I breast fed my son and when this was no longer possible I began to feed him with home made Barley water.
I used to cook organic barley for a long time until completely mushy.
I would then filter this liquid through a thin cloth.
The milk I got out of this is what he drank.
He loved it, grew healthy , never was ill.
