Thought I would throw up a little light hearted thread as theres been a lot of heavy duty XXXX flying aroud latley.

This thread is to post pictures of your home town village or city. The place that shaped you. Doesnt have to be the place you live now, maybe somewhere special..whatever, lets share some pics. I'll kick off with som'e. Some nice architecture, Gardens or beaches perhaps. Lets flaunt our international community.

clearwater its exceptionaly peacefull place, I am happy for you. you are blessed.
I would go meditate here, feel it...just so right...

and i found good summary of my country that 'shaped' me...
there could be some in the mists never heard of

so much to tell about the last pagan country in europe, only a few hundred years under pope rule.
there are some old traditions still alive here and all touching nature.
very old songs remind mantras. language is latin sister still spoken alive. The big linguanists puzzle and headacke is to figure it out why many words and sentences are the same as sanscrit. for example "where is your father?" is the same in both languages even across the globe. Numbers pronounced the same, weekdays pronounced the same. i could go on and on.... :)

Two fotos I took of the Castle of La Hulpe's garden , spots I particularly liked.
The shadows are me and a friend .
The Castle is a few miles away from Brussels , Belgium where I live at the moment.

    Love from me

This is as close as I can get of nature around my home when I was a child and we were living in the country.
These were happy days where I would spend hours in the garden in deep conversation with the flowers and the insects
or on a walk on my own in the fields .
The beauty of those beings embroidering Mother's mantle with scented beads and heavenly songs was food for my Heart
, a gentle shower on my thoughts and although I did'nt know it at that time a deep connection with Home... with Love .. too.

    One moment ...

Well..its like a maze in there all around a large central concourse...little stalls on diferent levels all around the centre of this abysmal grey concrete interior. Just love the roof. All very 'Logan's Run' I observed some very strange personalities hovering around the place.

Was a while back tho 1998 0r 1999-may have changed now.
    Cheers!

Oh yes...this was the old central station...now it is being renovated and will be finished in 2012 and it will look like that

PS. Yes...I agree..always very strange personalities hanging around train stations in Poland. And at that time, I think, there were plenty of Romanian gypsies there.(or maybe they had already been gone by then).
