I smile about the multiplicated turtles with you on it, beneath your post, jenetta.
    A caravan?

Unfortunately I can't see this tubby, the Dutch RTL has blocked access to it.
I've checked the You Tube channel directly and found some of her performances.
I hope for her that she's not been too much taken out of her natural rythm of growing
up and finding her natural voice in all of her public appearances and the pressure of such a life.
At such a young age she's quite mallable and living up to other people's expectations.
Her mother is giving her advise, on stage, before she's in concert on that same day.
I saw in the "Amira singing in Las Vegas Texas" tubby. Not sure if this is always so.
Amira's got a long way ahead of her, before she's on the same level with Maria Callas.
Imagine those two, together, on stage, Amira at the age of 13 and Maria Callas at, maybe 65?
Who knows what a surprise would wait us, when that happened?

    No ain't a caravan...I just like turtles.

Amira is 11 now and like Jackie Evancho and Connie Talbot she has an enchanting voice. Hard to know whether she'll retain her personality and character as she matures.

The theme of a 30 year program on Dutch television called "Tussen kunst en kitsch"
meaning "Between art and cheap imitation of art" Is the word "kitsch" a universal word?
The music is composed by Joop Stokkermans, a popular composer of typical Dutch vibes,
as I perceive his music. He was a big rock in Dutch music-land, until he passed on.

Usually a pleasant location is chosen for this event, which is open to visitors with objects
to show and visitors who're interested to witness and enjoy the conversations.
People can bring their valuable trinkets and other stuff from the attic, or even from the wall
of their living room and show it to the "connaisseurs" the studied antiquairs, who than begin
to examine it and also question the owner.

The little curving corners of their mouths, combined with a slight heaving of their chests, in a sigh......
reveal the truth from the moment they lay their eyes on the object. It's a very nice game, for all.

Due to the public present, around that "game" it's done with an element of diplomacy and show,
for no one should feel offended or ridiculed. I've not seen this program for a long time, for
there's no telly in my home since 1998, but I remember it as one of the humane programs
on that screen of imagery, combined with an element of study, for a lot of insight and know-
ledge could be gained by looking and listening. The faces of owners, often show all kinds of
expressions, between pretense of indifference and great flush of expectations. Or amused.

Of course there's a sign of sheepiness present in the public standing around the table, for
the reason of being aware of the camera obviously present. Almost everybody is obeying to
the need to be seen in more or less dramatic expressions of Aaaaahhhhh's and Ooooohhhhh's,
when the owner of a valuable piece of art hears the high price of the object. It's very funny,
how talk of "money" wakes up the onlookers, when numbers are presented of value and nobody
expects it to be valuable. Or in the other direction, no value, much pump and circumstance.
Of course I was suprised as well, at times, laughing and even jealous a bit.

Lyrics to The Hills Are Alive The hills are alive,
    With the sound of music
    With songs they have sung
    For a thousand years

    The hills fill my heart,
    With the sound of music
    My heart wants to sing
    Every song it hears

    My heart wants to beat
Like the wings of the birds
That rise from the lake to the trees

    My heart wants to sigh
    Like a chime that flies
From a church on a breeze

    To laugh like a brook
    When it trips and falls
    Over stones on its way
    To sing through the night
    Like a lark
    Who is learning to pray

    I go to the hills
    When my heart is lonely
    I know I will hear
    What I've heard before
    My heart will be blessed,
    With the sound of music
    And I'll sing once more.

Soon I will travel to the S. West of the UK again and see the hills..... dressed in springtime Cheerful

The power of Music - Page 2 Empty The 10 string melody bowl and the celebration of the Elm tree by Tobias Kaye

    Post  B.B.Baghor Wed Apr 22, 2015 12:16 pm

The power of Music - Page 2 Naamlo15

"Everywhere Elms are coming out of the shadows, holding out their flowers to remind us they are not gone.
All you have to do is know what an Elm flower looks like and you will suddenly see them everywhere.
Elm is not gone from our landscapes, it is just hiding. What once was a massive tree gracing our parklands
is now a hedgerow bush sustaining itself in waiting till an answer is found to the Ascomycota fungus.

Occasionally, like this one they will grow to 30' (10m) or more before the beetle find them and introduces
the deadly fungus. Once dead they will come back from their roots, producing a cycle of growth that sustains
them in our roadsides and hedges.

The power of Music - Page 2 Xnaaml10
The power of Music - Page 2 Ynaaml10

These pictures show an Elm in flower between two oaks and close up of a cluster of Elm flowers around a twig.
In a week or two these flowers will start to fall. Then you may see how simple they are. Each flower is just one
'petal' with the seed embedded in its centre. Occasionally this seed may be red, mostly it is the same soft,
bright green as the petal. This is the week to celebrate the Elm. Join me in letting this joy into our hearts that
Elms may feel welcomed again". Tobias Kaye

    26:26 : II. Lento e largo -- Tranquillissimo

To me, this work of art is one of the most beautiful compositions of the 20th century.
Today, in Holland the WW2 is remembered and at 20.00 pm on this May 4th day, it's a collective
sharing in 2 minutes of silence. There's such sweetness in sadness and beauty as compagnons.
When I switched on the Classic Radio 4 program and at some point heard the beginning of this piece,
I was mesmerized. Almost knocks me off my feet!

Friends when you post a video copy its title too.
In that way if that particular video ever gets removed
by youtube people can always try to find it elsewhere.
    And not everything is lost.

This was recommended to me by former member metaw3.
I have been following his advice ever since.

    Corazón libre

    (Rafael Amor)
Te han sitiado corazón y esperan tu renuncia,
Los únicos vencidos corazón, son los que no luchan.
No los dejes corazón que maten la alegría,
Remienda con un sueño corazón, tus alas malheridas.

No te entregues corazón libre, no te entregues.
No te entregues corazón libre, no te entregues.

    Free heart

    ( Rafael Amor )
You have been besieged heart and expect your resignation,
The only heart losers are those who do not fight.
Do not let them kill the joy heart,
Patches with a dream heart, your wings badly injured.

Do not give up free heart, do not deliver.
Do not give up free heart, do not deliver.

And remember heart, childhood without borders,
touching the heart, life springs meat.(?)
Heart wrong with fragile strings,Wwindier than roots heart, destrózalas and flies.

Don't buy into that heart, that their voices do not confuse you,
You'll be an accomplice and slave heart, if you listen.

Go forward heart without fear of defeat,
    ......................................... life is something else.

The English song-text is a "Google translate" version and as far as I can discern, it's not entirely well done.
If any of you with a Spanish tongue can give me the right translation, I will replace this last part with your text, thank you!

The power of Music - Page 2 Empty "The magic flute" by Wolfgang A. Mozart, a theatre opera by Ingmar Bergman

    Post  B.B.Baghor Sat Jun 20, 2015 4:51 pm

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_yYxpjwRkE

Last week I stumbled upon this video and found a clown, a practical joker as well as a wise spiritual teacher in Mozart,
the composer of  the opera "Die Zauberflote" or "The Magic Flute". The Swedish filmdirector Ingmar Bergman made a
great movie of this theater opera version. I'm often favoring Mozart over Bach, for he knows how to balance a mundanity
of life with divine expressions of beauty and grace. One may find all kinds of symbols and hidden meanings in the elements
and vibes of Mozart's famous opera, if I'm right Mozart was immersed in the world of Freemasonry. I like the style of this
video with many faces of people in the audience, born on Swedish grounds.

    Morrison described his song as…
"One of those songs where you can see the light at the end of the tunnel…
I don’t think I can elaborate on it any more than that."

    [Chorus]
If I ventured in the slipstream
Between the viaducts of your dream
    Where immobile steel rims crack
And the ditch in the back roads stop

    [Bridge]
    Could you find me?
    Would you kiss-a my eyes?
    To lay me down
    In silence easy
    To be born again
    To be born again

    [Verse 1]
From the far side of the ocean
If I put the wheels in motion
And I stand with my arms behind me
And I'm pushin' on the door

    [Bridge]

    [Verse 2]
    There you go
Standin' with the look of avarice
    Talkin' to Huddie Ledbetter
    Showin' pictures on the wall
    Whisperin' in the hall
And pointin' a finger at me
There you go, there you go
    Standin' in the sun darlin'
    With your arms behind you
    And your eyes before
    There you go
Takin' good care of your boy
Seein' that he's got clean clothes
Puttin' on his little red shoes
I see you know he's got clean clothes
A-puttin' on his little red shoes
    A-pointin' a finger at me
    And here I am
    Standing in your sad arrest
Trying to do my very best
    Lookin' straight at you
    Comin' through, darlin'
    Yeah, yeah, yeah

    [Chorus + Bridge]

    [Verse 3]
    In another world
    In another world
    In another time
    Got a home on high
Ain't nothing but a stranger in this world
I'm nothing but a stranger in this world
I got a home on high
    In another land
    So far away
    So far away
    Way up in the heaven
    Way up in the heaven
    Way up in the heaven
    Way up in the heaven
    In another time
    In another place
    In another time
    In another place
    Way up in the heaven
    Way up in the heaven
We are goin' up to heaven
    We are goin' to heaven
    In another time
    In another place
    In another time
    In another place
    In another face

This musician was on Radio Somerset this morning, he explained that the reason why he smiles all the time,
while playing, is for his experience as a youthful drum-band musician not being allowed to smile when performing.
He told the interviewer, when asked about it "I guess all the pent up smiles need to come out now?"
