    Scientific study shows meditators collapsing quantum systems at a distance

    While spiritualists and scientists alike have been researching the links associated with our consciousness and the world around us, one study appears to have found one major association. Furthermore, they believe that we can use our minds through meditation to alter the physical world around us

    Experts fully understand the health benefits regarding meditational practice, but what if meditation opened the doors to something far greater than relaxation and low-blood pressure? What if instead, meditating allowed us to tap into a different dimension of our physical reality? Well, according to one experiment, it does.

    In the double-slit experiment, research participants were told to place their attention towards an optical beam located in the double-slit machinery. Once their attention was completely focused, they were instructed to ‘influence the beam,’ and then told to relax.

    And what they discovered was extraordinary.

    According to the results, the participants told to use their focus to influence the beam had much more success than those that didn’t.

    “Observation not only disturbs what has to be measured, they produce it. We compel the electron to assume a definite position. We ourselves produce the results of the measurement.”

    And while one scientific study would be enough, a second study was carried out by a Zen Buddhist Temple. In that study, meditators and non-meditators were studied. They found that those who meditated had ‘superior performance’ in contrast to those that didn’t. “The study found that factors associated with consciousness significantly correlated in predicted ways with perturbations in the double-slit interference pattern.”

    So, while there were plenty of reasons to meditate before, science has unearthed yet another wonderful benefit of its practice. Not only can it revitalize us, mind, body, and spirit, it can also give us enough focus to carry out any task. While we can’t promise that you will be able to influence the electronics in your house by meditating, you will without a doubt increase your quality of life.
