The Deep State & Trump Budget Politics with Richard Dolan
Catherine, The Solari Report on March 2, 2017

“The Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Financial Management & Comptroller) and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service Indianapolis did not adequately support $2.8 trillion in third quarter journal voucher (JV) adjustments and $6.5 trillion in yearend JV adjustments made to AGF data during FY 2015 financial statement compilation.” ~ Inspector General, US Department of Defense, “Army General Fund Adjustments Not Adequately Documented or Supported,” July 26, 2016

    By Catherine Austin Fitts

The deep state is expensive: secret space programs, underground bases, and invisible weaponry require both an enormous investment and ongoing overhead. How do you finance two civilizations using the budget of only one?

Since the passage of the National Security Act in 1947, the national security infrastructure has grown dramatically, funded by a two-tier tax system. One tax is sent to the IRS every April by millions of citizens and companies. The money is then spent without accountability – trillions have disappeared. The other tax is extracted daily by financial fraud, narcotics trafficking and other criminal activities and is combined with the profits of invisible skimming throughout the banking, brokerage, mortgage, and other financial transaction systems. That money is also spent without accountablility.

When politicians are elected to fix an economy devastated and drained by this financial harvesting, a major conflict arises. How can the deep state fund its secret cash flows after a new administration stops crime and rebuilds our infrastructure and communities? This conflict is the real clash of civilizations.

This conflict is not just a confrontation in Washington. This conflict relates to “full vertical power” because the swamp extends, in fact, from “sea to shining sea.” Companies and employees operating throughout America are dependent on the purchases and contracts that flow from this financial machinery and from US military and intelligence dominance throughout the world, in order to extract natural resources globally while enjoying the dollar status as a global reserve currency. In turn, stock market investors depend on earnings that flow from these companies. The people and banks managing and profiting from narcotics trafficking, mortgage fraud, and sex slavery live and work in every one of 3,100 American counties.

Leading author, publisher and scholar Richard Dolan joins me this week to review the history of the black budget and how the goals of the Trump administration may bring matters to a head. The men who built the national security state appear to have no intention of allowing their secrets to be told or their privileges to be compromised. With the credibility of the corporate media disappearing, what will these men dare to do next? Is the deep state racing to tear up the US Constitution before its deep and hidden system of finance and its mysterious source of privilege are both compromised?

In Money & Markets this week I will discuss the latest in financial and geopolitical news, including the effort by the White House to establish a safe, secure communications system. It turns out that the President of the United States has the same problem that we all have: trying to function with digital systems that have no integrity.

In Let’s Go to the Movies, I recommend an excellent interview with two highly capable gentlemen who have fearlessly risked life and limb to return integrity to our digital infrastructure, NSA whistleblowers Bill Binney & Kirk Wiebe.

Among many other topics, Binney and Wiebe address the corruption of our communications systems:

“The NSA and the intelligence agencies are exempt from auditing by the US Government….You’re head of the NSA and you’re handed somewhere between $10-15 billion a year to spend any way you see fit and nobody will check on how you spend it. It means that you can take $1 million home a month without nobody missing it and even if they did they would not follow up to see what you did with it. It’s a set up for corruption and that’s exactly what is going on.” ~William Binney, retired NSA officer

The deep state can track us and our money in real time but we can’t “see” them or their financial statements. On April 15, however, Americans are expected to keep paying even if the President does not have a secure phone line. This is another reason why it is time to enforce the financial provisions of the US Constitution – no expenditures without an appropriation and published accounts.

Interview with Richard Dolan posted last night is a blockbuster. Events in DC will start to make sense https://t.co/xFforFOHGa

This House Was 3D-Printed In Under 24 Hours At A Cost Of Just $10,000

While 3D-printing may have been faded away in recent years from the spotlight of core "disruptive" technologies, that may soon change again after a company managed to 3D-print an entire house in just 24 hours. Located in Russia, the following 400-square-foot home, or 37 square meters, was built in just a day, at a cost of slightly over $10,000. The initial house consists of a hallway, bathroom, living room and kitchen and is located in one of Apis Cor's facilities in Russia. The company has claimed that the house can last up to 175 years.

The ghost town of Gothic, Colorado is one of the coldest places in the U.S. It’s been abandoned since the 1920s, but one man — Billy Barr — has lived there in a cabin for over 40 years.

He has books, a radio and some Bollywood movies to entertain him. But with only weather and the animals as his companions, he began recording data about the snowpack to help pass the time.

What was just a hobby became an important treasure trove of data for scientists.

Post  Carol Wed Mar 08, 2017 4:19 pm

    March 8, 2017
    Santiago, Chile

It happened again-- another spying scandal in the Land of the Free.

Yesterday Wikileaks released 8,761 CIA documents detailing the agency’s hacking of smart phones, routers, computers, and even televisions.

These files reveal that the CIA can and has hacked devices that were supposedly secure--  iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.

The documents further reveal that the CIA is deliberately infecting personal computers with spyware, including Windows, Mac OS/X, Solaris, Linux, and other operating systems.

They’re also hacking WiFi routers to deploy software that monitors Internet activity, and have even figured out how to bypass anti-virus software so that their spyware cannot be detected.

They’ve also managed to make the rest of the world believe that Russian hackers, not the CIA, are behind all this malware and spyware.

It’s like a restatement of that old Mission: Impossible line-- "Should any of your IM force be caught or killed… we’ll blame Russia.”

The CIA is pretty shameless about its activities, nicknaming its various hacking programs “Assassin”, “Medusa”, and “Brutal Kangaroo”.

One of the deepest revelations is that the agency is able to hack Internet-connected televisions, including Samsung smart TVs, through a program called “Weeping Angel”.

Basically the CIA can turn your TV into a listening device, recording conversations in the room and transmitting the audio to a CIA server.

Even if you think the TV is off, it’s not.

CIA hackers have been able to spoof the on/off display and set the television to a “false off” mode.

Bottom line, no device that’s connected to the outside world is truly safe.

And future Wikileaks publications may show that the intelligence community is hacking home automation devices, Internet-connected automobiles (including driverless vehicles), and artificial intelligence like Amazon’s Alexa.

It’s hard to be shocked at this point that the government is spying on its own allies and citizens.

This is just the latest in a pattern of brazen surveillance and flagrant Constitutional violations on the part of the US intelligence community.

But that’s precisely what I find MOST concerning-- the LACK of concern over these new CIA documents.

People have such a low expectation of their government now, and have become so accustomed to the government routinely violating their civil liberties, that there’s hardly any public outrage anymore about these spying scandals.

More importantly, the lack of concern is indicative of what freedom means in the Land of the Free today.

    Here’s a great example--

Young people are traditionally the most politically charged activists in the country.

But where are the protests across university campuses demanding freedom and privacy?

It’s not happening.

That’s because university students are too busy protesting against ideas they don’t want to hear about.

At Middlebury College last week, a small liberal arts school in Vermont, a small mob of student protestors physically assaulted a conservative speaker because his ideas offended them.

They couldn’t simply skip the lecture and allow interested students to attend.

No, they had to engage in violent censorship, oppressing any idea that doesn’t conform to their narrow agenda.

The only thing these cry bullies are interested in hearing is apologetic white men groveling over their privilege.

This is the new reality in the Land of the Free: freedom has deteriorated into some gender studies professor’s socialist fantasy.

Constitutionally guaranteed liberties have become irrelevant.

Forget about “free speech”.

Any intellectual dissent from the intolerant Social Justice view is now considered “hate speech”.

And the Fourth Amendment, which establishes “the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures,” has become a distant memory.

As a child who grew up in the 80s during the height of the Cold War, I imagine there would have been widespread disgust if a similar scandal had been exposed.

Spying on citizens and allies? That’s what the Soviet Union did.

But today, everything else is more important.

Transgender bathrooms. Silencing hate speech. Forcing elementary school children to feel guilty about their white privilege. Political correctness in extremis. #everyone-else-but-white-people’s-lives-matter.

This is what dominates the social conversation now in the Land of the Free.

Privacy is no longer a Western value.

After all, people narcissistically upload their entire lives to social media (as if anyone cares what they’re having for dinner) so that Mark Zuckerberg can auction off our details to the highest bidder.

And it is precisely this decline that I find most disturbing.

Some people hold the idiotic belief that, “If I have nothing to hide, I have nothing to fear.”

This is dangerous logic, for so many reasons.

Even the use of the word ‘hide’ is ridiculous… as if the fact that I don’t upload photos of my nether regions to Instagram means that I’m “hiding” something.

We all keep things private. It’s why we wear clothing, don’t discuss our personal finances in polite company, and worry when our social security number is stolen.

But more importantly, if it doesn’t matter that the CIA is monitoring people’s most intimate moments, then does anything matter?

They keep moving the line, probing deeper and deeper into our lives and enveloping the nation inside an Orwellian surveillance state.

And it doesn’t stop... because we’re in the midst of a complete breakdown of western values.

Under river, outside time: The Woolwich Foot Tunnel Anomaly

    Gio's Cosmic Emporium - Page 25 800px-woolwichtunnellondon-e1490225072319

When the Woolwich foot tunnel closed for repairs in 2011, it should have been a routine job. The pathway had been providing pedestrians with a quick route beneath the Thames since 1912. A century on, a few minor improvements were necessary. Contractors were hired to plug holes, improve access and bring communications capabilities into the 21st Century: swapping leaky tiles for a leaky feeder.

But Woolwich residents will recall that the refurb of this much loved and much used walkway did not go according to plan. When it finally re-opened it was 8 months behind schedule, having been closed for more than a year and a half. What the average Woolwich dweller doesn’t know, however, are the unusual circumstances behind this delay.

Mention the 18 month time frame to someone who worked on the Woolwich Tunnel job and you may be met with a mysterious smile. A year and a half may have seemed a long time to those who relied on the tunnel for their daily commute. But for those who were down there beneath the river, that time-frame has a different meaning. When one contractor tells me he aged 3 years on the Woolwich job, it is not a metaphor. For, deep down beneath river and clay, hidden from those above ground, something was occurring. That something was a time anomaly.

A time anomaly, from the perspective of someone who experiences it, involves a clearly defined part of landscape or architecture, in which time ‘stops’. Years of study into such phenomena has proved largely fruitless in terms of explanations. And even less so when it comes to predicting when and where they might arise. There is some anecdotal evidence that temporary spaces, or spaces temporarily under a different use, lend themselves to time anomalies, and the Woolwich event would appear to support this.

But they are notoriously hard to define – not having experienced one, PoL isn’t about to try. The best thing we can do is listen to those that have experienced them. The following testimony is from one of the contractors on the Woolwich foot tunnel job (he wishes to remain anonymous). His words are presented uninterrupted, with as little editing as possible.

“I was one of the first ones to experience it. We were working from both ends, as it were, and had tents on both sides of the river. It was pretty basic, if you wanted something from the other side, you just had to walk it through the tunnel. Anyway the foreman’s on the other side and he radios to ask me across. So I walk through the tunnel – the ‘long walk’, we called it, funnily enough – and it’s slightly spooky because no one else is down there, they’re all working on the lift shafts, and I get up the other side, find the foreman, and his eyes nearly pop out of his head. Says he only radioed like a minute ago and how did I get there so quick? Wouldn’t take my word for it I’d walked. Reckoned I had a buggy down there or something, that it was some kind of prank.

But I stand my ground and he starts to see I’m not lying. Anyway he forgets what he called me there for. He gives me this big red plastic box, tells me to walk back over and hold it up for him when I get to the other side. So I head back down, the lonely walk back, thinking shouldn’t we be getting on with some work. When I get to the top I wave the red box in the air and radio the foreman. ‘You just left me!’ he’s saying, ‘No more than a minute ago’. That’s when I start to feel a bit weird.

    Gio's Cosmic Emporium - Page 25 London_woolwich_foot_tunnel_06
Entrance to the tunnel seen from the river source | licence

My initial feelings was I was pretty freaked out by it all. But once everyone else had experienced it, it was amazing how quickly it seemed normal. It became like a joke. It was a laugh, you know, a source of giggles. Someone said we’d invented the teleporter and were all going to be rich. The foreman stopped trusting watches and phones when we were down there, and took to using egg-timers. A few of the young agency lads tried to claim extra on their time sheets. That was the thing, though: time froze when you were down there. If you were down there for the full working day, fixing the tiling, you’d basically finish work, come back up and it would still be morning. Which was great at first – I don’t live in London so I did a lot of sightseeing, Cutty Sark, The Royal Palaces – but then we all realised how knackered we were.

It never really occurred to any of us to tell anyone about it at the time. It was like, who would believe you? You didn’t even believe it yourself. Plus it was such a wheeze. I think there was a feeling that as soon as head office was on to it the whole thing would be over. No more fun.

People started experimenting. Some of the guys camped out in there to see how long they could. 3 days and nights it was, and they still came back at the same moment they’d left. That freaked the site manager out though. He was having a nightmare with the timetables as it was. Biggest problem was making sure that if anyone from head office came down it wouldn’t look like he was sending people home ten minutes after they logged on – although that’s exactly what he was doing. Anyway he soon put a stop to all the mucking about.

Not before I had my one very strange moment, though.
