Honolulu gas prices back over 4 bucks

Honolulu (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu gas prices are back over four dollars a gallon. According to AAA the average price in Honolulu is $4.01 per gallon, four cents more than last week, seven cents more than a month ago and 65 cents higher than this time last year. In Hilo, the average gas price is $4.12 a gallon, a nickel more than last week, a dime more than last month and 67 cents more than this time last year. Wailuku's average is $4.30 a gallon, a penny more than last week, five cents less than last month and 61 cents more than on this date last year.

Today, the statewide average for regular unleaded is $4.11 a gallon, five cents more than last week.
