    Hi All

some good options for new pc software

    http://www.techradar.com/news/10-best-linux-distros-for-privacy-fiends-and-security-buffs

these in particular are security concious and some run live systems which concentrate on leaving little or no digital footprint.

the live systems that work on using ram as memory are in particular a smart way to go :0)

it has been noted that tracking you has a lot to do with having your window maximised.

    surf in minimise

After having read some of the recent WikiLeaks CIA data dumps it appears nothing is safe when it comes to protecting ones privacy. Not even some TVs.

I agree my dear , this is why a live system for online is best. Im not so worried about the abc agencies gathering my info or metadata, im sure they would find that rather boring ..i am more concerned about the growing business of stealing from skimming on line intellectual property etc.

mind you i do all my private on line transactions on a completely separate system that is under a different name. They , as in the abc's have absolutety no idea where that is :0)

Trialing " Tails " at the moment , its pretty good. Very simple layout and it works :0)

How it works is on a live system. You essentially download the iso to a mem stick and run your applications from there. on shut down it wipes the memory and you go through a tor browser. Im really enjoying the feeling of partial anonimity. It feels free :0)

jocolor By using Thor browser you should know how to vpn your path around several IP's,
but anyhow - just by using it you activate a lot of sniffing server tools as if you have something to hide,
them using all interesting traffic just for training and stealing routines...

Browser addons like "Ghostery", "anti-tracker", " Disconnect for Facebook"/Google" ect may help better....

Normaly its just take a cool mind and some patience when those satanic servs at those agencys try to swamp your IP
with a flood of numbers and freeze your browser to stop uploads or your flow...
I have some keybord-shorts to kill tasks and then the frozen process is gone, just have to reload and do my stuff again.

Linux OS is essential - live from usb -best - live from DVD tops it all...
    Slackware with plasma5 - wow
Zorin12.1 - good to go if you delete the google/zeitgeist stuff
lets find out who is behind "subgraph" - shugartrap??? Cant say yet....

    Argh

would love to know what your key shorts are to kill synflodd's etc

subgraph looks impressive ( if you go by the site )

    but its still in alpha

im enjoying tails atm , its easy to use and its on a flash that boots up in less time a normal pc does , then when i want to flush my system i just turn off the pc and its all gone.

i used to pull out the hd and use linux off a dvd, was good but lots of holes in that version ( reb 17.1 )

its a script from fluxbox i copied from web -search killprocess.sh - into a textpage and i connected the
script to tripple Esc-Strg-Alt, so a pirathead replaces my cursor and with it i can kill any process...
Need to autorize the script to run and have rights!!!
