    curious about the worms.

    I hardly ever seem to pick up a book these days, and there were times in my life when I always carried them. I dusted off a kindle I picked up a few years back. I quite like them, as far as electronic devices go, as they dont damage my eyes, unlike the computer.

    I rediscovered the Dune books by Frank Herbert, I read them maybe 30 years ago and I see they are attempting another movie (which will be hollywood bad) (shame they didnt let Jodorowsky finish his version, or better still, give it to Terry Gilliam with a huge budget...).. or not.. I couldnt remember the books so well, so I had a quick re-read of Dune, and the big worms! (they were not annelids, but they were modelled on polychaete worms)..

    what I had forgotten was the complete lack of technology in the books.

    Been there too on a few of my own threads.
    Quite annoying specially when you try to put some serious work into them.
