In our province Susan the Hydro company representatives insist they will all be installed by the end of 2012...listing your complaints to the reps. does no good or in my case it didn't...the rep played ignorant...all he could say was huh? huh? Mine isn't installed yet...waiting for the good fight. The website below is getting things together.

Hello All,

I'm current in the midst of fighting this installation. I was home the day the installer was placing these on everyone's home (during typical work hours). I told him I did want this installed on my property, and he left me with a number to call and explained that I could have my services shut off. I responded to him stating, "That in itself is a concern?" He had no words, and walked away.

Two weeks later, (while no one was home) the meter was installed on my property and I have since sent a certified letter of non-consent and refusal to their corporate and my local energy office. In addition to this action, I've had a informative conversation with the lawyer who won a case regarding this for home owners in the state of Maine. I will share more in the near future regarding this scenario. I'm very exhausted right now, but wanted to touch base and will later give everyone a bit more of a heads up on potential and effective options(though, I'm still at it).

Good gad! More crap shoved down the consumer's throat. Solar is a way out.
