear balance by reducing the incentives for either side to strike first.”

    http://bigleaguepolitics.com/report-insider-stole-dnc-data-five-days-seth-rich-murder-no-russian-hacker/

An in depth study of the documents published by the ‘Guccifer 2.0’ online persona by an independent researcher calling themselves “The Forensicator” concludes that the files were most likely obtained through a USB drive directly plugged into a DNC computer — not a shadowy Russian hacker.

Additionally, the report found that the files were copied five days before the murder of Seth Rich, a data analyst for the Democratic National Committee, who WikiLeaks has hinted may have been their source.

My own conversations with Guccifer 2.0 led me to develop my own doubts that the account was Russian in origin, or that it actually carried out a hack on the DNC, which I previously reported for Big League Politics.

“On 7/5/2016 at approximately 6:45 PM Eastern time, someone copied the data that eventually appears on the “NGP VAN” 7zip file (the subject of this analysis). This 7zip file was published by a persona named Guccifer 2, two months later on September 13, 2016,” the Forensicator found.

The very thorough report provides even more evidence of the theories at ‘Guccifer 2.0’ was created by someone involved with the Democratic National Committee who was attempting to discredit the impending leaks from WikiLeaks. (Guccifer 2.0, one of the Awan brothers worked for Debber Wasserman Shultz, DNC Chair, she was his boss.)

The analyst found that the transfer took place at speeds of 23 MB/s, which means that a remote data transfer over the internet would be extremely unlikely. Instead, the report states that a more likely scenario would be “that the individual who was collecting the data either had physical access to the computer where the data was stored, or the data was copied over a local high speed network (LAN).”

“This initial copying activity was done on a system where Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) settings were in force. Most likely, the computer used to initially copy the data was located somewhere on the East Coast,” Forensicator writes.

The Forensicator found that the data was initially copied to a computer which was running Linux, as “the file last modified times all reflect the apparent time of the copy and this is a characteristic of the the Linux ‘cp’ command (using default options).” The report noted that a simple explanation for this would be that the Linux OS was booted from a USB flash drive — and that the data was subsequently copied back to the same drive. Using this method, the person transferring the files would be able to download a very large amount of data quickly.

Disobedient Media reports that “the very small proportion of files eventually selected for use in the creation of the “NGP-VAN” files were later published by the creators of the Guccifer 2.0 persona. This point is especially significant, as it suggests the possibility that up to 90% of the information initially copied was never published.”

“Importantly, The Forensicator concluded that the chance that the files had been accessed and downloaded remotely over the internet were too small to give this idea any serious consideration. He explained that the calculated transfer speeds for the initial copy were much faster than can be supported by an internet connection. This is extremely significant and completely discredits allegations of Russian hacking made by both Guccifer 2.0 and Crowdstrike,” Disobedient Media noted.

As we have previously reported, a former blackhat hacker and computer expert explained to Big League Politics that it appears Guccifer 2.0 deliberately planted fake Russian fingerprints on documents linked to his persona.

“Metadata suggests it took only 30 minutes to go from a DNC tech/data strategy consultant creating documents to Guccifer 2.0 tainting them (with Russian metadata),” Adam Carter wrote on his website G-2 space.

Carter believes that someone within the DNC or CrowdStrike, the only firm given access to investigate the alleged hack, had created the ‘Guccifer 2.0’ persona to discredit the WikiLeaks release. The DNC refused to turn over party servers to the FBI, something which you would think the victim of a crime would be anxious to do to find the culprit.

“The campaign was in a desperate position and really needed something similar to a Russian hacker narrative, and one where they would be fortunate to have a seemingly clumsy hacker that leaves lots of ‘fingerprints’ tainting files — bringing the reputation of leaks into question,” Carter wrote. “Sure enough, two or three days later, Guccifer 2.0 – the world’s weirdest hacker – was spawned and started telling lies in an effort to attribute himself to the malware discoveries, etc.”

Carter told Big League Politics he believes that it was likely a misdirection effort by Crowdstrike, a cybersecurity firm that worked for the DNC, and Warren Flood, an IT worker with links to the DNC and the Obama administration. He has referred to the Guccifer 2.0 persona as a “donkey in a bear costume.”

In the Guccifer documents in question, Warren Flood appears to be the original author, while it was last modified by “Феликс Эдмундович,” which translates to Felix Dzerzhinsky, the name of the founder of the Soviet secret police.

“This was then saved as 1.doc, 2.doc and 3.doc,” he said. “Then 30 minutes later, on another computer, with MS-Word registered to the Russian name (the Soviet secret police founder that has been dead for almost a century). Each of those files was opened, had content copied into it (assumably from the original documents) and was then saved (writing the Russian name into the metadata at that time).”

Democratic and Republican lawmakers have constantly cited Guccifer 2.0 as the hacker responsible for the DNC breach, and as a suspected Russian agent. The Guccifer theory forms most of the basis for the House and Senate probes into alleged coordination between the Donald Trump campaign and the Russians.

In a response to Big League, CrowdStrike maintained that they stand by their findings — but did not acknowledge a request for comment about the accusations made by Carter that someone within their organization may have been directly involved in the Guccifer online persona.

“CrowdStrike stands by the findings and the attribution analysis of its investigation of the DNC breach. As an additional reference point, the U.S. Intelligence Community has also concluded that the leaks by the Guccifer 2.0 online persona are ‘consistent with the methods and motivations of Russian-directed efforts,’” CrowdStrike said in their statement to Big League Politics.

Guccifer 2.0 also infamously contacted Trump advisor Roger Stone, a fact which has been repeatedly brought up by Congressman Adam Schiff during his hearings on alleged “Russian meddling.”

Carter believes that Guccifer 2.0’s contacts may also have had significant motivation.

“When you know what his real intent was from that first day,and realize that he always knew he was going to be exposed as a Russian hacker eventually, you can see where his efforts to attribute himself to others was always an effort to make it so they could be discredited later (for having ties to the Russian hacker, a form of ‘poisoning-the-well’),” Carter suggested, “or create a false perception of association to hacking incidents (which ThreatConnect actually debunked him on).”

    Johnson's Comment:

Readers' Digest version: An insider leaked the documents. Seth Rich was an insider. Seth was murdered 5 days after the leak. A later leaked email of John Podesta says that he wanted to make an example of the leaker. Since it was an inside job, there is no Russia hack (except maybe John Podesta's emails, which was a fishing expedition, not a true hack). And since no Russian hack, no collusion with Russia. This is all a big bunch of huey designed to hamstring the Trump Administration and hoodwink the US public. And it was brought to you by "the Swamp."

James Comey Had Hillary's Backup Email Device The Whole Time
    http://bigleaguepolitics.com/james-comey-hillarys-backup-email-device-whole-time/

It turns out that fired FBI director James Comey had Hillary Clinton’s definitive backup email device the entire election.

Court records show that the Connecticut-based email storage company Datto handed over a “device” consisting of five or six disks to the FBI in October 2015. Insiders believe the device potentially contains every electronic communication that Hillary Clinton sent or received during her tenure as Secretary of State. James Comey spent his entire FBI investigation missing many Hillary Clinton emails and communications, according to the official version of events.

The FBI handed the device over to the State Department, which has not searched it at all.

“We don’t know what the FBI did once they had the device and the information on it. What we know is since the investigation ended in July of last year the material found on that device has been forwarded from the Justice Department to the State Department,” Michael Bekesha, a Judicial Watch senior lawyer working the case, told Big League Politics in an exclusive interview.

“I don’t know what it suggests. The State Department now has it. We know that the State Department has not gone through it. Five disks of information. It may have been six, the number changed,” Bekesha said. “They said there are thousands of records on whatever was turned over from the Datto device and eventually they will get around to reviewing those records and getting them to us in response to our FOIA.”

“Until the State Department releases the information, we will not know: what was on there that Hillary Clinton did not turn over? What did Huma Abedin not turn over? Are there emails from Chelsea Clinton on the server?,” Bekesha said. Judicial Watch continues to find new Hillary Clinton emails on a regular basis.

Citizen researcher Larry Kawa, who brought the case to Judicial Watch, told Big League Politics that the device contains “everything.”

“Platte River Networks subcontracted out to Datto which is a company in southwestern Connecticut. Datto backed up everything that was on Hillary Clinton’s server into their cloud, which is a series of servers,” he said. He believes that the device also contains backups of her voicemails and Blackberry text messages.

“They sent America on a wild goose chase,” Kawa said. “There was a hearing on January 24 and then another one on February 6. DC district court judge Randolph Moss asked the DOJ how come you never searched it? They said we were never compelled to!”

“Judge Moss ordered a rollout of all the Datto contents by September 2018, right before the midterm,” Kawa said.

Ex-CIA Analyst Fred Fleitz says "There are some people talking today that this may have been the set up by the Democratic Party to hurt Mr. Trump. That's what the media should be looking at . . . It's just such hypocrisy by the media to play up this minor, brief, one-time meeting as some kind of a scandal. It's ridiculous." "But, frankly, it's not illegal to meet with Russians, and I imagine that these Trump sons meet with a lot of people from different countries.

"I'm more concerned that this particular individual, this lawyer, may have had ties to Democrat hit men, including the person who put together this dossier of damaged information against Donald Trump," Fleitz told Tucker.

U.S. spy agencies in 2015 overheard Russian government officials talking about associates of Donald Trump – months before he declared his presidential bid – The Wall Street Journal reported.

In some cases, the Russians talked about meetings held outside the United States involving Moscow officials and Trump business associates or advisers, the Journal reported.

The intelligence agencies routinely monitor Russian espionage against the United States, including in phone calls and email, the Journal reported. Trump and his associates were not a target of the efforts, the Journal's sources insisted. According to the Journal, the spy agencies were not sure what to make of the "vague and inconclusive information" from the 2015 conversations, noting Trump was a global celebrity and businessman who produced the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in Moscow and had sold properties to Russians.

But now, investigators are taking another look at the early reports to see if they can understand them better in light of the emails released Tuesday by Donald Trump Jr., the Journal reported.

Russian Lawyer Veselnitskaya Posted Picture on Facebook from inside John McCain’s Office
Loretta Lynch let Natalia Veselnitskaya in the country under "extraordinary circumstances" for the Trump meeting.

The Russian lawyer who penetrated Donald Trump’s inner circle was initially cleared into the United States by the Justice Department under “extraordinary circumstances” before she embarked on a lobbying campaign last year that ensnared the president’s eldest son, members of Congress, journalists and State Department officials, according to court and Justice Department documents and interviews.

This revelation means it was the Obama Justice Department that enabled the newest and most intriguing figure in the Russia-Trump investigation to enter the country without a visa.

The Moscow lawyer had been turned down for a visa to enter the U.S. lawfully but then was granted special immigration parole by then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch for the limited purpose of helping a company owned by Russian businessman Denis Katsyv, her client, defend itself against a Justice Department asset forfeiture case in federal court in New York City.

EVIDENCE: Supreme Court Justice John Roberts Was ‘Hacked’ By Obama Officials

Big League Politics reports that there is evidence showing Chief Justice John Roberts of U.S. Supreme Court was “hacked” by a surveillance operation overseen by Obama administration CIA director Brennan and director of national intelligence James Clapper.

“I provided to the FBI seventeen businesses of Donald Trump, including the Trump Tower, the Trump leasing programs, all of these different programs, and including Trump himself and the various family members that had been wiretapped under these programs,” Montgomery said in a recent interview. “There has been a wiretap on Trump for years.”

"By the third week of August 2008, it was thought highly unlikely that John Glover Roberts would be able to stay in post at the Supreme Court. His fingerprints were all over a slew of incriminating papers, wire logs and the altar linens of Mammon's Black Mass."

Was Trump Jr Meeting Deep-State Setup For FISA Wiretaps?
    by ZeroPointNow - Jul 12, 2017 3:40 PM
'Nothingburger' meeting held in June 2016 - right as Obama FISA requests began...

    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-07-12/was-trump-jr-meeting-deep-state-setup-fisa-wiretaps-russian-atty-hates-president-lin

Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya who met with Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner is openly anti-Trump.
Mark Corallo, a spokesman for the president’s lawyer said that Veselnitskaya misrepresented who she was.

Veselnitskaya has made anti-Trump postings to her Facebook page, and posted a picture taken by someone else in John McCain's office in 2015.

Rob Goldstone - the man who arranged the meeting - is associated with Fusion GPS, the firm which created the debunked 'pissgate' dossier.

Veselnitskaya also has ties to Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson, who helped lobby against the same case.

The meeting with Trump Jr. is suspected to be the basis for the FISA request to surveil (and unmask) the Trump team.

Less than a week after news broke of Donald Trump Jr's meeting with Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya - the delayed "Boom" to deep state cheerleader and James Comey friend Benjamin Wittes's cryptic "Tick, Tick, Tick" tweet, Ms. Vesselnitskaya has been revealed as an anti-Trump shill whose meeting with Trump Jr. appears to be a deep-state setup used to justify the FISA warrant which the Obama administration used to spy on the Trump team via 'unmasking' - which was accidentally revealed by former Obama admin official Evelyn Farkas on live TV.

Moreover, the meeting in Trump Tower between Veselnitskaya and Trump Jr. was arranged by Rob Goldstone, is associated with Fusion GPS - the firm behind the largely-debunked salacious 35 page 'pissgate' dossier designed to take down Donald Trump, yet which failed miserably after being largely debunked.

Trump Jr. diffused an upcoming New York Times piece on the meeting by issuing a statement and Tweeting copies of the emails exchanged in the setup of the sit-down, scooping NYT reporter who had a Twitter "he broke me" meltdown.

(And just how did Sexton know about this a year ago?)
Meanwhile, Trump Jr. said that Veselnitskaya had no meaningful information and the meeting was a total dud.

    Ms. Veselnitskaya is HUGELY Anti-Trump
Her Facebook page is littered with anti-Trump posts, and she either attended or at least posted a picture from an anti-Trump rally on January 22nd, 2017.

    @JackPosobiec
Natalia Veselnitskaya is extremely anti-Putin and anti-Trump. Anyone who spends 5 seconds looking at her FB would see that

    FISA Timeline
Recall that the Dept. of Justice drew up the original FISA application to surveil the team, which was rejected outright by the court. The second application - written more narrowly, was denied in July. Finally - three weeks before the election on October 15th, the order was finally granted for three of Trump's associates - ostensibly the three who were in the meeting with Natalia Veselnitskaya - Trump Jr., Trump advisor  Jared Kushner, and former campaign manager Paul Manafort.

    Here's the plot:

    Denied Visa

Natalia Veselnitskaya was denied an entry visa into the United States in 2016, only to be overruled by a NY Court so she could participate in an lawsuit opposite fired US Attorney Preet Bharara, which the U.S. District Court of New York later granted on appeal. Why was her entry initially denied?

The actual date of the arguments in the case U.S. -v- Prevezon Holdings was the EXACT SAME date as the meeting in Trump Tower – June 9th 2016 CASE LINK -Conservative Treehouse

And as The Independent reported on Monday, the man who arranged the Trump Jr. "setup" is music publicist and friend of Don Jr. - Rob Goldstone - is reportedly linked to Fusion GPS - the firm which Democratic operatives retained to develop the now infamous (and largely debunked) 35 page 'pissgate' opposition research dossier on Donald Trump.

A spokesman for the President’s legal team told The Independent they now believed Ms Veselnitskaya and her colleagues had misrepresented who they were and who they worked for.

“Specifically, we have learned that the person who sought the meeting is associated with Fusion GPS, a firm which according to public reports, was retained by Democratic operatives to develop opposition research on the President and which commissioned the phony Steele dossier.” -Mark Corallo

    And from the Daily Caller

The Washington Post suggested the person was Rob Goldstone, a music publicist and personal friend of Don Jr. Don Jr. has neither confirmed nor denied Goldstone’s involvement.

Whoever the acquaintance was, subsequent reporting by Circa News said that members of the President’s legal team have confirmed that the acquaintance “who sought the meeting is associated with Fusion GPS.”

In closing - Why would a Russian attorney who hates Donald Trump and has ties to the 'pissgate' dossier firm - Fusion GPS, agree to provide Trump Jr. with opposition research on Hillary Clinton unless it was a setup?

MCCAIN WANTED DIRT ON TRUMP FROM FOREIGN SPY

Revealed: 'Ordinary 'citizen' John McCain dispatched a trusted aide across the Atlantic to get
dirty dossier from ex-spy after former British diplomat told him about blackmail tapes

By Nikki Schwab, U.s. Political Reporter For Dailymail.com
    PUBLISHED: 16:33 EDT, 12 January 2017 | UPDATED: 23:59 EDT, 12 January 2017

The Guardian charted the path the dirty dossier made from a British intelligence professional to Sen. John McCain and then the FBI. McCain, 80, put out a statement Wednesday saying that he was the bureau's source of the controversial dossier. The Arizona Republican found out about the dossier's existence while at a meeting in Canada and dispatched an emissary to hunt it down. He met an ex-British diplomat in Canada - now identified as Sir Andrew Wood -who in one version of events told him about the file. Wood is a former associate of Tony Blair the ex-British prime minister, and admitted talking to McCain. He issued a nuanced statement saying he did not give McCain the dossier and had 'done nothing wrong'  - but he did not deny telling McCain the file existed.

Sen. John McCain said he did 'what any citizen would do' in turning over the dirty dossier, which contained unconfirmed secrets about the president-elect, over to the FBI.

The Guardian charted the path of how the dossier came to be and how it was that McCain got his hands on the controversial documents.

The story of the dossier began with an investigative firm in Washington, D.C., being tapped by one of Trump's primary allies to dig up some opposition research on the Republican hopeful.

Shortly after the election,John McCain (right) was attending a conference in Canada and spoke with a 'former senior western diplomat' who knew of the dossier's existence. That man was Sir Andrew Wood. He issued a nuanced explanation of his dealings with McCain: 'I would like to stress that I did not pass on any dossier to Senator McCain or anyone else and I did not see a dossier at the time.' He did not deny alerting McCain to its existence

In turn, that firm outsourced the research to a 'retired western European former counter-intelligence official, with a long history of dealing with the shadow world of Moscow's spooks and siloviki (securocrats),' explained the Guardian. Yesterday, the Wall Street Journal identified the ex-spy as Christopher Steele.

By the time the contractor had started digging, Trump's primary opponent had dropped out. But the firm found a Democrat who wanted dirt on the now Republican nominee instead.

The Guardian pointed out that just because a Democrat was willing to pay for the information that didn't mean that said Democrat was Hillary Clinton's campaign or the Democratic National Committee. Sometimes donors seek out this information in order to ensure they've made a sound investment.

The contractor, who the Guardian didn't name, but the Wall Street Journal identified as Steele, reportedly found the information that he dug up to be concerning. He and another ex-British diplomat, Christopher Burrows, run their own company, Orbis Business Intelligence.

'If the allegations were real, their implications were overwhelming,' the Guardian wrote.

So over the summer he delivered the intelligence he had gathered from his Russian sources, living within the country and also in the west, to former colleagues in the FBI.

The Guardian suggested he also delivered the documents to his country's own intelligence service.

As fall approached, and he heard nothing about any FBI investigation into the documents, he was persuaded to tell journalist David Corn, of Mother Jones, of their existence.

The veteran reporter wrote about the dossier on October 31.

The intelligence agent, the Guardian reported, was worried about an FBI cover-up, as the bureau seemed to be spending most of its time and energy on an investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server.

It wasn't until mid-November, and after the presidential election, that the chips fell in place for the dossier to make its more public way to Washington.

On November 18, at the Halifax International Security Forum, McCain was introduced to a 'former senior western diplomat' who had set eyes on the documents and knew who put them together, telling the Arizona Republican that the individual was 'highly reliable.'

That man can now be named as Sir Andrew Wood, British ambassador to Moscow from 1995 to 2000. Wood told the Independent that he had met McCain, spoken to him about Trump, and about the potential for him to be compromised.

In a carefully nuanced statement he said: 'Yes I did meet Senator McCain and his aides at the conference.
'We spoke about the kind of activities the Russians can be engaged in.

'We also spoke about how Mr Trump may find himself in a position where there could be an attempt to blackmail him with Kompromat [a Russian term for compromising material] and claims that there were audio and video tapes in existence.'
He added: 'I would like to stress that I did not pass on any dossier to Senator McCain or anyone else and I did not see a dossier at the time. I do know Christopher Steele and in my view he is very professional and thorough in what he does.'

He did not however address whether he told McCain there was a dossier - and how to get it.

    Clearly, somebody did.

    Dossier of unverifiable sleaze
    Lurid sex claims (fake)

The report states that in 2013 Trump hired prostitutes to urinate on the bed of the Presidential Suite at the Moscow Ritz Carlton, where he knew Barack and Michelle Obama had previously stayed.

It says: 'Trump's unorthodox behavior in Russia over the years had provided the authorities there with enough embarrassing material on the now Republican presidential candidate to be able to blackmail him if they so wished.'

Trump ridiculed the idea, pointing out that Russian hotel rooms are known to be rigged with cameras and describing himself as a 'germophobe'.

    Property 'sweeteners'

The document states that Trump had declined 'sweetener' real estate deals in Russia that the Kremlin lined up in order to cultivate him.

The business proposals were said to be 'in relation to the ongoing 2018 World Cup soccer tournament'.

Russia 'cultivated' Trump for five years (fake)

The dossier claimed that the Russian regime had been 'cultivating, supporting and assisting Trump for at least five years'.

According to the document, one source even claimed that 'the Trump operation was both supported and directed by Russian President Vladimir Putin' with the aim being to 'sow discord'.

    A dossier on Hillary Clinton

At one point the memo suggests Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov 'controlled' another dossier containing compromising material on Hillary Clinton compiled over 'many years'.

Elsewhere in the document, it is claimed that Putin was 'motivated by fear and hatred of Hillary Clinton.' (fake)

Peskov poured scorn on the claims today and said they were 'pulp fiction'.

    Clandestine meetings

At one point the memo says there were reports of 'clandestine meetings' between Donald Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen and Kremlin representatives in August last year in Prague. (fake)

However, Trump's counsel Michael Cohen today spoke out against allegations that he secretly met with Kremlin officials - saying that he had never been to Prague.

It has now emerged that the dossier was referring to a different person of the same name.

From there, McCain dispatched a 'trusted emissary' who flew across the Atlantic to meet the source of the documents at an airport that the Guardian did not name.

The aide was instructed to look for a man with a copy of the Financial Times  and that's how the individuals met, with the source taking McCain's emissary back to his house and giving the American a copy of the documents.

Within 24 hours, the dossier was in Washington, though the contents of the file couldn't be verified without an investigation.
McCain, the Guardian said, was worried that his actions might be interpreted as revenge for some of the controversial comments Trump made about him – such as knocking the fact that the longtime senator had been a prisoner of war. However, McCain decided to hand over the documents to FBI Director James Comey on December 9.

'Upon examination of the contents, and unable to make a judgment about their accuracy, I delivered the information to the Director of the FBI,' McCain said Wednesday in a statement about that matter.

'That has been the extent of my contact with the FBI or any other government agency regarding this issue,' McCain said.

BACKGROUND: WHO IS SIR ANDREW WOOD?

Sir Andrew Wood's five years as British Ambassador to Russia coincided with the arrival of Vladimir Putin first as FSB security service chief then premier, and finally acting president.

He was in charge of the UK embassy across the Moscow River from the Kremlin during some of the most momentous and fraught times in post-Soviet Russia.

He saw the decline of the ailing vodka-soaked rule of Boris Yeltsin and the rise of ex-spy Putin, and was among the first to publicly question his second bloody war in Chechnya, an early sign of the new leader's ruthlessness.

He also choreographed Tony Blair's first visit to Moscow as prime minister, briefly losing touch with the new British prime minister in the crowds on on the Moscow metro.

Known for being understated and cool under fire in his dealings with the Russians, and famed for his discretion,

Sir Andrew, now 77, represented Britain at the funeral of former Soviet first lady Raisa Gorbachev in 1999, seeing her sobbing husband Mikahil Gorbachev lean over her open coffin to give her one final hug.

A year earlier he represented Britain at the burial of the remains of the murdered last tsar Nicholas II and immediate members of his family, which had been dug from a mineshaft in a Urals forest. He witnessed Yeltsin bow his head and denounce the 'monstrous crime' of killing the last tsar - 'one of the most shameful pages in our history'.

He faced several espionage scandals during his tenure from 1995 to 2000.

A Russian diplomat was caught red handed by FSB counter-intelligence officers using high-tech communications equipment to pass secrets to British 'spies' in Moscow.

The Russians claimed no less than nine members of Sir Andrew's diplomatic team were involved in walking past the double agent with receiver devices to pick up coded messages he transmitted.

A furious Moscow initially demanded nine expulsions from the embassy, but in lengthy negotiations by the ambassador it was reduced to four. Britain in a tit for tat move threw out four Russians.

Sir Andrew also had to deal with the gruesome beheading of three Britons and a New Zealander in Chechnya, accused of being spies, and forced to make a confession, saying on camera: 'We have been recruited by the English intelligence service.'

The ambassador protested: 'It's totally absurd, everyone knows, especially in Russia, how these confessions can be obtained. Why would our special services be in Chechnya? It's not rational,'

Darren Hickey, Peter Kennedy and Rudi Petschi and Stan Shaw were installing a satellite communications system for British company Granger Telecom in Chechnya when they fell victim to the spate of kidnappings.

Earlier he worked with controversial tycoon Boris Berezovsky - who would in 2013 die in Britain in unexplained circumstances - to free aid workers Camilla Carr and Jon James, taken hostage by bandits in Chechnya, denying claims that a ransom was paid to terrorists to secure their freedom.

He was aware of the risk of sexual entrapment in Moscow.

In 1997 when then Home Secretary Michael (Lord) Howard - later to be Tory Party leader - visited Moscow, the ambassador expressed alarm at his sudden decision to go out in the evening unchaperoned by diplomats in a Lada car to visit a newly-opened Irish pub in the company of a British journalist.

Sir Andrew was also caught in a row over an expensive £11 million refurbishment of the then British embassy, converting it into solely the palatial residence for the ambassador, with Chancellor Gordon Brown complaining about the lavish lifestyle of diplomats.

Sir Andrew's led trade missions to distant regions of the country - including parts of Siberia - but he also saw the 1998 rouble crash when cowboy capitalist Russia, having rejected communism, witnessing millions lose their life's savings amid rampant inflation.

During Blair's walkabout in Moscow, the bald mayor Yuri Luzhkov sought to muscle in on event to the evidence annoyance of press secretary Alastair Campbell who barked at Sir Andrew: 'Break a line and cut him off. We're off.'

Despite this uninspiring start with the new premier, Sir Andrew later worked for Blair as an advisor on Russian investment. He also witnessed the 1996 election when Reds-to-Riches tycoons intervened to prop up a visible sick Yeltsin by bankrolling his campaign in return for ownership of Russia's most prized industrial assets.

This stopped the Communists retaking power but it was the start of the oligarch era in Russia. After retiring from the diplomat service, Sir Andrew developed business interests linked to Russia.

He became caught in controversy over Labour premier Blair's role in helping rescue a controversial £4.2 million BP deal in Russia. Earlier Sir Andrew served as ambassador to Belgrade, and in 1989 was appointed number two at the British embassy in Washington - when he is likely to have come across John McCain.

In recent years, he has been a regular at conferences in the West about Russia. He has also expressed concern at the direction of Russia under Putin. Last month he was scathing in dismissing as nonsense Russian claims to have had nothing to do with hacking the US election.

'Russia always denies bad news,' he said on Sky News. The Putin regime 'has a strong record... of this sort of behaviour'.

Why Did Loretta Lynch Grant Trump Jr's Russian Lawyer A Special Visa To Enter America?

    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-07-12/why-did-loretta-lynch-grant-trump-jrs-russian-lawyer-special-visa-enter-america

With everyone now rummaging through every document, intercept, and memo for something, anything tying Trump to Russia, The Hill's John Solomon and Jonathan Easley have unearthed details that show the Russian lawyer who penetrated Donald Trump’s inner circle was initially cleared into the United States by Loretta Lynch's Justice Department under "extraordinary circumstances" after she had initially been turned down.

Simply put, as The Hill notes, this revelation means it was the Obama Justice Department that enabled the newest and most intriguing figure in the Russia-Trump investigation to enter the country without a visa.

During a court hearing in early January 2016 as Veselnitskaya’s permission to stay in the country was about to expire, federal prosecutors described how rare the grant of parole immigration was as Veselnitskaya pleaded for more time to remain in the United States.

“In October the government bypassed the normal visa process and gave a type of extraordinary permission to enter the country called immigration parole,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul Monteleoni explained to the judge during a hearing Jan. 6, 2016.

“That's a discretionary act that the statute allows the Attorney General to do in extraordinary circumstances. In this case, we did that so that Mr. Katsyv could testify. And we made the further accommodation of allowing his Russian lawyer into the country to assist,” he added.

The prosecutor said Justice was willing to allow the Russian lawyer to enter the United States again as the trial in the case approached so she could help prepare and attend the proceedings. But just five days after meeting in June 2016 at Trump Tower with Donald Trump Jr., presidential son-in-law Jared Kushner and then Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, it seems the Justice Department had lost track of her... (as The Hill details).

Moscow attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya showed up in Washington in the front row of a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on Russia policy, video footage of the hearing shows.

She also helped arrange an event at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. where pro-Russian supporters showed a movie that challenged the underpinnings of the U.S. human rights law known as the Magnitysky Act, which Russian leader Vladimir Putin has reviled and tried to reverse. About 80 people, including congressional staffers and State Department employees attended the viewing at the Newseum.

At least five congressional staffers and State Department officials attended that movie showing, according to a Foreign Agent Registration Act complaint filed with the Justice Department about Veselnitskaya’s efforts.

All of which was a far cry from the narrow reason the U.S. government initially gave for allowing Veselnitskaya into the U.S. in late 2015, according to federal court records.

“There’s zero doubt that she and her U.S. colleagues were lobbying to repeal Magnitsky or at least ensure his name was removed from the global law Congress was considering,” said U.S. businessman William Browder, who was the main proponent for the Magnitsky Act and who filed a FARA complaint against Veselnitskaya, Dellums and other U.S. officials claiming they should have registered as foreign agent lobbyists because of the work.

Furthermore, as The Hill notes, the U.S. Attorney’s office in New York confirmed Wednesday to The Hill that it let Veselnitskaya into the country on a grant of immigration parole from October 2015 to early January 2016.

Justice Department and State Department officials could not immediately explain how the Russian lawyer was still in the country in June for the meeting with Donald Trump Jr. and the events in Washington D.C.

Maybe Washington is a "sanctuary for Russian operatives" City?

We look forward to the hearing where Lynch has to explain how she gave this "russian operative" special access to America, then lost track of her, only to discover her again via NSA intercepts, trying to pitch Magnitsky Act repeal to Trump Jr.

    SPIES & LIES - PART 1 - Page 21 20170712_lynch1_0

And Veselnitskaya also attended a dinner with the chairman of the House subcommittee overseeing Russia policy, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) and roughly 20 other guests at a dinner club frequented by Republicans.

Why Middle America Doesn't Care About The Trump Jr. Narrative: Reuters Explains
    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-07-12/sorry-nyt-middle-america-simply-doesnt-care-about-trump-jr-narrative

For almost a full year now the New York Times, Washington Post, MSNBC and CNN, among others, have teamed up to bring us one Russian collusion story after another.  Yet, after all of it, even including the New York Times' most recent Trump Jr. 'bombshell', they are still no closer to actually presenting any tangible evidence that anyone within the Trump administration actually colluded with the Russian government and/or otherwise committed any actual crimes of any type throughout the 2016 campaign.

And while we suspect that these media outlets somehow feel it is their duty to advance the cause of 'The Resistance' at all costs, even if it means destroying their own journalistic integrity from time to time with a few fake news reports, we get the feeling that this crusade could end up backfiring 'bigly' with the folks of middle America.

As Reuters points out today, absent any tangible evidence to the contrary, the media's breathless Russian coverage has done little to turn the pro-Trump sections of middle America against the President...if anything, it has only served to bolster their support of the President and further erode their confidence in the media.

Many of the 20 people interviewed in several Ohio towns were dismissive of the barrage of headlines about a June 2016 meeting between Trump's eldest son Donald Jr. and a woman he was told was a Russian government lawyer who might have damaging information about Democratic election rival Hillary Clinton.

In Little Hocking, Ohio, Lisa Walker, 54, runs a small thrift shop. Wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with the American flag, she says her husband has expressed fears that somebody is going to try and assassinate Trump.

She and her husband voted for Trump. She has followed the revelations about the younger Trump on the news. She sees the Russia investigation as proof that "people are out to get Trump. I would hope they have better things to do than play games and attack Trump."

Similarly, in Jackson and Piketon, Ohio, Donald Trump Jr.'s troubles appeared to strengthen support for his father and Trump family members who many in the area see as embattled victims.

In Hillsboro, the county seat of Highland County, the editor of the Hillsboro Times Gazette, Gary Abernathy, says many people in the county believe the media is trying to destroy Trump.

"Many people in the country believe the media is trying to destroy Trump.  I don't mind Donald Trump being treated critically or aggressively, but not in a way that is an effort to drag him down. Donald Trump Jr. had one 20 minute meeting with a lawyer from Russia and it's wall-to-wall coverage."

In reality, it's quite obvious that the media's mass hysteria is really only serving to bolster 'The Resistance' in the major metro areas of the country.  But, as Democrats should have learned by now, rallying the disaffected liberal voters of New York and California is not going to win any national elections.

    SPIES & LIES - PART 1 - Page 21 Empty Re: SPIES & LIES - PART 1

That meeting has, in the last week, caused massive headaches for the Trump White House, with the revelation that an intermediary told the president's son the attorney had dirt on Hillary Clinton, supposedly as part of the Russian government's bid to help his dad.

But as lawmakers from both parties are scrutinizing the Trump family over the contacts, one powerful senator is pressing to find out how attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya was in the country at all.

Well before the June 9, 2016, meeting, she was denied a visa to enter the U.S. in 2015, according to court filings first reported by the Daily Beast. She was granted a “parole” to be in the country from October 2015 through early January 2016. However, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York told Fox News on Thursday that their office did not extend that status.

“She was not granted a second parole by our office,” office spokesman James Margolin told Fox News in an email. “Her case-related immigration parole ended early in 2016, and it was not renewed by us.”

Veselnitskaya’s Facebook posts and documented meetings show that she remained in the United States well after her initial parole expired in early January 2016. This includes photos of New York City’s Columbus Circle well into February, raising questions as to how she was allowed to be in the country at that time -- and for her meeting with Trump Jr. as well as a trip to Washington, D.C. days after. Campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner also attended that meeting.

“She shouldn’t have been in the country,” Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, told “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday. “I think the lady Russian lawyer that was there in that meeting, I’ve written to [The State Department and Department of Homeland Security] to find out what she was doing in the country when presumably either her visa or parole expired.”

A spokesman for the Senate Judiciary Committee told Fox News that they had yet to receive a response.

The State Department did not confirm or deny that Veselnitskaya even applied for a visa, but told Fox News that the department is prohibited by the Immigration and Nationality Act from discussing individual visa cases. The State Department did, however, tell Fox News that all visa applications are adjudicated on a case-by-case basis.

The Hill reported on Wednesday that it was the Obama Department of Justice that granted Veselnitskaya her temporary parole allowing her into the country to help a client on a court case in the New York federal court.

In court documents, the attorney acknowledged she had "applied for a visa to enter the United States, but was denied."

She continues, “However, the United States did issue a parole letter for me to enter the United States in order to help defend this lawsuit. Nevertheless, I have been harassed by the Government despite being paroled into the United States.”

In the same documents, she confirmed that her request to extend her parole, which expired Jan. 7 2016, was denied a few days before that deadline.

Unclear is how she was in the U.S. several months later and which agency under the Obama administration officially granted Veselnitskaya parole at the outset. The Hill reports it was approved by then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

GRASSLEY PROBING HOW RUSSIAN LAWYER GOT INTO US AFTER VISA DENIAL

According to the State Department, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is the agency under which purview of parole falls.

Acting Chief of Media Relations for USCIS Gillian Christensen told Fox News that parole is granted “sparingly” and in “extraordinary circumstances,” including urgent humanitarian reasons, such as a medical or family emergency. The official also told Fox News that parole may be requested for a person who “believes his or her presence in the United States will be a significant public benefit,” and cited participation in a civil court case as an example.

Veselnitskaya was working as an attorney for a Cyprus-based real estate holdings company called Prevezon, run by Denis Katsyv, son of Pyotr Katsyv, one of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s closest advisers, and was given “unlimited resources” by the Kremlin-connected group to run a campaign to get the Magnitsky Act repealed, Fox News reported Wednesday. The Magnitsky Act enacts sanctions on certain Russian officials as a punishment for human rights violations.

“Parole allows an individual to enter the United States and remain for a temporary period corresponding to the reason parole was approved,” Christensen told Fox News. “Parole is generally not authorized for more than one year.”

WikiLeaks Exposes CIA Hacking Tool Able to Intercept, Redirect SMS on Android
    https://sputniknews.com/science/201707131055504019-wikileaks-cia-sms-android/

The WikiLeaks whistleblowing platform released on Thursday new documents from the so-called Vault 7 plan, which contained information on a CIA project that targets SMS messages sent and received on Android devices.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — WikiLeaks released what appears to be a user’s guide for the HighRise project.

"Today, July 13th 2017, WikiLeaks publishes documents from the Highrise project of the CIA. HighRise is an Android application designed for mobile devices running Android 4.0 to 4.3. It provides a redirector function for SMS messaging that could be used by a number of IOC tools that use SMS messages for communication between implants and listening posts," WikiLeaks said in a statement.

The CIA seal is seen displayed before President Barack Obama speaks at the CIA Headquarters in Langley, Va., Wednesday, April 13, 2016

Assange Calls CIA Most 'Dangerously Incompetent' Spy Agency, Accuses it of Funding Terrorists

IOC, or inversion of control, is a design principle in software engineering, in which portions of a computer program receive control flow from the software framework. According to WikiLeaks, the HighRise is an implant that proxies incoming and outgoing SMS messages of the implant’s host to an internet listening post (LP) and provides a secure communications channel between the HighRise field operator and the LP.

The first batch from the Vault 7 unprecedentedly large archive of CIA-related classified documents was released by the whistleblowing website in March, and it contained a total of 8,761 documents. The latest release, dedicated to two separate CIA projects targeting network protocols on different operating systems, occurred on July 6.

Pay to Play? How the Clintons Longstanding Ukrainian Donor Allegedly Sponsored Hillary's Run
    https://sputniknews.com/politics/201707131055521024-clinton-pinchuk-presidential-run/

CyberBerkut hackers believe that the Clinton Foundation's donor Victor Pinchuk, a son-in-law of former Ukrainian President Kuchma, could have been behind the money laundering scheme involving IMF funds intended for Ukraine. The hackers alleged that these funds were then redistributed to the Clinton charity through offshores.

'Bad News for Kiev': What if US 'Digs Into' Ukraine's Alleged Meddling in 2016 Election?

While the American mainstream media is struggling to find Russian "traces" in the US 2016 presidential campaign, the story of the Ukrainian interference in the election remains largely neglected. During his testimony at the Senate Confirmation Hearing on Russia future FBI Director Christopher Wray said that he would be interested in looking into Kiev's alleged meddling in the electoral process in the United States.

For her part, Deputy White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said earlier that there was "real collusion" between the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Ukraine during the campaign.

On July 12 the CyberBerkut hacker group released what it called the email exchange of Thomas Weihe, the head of the board of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, assuming that the Pinchuk entity threw its weight behind Hillary Clinton during the US 2016 presidential campaign. Victor Pinchuk is one of the most influential Ukrainian oligarchs and a son-in-law of former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma.

In addition, Victor and his wife Elena Pinchuk (also referred to as Olena Franchuk) are well known for their longstanding cooperation with the Clinton Foundation.

According to the Clintons' charity website, the Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation and the Victor Pinchuk Foundation established a partnership with the Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative (CHAI) back in September 2006.

"The two Foundations have committed a total of $2.5 million dollars to support CHAI's HIV/AIDS work in Ukraine over the five-year period of 2006 through 2010," the official press release read.

Still, according to Elena Pinchuk Foundation's site, her cooperation with CHAI actually started in 2004 when Elena Pinchuk, the daughter of then-Ukrainian President Kuchma, "initiated the negotiations between the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative and Ukraine."

The emails hacked by CyberBerkut have indicated that the Pinchuk-Clinton cooperation has not waned over the years.

"On behalf of CGI, we are delighted to kick off preparations for the 2014 Annual Meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative [CGI] with you and the Victor Pinchuk Foundation. We very much appreciate all of your Victor and Elena Pinchuk's continued support of the work of the Clinton Global Initiative and look forward to working with you," one of the emails said.

Furthermore, citing the Clinton Foundation's website, the hacker group called attention to the fact that "over the past 5 years the Victor Pinchuk Foundation transferred to the Clinton Foundation from 10 to 25 million dollars."

What is more interesting, however, is that "the largest tranches from the Pinchuk Foundation to the Clinton Foundation were held in 2015 and 2016," according to CyberBerkut.

"By a 'fortune chance,' Hillary Clinton fought for the Oval at the exact same time," the hacker group highlighted.

Interestingly enough, just two weeks before Hillary Clinton officially announced her decision to run for the presidency, Victor Pinchuk "relentlessly" sought to meet Bill Clinton wanting him to "show support for Ukraine," as one of the Podesta emails published by WikiLeaks indicated.

"Victor Pinchuk is relentlessly following up (including this morning) about a meeting with WJC [Bill Clinton] in London or anywhere in Europe. Ideally he wants to bring together a few western leaders to show support for Ukraine, with WJC probably their most important participant. If that's not palatable for us, then he'd like a bilat with WJC," the email allegedly written by Ami Desai, the Clinton Foundation's foreign policy director on March 30, 2015, said.

It appears that the Pinchuks and their Ukrainian allies were interested in Hillary Clinton's victory in the 2016 presidential run given their longstanding and close collaboration.

    However, that is not all.

Cyberberkut assumes that the funds given to the Clinton Foundation by Pinchuk could have originated from vanished IMF loans allocated for Ukraine.

"The Ukrainian investigation case connected to commercial banks that laundered the IMF's money from the National Bank of Ukraine is still going on. According to the investigation, such banks as Tavrika, Pivdenkom Bank, Avtokraz Bank, CityCommerce Bank, Finrost Bank, Terra Bank, Kyivska Rus Bank, Vernum Bank, Credit Dnepr Bank, Delta Bank were involved in the criminal scheme. Funds were transferred through Austrian Meinl Bank AG," the CyberBerkut site reads.

The hacker group highlighted that Credit Dnepr Bank and Delta Bank, related to Victor Pinchuk, offshored much more money than their counterparts.

"As it turns out, the offshore organizations that received the IMF's money such as Melfa Group LTD (Belize), Tandice Limited (Cyprus), Tosalan Traiding Limited (Cyprus), Agalusko Investment Limited (Cyprus), Winten Trading LTD (Cyprus), Silisten Trading Limited, Nasterno Commercial Limited, are also connected to this gentleman," CyberBerkut wrote.

"Moreover, most of the money went to the account of his main money laundering machine — the Victor Pinchuk Foundation," the hacker group suggested.

The hackers also noted that at that time (from 2014 to 2016) the Ukrainian Finance Ministry was run by Natalie Jaresko who served as the First Chief of the Economic Section of the US Embassy in Ukraine (1992 —1995) under President Bill Clinton.

"Coming back to the Credit Dnepr Bank which belongs to V. Pinchuk it is worth to mention that his supervisory board includes former IMF managing director D. Strauss-Kahn who probably still has an influence on the international credit organization," the hacker group remarked.
