    Post  Carol Wed Feb 23, 2011 8:14 pm

    Possible explanations someone suggested for the recent swarm of quakes in the Arkansas area.

    1. Hydrolic fracturing is breaking up the rock that holds the Eastern United States of the Madrid Fault in place.

    2. The sudden release of oil in the Gulf of Mexico and the ongoing release of material under the oceans floor.

    3. The bird kills are being done when HAARP tests it on the fault line, to adjust and fine tune their machine.

    4. Sun flares stress Earth's crust.

    5. The moving gravitational poles are also placing stress in places never before and vise versa.

    6. Volcanoes are picking up activity also as lava is being moved in large quantaties also adjusting stress levels.

    7. Earth is being hit by other sources of energies that also assists in eq's. Such as gamma ray bursts that have increased over the last year to unheard of levels.

    8. Any other planetary body that may pass by that will affect earth in any way.

    9. The earth is expanding as the result of 26,000 year cyclical gravitational pull from PX.

    Quote: On the radio this morning, I heard an announcement that Ft Leonard Wood was planning a 'fun' camping trip for soldiers and their families. The announcer said it was not unusual for such camping trips of soldiers with their wives and children to go 'camping' -- she also said they would be in cabins with heat and have plenty of food supplied. They are to prepare for the 'camping trip' in March 2011.

    Again, the full moon is on March 18th and seven solar/planets/comet alignment is on March 20th when the magnetic pull on earth will be the strongest. The three day window before the full moon begins on March 15th. Worst case scenario possible likely to occur somewhere in the time frame between March 15th through 25th.

    earthquake video - Army Corps of Engineers - NLE 2011 - Illinois plan

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=torVAO8epO8

    notice : this is planned for the area just predicted for an earthquake due to HAARP signatures...

    National Level Excercise 2011 aka NLE 2011 --- simulating a New Madrid massive earthquake in the United States midwest.

    This is the "army corps of engineers" video that was sent to me from a .mil site .

    Second is the illinois ready plan for NLE 2011.. hmm

    This will take you to another seismic map for monitoring New Madrid. This info is based out of Memphis, Tennessee if my facts are correct. This is way more detailed.

    I just what to add that the two 7 point quakes I experienced there was NO WARNING. No precursor quakes that I was aware of. They just happened. Here is some more info. on the New Madrid Fault area. Please check it out.

If you google "earthquake drill 1/26/2011" you'll find what regions are going to have quake drills on that day, including the biggest quake drill in Canadian history (in BC) and various places in the US as well. New Madrid EarthQuake Information Empty Re: New Madrid EarthQuake Information

    Post  Carol Fri Feb 25, 2011 9:24 am

    Is there a common factor between the quake off Fort Morgan on 18 Feb 2010 and the recent swarm of quakes occurring in the vicinity of the New Madrid Fault zone? You are right if the BP Mega Oil spill and the Deepwater Horizon blowout on 20 April 2010 comes to mind.

    They are all quakes similar to the disastrous 22 Feb 2011 quake that occured close to Christshurch in New Zealand. Their shallow epicentres are off the main tectonic (or intra-plate) main fault lines. There are significant differences though, especially in magnitude and tectonic plate settings. The recent NZ disaster was more devastating than an earlier quake 11 times more powerful with its epicentre on the plate margin.

    Since the 2Aug 2010 quake at Louisiana, we have been warning of more occurrences of such shallow low magnitude quakes. See figure 145-1 which shows some of the hidden series of NW-SE strike-slip fault lines typical of intra-plate movement. The fault chart (prepared in August and updated only with annotations) was only published on 10 Nov2010, Update On BP Rigs Location & the Fault Connection. The consequence of the continuing corosive erosion along these faults by leaking hydrocarbons from deep reservoirs (not only from the Macondo prospect) is the release in stresses between the upper and lower crust; resulting in shallow quakes of generally low magnitude. This was mentioned in a recent article, first written on 14 Feb and updated 20 Feb 2011.

    For millions of years, the south-eastern part of the North American tectonic plate (south-east of the New Madrid Fault line) has been thrusting in a north-easterly direction while the western half of the plate has been moving south along the San Andreas fault line. This is the main reason for the present gulf seabed morphology.

This is the main reason for the present gulf seabed morphology.

    The resultant torsion tension is reflected by the fault pattern illustrated in a previous article BP's Rigs Location & Fault Connection. Besides lateral stresses, vertical stresses also developed between the upper and lower section of the tectonic blocks due to differential upper and lower slide movement. The abnormal occurrences of hundreds of shallow and low magnitude earthquakes since the Macondo blowout are the direct consequence of the continual release of these pent-up stress zones. FEMA recently sent out RFI (request for information) to identify vendors for the emergency supply of food rations, various fuels and hydration in support of disaster relief efforts based on a catastrophic disaster event within the New Madrid Fault system for a survivor population of 7 million to be utilised for the sustainment of life during a 10-day period of operations. Is FEMA having privileged information of an impending disaster in the New Madrid Fault area, 9 months after the BP's Mega-oil Spill disaster?

    ~~~end of quote ~~~~
    What is the area extent of these continuing leakages of hydrocarbons along these faults , vaporisation of methane hydrates due to warming effect of these leaking hydrocarbons and rapid mass depletion caused by continuing sub-seabed erosion? Judging by the number of reported quake-swarms, we are pretty close to the point of no return if we have not passed that point yet.
    So far the quakes had been low magnitude between 2 to 4 on the Richter Scale. FEMA is expecting a major quake disaster similar to the recent Christchurch Quake in New Zealand. As we have seen, the shallow quakes are more devastating than a deep one at the base of the crust. The New Madrid Fault is an intra-plate tectonically stressed zone. It behaves very differently from the tectonic plate margins.
    Since these shallow intra-plate quakes had been unleashed by the drilling and blowouts at the Macondo prospect, it makes sense to monitor closely the seafloor and the continental shelf edges. Mapping the gas vents in the vicinity of these faults and shelf edges would go a long way to making accurate predictions of what to expect in the vicinity of the New Madrid Fault zone. More powerful need not necessarily be more devastating but one thing for sure, the disaster has not ended yet despite what you have been told. Christchurch was hit by a hidden fault (???)
    No one died in that early morning quake — which was 11 times stronger — mainly because it was centered farther away, about 30 miles west of the city center. It was also twice as deep as Tuesday's aftershock. Shallower quakes tend to be more damaging.
    LOS ANGELES – The latest New Zealand earthquake was a deadly combination of distance, depth and timing. While weaker than the one that rocked the area last September, it did more damage and cost lives, primarily because of its location. Tuesday's magnitude-6.3 quake was centered about 3 miles from the populated hub of Christchurch, toppling buildings, killing dozens and trapping others. It was also only about 3 miles deep and occurred during the middle of a workday when commercial buildings were filled with employees.The jolt "is squarely beneath the city itself," said seismologist Egill Hauksson of the California Institute of Technology. "All the old historic buildings are being shaken more violently than they were built to withstand." Scientists classified it as an aftershock of the powerful magnitude-7 that struck last Sept. 4.
    New Madrid is at the top of the list," Michel Pawlowski, section chief of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, said. "It's our primary objective."
    Pawlowski told a congressional committee that FEMA has "significant concerns" for the potential of a catastrophic earthquake equal in magnitude to those that struck parts of the Mississippi River Valley in 1811-1812, and again in 1895.
    The estimated magnitude of those earthquakes is 7.5 or 8. The probability of a magnitude 6 or larger earthquake is 25 percent to 50 percent over the next 50 years.
    Even a magnitude 7 earthquake would destroy more than 60 percent of buildings in St. Louis and Memphis, Tenn., because most buildings predate building requirements aimed at resisting the shock, officials estimate."
    The north american plate, also called the north american craton , is rumbling ! Verifiable today.. we've had earthquake swarms... Mount Saint Helens - Washington State SOUTH ... to... Baja California EAST.. to.. Beebe Arkansas SOUTH.. to.. Pensacola Florida and NORTH EAST .. to the Carolinas. All TODAY ! And it is still happening as I post this. You can observe for yourself a few ways... look online at "intellicast".. here's the link http://www.intellicast.com/Loc<wbr>al/WxMapFull.aspx (click on the earthquake icon) or you can download the very nice graphically enhanced EARTHQUAKE 3D program.. i've already found the safe link from CNET.. download it if you wish..
    ALERT to anyone in the midwest United States (myself included living in Saint Louis Missouri btw). I hope I am wrong, but last time I was right.. see the video for all the proof. Today there is MORE suspicious RADAR activity slightly further southeast than yesterdays "anomoly". In the above video--- I put yesterday's "HAARP based" alert forecast for an earthquake in the Flora / Mount Vernon southern illinois area... yesterday's alert was PHENOMENAL.. and it is based upon some SERIOUS "H.A.A.R.P." signatures. Today, we received another freak storm, and when I checked the radar I noticed a MUCH larger HAARP signature than the one observed YESTERDAY.. about 20 miles southwest from yesterdays spot... directly over a PAST earthquake epicenter that shook Saint Louis Missouri 2 years ago with a 5.0 magnitude quake! The last portion of the above video is the ORIGINAL prediction i made and was CORRECT on.. when I saw similar circular flares and in the SOUTHERN flare .. within 2 days there was a 2.5 magnitude (moderate) earthquake. If you know ANYONE in the midwest, please let them know it is important to prepare. Much love in these times, if you live in the New Madrid zone, prepare.. please I live in Saint Louis--- less than 100 miles from this effected area. -dutch
    There is much info growing and speculating on this. I have created a mostly text based site to document our coming days. No one here believes me, and they care not. It is sad. I am in NMSZ and may leave. Please feel free to pass this site address around.
    http://immortalisdolor.freehostingcloud.com/
    My list there on NMSZ is as follows.
    !!!CAUTION FOR MISSISSIPI RIVER AREA RESIDENCE IN UNITED STATES!!!
    FEMA NLE 2011 May 2011
    Signs of something coming...
    FEMA food supply requested for 7m
    FEMA blankets requested for 7m
    FEMA underwater body bags requested for 7m
    ready gov, ready Illinois and others producing propaganda to prepare for a major US disaster
    Anheuser Busch closes plant in Wisconsin, which is at the tip of the NMSZ following straight line from BP spill
    Anheuser Busch producing 25000 cases of water near Atlanta for disaster relief
    Reports of FEMA coffin storage in the millions in Georgia
    NMSZ at tip of Mississippi Embayment, area could sink under extreme pressure and or seismic activity
    Questionable activity from US military base in Alaska using 350 high frequency antennas, aka HAARP
    Us Media denying everything, promoting beach vacations (why promote if your beaches are about to be nuked by your gov)
    Dead birds falling from sky in Arkansas
    Gulf Shore unstable
    3,858 ACTIVE oil and gas platforms in the Gulf of Mexico
    Media no longer speaks of BP spill, military is overseeing, still leaking oil, methane, and who knows what
    Geologically, below the drill depth is, uranium, and radium
    2010 talks of explosives on ocean floor by US officials to stop leaks
    possible GOM ocean floor nuclear detonation by US Government and Military
    any scenario causes chain reaction of events from this list
    this list is growing
    US officials reading this, please stop now, too many people world wide know about this, please be advised
    Post  Carol Sat Feb 26, 2011 9:54 pm
    Thank you for becoming a member immortalisdolor and sharing this info with us. It is sad that those who need to be paying attention are still asleep. However, I do find many other people like us spread out over the net working at getting the info out. We have about 13-18 days before things get very bad unless there is a massive prayer effort that can impact future projected events. I suspect the shift (increased quake and volcano activity) will get even more active by March 4th when PX comes around the corner from behind the sun.
    The info that most don't have is that there is a volcano in GOM near the site of the leak. One can just imagine what will happen when it goes. By the way, the hills are Arkansas is where a lot of those in the know moved to as it was designated as a safe zone.
    I would like to add my thanks to immortalisdolor, and welcome. Do not be disheartened because they don't believe you. You do the best you can, and take care of yourself. If you are thinking of moving away from the NMSZ, make sure people left in your town know how to reach you by a land line, or at least directions on a paper map. That way, if needs be, you can assist. None of us want to have to say I told you so. We will be in another mode altogether by that time. I'm wondering what kind of baby formula to tuck away. And I don't even know who it's for yet...and where they will come from. Follow your heart. We're with you, keep posting.
    Largest earthquake since 1969 rattles state
    Residents across the entire state were awoken by the strongest earthquake yet Sunday night.ccording the the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), a preliminary magnitude 4.7 hit 4 miles northeast of Greenbrier just after 11:00 p.m. It was felt across the state as well as into Missouri and Mississippi. Two aftershocks where reported afterwards, a 3.8 magnitude then a 3.6 magnitude.
    So far, there have been no reports of damage or injuries.
    "We probably wouldn't see structural damage until a 5 or 5.5," says Bekki White, Director of the Arkansas Geological Survey. "What you're going to see now is pictures sway, things fall off the wall, shaking, maybe some windows break."
    The USGS is asking anyone who felt the earthquake to report it at their Did You Feel It? website.
    According to White, this 4.7 magnitude quake was felt more prominently than last week's quakes because it was at a more shallow depth. Previous quakes were reported at 6 kilometers while last night's quake was at 3 kilometers.
    Scott Ausbrooks with the Arkansas Geological Survey says this is the largest quake we've had outside of the New Madrid Fault System since 1969.
    You can take a closer look at the earthquakes and where they hit on our THV interactive radar. On the top right hand corner of the map, click "Overlays" then check "Earthquakes." There, red and yellow circles will pop up where earthquakes occured recently.
It woked my wife up and she was scared.
    These quakes are getting stronger. What will it take for people to realized these quakes are associated with gas well drilling. I guess stronger destruction and death. People need to ban together and create one huge class action law suit against these gas well drilling "evil doers." Stop pissing down our backs and telling us its raining because we never believed your plausible denial.
    WHO REALLY BELIEVES THIS IS ALL DUE TO GAS WELL DRILLING? OVER 200 QUAKES IN ONE MONTH AND GETTING STRONGER. FACT.
    The Madrid Fault line is getting ready to release. I actually think this will go first and then trigger Yellowstone within the next 20 days or visa versa. Mount St. Helen is getting ready to erupt and Kilaeua is brimming as well. Life, as we know it, for many is going through a major shift with all of the planetary expanding, quakes, eruptions, sinkholes and whatnot. Everything is happening at once. This is the key... at once. It's a cascade effect.
    As it is the Madrid area that the numerous reports of quakes are coming from I SUSPECT Madrid will go first but I could be wrong and this could start with Yellowstone. We are at a new moon now... after the 4th, the comet/PX ? is moving out from behind the sun and can be seen. It is also setting up a strong magnetic pull between it and earth. The sun will likely go into major solar flares due to it being a solar capacitor and earth's magnetospehre is weak (and has holes) which allow for the increased cosmic gamma rays to pour on through and heat up the magma. As the quakes become more shallow in some areas where the volcanoes are this means that the magma is rising to the surface. The shallow quakes and harmonic tremors are cause for concern as this generally means the tension is building up to a release. Edgar Cayce predicted this years ago and we do have maps of what the area is to look like after the changes.
    Basically, people in the area need to have a back up plan (bugout back packs, water, maps and camping gear in trunk of cars) and safe zone to go to BEFORE it's too late. They need to be monitoring for harmonic tremors. Personally, I think this would be a good time to take a camping trip to Maui for the month.
    Carol , I have a feeling that when all this starts to happen it will all be a matter of heart and soul then.
    I asked God should I prepare or not, and I received an answer: "depends".
    Depends of where you are and what will be.
    Say if you buy seeds ,where are you going to plant them if Sun is out because of the heavy clouds?
    If water is poisoned and earth shaken,
    whom will take care of your garden...and if mob comes?
    And will it be healthy because of all Earth and soil changes then?
    Then I said wow!
    I kinda thought about that but then I was told in spirit that all that matters is our hear and soul. Are we standing in light or not. Are we still attached to the old paradigm or not?
    Are we clinging to it or we want everything new?
    We can`t make a new house upon old foundations, even meaning about seeds and food. When all food runs out where we are going to find a new one in disturbed earth?
    It will be tough , but remember our choices. Will we BE in light or NOT BE in the light?
    And you know what I am thinking about. Will we align with life and love or fear and destruction AGAIN?
    You know it made me think and thinking more...
    But I got the answer...
    And Mudra this is the core of what I was and am saying all these years- connection with spirit and God.
    No one can save you if you cut your self from God. And whom is going to hurt you if you are one with God and spirit?
    Nothing really matters but that. Nothing really exist except in illusion form but that- connection with God and we as parts of God and God itself.
    Is The New Madrid Fault Earthquake Zone Coming To Life?
    The American Dream
    Jan 4, 2011
    What in the world is happening in the middle of the United States right now? Thousands of birds are falling dead from the skies, tens of thousands of fish are washing up on shore dead, earthquakes are popping up in weird and unexpected places and people are starting to get really freaked out about all of this. Well, one theory is that the New Madrid fault zone is coming to life. The New Madrid fault zone is six times bigger than the San Andreas fault zone in California and it covers portions of Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi. The biggest earthquakes in the history of the United States were caused by the New Madrid fault. Now there are fears that the New Madrid fault zone could be coming to life again, and if a “killer earthquake” does strike it could change all of our lives forever.
    So exactly what events have happened recently that are causing people to take a close look at the New Madrid fault zone? Well, just consider the following examples of things that have been popping up in the news lately….
    *According to the U.S. Geological Survey, more than 500 measurable earthquakes have been recorded in central Arkansas just since September.
    *A magnitude-3.8 earthquake that shook north-central Indiana on December 30th is being called “unprecedented”. It was strong enough to actually cause cracks along the ground and it was felt in portions of Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin and Kentucky.
    *More than 3,000 red-wing blackbirds fell out of the sky dead in the Arkansas town of Beebe on New Year’s Eve.
    *Large numbers of dead birds were also found in Kentucky right around Christmas.
    *Approximately 500 dead blackbirds and starlings were also recently discovered in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana.
    *Approximately 100,000 fish washed up dead on the shores of the Arkansas River just last week.
    So could all of these things have some other very simple explanation?
    Possibly.
    But the fact that they all happened in or around the New Madrid fault zone is starting to raise some eyebrows.
    About 200 years ago, in 1811 and 1812, there were four earthquakes that were so powerful in the area of the New Madrid fault zone that they are still talked about today. All four of the quakes were estimated to have been magnitude-7.0 or greater. It is said that those earthquakes opened deep fissures in the ground, caused the Mississippi River to run backwards and that they were felt as far away as Boston.
    The last major earthquake to hit the region was a 5.4-magnitude quake that struck the town of Dale, Illinois in 1968. Things have been strangely quiet in the region since then until recently.
    If a true “killer earthquake” struck along the New Madrid fault zone today, cities such as St. Louis, Missouri and Memphis, Tennessee could potentially be completely destroyed.
    Unfortunately, this is not an exaggeration.
    The following video describes just how incredibly powerful the earthquakes along the New Madrid fault in 1811 and 1812 actually were….
    So could such a thing happen today?
    Well, that is exactly what many seismologists now fear. The following video news report from ABC News explains why so many scientists are so concerned about the New Madrid fault zone….
    One interesting theory is that the “oil volcano” unleashed by the BP oil spill in 2010 may have sparked renewed seismic activity in that part of the world.
    Jack M. Reed, a retired Texaco geologist-geophysicist, has been carefully studying the geology of the Gulf of Mexico for over 40 years. Reed is convinced that the Gulf of Mexico is currently tectonically active, and that the Gulf of Mexico is the source for most seismic activity along the New Madrid fault.
    According to Reed, there is substantial evidence that the New Madrid fault zone is directly connected to “deeply buried tectonics” in the Gulf of Mexico….
    “This entire zone through the United States is suffering some type of tectonic activity that I believe is tied to the deeply buried tectonics in the Gulf of Mexico.”
    So did BP disturb those “deeply buried tectonics” by drilling such a deep well and unleashing all that oil that flowed into the Gulf of Mexico?
    Let’s hope not.
    If a truly historic earthquake did strike along the New Madrid fault the amount of damage that could be done to surrounding states such as Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, Indiana, Alabama, Missouri, Arkansas and Tennessee could potentially be unimaginable.
    Jeremy Heidt of the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency says that life in the region would be instantly transformed in the event of a major earthquake along the New Madrid fault….
    “All communications would be out. All air travel would be out as the FAA air control would go down. All rail travel would fail. Ports would shut down; oil and natural gas pipelines could be off line.”
    According to a recent study by the University of Illinois, a 7.7-magnitude earthquake along the New Madrid fault would leave 3,500 people dead, more than 80,000 injured and more than 7 million homeless.
    So what would happen if an 8.0 earthquake struck?
    Or an 8.5?
    Or a 9.0?
    Remember, an 8.7-magnitude earthquake would be ten times worse than a 7.7-magnitude earthquake.
    There are even some who believe that if a powerful enough earthquake hit the New Madrid fault someday it could potentially alter the surrounding geography enough that it could actually create a new major body of water in the middle of the United States.
    So, no, it is not just California that needs to worry about “the Big One”.
    Right now seismic activity has been dramatically increasing all over the globe. Just think of the unprecedented number of volcanic eruptions that we have seen over the past year. Major earthquakes have been popping up all along the “Ring of Fire”. Just over the past couple of days a magnitude-7.1 earthquake hit central Chile and a magnitude-7.0 earthquake struck northern Argentina.
    So to think that “it can’t happen” in the United States is just being totally naive.
    Let us hope and pray that a devastating earthquake does not hit the New Madrid fault any time soon, because such an event could completely wipe out our economy. The U.S. economy is already teetering on the brink of disaster, and all it would take is one major blow to bring the entire house of cards crashing down.
    Just remember what happened in Haiti. A magnitude-7.0 earthquake killed 230,000 people and caused such horrific devastation that it is still hard to even try to put it into words. The photo below shows how dead bodies were literally piled up in the streets during the aftermath of that disaster. Let us hope and pray that nothing like the scene pictured below happens in any U.S. city any time soon….
