Thank you, mudra and Atehequa , these are heartwarming tubbies, indeed a true Indian heart speaking,
full of passion for life and love for our planet, our nature and tribal connection. That's what oranda is about, the core meaning
in my present work, maybe in a humorous way without any money involved, but firmly planted in the soil of the Earth, breathing
free in fresh air under a clear sky, with a warm fire in cold nights and an occasional shower to sprout the seeds of love, with a
rainbow bridge connecting the sky and the earth with all of the elements, working together and creating miracles.

Although I never met John in person, we shared in some good conversation at one of those big social networking sites several years ago. He wrote a little poem for me and advised not to kick too many rocks, especially the big ones. I first heard of him while affiliated with a somewhat local AIM chapter back in the 70s. Many seem only interested in those Indians from the past, but people like Trudell, Banks, Butler and Means are heroic modern day leaders/warriors.
