"If I wanted America to fail" Empty "If I wanted America to fail"

Post  Carol Wed Apr 25, 2012 12:41 pm

If I wanted America to fail, I'd use "Change" as a campaign slogan, but condemn any "radical" who offers real change. I'd convince the public that the two parties are a true dichotomy and that supporting one of those parties has any fundamental value. I'd start undeclared and therefore unconstitutional wars and label any opposing viewpoint as "Un-American." I'd use the Federal Reserve to print money when I need it. If I wanted America to fail, I'd convince everyone that hope is "unelectable."

" the Obama administration within its first term has saddled Americans with 5 trillion of debt. How will we pay that back? If we wanted to pay it at a rate of $1 per second, we would be finished with it right now . . . if we had started that payment schedule at 2800 BC! Boggles the mind as to how much debt our children and their grandchildren are responsible for. And with Obama, there is no end of spending in sight."

"If I wanted to America to fail, I would demonize prosperity itself, so they will not miss what they will never have."
"This video is *excellent* and SPOT ON. Our current administration seems hell-bent on bringing our once-great Republic to its collective knees.
Personally, I am "as mad at hell and I am not going to take it anymore."
We have driven a stake through the heart of America, and She is very near death.
Our last hope is to send Obama and his ilk on their way - ASAP."

Another way to kill US farmers: Seize their bank accounts on phony charges
    http://foodfreedomgroup.com/2012/04/23/obama-seizes-farmers-money/

    [snip]
Monsanto’s Food and Drug Administration can’t close down small dairies and private food clubs fast enough, bursting on the scene with guns drawn as if the criminalized right to contract for natural foods we’ve consumed for millennia deserves SWAT attention.

Now, Obama has the Dept. of Justice going after small farmers under the post-911 “Bank Secrecy Act” which makes it a crime to deposit less than $10,000 when you earned more than that.

“The level we deposited was what it was and it was about the same every week,” Randy Sowers told Frederick News. The Sowers own and run South Mountain Creamery in Middletown, Maryland.

Admittedly, when the Sowers earned over $10,000 in February, and learned they’d have to fill out paperwork at the bank for such large deposits, they simply rolled the deposits over to keep them below the none-of-your-Xxxxxxxx-business amount, rather than waste time on bureaucratic red tape aimed at flagging terrorism or other illegal activities.

“Structuring,” explains Overlawyered.com, “is the federal criminal offense of splitting up bank deposits so as to keep them under a threshold such as $10,000 above which banks have to report transactions to the government.”

While being questioned, the Sowers were finally presented with a seizure order and advised that the feds had already emptied their bank account of $70,000. The Dept. of Justice has since sued to keep $63,000 of the Sowers’ money, though they committed no crime other than maintaining their privacy.

Without funds, they will be unable to make purchases for the spring planting.

    MORE INVASION BY THE GOVERNMENT

Rural kids, parents angry about Labor Dept. rule banning farm chores.
The Department of Labor is poised to put the finishing touches on a rule that would apply child-labor laws to children working on family farms, prohibiting them from performing a list of jobs on their own families’ land. Under the rules, children under 18 could no longer work “in the storing, marketing and transporting of farm product raw materials.” The new regulations, first proposed August 31 by Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, would also revoke the government’s approval of safety training and certification taught by independent groups like 4-H and FFA, replacing them instead with a 90-hour federal government training course. The Environmental Protection Agency reports that the average age of the American farmer is now over 50. “Losing that work-ethic — it’s so hard to pick this up later in life,” Clark said. “There’s other ways to learn how to farm, but it’s so hard. You can learn so much more working on the farm when you’re 12, 13, 14 years old.”
