News Burst 24 September 2024 – Get The News!
The World Economic Forum (WEF) has called on government’s worldwide to begin imprisoning social media owners who allow ‘non-mainstream’ content on their platforms. Klaus Schwab’s right-hand man Yuval Noah Harari says people like Elon Musk must be held liable for so-called ‘misinformation’ on X. Rairfoundation.com reports: Harari’s argument challenges the longstanding defense used by social media companies: freedom of speech. “They always try to protect themselves by appealing to freedom of speech… the companies need to take responsibility for their algorithm,” Harari declared. He insists that platforms must be held accountable not just for user-generated content but for the ways their algorithms amplify or suppress specific messages. Harari’s stance is clear: “If the algorithm is writing it, then you’re definitely liable for what your algorithm is writing.” This brings into focus the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) in moderating online content. In an interview with Fareed Zakaria on CNN, Yuval Noah Harari dismissed the millions of people opposing the WEF’s techno-communist agenda on social media, claiming they are nothing more than bots.

    > [Farce In The USA] During his visit to the USA, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy received the Golden Plate Award of the American Academy of Achievement for his contribution to the development of humanity. Zelensky emphasized the importance of victory in the fight against Russian aggression, defending freedom, and upholding Ukraine’s independence. The award, given for ingenuity realized in conditions of freedom over the last 60 years, highlights the significance of ideals and values in global competitions. The Ukrainian leader stressed that dictators like Putin will never receive such an award due to their crimes and violations of human rights. Zelensky’s address on receiving the award underscored the need for all to strive for excellence and freedom, condemning actions that bring suffering and destruction.

    > Former President Trump’s would-be assassin Ryan Wesley Routh wrote a chilling letter admitting he failed in trying to take the life of the former president, and offering a reward for anyone who can finish the job. The note was addressed to the “World” and reads: “This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you. I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job,” according to court papers. Routh dropped off a box at a person’s home that included the letter, the court documents state.

    > British people were coerced by the government and mainstream media to stand in front of their houses and clap for the National Health Service to thank them for their hard work during the Covid pandemic. According to hospital whistleblowers, sadistic nurses — working anonymously without name tags in hospitals during the pandemic — euthanized millions of patients without the consent of their families. What’s more alarming is that these mercenary “nurses” have now disappeared without a trace, escaping any form of accountability. Big Pharma and the elite think they carried out the perfect crime during the pandemic. But we’ve got news for them. The case is not cold, and we are not going to stop until the truth is exposed and justice is served. British journalist Jacqui Devoy explains how the medical dictatorship got away with euthanizing Covid-19 and other patients during the pandemic. It’s time for Nuremberg 2.0.

    > French President Emmanuel Macron has called for a new international order in the wake of the ongoing war in Ukraine. He says that he wants to reform of the current “unjust” world order so that humans can coexist more peacefully. He outlined his vision on Sunday while speaking at the International “Meeting for Peace” organized by the Catholic Sant’Egidio community in Paris. “We must be imaginative enough to think about the peace of tomorrow, a peace in Europe in a new form” the French leader said, adding that the “new reality” requires the construction of a new international order. If the European continent is to become more stable, everyone should acknowledge that it is “neither quite the EU, nor resolutely NATO,” he stated. “We will have to think of a new form of organization for Europe and rethink our relationship with Russia” after the Ukraine conflict is over, the president added. Macron has sent mixed messages regarding the hostilities between Russia and Ukraine as the conflict evolved over the years. In 2022, he drew criticism from fellow Western officials for urging them not to “humiliate” Russia. In early 2024, he said the West should not rule out the deployment of NATO troops on Ukrainian soil – a proposal that multiple other national leaders have rejected. The speech comes as Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky is set to meet US President Joe Biden to present his so-called ‘victory plan’ – a purported roadmap to pressuring Russia into conceding defeat. He wants permission to conduct long-range strikes deep inside Russia with Western weapons as part of the plan.

    > After announcing a new phase to the war, Israel unleashed hell on South Lebanon hitting them with a giant mystery bomb, one of the largest they’ve ever used. Israeli jets have been pounding Hezbollah positions through much of Saturday. ZeroHedge reports: Al Jazeera correspondents have confirmed that “Israel’s military launched 400 attacks on Lebanon on Saturday and Hezbollah fired rockets at the Ramat David base near the city of Haifa, in their largest exchange of fire since the war on Gaza began.” The widely circulating footage shows a large flash and skyscraper-size fireball, resulting in some viewers speculating it was likely a heavy bunker-buster bomb, or possibly even a tactical nuke of some sort. Whatever it was, there’s never been anything like it used on Lebanon (that we know about).

    > Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has blamed the United States for an upsurge in violence between cartel factions in the state of Sinaloa, which has left at least 30 people dead. The uptick in violence followed the capture on July 25 of Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada, 76, in El Paso, Texas. Zambada has since claimed that he was ambushed and taken to the United States by Joaquín Guzmán López, one of the sons of former Sinaloa cartel leader Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, who is serving a life sentence in a U.S. prison. The two factions at war are the MZ/MF, which is loyal to El Mayo, and the El Chapitos, aligned with Guzmán López and El Chapo’s other sons. During a press briefing on Sept. 19, López Obrador—who is often referred to by his initials AMLO—described the operation to capture El Mayo as “totally illegal.” He said of the U.S. government, “If we are now facing instability and clashes in Sinaloa, it is because they made that decision.” ~ Chris Summers – The Epoch Times

    > The success of companies like SpaceX has shown the power of competition and innovation in dramatically reducing launch costs. According to NASA, the average cost to launch a payload to low Earth orbit on the Space Shuttle was about $54,500 per kilogram. In contrast, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket has brought that cost down to approximately $2,720 per kilogram – a reduction of 95%. This cost reduction has opened up new possibilities for scientific missions, satellite deployment, and even space tourism. The benefits of private sector involvement extend beyond just launch costs. The development of reusable rockets, pioneered by SpaceX and now being pursued by other companies, promises to further slash costs and increase launch frequency. In 2022 alone, there were 61 successful orbital launches by SpaceX, 12 times the amount launched by all of Europe combined. These launches enable faster iteration and testing of new technologies, accelerating the pace of space innovation. The economic potential of a commercial space sector is significant. According to a report by Morgan Stanley, the global space industry could generate revenue of $1.1 trillion in 2040, up from $350 billion in 2020. This growth will create high-paying jobs, drive technological innovation, and potentially open up entirely new industries such as space manufacturing and resource extraction.

    > Astronomers have cataloged a stunning treasure trove of over 500 of the universe’s most powerful explosions. These so-called gamma-ray bursts, or GRBs, are so energetic that if just one of them were to occur within 1,000 light-years of Earth, it could destroy our atmosphere with catastrophic results for life on our planet. Fortunately, however, the closest GRB in this new clutch of 535 observations is 77 million light-years away from Earth. The new catalog was created by a global army of 50 astronomers led by Maria Giovanna Dainotti of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan using data from 455 telescopes across the Earth. In terms of importance, the catalog could rival the Messier catalog of 110 deep sky objects created by French astronomer Charles Messier 250 years ago — a catalog still used by astronomers of all skill levels today.

    > In the 2016 movie Passengers, the crew of a spacecraft bound for a distant planet had access to a scanning chamber known as Autodoc that could instantly diagnose their medical problems and even predict the time of their death. The Neko Body Scan Like Autodoc, it promises to conduct a comprehensive examination of health – inside and out – within minutes. Neko is the brainchild of the Spotify co-founder Daniel Ek, who hopes to achieve the same for health that he did for music. Costing £299, a Neko scan incorporates high-resolution 2D and 3D photography, thermal imaging, then detailed cardiovascular measurements to map how the heart is pumping and blood is moving through the arteries, veins and capillaries.

    > When we look out into the universe with our unaided eyes, we are really only seeing a small chunk of what’s actually there. That’s because there are parts of the electromagnetic spectrum that our visual faculties are not sensitive to. Radiation is being emitted by all manner of cosmic phenomena across this spectrum, yet we’re only able to physically see wavelengths within the visible light range without the help of external tools — but luckily, astronomers have access to telescopes that allow them to observe the universe across this continuum. The South African MeerKAT radio telescope is one such observatory, allowing astronomers to probe the radio band emissions of stars, blackholes and galaxies in the surrounding universe. Recently, an international team of astronomers from the MeerKAT Absorption Line Survey (MALS) used a vast catalog of radio sources captured by the MeerCAT radio telescope to make a measurement of a phenomenon called the “cosmic radio dipole.”

    > The population of one-horned Asian rhinos has surged from 1,500 to over 4,000 in four decades thanks to conservation and anti-poaching efforts, according to new govt data released on World Rhino Day. T2 Kaziranga National Park in Assam now shelters 80% of the world’s one-horned rhinos, with rhino numbers in general plummeting from 500,000 in the early 1900s to just 28,000 today.
