I was trained as a Bio-energy therapist and there is a technique which can be very effective.
I will try to describe how to,

Stand to the left side of the person with migrane, they should be sitting on a kitchen type chair.
Place the thumb of your right hand at the back of their ear--(you need to find a very slight depression in the skullabout level with the ear lobe.)
So with the tumb gently in position, place the fingers of that hand athe back of the neck.
Put your other hand on top of the skalp so the finger tips are about level with the thumb of the right hand, slightly forward of that ear. Imagine enegy travling through the skull from the right hand to the left.
If you have a natural ability you will be aware of the movment of energy.
A few minutes wll probably be enough---5 at most--- then stand on the other side ofthe person and now put the left thumb behnd the ear and the right hand opposite.

That allways worked when I did it no matter how severe the attack was but then I had learned using Chi Gong exercises to feel and move energy. Most times the "cure" was permanent but needed about three seperate sessions.
