    Hi

I wondered if any of you here visit sott.net?

Do you like the changes? Do you miss the news as it was presented?

This week, they have changed their format and I am not a happy monkey.
Where can we get our news now? Even the Archives have gone up in smoke.

If anyone has any ideas of alternative and worthy news sites, do please let me know.

    Blessings

Hey Carol, I'm glad you found something of value in it and yes, there are a ton of great articals still available.

I will keep my thoughts private however, it's not a patch on what it used to be.
Now there is little in the way of current events, Euro/Asian News, Financial News, US News, Middle-East News and a section for Axis of Evil. All now gone. What is left, is now solely biased towards High Strangeness and New Age material.

So my question stands, where do people go for their news? coz I am no longer getting it.

eMonkey – I agree. I’ve been reading sott.net for years – always provided excellent global news; plus economics, health, etc. Now it has mostly esoteric-related articles, and I’m looking for alternative news sites. A couple of sites I’ve found useful are GlobalResearch.ca; also Red Ice Creations – they have lots of links to global weather/earth changes sites. Also, blacklistednews.com has a list of links. Still miss sott.net, though.

Well the all time standard is www.Drudgereport.com which also has a ton of links. Then Firefox up at the top under the url has the Latest Headlines button that gives ongoing news. I also check other forums for data. There is Bloomberg, WND, Rense, Netscape.. some other sources I don't remember off the top of my head. And your right, there is a clamp down on real news and it is getting harder to discover it. That's another reason we need each other as being scattered across the globe we can also share what we see what is going on locally. I also like ScienceDaily and I belong to a research group that send out scientific data. There is also IRIS and various government weather links as well. Right now we are seeing the magnetic pole shift is moving 45 miles a year (meaning we are in the middle of a magnetic pole shift) so I get current news also from Coast to Coast and www.iceagenow.com and earthchangesmedia.com

What we need to do is list them all in one spot so we can just link over and check them out. I'll check with Merc and see what we can do.

Thanks for the additional input Carol.

Yes, it would be prudent to have a special place for news related sites to be referenced, very good idea cheers
