You need 4-5 hours of sunlight a day and can use reflected light.. can grow on the south side of a tiny house. If you include a paper template with the hole location in each corner, one could just put the template against the wall and drill all 4 holes before doing anything else, which would make installation a lot easier. Use drip irrigation system with a timer on it. Need good BFA certified organic potting mix with balance PH and nutrients. Special ingredients will be added to the top of the potting mix is compost made at home or worm castings from a worm farm because it's full of life and bacteria - if it has worms in it even better. Sprinkle into organic potting mix gives good growth. Next comes the plants, the only limit is how much sun and the size of the plant. Herbs, leafy greens (lettuce, spinach, parsley, basil..) plants that like the most moisture at bottom - For example strawberries on bottom like lots of water - put 5 plants there, lettuce/spinach 2nd level basil, parsley 3rd level and tomatoes with basil on the top (5th level_ where there is less water, beet root in middle above lettuce with lobelia on 3rd row up, coriander will go next to parsley on 4th row, spinach next to lettuce on 2nd level. All pre-potted ready to plant. - Next step is mulch on the top (chopped lucern) cover the surface of a couple of centimeters of mulch that keeps the moisture in, worms alive and breaks down to feed the plants. Keep a little space around the stem of each plant. Check drip water irrigation system. Can also adjust the drippers.. also give a good spray once everything is planted. Vertical garden give food in about 4 weeks.
