    Moving Mountains

Why are humans who believe they are able to disperse a cloud by concentration able to do so?
Is it the power of belief alone, or is there another factor?

Why do scientists say that they always change the outcome of experiments just by the observer performing the simple act of observing? Such scientists have neither belief nor disbelief but are unbiased observers.

How can a group of individuals all meditating and focusing on peace and tranquility have an effect where crime drops in the surrounding area?

Why was Dr. Emoto able to prove in his laboratory that water crystals can be changed into crystalline patterns of perfect geometry and symmetry just by the human mind having a thought of harmony versus disharmony?

Is this the secret behind the Church’s Holy Water?

Why have scientists discovered that water has memory cells which remember and if surrounded by kind thoughts become pure and refreshed?

The answer to all these questions is that consciousness is shared by every living thing, no matter how simple or complex. It all possesses some level of consciousness. Matter is just a more dense form of consciousness.

The reason human mind is able to disperse a cloud because both it and that which is intending to affect are both comprised of the identical thing. Just as the observer in the laboratory has an affect upon the experiment so does the human mind.

God had nothing else to use and so It used It’s own conscious energy so that all things visible are formed from that consciousness.

    Science Chimes In

The following information, is a provable fact by science today. Most of this information is transcribed from the video, The Holographic Universe.

“Man is conditioned right from the beginning of his life that the world he lives in has an absolutely material reality. So he grows up under the effect of this condition and builds his entire life on this viewpoint. The findings of modern science, however, has revealed a completely different and significant reality that what is presumed.

All the information that we have about the external world is conveyed to us by our external senses. The world we know of, consists of what our eyes see, our ears hear, what our tongue taste, our noses smell and our hands feel. Man is dependant only upon those five senses since birth. That is why he only knows the external world the way it is presented by these five senses. Yet scientific research carried out on our senses has revealed very different facts about what we call our external world. These facts have brought to light a very important secret about matter that makes up the external world. Contemporary thinker, Frederick Bester explains the point that science has reached on this subject. Statements of some scientists posing that man is an image and everything experienced is temporary and deceptive and this universe is a shadow seems to be proven by science in our day. In order to better grasp this secret behind matter, let us be reminded about our information about our sense of sight which provides us with the most extensive information about our external world.

The act of seeing is realized progressively. At the instance of seeing, light clusters called photons travel from the object to the eye and pass through the eye lens where they are refracted and focus on the retina at the back of the eye. Here, rays are turned into electrical signals and then transmitted by neurons to the center of vision at the back of the brain. The act of seeing actually takes place in the center in the brain. All the images we view in our lives and all the events we experience, are actually experienced in this tiny and dark place. The landscape you see on the horizon actually fits into this place of a few cubic centimeters. Now, let us reconsider this information more carefully. When we say, we see, we actually see the effect the rays reaching our eyes form in our brain by being converted into electrical signals. When we say, we see, we actually observe the electrical signals in our brain.

By the way, there is another point that has to be kept in mind. The brain is sealed to light and it’s interior is absolutely sealed and dark, therefore it is never possible for the brain to come in contact with light itself. We can explain this interesting situation with an example. Let us suppose that in front of us is a burning candle and we view it’s light. During this period, when we view the candle’s light, the inside of our skull and our brain is in absolute darkness. The light of the candle never illuminates our brain and our center of vision, however, we watch a bright and colorful world inside our dark brain.

The same situation applies to all our other senses. Sound, touch, smell, and feel are all perceived in our brain as electrical signals. Therefore our brains, throughout our lives, do not confront the original of the matter existing outside of us but rather an electrical copy of it formed inside our brain. It is at this point, that we are mislead by assuming that these copies are instances of real matter outside of us.

These physical facts make us come to an indisputable conclusion. Everything we see, touch and perceive as matter, the world and the universe is only electrical signals in our brain. For instance, we see a bird in the external world. In reality, this bird is not in the external world, but in our brain. The light particles reflecting from the bird reach our eye, and there they are converted to electrical signals. These electrical signals are transmitted by neurons to the center of vision in the brain. The bird we see are in fact the electric signals in our brain. If the sight nerves traveling to the brain were disconnected, the image of the bird would suddenly disappear. In the same matter, the bird’s sounds we hear is also in our brain. If the nerves traveling to the brain were disconnected there would be no sound left. Put simply, the bird, the shape of which we see and the sound is makes, is nothing but the brain’s interpretation of electrical signals.

Another point to be considered here is the sense of distance. For example the distance between you and this screen is nothing but a feeling of space formed in your brain. Also, objects that seem to be very distant in one person’s views are actually images clustered in one spot in the brain. For instance, someone who watches the stars in the sky assumes they are millions of light years away from him, and yet they are right inside of himself in the center of vision in his brain.

When you are in a room you assume you assume yourself to be within the room. On the contrary the room is inside of you. You’re seeing you body makes you think that you are inside of it, however, you must remember that your body is an image formed inside your brain. So far, we have been speaking of an external world and a world of perceptions formed in our brain, the latter of which is what we see, however, since we can never actually reach the external world, how can be sure that such a world really exists? Definitely we cannot. The only reality we cope with is the world of perceptions within our minds.

To imagine matter to have an existence outside the mind is indeed a deception. The perceptions we observe may well be coming from an artificial source. It is possible to see this in the mind’s eye by an example. First, let us suppose we could take our brain out of our body and keep it alive in a glass jar. Let us put a computer in which all kinds of information can be recorded. Finally, let us transmit the electrical signals of all the data related to a setting such an image, sound and smell to this computer. Let us connect this computer to the sensory centers of our brain with electrodes and send the pre recorded data to our brain. As our brain receives these signals, it will see and live the setting correlated with these. From this computer, we can send to our brain also signals pertaining to our own image, for instance, we can send to our brain the electrical correlates of such senses as sight, hearing and touch that we perceive as we sit at a desk. In that state, our brain would think itself as a businessman sitting in his office. These stimulations would keep coming from the computer. We would never realize that we only consist of a brain. It is indeed very easy for us to be deceived into believing perceptions without any material correlates to be real. This is exactly what happens in our dreams.

For you, reality is all that can touched with the hand and seen with the eye. In your dreams you can also touch with your hand or see with your eye but in reality, you have neither hand or eye, nor is there anything that can be touched or seen. Taking what you perceive in your dream to be material realities, you are simply deceived. For example, a person deeply asleep in his bed, may see himself in an entirely different world in his dream. He may dream he is a pilot and command a giant airplane, and even spend a great effort to command the plane. In fact, this person has not even taken one step away from his bed. In his dreams he may visit different settings and visit friends, have a chat with them and drink and eat with them. It is only when a person awakes from his dream that he realizes that all were only perceptions. If we are able to live easily in an unreal world during our dreams, the same can equally be true for the world we live in. When we wake up from a dream, there is no logical reason for not thinking that we have not entered a longer dream that we call real life. The reason we consider our dream to be fancy and the world as real, is nothing but a product of our habit and prejudices. This suggests that we may well be awoken from our life on earth which we think we are living right now, just as we are awoken from a dream.

After all these physical facts arises the question of primary importance. If all physical events that we know, are intrinsically perceptions, what about our brain? Since our brain is matter just like our arms and legs or any other object, it too must be a perception, just like any other object. An example will illuminate the subject further. Let us think that we extend the nerves reaching our brain and put it outside our head where we can see it with our eyes. In this case, we would be able to see our brain and touch it with our fingers. This way, we can understand that our brain is also nothing but a perception, formed by the senses of vision and touch.

Then, what is the will that sees, hears and perceives all other senses if it is not the brain. Who is it that sees, hears, touches and perceives the taste and smell? Who is this being, who this being that thinks, reasons, has feelings and most importantly says, I am me?
One of the important thinkers of our age, Carl Creeper also poses the same question. Since the Greeks, philosophers have been thinking about the ghost in the machine. The small man within the small man, etc. Where is I; the person who uses the brain? As St. Francis of Assisi said, what we search for is the one who sees. In fact, this metaphysical being that uses the brain, who feels and sees, is the soul. What we call the material world is the aggregate of perceptions viewed and felt by this soul. Just like the bodies we possess and the material world we see in our dreams have no physical reality, the universe we occupy and the bodies we possess, now also have no physical reality.

    The Soul As The Observer

The real absolute being is the soul. Matter consists merely of perceptions viewed by the soul. Yes, even if we start with the presupposition that matter is real, the laws of physics, chemistry and biology all lead us to the fact that matter consists of an illusion and to the inevitable actuality of a metaphysical matter. This is the secret beyond matter. This fact is so definite that it alarms some material scientists who think matter to be the absolute being. Science writer, Lincoln Barnett says in his book, The Universe and Einstein, along with philosophers reduction of all objective reality to a shadow world of perceptions, scientists have become aware of the alarming limitations of man’s senses.

All these facts bring us face to face with a very significant question.
If the thing we acknowledge as the material world is merely comprised of perceptions given to our soul, then what is the source of these perceptions?

DNA functions in a way the correlates with a holographic projection and functions as a bio-computer. This DNA wave bio-computer reads and writes genetic code and forms holographic pre-images of bio-structures. Humans are far more electrical than they are chemical. (the second link at the bottom leads to an article about the discoveries concerning self programming of DNA).

Humans like to think of space as empty and matter as solid, but in fact there is nothing to matter whatsoever, it’s completely unsubstantial. Take a look at an atom. We think of it as kind of a hard ball, then we say, oh well, not really, it’s this very tiny point of really dense matter right at the center, surrounded by a kind of fluffy probability cloud of electrons popping in and out of existence. Then it turns out, that is not even right. Then that is not even right. Even the nucleus, which we think of as so dense, pops in and out of existence, just as readily as electrons do. The most solid thing you can say about all of this insubstantial matter is that it is more like a thought; it’s like a concentrated byte of information.

Our bodies look solid but they are not. Under a microscope, you will see a mass of energy vibrating. Because our bodies are a hologram the secret technology of matter transfer works by breaking down the molecular structure and reassembling back at any given place.

Are there fields of awareness in the fabric of space itself? Is there a consciousness beyond the physical? Is this the secret to enlightenment and can scientists verify that the field of awareness actually exists and pre-existed the Big Bang?

The human aura is our very own glowing living energy field that extends beyond our physical boundaries. While invisible to most humans, it is a light extension of our soul. Our bio-photons transmit our consciousness and information just like voices and TV pictures are transmitted on radio and microwaves. The information in our aura can actually be captured and stored in a computer. Now we can actually measure the amplitude, balance and integration of radiant energy radiating from all seven human energy centers.

All things are wave forms. Everything in our world is a wave form. Dimensional levels are nothing more than different lengths of the wave forms. If you were to change the wave length of your consciousness and in so doing change all your body patterns different than this universe, you would change the image you perceive. Every object in this universe makes a unique sound according to it’s construction. If you average all the sounds in this 3rd dimension, you would get a 7.23 centimeter wave length. It was Bell laboratories who discovered this wave length. As you go up in dimensional levels the wave length gets shorter and shorter with higher and higher energy. As you go down in dimensional levels the wave length gets longer and longer with lower and lower energy, the more densely. Just as with a piano there is a space between the notes, so that when you hit one note, there is a very definite place where the next note is. In this wave form universe we exist in, there is a very definite place where the next dimensional level exists. It is a specific wave length relative to this one. Most cultures in the cosmos have this basic understanding of the cosmos and they know how to move between dimensions.

If we show each note in the chromatic scale as a circle, we have 13 circles. Each circle represents a white or black key and the circle on the end would be the 13th note which begins the next octave. The 12 major overtones between any two notes or dimensions are a replica of the overall pattern. It is holographic. If you carry it further, between each overtone, you will find another 12 overtones that replicate the whole pattern. It goes down and up, literally forever. This is called a geometric progression only in harmonics. If you continue to study it, you will find that each of the unique musical scales that have been discovered produces a different octave of experience. If you continue to study it, you will find that each of the unique musical scales that have been discovered, produces a different octave of experience, more universes to explore. There are 12 major dimensions and 132 minor dimensions within each octave. As big as an infinite as this universe seems, which is just an illusion anyway, there are still an infinite number of other ways to express the one reality and each dimension is experimentally completely different from any other. Between whole note universe and between each sub space or overtone universe there is nothing, absolutely zip.

Each of these spaces is called a void. Each time you pass from one dimension or overtone into the next you pass through a void or blackness in between. This void is like a wall you have to pass through to get to a higher octave. All these dimensions are superimposed over each other and every point in space time contains them all. The doorway to any of them is anywhere.

Quantum mechanics is a set of principles describing matter at the atomic level of matter and the sub atomic level. It was not a discovery of only one scientist. Quantum physics shows us that consciousness can change the outcome depending on it’s belief patterns. Our own DNA is where the program originates. Your DNA can be changed or overwritten and as that happens what you see, hear, smell, taste and touch shifts also. What version of reality and how much of it you see, depends upon how many strands of DNA are available to you. As your awareness increases, your light increases, as light carries information. A person with a greater ability to collect light will see avenues others don’t see, he or she will have more options available. You will perceive fear as unproductive and choose to overwrite it. Your vista will expand and with each new shift to a new version of the program, the old patterns and old problems disappear because you find solutions which you never saw before.

Each level of the program has people and events that fit into that particular program and so it all is projected from you and through you. Only you can change it. Other people are having their own programs and by mutual agreement you and they decide to be part of each others experience, which is never without some teaching or learning aspect.

We are all projecting our own version of the world, some of which have only slight differences and others vastly different. By having the control there is no one else to blame if we don’t care for our world but we all have the power to change it, not because we seek to change others, but by changing ourselves for the better, it automatically shifts to another version.

We are used to hearing the term our world, your world, his world, but always assuming reality is out there, but if there is really nothing out there, then it’s coming from the trillions of cells of DNA within you. You are not placed in the world as it appears but the world is placed within you.

    The Holographic Computer Within You

Linguists focused upon the 90% of DNA for which science has previously called ‘junk’ only because they could not find it’s purpose, and compared the syntax of human language only to discover that DNA follows the same basic rules of grammar.

Living chromosomes they described as holographic computers using DNA laser radiation. Absolutely no decoding has to be done and it was proven that DNA responds to spoken words.

Using the right frequencies, one can communicate with one’s own DNA and the higher a person’s consciousness is, the better they become.

It is very interesting the next two quotes should be from two different channeled sources giving answers to questions concerning what is called reality on earth.

‘You are the rotating stars. You are the essence of the spiral of the galaxy in which you inhabit, of all creation that you are, that extends from you, that issues forth from you, that is projected from you, within yourself. For you are everywhere and there is no where else to be but where you are now. Everything is within you. There is no outside as you have been reminded time and again. Now all time collapses into one. Now all space collapses into one.”
    -Bashar-

The Ra Group statement from the famous Ra Material:

“You are everything, every being, every emotion, every event, every situation. You are unity. You are infinity. You are Love/light and light/love. You are. This is the Law of One.”

There are versions of reality where all of world is steeped in fear and warfare and there are other versions where war has been declared barbaric and relegated to the past. There are also versions to cover the spectrum between these two. All such versions are like programs running which do not have to be created. It is more a case of you joining a program which is already in progress. Moving your thoughts, your beliefs and your attitudes will change your channel.

In other news, we each really are creating our own reality... so make the most of it today, move a mountain!

    Today's discoveries are confirming these 'esoteric' thoughts;

Quantum magic trick shows reality is what you make it

    * 18:00 22 June 2011 by Anil Ananthaswamy
    * For similar stories, visit the Quantum World Topic Guide

Conjurers frequently appear to make balls jump between upturned cups. In quantum systems, where the properties of an object, including its location, can vary depending on how you observe them, such feats should be possible without sleight of hand. Now this startling characteristic has been demonstrated experimentally, using a single photon that exists in three locations at once.

Despite quantum theory's knack for explaining experimental results, some physicists have found its weirdness too much to swallow. Albert Einstein mocked entanglement, a notion at the heart of quantum theory in which the properties of one particle can immediately affect those of another regardless of the distance between them. He argued that some invisible classical physics, known as "hidden-variable theories", must be creating the illusion of what he called "spooky action at a distance".

A series of painstakingly designed experiments has since shown that Einstein was wrong: entanglement is real and no hidden-variable theories can explain its weird effects.

But entanglement is not the only phenomenon separating the quantum from the classical. "There is another shocking fact about quantum reality which is often overlooked," says Aephraim Steinberg of the University of Toronto in Canada.
    No absolute reality

In 1967, Simon Kochen and Ernst Specker proved mathematically that even for a single quantum object, where entanglement is not possible, the values that you obtain when you measure its properties depend on the context. So the value of property A, say, depends on whether you chose to measure it with property B, or with property C. In other words, there is no reality independent of the choice of measurement.

It wasn't until 2008, however, that Alexander Klyachko of Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey, and colleagues devised a feasible test for this prediction. They calculated that if you repeatedly measured five different pairs of properties of a quantum particle that was in a superposition of three states, the results would differ for the quantum system compared with a classical system with hidden variables.

That's because quantum properties are not fixed, but vary depending on the choice of measurements, which skews the statistics. "This was a very clever idea," says Anton Zeilinger of the Institute for Quantum Optics, Quantum Nanophysics and Quantum Information in Vienna, Austria. "The question was how to realise this in an experiment."

Now he, Radek Lapkiewicz and colleagues have realised the idea experimentally. They used photons, each in a superposition in which they simultaneously took three paths. Then they repeated a sequence of five pairs of measurements on various properties of the photons, such as their polarisations, tens of thousands of times.
    A beautiful experiment

They found that the resulting statistics could only be explained if the combination of properties that was tested was affecting the value of the property being measured. "There is no sense in assuming that what we do not measure about a system has [an independent] reality," Zeilinger concludes.

Steinberg is impressed: "This is a beautiful experiment." If previous experiments testing entanglement shut the door on hidden variables theories, the latest work seals it tight. "It appears that you can't even conceive of a theory where specific observables would have definite values that are independent of the other things you measure," adds Steinberg.

Kochen, now at Princeton University in New Jersey, is also happy. "Almost a half century after Specker and I proved our theorem, which was based on a [thought] experiment, real experiments now confirm our result," he says.

Niels Bohr, a giant of quantum physics, was a great proponent of the idea that the nature of quantum reality depends on what we choose to measure, a notion that came to be called the Copenhagen interpretation. "This experiment lends more support to the Copenhagen interpretation," says Zeilinger.

    The Time Wave

According to the Time Wave Theory by the late Terrence McKenna, on December 21, 2012 we will be in the unique position in time where we will experience maximum novelty.

What is novelty? The unpredictable. Novelty is characterized by increasing activity and options. For humans, this usually follows some great discovery or event which changes our behavior. This date gives the maximum potential for change. Not since the birth of our universe has this happened.

Terrence McKenna asks us to see the time wave pattern moving through time. What took eons of time to complete shrinks to thousands of years, next it shrinks to hundreds of years, finally to days, then minutes and seconds. Now, as we approach the zero point of the Great Time Wave, waves of the unexpected and unpredictable also compress. Novelty and normality display themselves in the hills and valleys of the Time Wave.
Because this is a fractal pattern expect it to repeat on every level, in smaller and smaller patterns.
This appears chaotic to our sense of time but this is because the very pattern of time is speeding up.

There is a specific and orderly pattern behind this chaos. Because this pattern is fractal, the ups and downs of the Time Wave apply equally to a long epoch, like the emergence of life on our planet, and the short epoch, like the life time of an individual.

Time is compressing or being squeezed into smaller and smaller increments of time so the novelties which used to take decades to manifest seem to pile together like a LA traffic jam.

Too fantastic to be considered? Perhaps. But then so is the news story about scientists tinkering with the electrical grid system because clocks are jumping ahead.

    Tree Hugger

Let's look at the Time Waves for the "standard model" proposed by McKenna for the dates March 31, 2010 through the "end of time" on 12/21/2012 and compare them to the Watkins model for the same period:
    The Heart's Code - Page 2 Timewave.standard

    The Heart's Code - Page 2 Timewave.watkins
Above: The Watkins model showing adjusted calculations.

In the standard model we see that there is an event which will happen around May 9th which will begin a period of habitual behavior that culminates on July 8th. From July 9th onward we are in a steep plunge of novelty which placed everyone in a state of confusion as they adjust to some new situation that has been thrust upon humanity. Around January 16th of 2011 we get a small reprieve and begin to cope with the new situation but in March 22 of 2011 something again happens that causes unrest and novelty. There are a few attempts to adjust to normalcy after this date, but eventually the situation becomes too much and absolute novelty overcomes habit on 12/21/2012.

In the revised Watkins model we see that May 9th is also a significant day, marking our climb to habitual life that, like the McKenna model, changes on July 8th. But instead of a sharp decline into novelty, the Watkins model has a sawtooth pattern of adjustment with increasing habitual behavior, suggesting that humanity is coping well with some change. This happens until November 14th, at which time a free fall into novelty happens which is even greater than the one predicted by McKenna. It goes straight down until January 16, 2011. After January 16th there is a brief period of recovery and habitual behavior that reaches it peak on March 22, 2011. Then, something happens that takes humanity to maximum novelty on 12,21,2012.

So, while the significant dates remain the same, the pattern of habitual behavior vs. coping with new situations in new ways is slightly different.

One thing that was discovered with the Watkins model is that the Time Wave has absolute novelty both at the beginning and the end of the wave. This suggests that there might be some cyclical nature to the wave, and time itself.

Why does this matter, you may ask, since there are many obvious differences between the two waves -- what is the significance of this difference? For the standard model wave, it has been argued that the zero value at the end of the waveform implies some kind of singularity at the end of the process -- or at the end of time. This revised wave is implying, however, that there may be singularities at both ends of the continuum. This is also an argument for a closed system that may be undergoing some kind of cyclic renewal process -- perhaps each cycle expressing ever higher ordered states of complex form, or Novelty.

There are concepts emerging from the field of quantum cosmology that may describe an analogous cyclic process. This is a theory in which universes are treated like quantum particles that inhabit a larger, or higher dimentional domain called a multiuniverse. Michio Kaku, a theoretical physicist and co-founder of string field theory, has described a process where universes emerge from zero-point, or vacuum field, go through an evolutionary process, then perhaps return to zero-point field at the end of the cycle. This cycle may then repeat itself, possibly with increased complexity and Novelty. So could this be similar to the process that the TimeWave and Novenly Theory attempt to reveal? Perhaps further incestigation into the nature of the TimeWave will shed some light on these questions." --John Sheliak [Delineation, Specification, and Formalization of the TWZ Data Set Generation Process -- Philosophical, Procedural, and Mathematical]

    In Brief

Human intelligence may be close to its evolutionary limit. Various lines of research suggest that most of the tweaks that could make us smarter would hit limits set by the laws of physics.

Brain size, for instance, helps up to a point but carries diminishing returns: brains become energy-hungry and slow. Better “wiring” across the brain also would consume energy and take up a disproportionate amount of space.

Making wires thinner would hit thermodynamic limitations similar to those that affect transistors in computer chips: communication would get noisy.

Humans, however, might still achieve higher intelligence collectively. And technology, from writing to the Internet, enables us to expand our mind outside the confines of our body.

These ideas about space and its relation to sense perception are implicit in the Vedic literature, and they can best be understood by giving some specific examples. The nature of Krishna's absolute position is nicely illustrated by the following story of a visit by Lord Brahma to Krishna in Dvaraka. In the story, Krishna first responds to Brahma's request to see Him by having His secretary ask, "Which Brahma wishes to see Me?" Brahma later begins his conversation with Krishna by asking why Krishna made this inquiry.

"Why did you inquire which Brahma had come see you? What is the purpose of such an inquiry? Is there any other Brahma besides me within this universe?"

Upon hearing this, Sri Krishna smiled and immediately meditated. Unlimited Brahmas arrived instantly.

These Brahmas had different numbers of heads. Some had ten heads, some twenty, some a hundred, some a thousand, some ten thousand, some a hundred thousand, some ten million and others a hundred million. No one can count the number of faces they had.

There also arrived many Lord Sivas with various heads numbering one hundred thousand and ten million. Many Indras also arrived, and they had thousands of eyes all over their bodies.

When the four-headed Brahma of this universe saw all these opulences of Krishna, he became very bewildered and considered himself a rabbit among many elephants.

All the Brahmas who came to see Krishna offered their respects at His lotus feet, and when they did this, their helmets touched His lotus feet.

No one can estimate the inconceivable potencies of Krishna. All the Brahmas who were there were resting in the one body of Krishna.

When all the helmets struck together at Krishna's lotus feet, there was a tumultuous sound. It appeared that the helmets themselves were offering prayers unto Krishna's lotus feet.

With folded hands, all the Brahmas and Sivas began to offer prayers unto Lord Krishna, saying, "O Lord, You have shown me a great favor. I have been able to see your lotus feet."

All of them then said, "It is my great fortune, Lord, that you have called me, thinking of me as your servant. Now let me know what Your order is so that I may carry it on my heads."

Lord Krishna replied, "Since I wanted to see all of you together, I have called all of you here. All of you should be happy.

    The Heart's Code - Page 2 Knught
    The Dismantling of the Armor

The saddest thing in all the world is to see the softness of the gleeful child change as they form an armor plating around themselves.

Everyone is afraid of being hurt or ridiculed. Everyone protects their tender parts at all costs, and so they learn to never expose them to others, even to parents and siblings and friends. The naturally gregarious outgoing loving child becomes bullied and told to hush, denigrated and criticized and life begins to feel like a battle instead of the carefree existence once enjoyed.

The fear of being an outcast, of not fitting in, of not measuring up, of being unloved, shunned, of being ridiculed and belittled and with each new fear the armor becomes thicker and less of the child is seen.

Here and there are those individuals who are without layers of protection, but when those with armor view those without armor, the latter seem most foolhardy and naïve. Become like me, they think, protect yourself and never show your heart. The world will do you in, if you do not become like me!

When that armor gets so heavy, there is always the option of removing it and showing the real person inside. At any time in life that option is always open your true heart to the world. Something wonderful happens as an individual finds the courage to be themselves and stop hiding. Armor plating can provide the illusion of safety from attack but it can also can keep you inside away from potentials for happiness.

If those same individuals could only realize that when one approaches others in a defensive mode, the universe brings to them, by the energy of magnetism, something or someone to defend against. By the same energy of magnetism, Those who live without a fortress around themselves will find they attract others like themselves. In other words, be that thing you want in your life.

You will rise above the level of the animal world, none of which are cognitive enough to understand how to use the energy and laws of the universe. They have no choice as do humans, but in misunderstanding the way the energy works many humans live at the level of the animal, hiding in their dens, or making an appearance of ferocity and invincibility, but it’s all fear in the long run.

The world is not out to get you unless you have those expectations. Bad luck is nothing more than the expectation of bad and getting it. Do not think that when you were told ask and it shall be given to you, that that went only for good things.

    The Law of One

In ancient times the Law of One was well known. Seer Edgar Cayce spoke of the group, the Children of the Law of One in Atlantis. Unlike other laws like the Laws of Hammurabi, the Ten Commandments and the Hebraic Law, the Law of One is not a list of things not to do, as in “thou shalt not steal. The Law of One teaches that all individuals and all that is non human as well is connected and all are part of each other with One Intelligent Force.

The Law of One discloses that all other individuals are connected as the cells of a body are connected, and to steal from or commit any hurtful act against another is more than what has been called sin by humans, it is literally committing that offense against yourself since all consciousness is one.

Offenses against another set up an imbalance which must be addressed for the offender to progress in their evolution. This is not punishment but called by some karma.

Jesus taught the Law of Love, and this is the same thing as The Law of One. It is also called The Golden Rule. The Law of One is not written on paper, but it is carried around in hearts. If one wants good for oneself, then one must realize that one’s neighbor also wants these same things. This view blesses he who gives and he who takes, because love is the great equalizer.

The Law of One also provides a platform for investigating one’s own motives in the treatment of others and this view honors free will of all individuals. The Law of One raises up humanity where it should be and does not use fear or intimidation but only love.

Jesus was attempting to teach the Law of One by word and example and by his statements he made it very clear that the sum of the rabbinical laws and the Ten Commandments would from that time forward, considered nil and void, since he metaphorically took them and nailed them to the stake. Only two things remained valid after that time. Love God and love of neighbor.

However those words did not suit the politician and head of the state, Constantine, who formed a fusion between some of the teachings of Jesus and the Roman belief system calling it Christianity. Through all these centuries since Jesus spoke his words on earth, the Golden Rule which is the Law of One shines through. It cuts through all the layers of distortions and human concepts which have been built up and around it. It speaks to the heart of seekers. It literally could save the world from it’s own self made misery had Christendom taught it and lead the way in putting emphasis on the message instead of the messenger.

If one lives the Law of One, then one can no longer carry attitudes of superiority. If all individuals are equally a part of the great Mind of God, then all are equally vital and every part is needed and serves a purpose.

To the extent that the people of the world embrace the Law of One can there be true equity and peace, however adhering to the Law of One is an individual decision so no amount of wishing others would likewise embrace can change free will, however those who do, bring balance into their life and peace into their hearts. They align themselves with the universe which seeks the highest good for all it’s children.

    The Scale of Osiris

In ancient Egypt a metaphoric myth is displayed on the walls of tombs showing Osiris holding the scales to weigh the heart of each human who passed into the realm of death. On the opposite side of the scale is a feather and if the heart of the deceased individual had the lightness of the feather, that soul was ushered into a place of beauty. However, if the heart was heavy with negative thoughts and fears and anxieties, it would not pass the test and would have to continue it’s journey of learning until the next rebirth and death cycle when again the heart would be weighed.

Somewhere in the telling many distortions were added so the soul instead of continuing on it’s learning journey in the rebirth and death cycle, became subject to harsh judgment, retribution, vengeance and punitive measures like hellfire. This was not in the original version but was an added feature later in history by power seeking religious leaders.

    Light Energy and Lighted Hearts

If you often have thoughts of appreciation for life, then you have a light heart. If you see the opportunities in everything instead of the drawbacks, and if hope lives in your heart then you are performing a service for humanity, then you are full of light. If your see a good future and if you see the good in all those you come in contact with, you have been born for especially for this time. You are standing on a metaphoric scale with several thousand other individuals standing on the other side of the scale and you are balancing all their negative thoughts.

One person who sees God in all things and life as complete, and who has a reverence for life and lives in serenity and joy can counterbalance 100,000 who are prideful, scornful, indifferent, angry and afraid. Only one person.

After all, was it not merely ten individuals with light hearts who could have balanced the entire city of Sodom and Gomorrah? Even this small number could not be found and so with such a sheer mass of unopposed negative thought, the city could only have but one outcome.

This covers not only those who have a dim outlook for the future, but those who are depressed and the dissatisfied. It includes also those who are deliberately planning disasters due to their anger, and their need for revenge, those who are zealots as well as those who kill for profit. You do not have to send thoughts of resistance against these individuals. You do not have to think forceful, angry thoughts. In fact, if you did, you would be using the identical energy they use. What you are able to do, is to continue to be what you are by nature and by heart, and amp up your intentions for peace, harmony, and the best outlook for the future you can.

You have chosen to be here at a time when what you are by nature would be greatly needed. You are serving in some cases, without knowing it, just by being yourself. Since appreciation, and hope are beneficial, life affirming qualities, they are the natural path and flow of universal energy. When you align your thinking with that flow then your thoughts have a surpassing power and strength when compared to negative thoughts which are of short duration and lacking in strength and vigor. This is how just living and sending your thoughts out into your world balances the energy of thousands who stand on the other side of the scale sending out negative thoughts.

I am not telling you this to make you feel superior or exalted but to send encouragement to you and let you know you are helping more than you can ever know because this is a time when negatively oriented individuals will try anything to hold onto their control and power through spreading fear and mayhem. For every outcome there is an opposite outcome available, and with you and others like you choosing the opposite outcome, the intentions and plans of those on the opposite side of the scale will never manifest in the world. They will fail, fizzle and flop, and another better outcome that you have helped to choose will come about.

Yours is the power of the smile on the face, the open appreciative heart, the twinkle in the eye, the enthusiasm for life and above all else hope for the future. This is your creative power which is superior to the 10th power by comparison to all destructive thoughts. You need only to be who you are.

    The Tao of Physics
    Part 1

There is an old saying in the western world, that east and west will never meet, however within the following information, eastern mysticism and new discoveries about the quantum universe do meet. They not only meet but enhance one another. Most of the following comes from an author who knows both and informs, inspires and amazes with his insights and correlations. These are my own notes on this wonderful work and while leaving out a lot of the more technical quantum math, I attempted to show enough to give the reader some real and wholesome food for thought. In only a few small places did I edit for the purposes of clarity. I hope the reader who is so inclined will read the entire book on line at:

The zen master points to the moon, the student sees only the finger. However the master does not blame the student because he does not see the moon because he knows that every individual has a time to see the moon.

Taoist sage Chuang Tzu wrote: “Fishing baskets are employed to catch fish; but when the fish are caught, the men forget the baskets. Snares are employed to catch hares, but when the hares are caught men forget the snares. Words are employed to convey ideas, but then the ideas are grasped, men forget the words.”

The Upanishads say; There the eye goes not, speech goes not so how could one teach it?

Both the rational scientist and the mystic both have flashes of brilliance which expands their creativity. This is the identical experience using different ways of expressing it.

The ultimate abstraction takes place where the words are replaces by symbols and where the operation of connecting the symbols are rigorously defined. In this way, scientists can condense information into one single line of symbols that it would have taken many pages to convey in words.

Does the universe speak to us in mathematics?

At the quantum level matter does not exist at any definite place but are expressed as probabilities which take the form of waves. We can never say definitely that anything will exist, only that the probability is good for it existing.

Quantum theory has then demolished the idea of solid objects so that at the sub-atomic level, the solid material objects of classical physics dissolve into wave like patterns of probabilities and the important thing is these probabilities of things, but probabilities of interconnections. A single sub-atomic particle has not meaning if it is isolated but only in it’s relationship with others particles.

Quantum theory uncovers the basic oneness of the everything. Nature does not show us any isolated building blocks but is a interconnected web of relationships as part of the whole.

The human observer is the final link, as the particles interact and are affected by the observer. Thus humans do not look at these processes, they are part of the processes. Nature and humanity cannot be separated at this level.

A particle world cannot be decomposed into elementary components. In modern physics, the universe is thus experienced as a dynamic, inseparable whole which always includes the observer in an essential way. In recent years research has shown the dynamic and ever-changing world of particles in a most striking way. Matter is completely changeable. They can be created by energy and then vanish into energy. There is no elementary particle. There is no material substance and there is no isolated objects.

Instead, the entire universe appears to be a dynamic web of inseparable energy patterns.

Particles are not isolated and can only be understood by their interaction with the surrounding environment but has to be understood as an integrated part of the whole. The sub-atomic world cannot be decomposed into it’s constitute parts but it does include the observer in an essential way. In the quantum universe space and time, isolated objects and cause and effect lose their meaning, however such an experience is very familiar to eastern mystic beliefs such as the Buddhism, Hinduism and Taoism.

    HINDUISM

The Upanishads are spiritual poems of India. The god Krishna speaks to the warrior Arjuna of the true battle of humanity. “Kill with the sword of wisdom, the doubt born of ignorance. Be one in self harmony.” The idea of Hinduism is that the multiple things and events around us are different manifestations of the same ultimate reality. All the various gods and goddesses of Hinduism are different manifestations of one ultimate reality.
Brahman is considered the is the ultimate reality and the manifestation of Brahman is the Atman or human soul.

To a Hindu, the world is a the stage of a divine play. Brahman is the divine magician who transforms himself into the world. The term ‘maya’ originally means the psychological state of anyone under the spell of the magic play.

As long as we confuse the myriad forms of the divine as reality without perceiving the unity of Brahman underlying all these forms, we are under the spell of Maya. The Hindu concept of nature is that all forms are relative and fluid and ever-changing maya, conjured up by the great magician of the play. It is a rhythmic dynamic play. As long as our view of the world is fragmented, as long as we are under the spell of maya and think we are separated from our environment and can act independently, we are bound by karma.

To be free of the spell of maya, to break the bonds of karma means to realize that all the phenomena we perceive with our senses are part of the same reality. It means, to experience, concretely and personally, that everything, including ourself is Brahman. This to a Hindu is liberation and the very essence of Hinduism.

Shiva, Vishnu and the Divine Mother are all manifestations of the fullness of Brahman.

Physics impersonate many aspects of the Divine. The Cosmic Dancer Shiva is the god of creation and destruction who sustains through his dance the endless rhythm of the universe. Vishnu is the preserver of the universe. Shakti the Divine Mother the archetypal mother or feminine aspect of the universe.

    BUDDHISM

The essence of the Buddhist experience is to pass beyond the world of intellectual distinctions and opposites to reach the world of “acintya” the unthinkable, where reality appears as undivided. The Buddhist faces the truth that everything is transitory an impermanent. That all suffering comes from not facing that all things arise and then pass away and to do away with suffering means not resisting this flow of change and life and when individuals try to cling to fixed forms which are all maya including people, events, ideas or things. There is no ego-self, that too is maya.
To a Buddhist frustration or suffering comes from grasping or clinging which is ignorance. Trying to cling to things that seem solid but which are transient and ever-changing trap the individual in a perpetual cycle of cause and effect. Instead, the Buddhist reaches for total liberation where the concept of a separate self forever disappear and the oneness of all life is a constant sensation.

Buddhism insists on freedom from spiritual authority including his own and believes each individual must walk this path on their own and that all concepts formed by the human mind about reality are ultimately void.

The design which is known also in the West of the yin and yang appears to one of symmetry but it is not static. It suggests a rotational symmetry; a continuous cyclic movement. This illustrates that when one of the two forces reaches it’s extreme, it already contains within itself the seed of it’s opposite. In the east, growth and decay are manifestations of this cycle.

    TAOISM

Of all the eastern beliefs, Taoism is the most relevant with our comparison with modern physics. Taoism mistrusts conventional knowledge and reasoning with the firm belief that the human intellect can never comprehend the Tao. Chuang Tzu says, “The most extensive knowledge does not necessarily know it and reasoning will not make men wise in it.”

Logical reasoning is considered part of the artificial world of man together with social etiquette and moral standards. They are not interested in the world at all but concentrates their attention upon the observation of nature to discern the characteristics of the Tao. They have developed an attitude which is essentially scientific and only their deep mistrust in analytic method prevented them from constructing proper scientific theories. Nevertheless, a careful observation of nature, combined with a strong intuitional led the Taoist to profound insights which are confirmed by modern scientific theories. One of the most important realizations of the Taoists are the transformation and change are an essential part of nature.

Taoists see all changes in nature as the manifestations of the dynamic interplay between the polar opposites, yin and yang and they came to believe that any pair of opposites constitutes a polar relationship where each of the two poles is dynamically linked to the other. To the western mind, this idea of the implicit unity of all opposites is extremely difficult to accept. It seems almost paradoxical to the western trained mind that values and experiences that have always been considered contrary, should be after all, part of the same thing. In the east however, it has always been considered essential to go beyond earthly opposites and in China the polar relationships of all opposites is the very essence of the Taoist thought. Chuang Tzu said, “it is not a matter of this or that but of this and that.”

Only this view sees the center of the circle responding to endless changes. The Native Americans have a similar thought stating that all life is a hoop. This is the essence also of the yin and yang. This same thinking is reflected in the Mayan Calendar and the Yugas which are periods of light followed by periods of dark in an endless circle (cycle).

    ZEN

Zen enlightenment does not mean withdrawal from the world but to the contrary, active participation in everyday things. Their emphasis was on awakening in the midst of everyday affairs and people involved in everyday life. Zen is nonetheless mystical believing that living in the present moment one can see all acts as sacred. Here is a verse typical of zen thought:

“How wondrous this, how mysterious. I carry fuel. I draw water.”

Zen belief is in living spontaneously. It sounds so simple when Po Chang said, “When hungry eat, when tired sleep.” The process of enlightenment then is to become again what we were in the beginning. When asked about seeking one’s Buddah nature, Chang said. “It’s like riding an ox in search of an ox.”

    THE UNITY OF ALL THINGS

All the different schools of thought in the east while differing in what they emphasize all share the same world view and this world view is what is emerging from modern physics.

The most important feature of the eastern view is the awareness of the unity and inter-relation of all things and events and the experience of all phenomena in the world as manifestations of a basic oneness. All things are seen as interdependent and inseparable parts of this cosmic whole; as different manifestations of the same ultimate reality. Eastern traditions, constantly refer to ultimate indivisible reality which manifests itself in all things, and of which all things are a part.

Separating things into compartments is part of the maya of a mind under illusion. This basic oneness of the universe is not only the central characteristic of the mystical experience but is also one of the most important revelations of modern physics. This becomes apparent as one peers into the atomic level and even more so as one goes deeper into matter, down to the sub-atomic particles. Basic phenomena at this level show that all is interrelated, interconnected and interdependent, and cannot be understood as isolated entities, but only as integrated parts of the whole.

The quantum universe has reversed the usual classical notion that the elementary parts of the world are fundamental reality and the various systems are just arrangements of the parts. Rather, we say that inseparable quantum inter-connectedness of the whole universe is the fundamental reality. At the atomic level, then, the solid material objects dissolve into patterns of probabilities. Quantum theory forces us to see the universe, not as a collection of physical objects, but rather, a complicated web of relations between the various parts of the unified whole.

This is the way in which the eastern mystics have experienced that world, and some of them have expressed their experience in words which are almost identical to those of atomic physicists. To the Hindus, Brahman is the unifying thread in the cosmic web, the ultimate ground of all being: He on whom the sky, the earth and the atmosphere are woven, and the wind, together with all life breaths. Him alone know as the Soul.
In Buddhism, the image of the cosmic web plays an even more important role. The description of the world as a perfect network of mutual relations where all things and events interact with each other in an infinitely complicated way. This also includes the human observer and his or her consciousness and this is also true in atomic physics. The crucial feature of atomic physics is that the human observer is not only necessary to observe the properties of an object, but is necessary even to define these properties. In atomic physics, we cannot talk about the properties of an object as such. These are only meaningful in the context of the object’s interaction with the observer. What we observe is not nature itself, but nature exposed to our method of questioning.

In atomic physics the scientist cannot play the role of the detached objective observer, but becomes involves in the world he observes to the extent that he changes the properties of the observed objects. Physicist John Wheeler suggests we change the word observer to participator, because he says, nothing is more important about the quantum principle than this, it destroys the concept of the world as <sitting> with the observer safely separated from it.

This idea of participating instead of observer is relatively new to quantum theory but it is not new to the student of mysticism. To a mystic, the observer and the observed, the subject and object are not only inseparable but also become indistinguishable. In deep meditation all things unify into an undistinguishable whole. The Upanishads say: “Where there is a duality, as it were, there one sees another; there one smells another; there one tastes another…..but where everything has become just one’s own self, when whereby and whom would one see? Then whereby and whom would one smell, then whereby whom would one taste?” This is the state of mind where the world of senses is transcended and the notion of ‘things’ is left behind.

Chuang Tzu said, “My connection with the body and it’s parts is dissolved. My perception organs are discarded. Thus leaving my material form and bidding farewell to my knowledge, I become one with the Great Pervader. This I call sitting and forgetting all things.”

Modern physics cannot go that far in the experience of the unity of all things but it has made a great step towards the world view of the eastern mystics in atomic theory. Quantum theory has abolished the notion of fundamentally separated objects, has introduced the concept of the participator to replace that of the observer, and may even find it necessary to include the human consciousness in it’s description of the world.

    BEYOND THE WORLD OF OPPOSITES

Eastern mystics recognize the individuality of things but at the same time they are aware of all differences and contrasts are relative within an all embracing unity. In normal day to day thinking, in the western world, the unity of opposites is difficult to understand.

Opposites are abstract concepts within the realm of thought and as such they are relative. By the very act of focusing on any one concept, we automatically create it’s opposite. Therefore when God pronounced everything on earth good, evil was also created. So that good and bad, pleasure and pain, life and death, are not absolute experiences belonging to different categories, but are part of the same reality; extreme parts of a single whole.

In the Bhavad Cita, Krishna says: “Be in truth eternal, be beyond earth opposites.”

This is too realize the world of non-distinction where all thoughts melt into unity. To the eastern mind, all opposites are interdependent and so their conflict can never result in total victory for one side. Such a one strives for balance, not denying either side. Eastern mystics affirm that a union between one’s male and female modes on a higher plane of consciousness where the realm of thought and language is transcended and all objects appear as a dynamic unity. A similar realm has been reached in modern physics. The exploration of the sub-atomic realm has revealed a reality which repeatedly transcends language and reasoning and the unification of concepts which has hitherto seemed opposite and irreconcilable seems one of the most startling features of this new reality.

At the sub-atomic level particles are both destructible and indestructible. Where matter is both continuous and discontinuous and force and matter are different aspects of the same phenomena. Space and time are two concepts which have been unified in physics.

We cannot describe the state of the particle in terms of fixed opposite concepts. The particle is not present in a definite place, nor is it absent. It does not change it’s position, nor does it remain at rest. What changes is the probability pattern and thus the tendency for a particle to exist in certain places. The words of the Upanishads are: “It moves, it moves not. It is far and it is near. It is within all this and it is outside of all this.”

Quantum physicists like the eastern mystics have learned how to circle around the object of contemplation; a many sided, multi-dimensional impression formed from the superimposition of single impressions from different points of view.

    THE DYNAMIC UNIVERSE

What the Taoist calls the Tao. This ultimate essence cannot be separated from it’s many manifestations. It is central in it’s very nature to manifest itself in myriad forms which come into being and disintegrate, transforming themselves into one another without end. It is dynamic and it’s characteristic is to always move onward, to be ever in the mood of moving, which is life.

Mystics have, not only in the east, but throughout the ages have maintained that everything flows. The word Brahman is derived from the root word in Sanskrit, to grow and suggests a reality that is dynamic and alive. Another word is Rita which suggests the order of nature and expresses the dynamic interplay of all things and events. The Buddhists extended the idea into the human world with the term karma which is the never ending chain of cause and effect which can only be broken by enlightenment.

Krishna says in the Gita, “If I did not engage in action, these worlds would perish. Shiva, the Cosmic Dancer, is perhaps the most perfect personification of the dynamic universe. Through his dance, Shiva sustains the manifold phenomena in the world, unifying all things by immersing them in his rhythm and making them participate in the dance a magnificent image of the dynamic unity of the universe. The general picture emerging from Hinduism is one of an organic, growing and rhythmically moving cosmos; of a universe in which everything is fluid and ever-changing, all static forms being Maya that is, existing only as illusory concepts. This last idea, the impermanence of all form, is the starting point of Buddhism. The Buddah taught that ‘all compounded things are impermanent’ and that all suffering comes from trying to cling to fixed forms, objects, people and ideas instead of accepting the world as it moves and changes. They call the world of constant change ‘samsara’ which literally means, ‘incessantly in motion’. All things are involved in this cosmic process. To accept this process and not resist it, is to flow in the current of the Tao.

Modern physics, then pictures matter not at all as passive and inert, but as being in a continuous dancing and vibrating motion whose rhythmic patterns are determined by the molecular, atomic and nuclear structures. This is also the way in which eastern mystics see the material world. They all emphasize that the universe has to be grasped dynamically, as it moves, vibrates and dances’ that nature is not in a static, but a dynamic equilibrium.

According to quantum theory, macroscopically, the material objects around us may seem passive and inert, but when we magnify such a ‘dead’ piece of stone or metal, we see that it is full of activity. The closer we look at it, the more alive it appears. All the material objects in our environment are made of atoms which link up with others in various ways to form an enormous variety of molecular structures which are not rigid and motionless, but oscillate according to their temperature and in harmony with the thermal vibrations of their environment. In the vibrating atoms, the electrons are bound to the atomic nuclei by electric forces which try to keep them as close as possible, and they respond to this confinement by whirling around extremely fast. In the nuclei, finally, the protons and neutrons are pressed into a minute volume by the strong nuclear forces, and consequently race about with unimaginable velocities.

Matter is not passive and inert, but as being in a continuous dancing and vibrating motion those rhythmic patterns are determined by the molecular, atomic and nuclear structures. This is also the way in the Eastern mystics see the material world. They all emphasize that the universe has to be grasped dynamically as it moves, vibrates and dances. That nature is not static by a dynamic equilibrium. In the words of the Taoist text, The stillness in stillness is not the real stillness. Only when there is a stillness in movement can the spiritual rhythm appear which pervades heaven and earth.
In physics, we recognize the dynamic nature of the universe not only when we go to small dimensions, the world of atoms and nuclei, but also when we turn to the large dimension, the world of stars and galaxies. Through our powerful telescopes we observe a universe in ceaseless motion.

The spinning, contracting, expanding or exploding star clusters into galaxies of various shapes, flat discs, spheres, spirals are not motionless but rotate. Our galaxy, the Milky Way, is an immense disc of stars and gas turning in space like a huge wheel, so that all its stars including the Sun and planets move around the center of the galaxy. The universe is, in fact, full of galaxies strewn through all the space and time we can see; all spinning like our own. When we study the universe as a whole, with it’s millions of galaxies, we have reached the largest scale of space and time; and again, at that cosmic level, we discover that the universe is not static but expanding.

This has been one of the most important discoveries in modern astronomy. A detailed analysis of the light received from distant galaxies has shown that the whole swarm of galaxies expands and it does so in well orchestrated way, the recession velocity of any galaxy we observe is proportional to the galaxy’s distance. The more distant the galaxy, the faster it moves away from us; at double the distance, the recession velocity will also double. This is true for not only for distances measured from our galaxy but applies to any point of reference. Whichever galaxy you happen to be in, you will observe the other galaxies rushing away from you. Nearby ones at several thousand miles per second, farther ones at higher speeds, and farthest at velocities approaching the speed of light. The light from galaxies beyond that distance will never reach us, because they move away from us faster than the speed of light.

The idea of a periodically expanding and contracting universe, which involves a scale of time and space of vast proportions, has arisen not only in modern cosmology, but also in ancient Indian mythology. Experiencing the universes as an organic and rhythmically moving cosmos, the Hindus were able to develop evolutionary cosmologies which come very close to our modern scientific models. One of these cosmologies is based on the Hindu myth of the divine play in which Brahman transforms himself into the world. (Lila is the rhythmic play which goes on in endless cycles) The One becoming the many and the many returning into the One. In Bhagavad Cita, the god Krishna describes the rhythmic play of creation in the following words:

“At the end of the night of time all things return to my nature; and when the new day of time begins I bring them again into the light.
Thus through my nature I bring forth all creation and this rolls around in the circles of time. But I am not bounded by this vast work of creation. I am and I watch the drama of works. I watch and in its work of creation nature brings forth all that moves and moves not; and thus the revolutions of the world go round.”

The Hindu sages were not afraid to identify this rhythmic divine play with the evolution of the cosmos as a whole. They pictured the universe as periodically expanding and contracting and gave the name Kalpa to the unimaginable time span between the beginning and the end of one creation. The scale of this ancient myth is indeed staggering; it has taken the human mind more than two thousand years to come up again with a similar concept.

FROM THE LARGEST TO THE SMALLEST

Science has always been searching for the basic stuff of which all matter is made but it is only been in this century that it has been possible to answer that question.

Dynamic patterns or energy bundles form the stable nuclear, atomic and molecular structures which build up matter and give it its macroscopic solid aspect, thus making us believe that it is made up of some material substance. At the microscopic level, this notion of substance is a useful approximation, but at the atomic level it no longer makes sense. Atoms consist of particles and these particles are not made of any material stuff. When we observe them, we never see any substance; what we observe are dynamic patterns of continually changing into one another, a continuous dance of energy. Quantum theory has shown that particles are not isolated grains of matter, but are probability patterns which are interconnections in an inseparable cosmic web. Relativity theory, so to speak, has made these patterns come alive by revealing their intrinsically dynamic character. It is shown that the activity of matter is the very essence of its being. The particles of the subatomic world are not only active in the sense of moving around very fast; they themselves are processes. The existence of matter and its activity cannot be separated. They are but different aspects of the same space-time reality. Eastern mystics have arrived at this same world view and they conceive the world not only in terms of movement, flow and change, but also seem to have a strong intuition for the space-time character of material objects which is so typical of relativistic physics. Physicists have to take into account the unification of space and time when they study the subatomic world and consequently they view objects of this world (the particles) as not static.

    Part 2
    EMPTINESS AND FORM

The classical, mechanistic world view was based on the notion of solid, indestructible particles moving in the void. Modern physics has brought abeveryday experience even down to the smallest detail seems so closely integrated to the grand scale features of the universe that it is well nigh impossible to contemplate the two being separated.

The quantum field, that is, the field which can take the form of quanta or particles is indeed an entirely new concept which has been extended to describe all subatomic particles and their interactions, each type of particle corresponding to a different field. In these quantum field theories, the classical contrast between the solid particles and the space surrounding them is completely overcome. The quantum field is seen as the fundamental physical entity; a continuous medium which is present everywhere in space. Particles are merely local condensations of the field; concentrations of energy which come and go, thereby losing their individual character and dissolving into the underlying field.

The following statements comes not from an eastern mystic but from Albert Einstein:
“We may therefore regard matter as being constituted by the regions of space in which the field is extremely intense…..there is no place in this new kind of physics for the field and matter, for field is the only reality.

The conception of physical things and phenomena as transient manifestations of an underlying fundamental entity is not only a basic element of quantum field theory, but also a basic element of the eastern world view. Like Einstein, the eastern mystics consider this underlying entity as the only reality: all its phenomenal manifestations are seen as transitory and illusory. This reality of the eastern mystic cannot be identified with the quantum filed of the physicist because it is seen as the essence of a phenomena in this world and , consequently, is beyond all concepts and ideas. The quantum field, on the other hand, is a well defined concept which only accounts for some of the physical phenomena. Nevertheless, the intuition behind the physicist’s interpretation of the subatomic world, in terms of the quantum field, is closely paralleled by that of the eastern mystic who interprets his or her experience of the world in terms of an ultimate underlying reality. Subsequent to the emergence of the field concept, physicists have attempted to unify the various fields into a single fundamental field which would incorporate all physical phenomena. Einstein, in particular, spent the last years of his life searching for such a unified field. The Brahman of the Hindus, like the Dharmakaya of the Buddhists and the Tao of the Taoists, can be seen, perhaps, as the ultimate unified field from which spring not only the phenomena studied in physics, but all other phenomena as well.

In the eastern view, the reality underlying all phenomena is beyond all forms and defies all description and specification. It is therefore often said to be formless, empty or void. But this emptiness is not taken for mere nothingness. It is, on the contrary, the essence of all forms and the source of life. Thus the Upanishads say:
Brahman is life. Brahman is joy. Brahman is the Void.
Joy, verily, that is the same as the Void.
The Void, verily, that is the same as joy.

Buddhists express the same idea when they call the ultimate reality Sunyata-Emptiness, or the Void and affirm that is a living Void which gives birth to all forms in the phenomenal world. The Taoists ascribe a similar infinite and endless creativity to the Tao and, again, call it empty. The Tao of Heaven is empty and formless. Lao Tzu compares the Tao to a hollow valley, or a vessel which is forever empty and thus has the potential of containing an affinity of things. In spite of using terms like empty and void, the eastern sages make it clear they do not mean ordinary emptiness when they talk about Brahman, Sunyata or Tao, but, on the contrary, a Void which has an infinite creative potential. Thus, the Void of the eastern mystics can easily be compared to the quantum field of subatomic physics. Like the quantum field, it gives birth to an infinite variety of forms which it sustains and, eventually, reabsorbs.

The phenomenal manifestations of the mystical Void, like the subatomic particles, are not static and permanent, but dynamic and transitory, coming into being and vanishing in one ceaseless dance of movement and energy. Like the subatomic world of the physicist, the phenomenal world of the eastern mystic is a world of samsara of continuous birth and death. Being transient manifestations of the Void, the things in this world do not have any fundamental identity. This is especially emphasized in Buddhist philosophy which denies the existence of any material substance and also holds that the idea of a constant ‘self’ undergoing successive experiences is an illusion. Buddhists have frequently compared the illusion of a material substance and an individual self to the phenomenon of a water wave, in which the up-and-down movement of the water particles makes us believe that ‘a piece’ of water moves over the surface. It is interesting to note that physicists have used the same analogy in the context of field theory to point out the illusion of a material substance created by a moving particle.

Thus Herman Weyl writes: “According to the field theory of matter, a material particle such as an electron is merely a small domain of the electrical field within which the field strength assumes enormously high values, indicating that a comparatively huge field energy is concentrated in a very small space. Such an energy knot, which by no means is clearly delineated against the remaining field, propagates through empty space like a water across the surface of a lake: there is no such thing as one and the same substance of which the electron consists at all time.

In the quantum field theory, the field is not only the underlying essence of all material objects, but it carries their mutual interactions in the form of waves. In the east this is called chi (ch’i). The field is a continuum which is present everywhere in space and yet in its particle aspect has a discontinuous, granular structure. The two apparently contradictory concepts are thus unified and seen as merely different aspects of the same reality. As always in a relativistic theory, the unification of the two opposite concepts takes place in a dynamic way: the two aspects of matter transform themselves endlessly into one another. Eastern mysticism emphasizes a similar dynamic unity between the Void and the forms which it creates.

The fusion of opposite concepts into a single whole has been expressed in the Buddhist sutra in the celebrated words:
“Form is emptiness, and emptiness is indeed form. Emptiness is not different from form, form is not different from emptiness.”

    WHAT HAPPENED TO EMPTY SPACE?

The distinction between matter and empty space finally had to be abandoned when it became evident that virtual particles can come into being spontaneously out of the void, and vanish again into the void, without any nuclear or other strongly interacting particle being present. This happens all the time. The vacuum is far from empty. On the contrary, it contains an unlimited number of particles which come into being and vanish without end. Here then, is the closest parallel to the Void of eastern mysticism in modern physics. Like the eastern Void, the physical vacuum as it is called in the field theory is not a state of mere nothingness, but contains all potentiality for all forms of the particle world. These forms, in turn, are not independent physical entities but merely transient manifestations of the underlying Void. As the sutra says, ‘Form is emptiness, and emptiness if indeed form.’ The relation between the virtual particles and the vacuum is an essentially dynamic relation; the vacuum is truly a ‘living Void, pulsating in endless rhythms of creation and destruction. The discovery of the dynamic quality of the vacuum is seen by many physicists as one of the most important findings of modern physics. From its role as an empty container of the physical phenomena, the void has emerged as a dynamic quality of most importance. The results of modern physics, thus seem to confirm the words of the Chinese age Chang Tsai:

“When one knows that the Great Void is full of chi, one realizes that there is no such thing as nothing.”

    THE COSMIC DANCE

The exploration of the sub-atomic world in the twentieth century has revealed an intrinsically dynamic nature of matter. One tries to imagine the flow of energy going through the patterns that make up the particle world. Modern physics has shown us that movement and rhythm are essential properties of matter; that all matter, whether here on earth or in outer space, is involved in a continual cosmic dance. The eastern mystics have a dynamic view of the universe similar to that of modern physics, and consequently it is not surprising that they too, have used the image of the dance to convey their intuition of nature. A beautiful example of such an image of rhythm and dance is given by Alexandra David Neel in her Tibetan journey, where she describes how she met a Lama who referred to himself as the ‘master of sound’ and gave here the following account of his view of the matter. ‘All things…are aggregations of atoms that dance and by their movement produce sounds. When the rhythm of the dance changes, the sound it produces also changes…… Each atom perpetually sings its song, and the sound, at every moment, creates dense and subtle forms.’

The similarity of this view to that of modern physics becomes particularly striking when we remember that sound is a wave with a certain frequency which changes when the sound does, and that particles, the modern equivalent of the old concept of atoms, are also waves with frequencies proportional to their energies. According to field theory, each particle does indeed ‘perpetually sing its song’, producing rhythmic patterns of energy in dense and subtle forms. The metaphor of the cosmic dance has found its most profound and beautiful expression in Hinduism in the image of the dancing god Shiva. Among his many incarnations, Shiva, one of the oldest and most popular Indian gods, appears as the King of Dancers. According to Hindu belief, all life is part of a great rhythmic process of creation and destruction, of death and rebirth, and Shiva’s dance symbolizes this eternal life/death rhythm which goes on in endless cycles. In the words of Arnanda Coomaraswamy, “Nature in inert, and cannot dance till Shiva wills it: He rises from his rapture, and dancing sends through inert matter pulsing waves of awakening sound, and lo! Matter also dances, appearing as a glory round about him. Dancing, he sustains its manifold phenomena. In the fullness of time, still dancing, he destroys all forms and names by fire and gives new rest. This is poetry but nonetheless is science.

The dance of Shiva symbolizes not only the cosmic cycles of creation and destruction, but also the daily rhythm of birth and death which is seen in Indian mysticism as the basis for all existence. At the same time, Shiva reminds us that the manifold forms in the world are maya, not fundamental, but illusory and ever changing as he keeps creating and dissolving the in the ceaseless flow of his dance. As Heinrich Zimmer puts it: ‘His gestures wild and full of grace, precipitate the cosmic illusion; his flying arms and legs and the swaying of his torso produce indeed, they are the continuous creation-destruction of the universe, death exactly balancing birth, annihilation the end of every coming forth.

Indian artists of the tenth and twelfth centuries have represented Shiva’s cosmic dance in magnificent bronze sculptures of dancing figures with four arms whose superbly balanced and yet dynamic gestures express the rhythm and unity of life. The various meanings of the dance are conveyed by the details of these figures in a complex pictorial allegory. The upper right hand of the god holds a drum to symbolize the primal sound of creation, the upper left bears a tongue of flame, the element of destruction. The balance of the two hands represents the dynamic balance of creation and destruction in the world, accentuated further by the dancer’s calm detached face in the center of the two hands, in which the polarity of creation and destruction is dissolved and transcended. The second right hand is raised in the sign of ‘do not fear’, symbolizing maintenance, protection and peace, while the remaining hand points down to the uplifted foot which symbolizes release from the spell of maya. The god is pictured as dancing on the body of a demon, the symbol of man’s ignorance which has to be conquered before liberation can be attained. Shiva’s dance, in the words of Coomaraswamy is the clearest image of the activity of God which any art or religion can boast.

As the god is a personification of Brahman, his activity is that of Brahman’s myriad manifestations in the world. The dance of Shiva is the dancing universe; the ceaseless flow of energy going through an infinite variety of patterns that melt into one another.

Modern physics has shown that the rhythm of creation and destruction is not only manifest in the turn of the seasons and in the birth and death of all living creatures, but is also the very essence of inorganic matter. According to quantum field theory, all interactions between the constituents of matter take place through the emission and absorption of virtual particles. More than that, the dance of creation and destruction is the basis of the very existence of matter, since all material particles ‘self-interact’ by emitting and reabsorbing virtual particles. Modern physics has thus revealed that every subatomic particle not only performs an energy dance; a pulsating process of creation and destruction. The patterns of dance are an essential aspect of each particle’s nature and determine many of its properties. Virtual particles are created and destroyed by the vacuum. This, not only matter, but also the void, participates in the cosmic dance, creating and destroying energy patterns without end. For the modern physicist, then, Shiva’s dance is the dance of subatomic matter. As in Hindu mythology, it is a continual dance of creation and destruction involving the whole cosmos; the basis for all existence and of all natural phenomena.

Hundreds of years ago, Indian artists created visual images of dancing Shiva in a beautiful series of bronzes. In our time, physicists have used the most advanced technology to portray the patterns of the cosmic dance. The bubble chamber photographs of interacting particles, which bear testimony to the continual rhythm of creation and destruction in the universe, are visual images of the dance of Shiva equaling those of the Indian artists in beauty and profound significance. The metaphor of the cosmic dance thus unifies ancient mythology, religious art, and modern physics. It is indeed as Coomaraswamy has said, ‘poetry, but none the less science.’

    PATTERNS OF CHANGE

Eastern mystics tell us again and again that all things and events we perceive are creations of the mind, arising from a particular state of consciousness and dissolving again if this state is transcended. Hinduism holds that all shapes and structures around us are created by a mind under the spell of maya, and it regards our tendency to attach deep significance to them as the basic human illusion. Buddhists call this illusion avidya, or ignorance. The Yogacara school holds that all forms we perceive are ‘mind only’; projections, or ‘shadows’ of the mind. Out of the mind spring innumerable things conditioned by discrimination…..these things people accept as an external world……what appears to be external does not exist in reality; it is indeed mind that is seem as multiplicity; the body, property, and above all these, I say, are nothing but mind.

    S-MATRIX THEORY

S-matrix theory comes very close to eastern thought not only in its ultimate conclusion, but also in its general view of matter. It describes the world of subatomic particles as a dynamic network of events and emphasizes change and transformation rather than fundamental structures or entities. In the east, such an emphasis is particularly strong in Buddhist thought where all things are seen as dynamic, impermanent and illusory. Thus S. Radhakrishnan writes:
“How do we come to think of things, rather than processes in this absolute flux? By shutting our eyes to the successive events. It is an artificial attitude that makes sections in the stream of change, and calls them things.

When we shall know the truth of things, we shall realize how absurd it is for us to worship isolated products of the incessant series of transformations as though they were eternal and real. Life is no thing or state of being, but continuous movement and change.

Both the modern physicist and the eastern mystic realized that all phenomena in this world of change and transformation are dynamically interrelated. Hindus and Buddhists see this interrelation of a cosmic law, the law of karma, but they are generally not concerned with any specific patterns in the universal network of events. Chinese philosophy, on the other hand, which also emphasizes movement and change, has developed the notion of dynamic patterns which are continually formed and dissolved again in the cosmic flow of the Tao.

    INTERPENETRATION

So far, our exploration of the world view suggested by modern physics has repeatedly shown that the idea of ‘basic building blocks’ of matter is no longer tenable.
In the past, this concept was extremely successful in explaining the physical world in terms of a few atoms; the structures of the atoms in terms of a few nuclei surrounded by electrons; and finally, the structures of the nuclei in terms of two nuclear ‘building blocks’, the proton and neutron. Thus, atoms, nuclei, and hadrons were, in turn, considered to be ‘elementary particles’. None of them, however, fulfilled that expectation. Each time, these particles turned out to be composite structures themselves, and physicists hoped that the next generation of constituents would finally reveal themselves as the ultimate components of matter. On the other hand, the theories of atomic and subatomic physics made the existence of elementary particles, increasingly unlikely.

They revealed a basic interconnection of matter, showing that energy of motion can be transformed into mass, and suggesting that particles are processes rather than objects. All these developments strongly indicated that the simple mechanistic picture of basic building blocks had to be abandoned, and yet many physicists are still reluctant to do so. The age-old tradition of explaining complex structures by breaking them down into simpler constituents is so deeply ingrained in western thought that the search for these basic components is still going on.

    RELIGION AND WESTERN THOUGHT

The aforementioned view of particle physics is a radically different school of thought than those who cling to the Newton traditional view. The newest discoveries start with the idea that nature cannot be reduced to fundamental entities, such as elementary particles or fundamental fields. It has to be understood entirely through its self-consistency, with its components being consistent with one another and with themselves. This idea has arisen in the Tao and of that of the S-matrix theory and is known as the ‘bootstrap’ physics hypothesis. It’s originator and main advocate is Geoffrey Chew, who on one hand has developed the idea of a general ‘bootstrap’ philosophy of nature and, and on the other, has used (in collaboration with other physicists) to construct specific models of particles formulated in S-matrix language. Chew has described the bootstrap hypothesis in several articles which provide the basis for the following presentation.

The bootstrap philosophy constitutes the final rejection of the mechanistic world view in modern physics. Newton’s universe was constructed from a set of basic entities with certain fundamental properties, which had been created and are not amenable to further analysis. In one way or another, this notion was implicit in all theories of natural science until the bootstrap hypothesis stated explicitly that the world cannot be understood as an assemblage of entities but the universe is, in fact, a dynamic web of interrelated events. None or the properties of any part of this web is fundamental; they all follow from the properties of the other parts, and the overall consistency of their mutual interrelations determines the structure of the entire web.

Thus, the bootstrap philosophy represents the culmination of a view of nature that arose in quantum theory with the realization of an essential and universal interrelationship, acquired it’s dynamic content in relativity theory, and was formulated in terms of reaction, probabilities in S-matrix theory. At the same time this view of nature came ever closer to the eastern world view and is now in harmony with eastern thought, both in its general philosophy and in its specific picture of matter. The bootstrap hypothesis not only denies the existence of fundamental constituents of matter, and thus abandons another idea which has been an essential part of natural science for hundreds of years. This thinking was planted and now so imbedded in the western mind that this prevents any other kind of thinking.

Descartes wrote about ‘the laws which God has put into nature’, and Newton believed the highest aim of his scientific work was to give evidence of the laws impressed upon nature by God. The discover the ultimate fundamental laws of nature remained the aim of natural science for three centuries following Newton.

In modern physics, a very different attitude has now developed. Physicists have come to see that all theories of natural phenomena, including the ‘laws’ they describe, are creations of the human mind; properties of our conceptual map of reality, rather than the reality itself.

All science is theory and since all natural phenomena are ultimately interconnected as they have proven, in order to explain any one of them we need to understand all the others and this is totally impossible. All we can make is approximation but the error involved in approximation is often small enough to make such an approach meaningful.

The last three hundred years of science, then has been influenced by the Judaeo-Christian belief system. The traditional view sees the bootstrap hypothesis as unscientific because they are seeking a framework and the quantum cannot be placed in any framework and reference points keep changing. The western mind does not accept first and foremost the concept of constant change. It is evident that the complete ‘bootstrap’ view of nature, in which all phenomena in the universe are uniquely determined by mutual self-consistency, comes very close to the eastern world view. An indivisible universe, in which all things and events are interrelated, would hardly make sense unless it were self-consistent. In a way, the requirement of self-consistency, which forms the basis for the bootstrap hypothesis, and the unity of interrelation of all phenomena, which are so strongly emphasized in eastern mysticism, are just different aspects of the same idea. This close connection is most clearly expressed in Taoism. For the Taoist sages, all phenomena in the world were part of the cosmic Way.

In the eastern view then, as in the view of modern physics, everything in the universe is connected to everything else and no part of it is fundamental. The properties of any part are determined, not by some fundamental law, but the properties of all the other parts. Both physicists and mystics realize the resulting impossibility of fully explaining any phenomenon, but then they take different attitudes. Physicists, as discussed before, are satisfied with an approximate understanding of nature. The eastern mystics, on the other hand, are not interested in approximate, or ‘relative’ knowledge. They are concerned with ‘absolute’ knowledge involving an understanding of the totality of life. Being well aware of the essential interrelationship of the universe, they realize that to explain something means, ultimately, to show how it is connected to everything else. As this is impossible, the eastern mystics insist that no single phenomenon can be explained. Thus Ashvaghosha said:
“All things in their fundamental nature are not namable or explicable. They cannot be adequately expressed in any form of language.”

Eastern thought is interested in freeing the mind. In a universe which is an inseparable whole, there is no room for a fixed fundamental entity. The experience of interpenetration in the state of enlightenment is where all phenomenon in the universe are harmoniously interrelated. This cosmic network of interpenetrating things and events is illustrated in the Avatamsaka Sutra by the metaphor of Indra’s net, a vast network of precious gems hanging over the palace of the god Indra. In the words of Sir Charles Eliot:
In the heaven of Indra, there is said to be a network of pearls, so arranged that if you look at one you see all the others reflected in it. In the same way each object in the world is not merely itself but involved every other object and in fact is everything else. ‘In every particle of dust, there are present Buddhas without number.’

The idea of each particle containing all others has not only arisen in eastern mysticism, but also in western mystical thought. It is implicit, for example, in William Blake’s famous lines:

To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
    And eternity in an hour.

    <These>

Physicists derive their knowledge from experiments; mystics from meditative insights. Both are observations, and in both fields these observations are acknowledged as the only source of knowledge. The object of observation is of course very different in the two cases. The mystic looks within and explores his or her consciousness at its various levels, which include the body as the physical manifestations of the mind. The experience of one’s body is, in fact, emphasized in many eastern traditions and is often seen as the key to the mystical experience of the world. When we are healthy, we do not feel any separate parts of our body but are aware of it as an integrated whole, and this awareness generates a feeling of well-being and happiness. In a similar way, the mystic is aware of the wholeness of the entire cosmos which is experienced as an extension of the body. In the words of Lama Covinda, To the enlightened man….whose consciousness embraces the universe, to him the universe becomes his ‘body’, while his physical body becomes a manifestation of the Universal Mind, his inner vision an expression of the highest reality, and his speech an expression of eternal truth and mantric power. In contrast to the mystic, the physicist begins his enquiry into the essential nature of things by studying the material world. Penetrating into ever deeper realms of matter, he has become aware of the essential unity of all things and events. More than that, he has also learnt that he himself and his consciousness are an integral part of this unity.

Thus the mystic and the physicist arrive at the same conclusion; one starting from the inner realm, the other from the outer world. The harmony between their views confirms the ancient Indian wisdom that Brahman, the ultimate reality without, is identical to Atman, the reality within. A further similarity between the ways of the physicist and mystic is the fact that their observations take place in realms which are inaccessible to the ordinary senses. In modern physics, these are the realms of the atomic and subatomic world; in mysticism they are non-ordinary states of consciousness in which the sense world would be transcended. Mystics often talk about experiencing higher dimensions in which impressions of different centers of consciousness are integrated into a harmonious whole.

Should physicists, therefore, abandon the scientific method and begin to meditate? Or can there be a mutual influence between science and mysticism; perhaps even a synthesis?
All these questions have to be answered in the negative. Science and mysticism are two complimentary manifestations of the human mind; of it’s rational and intuitive faculties. The modern physicist experiences the world through an extreme specialization of the intuitive mind. The two approaches are entirely different and involve far more than a certain view of the physical world. However, they are complimentary, as we have learned to say in physics. Neither is comprehended in the other, nor can either of them be reduced to the other but both of them are necessary, supplementing one another for a fuller understanding of the world. To paraphrase an old Chinese saying, mystics understand the roots of the Tao but not its branches; scientists understand it’s branches but not its roots. Science does not need mysticism and mysticism does not need science; but man needs both.

Mystical experience is necessary to understand the deepest nature of things, and science is essential for modern life. What we need, therefore, is not a synthesis but a dynamic interplay between mystical intuition and scientific analysis. So far, this has not been achieved in our society. At present, our attitude is to yang, to use Chinese phraseology, too rational, male and aggressive. Scientists themselves are a typical example. Although their theories are leading to a world view which is similar to that of the mystics, it is striking how little this has affected the attitude of most scientists. In mysticism, knowledge cannot be separated from a certain way of life which becomes its living manifestation. To acquire mystical knowledge means to undergo a transformation; one could even say that the knowledge is the transformation. Scientific knowledge, on the other hand, can often stay abstract and theoretical. Thus most of today’s physicists do not seem to realize the philosophical, cultural and spiritual implications of their theories. Many of them actively support a society which is still based on the mechanistic, fragmented world view, without seeing that science points way beyond such a view, towards a oneness of the universe which includes not only our natural environment but also our fellow human beings. The world view implied by modern physics is inconsistent with our present society, which does not reflect the harmonious interrelatedness we observe in nature. To achieve such a state of dynamic balance, a radically different social and economic structure will be needed: a cultural revolution in the true sense of the word. The survival of our whole civilization may depend on whether we can bring about such change. It will depend, ultimately on our ability to adopt some of the yin attitudes of eastern mysticism; to experience the wholeness of nature and the art of living in harmony.

Post  Carol Fri Mar 23, 2012 11:31 pm

    Rumi Quotes

I want to sing like the birds sing, not worrying about who hears or what they think.

Be like the sun for grace and mercy. Be like the night to cover others' faults. Be like running water for generosity. Be like death for rage and anger. Be like the Earth for modesty. Appear as you are. Be as you appear.

    Be empty of worrying.
    Think of who created thought!

If in thirst you drink water from a cup, you see God in it. Those who are not in love with God will see only their own faces in it.

    In truth everything and everyone
Is a shadow of the Beloved,
And our seeking is His seeking
And our words are His words...
We search for Him here and there,
    while looking right at Him.
Sitting by His side, we ask:
'O Beloved, where is the Beloved?'

God turns you from one feeling to another and teaches you by means of opposites, so that you will have two wings to fly - not one.

Remember, the entrance door to the sanctuary is inside you.

People of the world don't look at themselves, and so they blame one another.

Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.

The wailing of broken hearts is the doorway to God.

Don't grieve. Anything you lose comes round in another form.

I was a tiny bug. Now a mountain. I was left behind. Now honored at the head. You healed my wounded hunger and anger, and made me a poet who sings about joy.

Most people guard against going into the fire, and so end up in it.

You were born with wings, why do you prefer to crawl through life.

Observe the wonders as they occur around you. Don't claim them. Feel the artistry moving through and be silent.

Every tree and plant in the meadow seemed to be dancing, those which average eyes would see as fixed and still.

Everyone sees the unseen in proportion to the clarity of his heart, and that depends upon how much he has polished it. Whoever has polished it more sees more-more unseen forms become manifest to him.

I died a mineral, and became a plant. I died a plant and rose an animal. I died an animal and I was man. Why should I fear? When was I less by dying?

Sell your cleverness and buy bewilderment.

You are quaffing drink from a hundred fountains: whenever any of these hundred yields less, your pleasure is diminished. But when the sublime fountain gushes from within you, no longer need you steal from the other fountains.

In your light I learn how to love.
In your beauty, how to make poems.
    You dance inside my chest,
    where no one sees you.

If you are irritated by every rub, how will you be polished?

Knock, And He'll open the door
Vanish, And He'll make you shine like the sun
Fall, And He'll raise you to the heavens
Become nothing, And He'll turn you into everything.

The wound is the place where the Light enters you

That which God said to the rose, and caused it to laugh in full-blown beauty, He said to my heart, and made it a hundred times more beautiful.

People want you to be happy.
Don't keep serving them your pain!
If you could untie your wings
and free your soul of jealousy,
    you and everyone around you
    would fly up like doves.

When Rumi said ‘be empty of worrying, remember who created thought.’ it started a chain of thought about the subject of worry. Like doubt and suspicion, worry is of a very low frequency and that is why when low frequency thoughts enter the mind and are entertained, they change your whole demeanor and attitude and can make you feel drained and tired. Worry can metaphorically stick you in one place where you are unable to move forward.
Worry is the assumption that something negative is coming in your future. Worry is a implanted habit, sometimes transferred from parents or others in formative years who have influence. It is the expectation that the bad will happen.
Did you know that all physical experiences begin in the realm of thought, and that what we think of most begins the process of bringing that experience into our physical life? That is why so many people have the situation of experiencing what they do not want to happen because they have worried about it and the more we focus upon a thing, the more real it becomes until we find it right there in the 3D physical realm staring us in the face. The only way to keep such a thing from going from the etheric to the physical is to not worry about it.

Jesus, who was among other things a great mystic as was Rumi explained that worry was not the mark of one who claims to trust in the good mind of God. He used the wild birds who have no money system and yet they are fed, and the flowers who have no means to make clothing yet are adorned in beautiful garments as examples to those who worry about obtaining necessities of life. He termed them having little faith.

Present day humans are used to working for money and then taking that money and purchasing the necessary things they need for their physical sustenance and Jesus added. “don’t you know God knows you need all these things.” He was reminding them that the Infinite Intelligence that is God having created the human body knows better than any human what it takes to maintain a human life.

Trusting things will be alright will assure things will be alright, whereas worry will assure you will get what you focus on. If you can live your life expecting good things, the good mind of God will bring to you good things, because another name for God is All That Is, which means unlimited and infinite. When the Infinite Intelligence of the universe is looked at this way, worry has no place and it vanishes like a molecule of water vapor on a mountain pass.

In the Rumi quotes, this one stood out:

Everyone sees the unseen in proportion to the clarity of his heart, and that depends upon how much he has polished it. Whoever has polished it more sees more-more unseen forms become manifest to him.

And there is this- Ralph Waldo Emerson says:

"Great hearts send forth steadily the secret forces that incessantly draw great events, and wherever the mind of man goes, nature will accompany him, no matter what the path."

    Living In the Heart

Many ancient cultures flagged a year far in their future as the Great Shift of the Ages and that time is now. It is the time for a window of opportunity to open up, but only for those who want to make the shift because this shift is voluntary and like the books where you write your own ending, if you see it is to your advantage to remain in the brain zone, you will think it quite ridiculous to allow your heart to lead you.

For those who listen to their hearts they will change and their world will change.

This time Cain will not kill Abel. He will embrace his brother. We are all getting a chance to rewrite it and this time get it right. This time the man will not blame the woman because having both eaten from the tree of experience during their brief dream out of the garden they have become wiser.

The heart has always been our compass back to the garden but too many of us have made it walk two steps behind.

In the other ending, Cain will continue to kill his brother and women will continue to be subservient, competition and avarice will continue to multiply itself and because humanity is created with a brain and a heart those who do not activate and open theirs will continue to lead a denatured life living outside the garden.

Unlike the brain who begins to feel uncomfortable with too many other people around, the heart has room enough for everyone and so peace will spread, and the garden will return and the air will carry a fragrance of hope to all those who choose now to live in and by the heart.

The End of Cycles and Rapid Evolution

Why is this a time of great struggle? When there is suffering and deprivation all over the earth? Why is the world “feeling” the suffering of others like never before? Physical hardship, loss of all kinds, radical changes, upheavals and record breaking weather causing havoc. Why is this happening? With the widespread use of the internet, other people’s personal pain now comes into our own living rooms and many are moved by it.

However, something is hidden from the view of so many; something the media does not know about so it cannot report on. Something which makes this era like none before it. The reason there is such a variety of changes and turmoil is that there is a choice being offered inherent within all the difficulties, all the chaos and all the challenges, and that choice involves the attitude and reaction of each human towards the struggles and losses of others as well as their own.

There are two possible reactions humans can display when times get hard to navigate. The first reaction is to close the heart out of fear and to look only to the needs of the self. The second reaction is to open the heart in compassion and to extend the self and one’s resources to alleviate the suffering of others. This pattern is evident in times of stress as in war times and disasters.

Oh, you hear individuals say, I can hardly read the news because it’s so terrible, and so some don’t look, and yet stress still comes into their lives on a personal level. It seems it cannot be avoided.

There is no evolution without something that resists or opposes the individual. In normal times life is full of opportunities to either overcome or succumb, but in times such as these at the end of a cycle of evolution, such things come in heaping portions.

What appears to be distress are just that to the human, but on a soul level, they are opportunities depending on how one looks at them. It takes a lot to open a heart which has closed itself off. So when you see the mindless, senseless pain being inflicted that viewing causes a change within the heart. Yes, there are things that make us want to give up on the human race, but there is valor and self sacrifice and saviors and heroes abounding also. The media only picks up a fraction of those.

There is intelligence and purpose at work here but under the surface of what appears to be a random chaotic maelstrom.

This is not a punishment. The purpose is not that the human race should die, although some are ending their earthly contract to further this end. The purpose is to choose to open the heart and evolve. That is the goal, the opportunity, but it is disguised because it must be a free will choice, not a forced façade of convenient love. If I repeat this it is a crucial point. The person must open his or her heart voluntarily, freely for no other reason than they have taken it to heart and having taken this to heart, the heart open and reaches out and compels the individual to forget his own needs.

Never look upon the things happening and complain and bemoan, for opening of the heart means that the human being has finally shed it’s animal selfishness and realizes there is one family of man. It means that the pack mentality is overcome, at least in these individuals, as well as the animal fear and there are so many lessons that the open heart can teach that the closed heart has yet to learn.

The brain may say, it’s only smart to take care of number one and forget the rest, but the open heart, sends a feeling to every cell, of how right and wonderful and aligned with life it is to find room in the heart for all.

    Quantum Religion

Quantum science has discovered that our universe comprises a vast sea of energy that permeates everything and everyone.

Could this be the interpenetrating intelligence all the holy books call God?

In addition, physicists tell us, that the physical reality that we perceive with our senses is not independent of our conscious awareness of it.
We are born and at that point, we start our reality projector. Reality is not something you see with your eyes but something you project with your mind. No two views are precisely the same just like no two snowflakes and sets of fingerprints are the same.

Time and again scientist are able to prove in their laboratories by means of real physical experiments that objective reality is an illusion and a particle which seems so solid in mostly empty space. Some of the holy books say everything on earth is an illusion or maya.

The research also reveal that physical objects are not separate things but are infinitely connected at the quantum level. If nothing is real on the quantum level and that must hold true for the sub atomic, and atomic level, as well as all molecules and particles of matter. Matter is not solid, but is virtual reality, a simulation from the moment we are born until the moment we draw out last breath.

But where is the love in all that science, you may say and how can death be accounted for?

Because of not seeing life as an illusion, humans view death as grim and serious. If death were regarded as the next leg of the adventure, instead of an end, humanity would not cling and clutch and tremble at the thought. Since each human projects their own reality, there is no one other than themselves to blame for suffering. Life teems and proliferates and is encouraged by the intelligence presence in all things. All trees and plants reach for the sun which means life and all organisms seek to preserve their own health and life, as well as that of the whole they are a part of. Symbiosis; the reaching out for mutual assistance and support is life affirming and this is love in it’s basic form. The kind of love a mother has for a child.

The calculated mass of the entire universe is the same as the mass of one proton, say mathematical equations, and what some call entanglement was most eloquently penned by William Blake. “A universe in a grain of sand.” Literally? The mathematical research says literally, yes, and that all protons are connected through the vacuum to every other proton in the universe.

What really is this? What is this, that scientists and western religion will not call God, and yet has the attributes of God?

Could it be that science calls God a force and religion calls God a person, yet they are only using a different vocabulary to say the same thing? It is not a matter of this or that but of this and that.

Whether religion is ready for this view of God remains to be seen but what is emerging is growing more and more indisputable. Where does one put up a shrine or edifice to a God which is at the heart of every atom on the planet; every cell of every mineral, plant, animal and yes, every other human?

The holy books will never be viewed the same after that. When science and religion kiss and embrace will humanity kiss and embrace? It cannot help but go rapidly in that direction. New research and discoveries are exploding and without the math to support them, the old views are dropping away.

Humanity would be wise, if they circled back and brought forward the best of what was created in the past and marry it to the thrilling discoveries of the present, thus creating a technology in cooperation with the earth, not at odds with her.

The Brain and Heart in Unity

If you totally allow the heart to lead you, you will never be wrong, for the heart is the connection to your true self and the core of your being and through your heart comes your real power as creator in your universe and if you let your heart make decisions instead of your human brain, You will see the attributes of your own higher core being. The physical heart in your chest is the largest generator of energy in your body and it mirrors the pulsating throbbing of the Wholenesss as it circulates love around all it’s systems. It is the energy that comes from everywhere because it is everywhere.

The brain will rush you through life but life filtered through the heart will allow you to savor life.

Those leadings, nudges, dreams, inner urges and hints do not come from your brain, they come from the higher self through your heart.

In every question in life ask yourself, what does my heart tell me? Even it the route you take does not make logical sense to the mind don’t give up and give in if your heart leads you to go another way.

The epic hero does not appeal to the physical mind, it appeals to the heart and that is what impels you to weep at victory and cheer for the downtrodden. It is the best part of a human being because it can reach up out of the morass for the light because it feels the light is there. The brain needs to see the light first before believing in it. The heart just knows.

The heart sits as the wise Buddha contemplating and observing all around it as the brain goes rushing around trying to overcome supposed enemies to it’s existence.

If you can honor all parts of yourself in perfect balance you can be the intermediary that causes the brain and heart to work together as both sees it is a part of the wholeness which is you, and you within the wholeness of the higher mind and the higher mind within the wholeness of All That Is.

    The Eternal Balance of Being

For all those who have felt abandoned, having known love and lost it, there will be a time of reuniting and consolation. For those who have held on tight to a human hand in the darkness only to feel it slip away; for all those wounded hearts there will be many hands that surround and embrace and offer their hands with reassurance that it was all just a dream and nothing more.

Memories like these will fade with the rising sun and one will feel refreshed and hopeful.

For those who have felt they missed the picnic, there will be a banquet and the very atmosphere will be scented with jubilation. Those who have suffered injustices and felt the seed of love has grown dormant within them; who heart has come to feel like a lead weight, there will be a germination and a blooming until the soul resembles a garden.

For the ones who have sat in the corner feeling unloved and ugly, scared and damaged, like broken dolls tossed on the trash heap, without a doubt they will look in the mirror of their own soul and see that was a costume they wore to the party where they pretended to be hideous for the most hideous mask hides the most beautiful of beings. Those will laugh to see it was their distorted and broken mirror and only that was seen.

When you stepped through the mirror into this world, you stepped into a world where everything is seen in reverse. This was part of the plan, for you to learn to learn to let your heart lead instead of your eyes, to educate the deeper part of yourself by putting on the blindfold and boldly stepping through the mirror into the unknown.

Do not wait to step through the mirror to awaken from your slumber. You can do it while still in costume and mask. You can peer through the reverse mirror and see that all I have said in the foregoing will occur, not because your mind says it will but because your heart feels it is right and will happen. Those hands on the other side of the mirror are always reaching out as a support for you, but you have to look deep into the mirror to see them.

And when you step through the mirror once again you will have learned what a physical life can be, just as the waking person wonders what the dreamer dreams about. You will no longer guess for you will know, and as the dark times and dark dreams slip away only love-light of the One Infinite Creator remains.

    Being Different

When you can be happy just because you exist, while others need a reason to be happy, you have discovered something quite valuable.
You might even be viewed by others as lacking and needy because they look around and need to see your symbols of happiness and assume you are unhappy. They do not understand being different.

They can only judge by their own standards, but their standards are not mine for they see possessions as proof that it pays to be the same. I would rather live in a bare cave and be able to think free thoughts, then to live in cloud of pretense of being content, waiting for the next reason to be happy. This substitution will not work for me for when I feel the wind I feel an embrace. The fire burns for me, the stars shine for me, the ocean crashes at my feet because I am a witness to it’s power. I see what is there but invisible to some, and when I look within my own cells I see each one is one instrument is a vast infinite orchestra each one playing his part superbly and brilliantly and the work of art produced is me.

What else do I need to make me happy? I already have it all. Look at all the ashes and rust and dust that the nations of humanity hold up to prove to each other that they are happy; that they have made it up their ladder of success, while the ladder itself is dissolving as they take their foot off the last rung.

Those who are different like me or jumping off those ladders all over the world where such ladders exist. The big question is who made the ladder and to what does it really lead?

I believe in music I can’t hear and beings I can’t see and places I cannot touch, yet my heart leads me forward even my own senses give me no support. There is a magic that lies in seeing the wisdom and purpose in everything. That view devaluates the tangible while elevating the intangible.

I am happy just for the gift of being able to see my own happiness and needs no other reason for being.

When you can see yourself as integral, irreplaceable and uniqueness, with your own special signature frequency which no other has except you, then you will appreciate that you really are one of the notes of the symphony, and without you, that one note, the song could not be complete.

No matter where you picked up the concept of unworthiness, it’s time now to put it down. That concept wasn’t yours in the first place. Because you fit where only you can fit. No other being has the combination you have. Would the Mona Lisa be the same masterpiece if one of the brush strokes were missing?

This world has a way of making the ones who are different, seem wrong and so they drift through life feeling unfit, inferior and misunderstood because they feel different. If you are one of those, then you know how it feel to be surrounded by those whose treasures are most apparent to the eye, and yet the things you treasure are invisible to them.

Late into the night I often paint with an unusual and different pallet; that of imagination and my emotions guide each stroke, and in the world are a lot of different people, with different ideas and a sacred way of looking at nature and in that different world, no one will hang their head down but exult in their being different.

    Being

When you become peace, you won’t have to talk about peace any longer. You will not just be hoping for peace because the moment you talk or think about a thing, you are looking at a separate thing; as a goal you want to move towards. Whereas to be something means it has moved out of the future and right into the present moment and instead of having or keeping the peace, you are peace. All prejudices and divisions which hold people in separation from each other also go from the future and move into the now and now is where you are. Everything that has to do with peace will be embodied in you.

Every belief has it’s own frequency.

If you say you want equity and justice, you must be fair with all individuals, not showing favoritism. That is how one matches the frequency of justice, by merging with justice, not seeing it as something nice to think about.

If you want to have a world of love you must be love because as soon as you speak or think in terms of wanting, this saying you are not having. How much do you want a world of love? So deeply that you allow all judgments against others to pass into the past?

Do you see how love is connected to justice which is connected to peace?

In the 70’s hit song by Cat Stevens called Peace Train, the lyrics speak about peace and what he believes will come. Not only this song but many more have been based on some unspecified time in the future and always anticipated as if humanity will all at once stop all war and put down their weapons. Like two kids on the playground with fists raised, both sides say, I will if he will, and because of this standoff peace remains just a thought.

When you are, in the ever present now, the embodiment of love and peace and justice, so that those things are not outside of you for you to look at or observe, but inside of you, then you will exist in the frequency of those things and all your thoughts, dealings with other individuals and attitudes will reflect what you are.

I am justice. I am peace. I am love. I AM.

    What You Are

We would have you understand that the flame you are burns eternally and shall never go out no matter how bright you allow yourself to become. We would have you understand that you exist now and always shall and you always have because now is the Only time and the Only place and the Only existence there is and always has been and ever shall be.

You are eternal. You are infinite. You are spirit. You are body. You are heart. You are a soul. You are mind. You are an idea. You are an expression. You are a thought. You are a dream of the Infinite Creation but that is reality and all reality is couched within your dream. You contain it all. You are the whole expression in your own individualized way.

You are the matrix. The matrix is you. You are everything. Everything comes from you. Everything gives birth to you as you reinforce the existence of everything and everyone. Not one of you, not one of you, in that sense can be removed from the matrix without the collapse of the entire structure. You are integral in that way. You are essential in that way, and we would have you understand that because you are interconnected in that way, because everything you do has impact within the entirety of creation, that you deserve to exist in this way, and you deserve to be the fullest individual that you can imagine yourself to be.

That you deserve to manifest all the things you can conceive of. That you deserve the existence you have been given or it would not have been granted to you. That you deserve all the love you can imagine because love is what you are made out of. That you deserve all the light you can create in your life because light is what you are made out of.

All That Is, the Infinite Creation, the fabric of existence, choose you. Choose that you should exist. Consciously choose you. You are in that way therefore, blessed and we would have you understand that. Simply because of the fact that you exist, you are blessed. You are created out of divine material; out of divine light. You are the Infinite Creator. Your existence was a conscious decision, a conscious thing, a conscious choice. Act in like manner. Be of like mind. Respect yourself, love yourselves unconditionally, for out of unconditional love were you created and out of unconditional love will you create anything you desire.

Begin to feel the wave of your connection. Begin to feel the energy of your interlinking with all thought forms, all consciousness, all civilizations, all eyes, all ideas, all minds, all souls, all hearts, all spirit is one, and you are one within that sea; within the pool. Know that you are the fabric and the essence of the Galactic energy. Know that we are sustained. Know that we are supported by your endeavor, by your existence. Know that we love you because we know that you have given birth to us. We give birth back to you. We remind you in this giving of birth that you can be anything you desire to be. That is our gift to your birth. To be born as anyone, anytime, anywhere, anyhow you so desire. That is our gift to remind you. Anything that you choose to be sustains our existence, sustains the fabric of the galactic connection.

You are the rotating stars. Now all space collapses into one. Any moment you so desire, you can be within the total here and now. You can live your life that way.

All recognitions are secondary to your recognition to connections to yourself. Recognitions of the connections of yourself to the Infinite. Of yourself as the Infinite, for you are the Infinite, even as we are the Infinite in our own way, you are the Infinite in your own way and we treasure you and cherish it. Wave after wave of love always is pulsing. Feel the spinning of the galaxy spinning in your heart and in your mind and in your soul. It is a deep and rumbling sound. A deep and thorough sound, a deep and stirring sound. Allow it to bubble forth, allow it to bring forth the understanding of your self honesty, your self clarity, your insight and inspiration.

For you are all of these as well. We remind you of these things that you do not need to be reminded of, simply because that is the way you have chosen. But now put them into action, put them into life. Be more than just the word. Be the thing, be the idea, be the deed. Clear and honest as a deed. Feel in the beating of your heart that it keeps pace with the rhythm and the pulse of the spinning of all the galaxies; of the fabric of existence itself, of the universal heart of creation. As you all beat within that heart and not a one of you is outside the heart of All That Is. You are the blood and the life force of God itself. It is your force and your life as well. You are it and it is you. Out of your dreams be born. Out of your heart be alive. Out of your soul be light for you are nothing else.

    Words from Sirius

    <

“You are humming with energy as you read these words, your energy is merging with all the energy around you.....If you really want to know that the body looks like, look up at the evening sky and see the cells of cosmic energy scattered in the infinite vacuum of the dark night sky.

If you really want to know what the body sounds like, listen to the sounds of the wind and the waves for the energy they carry. If you really want to know that the body's energy feels like, be aware of the gentle breeze caressing your cheek, and sense the information carried in the molecules breathed in and out of every person and thing that has ever lived.

If you want to get a glimpse of how your whole body/heart/brain, Mind system sounds when it works collectively sounds when it works together, listen to a symphony......Just as the sun provides the gravity to temporarily hold the planets in group around it, the heart is the center of our solar system, huddling our cells together for a brief cosmic moment, until we merge again with quantum heaven: the non local infinite energy field that is everything, always.

    The Happy God

You are the creation of a happy God, no matter what other qualities have been attributed to God in the human mind. All That Is, is the Source of all happiness, and the outpouring and upwelling of that beneficent benevolent Being is only happiness. However happiness is only a word which stands for an enormous range; an infinite spectrum of life affirming, positive decriptions.

Because within happiness also can exist the feeling of exuberance and excited anticipation. If we see ourselves as the reflection of a happy Source Being, then we will see ourselves in our natural happy state. Happiness could mean to you, contented, serene, tranquil, and since it means different things to different human beings, can also mean both gleeful as well as satisfied and content, to excited to enthusiastic. That is why some use the term bliss and some say excitement and some say joy.

Free will is the permission the happy God gives to every reflection of Itself to not be happy, but since unhappiness is not your natural condition each one yearns to be happy just as water wills to find it's natural level.
I am not speaking of being happy because of any specific reason, because that is an outer cause and not connected to who your core self. Allowing yourself to be happy is loving yourself and allowing yourself to be happy no matter what circumstance you find yourself in.

When you hold up a mirror to reflect All That Is, and you do not get back the reflection of a happy God; the smiling Buddha, or the loving Jesus, then that is because along life's path you have adopted someone's else's definitions of the One Infinite Creator.

As an illustration of happiness you might imagine yourself hanging out in space and in this place you have no cars, no possessions, no jewelry, no money, no job, no house, and none of the things people give as their reasons to be happy. Did your happiness cease when all those things went away? Then you know the difference between being happy because that is your state of being and what masquerades as happiness, connected to things outside yourself. One is outer and one is inner. There is nothing wrong with having things, if you do not hang your happiness on them.

Like many small circles within one large circle, we all have our own universe with the greater All That Is. Many small universe's within One all encompassing universe. Just like a hologram, you are both the small circle and at the same time the whole circle. Because if you divide a holographic image into many pieces, all the pieces contain the entire image of the original. So in the true sense, your core being cannot be anything but happiness.

You are perfectly free to exist in the state of unhappiness but if you would prefer to, after all it is your universe, but if you are tired of seeing the same channel on your version of reality you can improve your outlook by remembering you are a basically happy being just as you were when you first arrived on earth, and that radiant happy child is still there and still aligned with the happy God.

    A Secret Within The Secret?

Imagine all the people who heard about “The Secret” and thought if they could just think a certain way they could attract all the things they believed would make them happy.

And, when the abundance did not materialize the discouragement must have been monumental.

Happiness is a state of being. A state of being of All That Is, a state of being of the higher self and your core natural state. Looking for abundance has nothing to do with it but it's curious that that happy state brings all things others are seeking without you even trying. So this must be the real secret, that when you set out for material goods for a reason to be happy you cannot under any circumstances already be aligned with your core vibration and only this purity of vibration of being happy purely because of who and what you are, is devoid of any and all self seeking.

Happiness as a state of being is worthy of focusing upon in a of itself for only that carries you through all other circumstances. Anticipation and excitement are the creative force. Any musician or artist will tell you that. Anyone who gives things their whole heart and does not even think of space, time or money that person lets their excitement lead them. Just writing about it makes my mind flow to all the human accomplishments that make humans truly unique and thrills come in many forms. It is new discovery and that feeling that if you do not express it you will burst. Perhaps that is what mountain climbers feel standing on the summit. But you can also feel it in rising above a handicap. That feeling of 'I did it!', whatever 'it' is.

What will happen when you vibrationally reach that place which makes you feel excitement you will see your reflection in your universal mirror begin to reflect back to you individuals and circumstances also reflecting this excitement. Everything has to line up and it can't help but do that since you are the creator of your own exciting creative universe and all the mirrors are returning your own reflection.

    New Footprints On The Sand

Sing and dance and bless the earth. Take off your shoes and feel the soles of your feet scuff the dirt. This is the language the earth understands. No one can think other than thoughts of jubilation when in motion. Whirl and twirl under a sunset sky like the atoms in your body, like the earth moves, like the solar system moves, like all things move.

Make whatever sounds feels right. Do this just like the people of the before time, and the earth will drink in your gratitude. She misses the tribes and groups and clans who used to dance on her surface. Where are the ones who used to offer to her the fruits of the harvest and treasure her and take care of her? Where have those gone, to whom she would show her mysteries to and all the healing herbs of her forests and secret places?

They should be heard on the winds, singing in the canyons and their voices should resound and echo from plain to forest to rivers. They should be here but they have evaporated like the dew on the amaranth. But new dancers are arising and making their own sacred patterns over the footprints of long ago, and their songs are beginning to rise between the mountains.

She has patiently waited for these new dancers and singers and imagine her joy to again feel the throbbing of human feet and the energy of love from their hearts traveling down to the core, the heart of the earth. Others may stop and ask why are you dancing and you may say, why aren’t you?

Thoughts on Parallel Versions of Earth

Jesus spoke of many mansions because if he has spoken two thousand years ago of frequencies he would have lost his audience.
The Ra Group told us more about these mansions but they called them by their correct name, densities in 1981.

Now an entity calling himself Bashar has added to our knowledge of the mechanics of physics behind this.
Addressing the subject of why so much violence on earth right now, Bashar says that nothing is to remain hidden so that all experience can be seen to give humans a clear choice.
Jesus told us the identical thing in the Bible. Nothing hidden would not become known.
The Hopi Indians speak of humanity standing all before a giant mirror.

If this level of existence is called choice, then everything has to become transparent and indeed, all over the planet we are all seeing that the Emperor has no clothes. We are running out of time for what Ra calls the cycle of Choice.

The Ra Group told us this:

Within your great octave of experience which we share with you, there are seven octaves or densities. Within each density there are seven sub-densities. Within each sub-density, there are seven sub-sub-densities. Within each sub-sub-density, seven sub-sub-sub-densities and so on infinitely.

Could these many mansions then be the infinite number of parallel versions of earth that already exist?

    Bashar goes on to say:
It's not because the way you change will change those around you. It is BECAUSE......there are already existing, an infinite number of parallel earths, each of a different vibration representative of a different reality.
The vibration you change to will determine which earth you experience that already contains the people that are already germane to that vibration.....

BECAUSE......there are already existing, an infinite number of parallel earths, each of a different vibration representative of a different reality.
The vibration you change to will determine which earth you experience that already contains the people that are already germane to that vibration. The people around you may not seem to change but that is a problem of continuity. But eventually you will no longer interact with them, no longer experience them, you will wonder where they went.

That's what it is and that's why it's said, if you want to change anything in your world all you actually have to do is change yourself. You will take yourself to a world where that change can be reflected to you because that change already exists naturally in that world. And thus then the idea of giving positive meaning to your experience will allow you to extract a positive effect and a positive experience for yourself. Remember we said, the only thing that's real is experience. That's it. Everything else in that sense is simply a symbol; a reflection of experience. The only thing that's real is experience. Physical reality is not real empirically unto itself. There is no 'out there'. There is no 'out there'. It's all here. It's all now.

Thus, we actually move ourselves to a version of earth that already exists. The universe is harmonic and like a guitar string plucked each note has an echo that travels infinitely so that the general density or frequency might be yellow but which version of yellow do you choose?

Perhaps then if Bashar is saying that 2012 represents the end of the cycle of limitation and Ra calls it the end of the choice like a hand flicking on a light switch everyone will stop agreeing on consensus reality and move to the version of reality they choose. That is why it is important to choose now. So we end up really moving ourselves. No one moves us and that is why we cannot move someone else.

In the end everyone gets what they need, want and ask for. There is also no way to judge another person for choosing where they exist by their own frequency of thought.

The earth itself has been rapidly shifting since the early part of this decade and continue to shift upward even in the midst of the outworking of all the negative choices because it has been balanced by those who have chosen not to remain in the lower frequencies. Is 2012 the year the agreement to share this reality over? This is my question and has not as of yet been answered but no doubt it will be. The shifting upward so far as a collective has seen some very dire events avoided in the present time line.

We continue to shift ourselves. With each new awareness we move upward toward that pure clear brilliant green density but within green there are many many greens and you can't give a reason why just one out of the multiple shades just feels right to you, that is how you follow one's passion because that is where the heart is.

    Conversation With The Light

    Know this O Seeker
That in asking, be prepared to have the answers, for no one who stands outside and knocks and knocks will be turned away, but sometimes you are tested and must knock again and again to see if you are sincere. Stay there and do not leave for if you have found your way to the door it means you have asked the right questions.

And the answers will strip you of what you think you are for you are not that, and show you what you are. Because when the door opened I shielded my eyes that light was so great and it shone into my dark places where I did not want to look and a great voice said to me “You wanted to know. This is what you are!”

And I wept and sought to hide myself but felt that my life hung on that moment when the door was behind me I had only to make a dash, close it and I would be back before knowing began. But there I stayed and the voice said “Get up on your feet where you belong for you I love.” And again I wept but standing this time, but bowing my head the whole time. I knew the light wanted me to look up but still I felt so unworthy.

But I only wanted to know how your worlds work and did not ask what I was?
    But the voice said,
“You cannot know how my worlds function, without knowing yourself, for you are part of My worlds.
    Know Thyself!
I am ONE, and everything if of Me, you cannot know only one small part of me, without knowing the whole of Me, as far as you can know in human form.”

So then I listened still with head bowed not to look into that great light as I felt so unworthy. And I was shown all my life going by in pictures and I did not want to look, but I looked . I saw all my mistakes, and my petty manipulations and my whining and my flaws and petulance, and the light would not stop. It showed me when I had been cruel and selfish and I winced and it was very painful and still it went on and I saw the grudges I had kept towards others and taken out on myself. I saw my addictions. I saw the resentments I held against others who had been cruel to me.
And so I said to the light, now you see why I hid and why I bow my head. But I did not want to question the light when it showed me what I was.
    So the light said:

“Listen to Me, not to the voices behind you. See with understanding that your view of yourself, began a long time ago when you were told you were unworthy and of no value. You must now do a great hard thing. You must forgive those who told you such lies out of ignorance of what they themselves were and what you are, and you must do the hardest thing you have ever done. You must forgive yourself and embrace yourself and lift up your head!”

And so I obeyed the voice, and rolled back the scenes of my life, replaying them on a giant screen. And, I forgave the ignorance of both the ones inflicting the wounds, and the harder part, forgiving myself for accepting and molding myself in the image of what I was thought to be by others. Something then lifted up inside of me like a great heavy weight and I sighed deeply and the floodgates of forgiveness poured forth and I felt as if something dark which have covered me like a cloak was gone.
I wept this time for joy and for the love, which I felt for the first time for myself. I saw what the voice had said was true, and instead of hiding my eyes I opened them and raised my arms to embrace the light.

Be prepared O Seeker, to make this journey back through your time, for the light will take you there. You will see what you really are. You will see yourself in light without the garment of flesh. You will see what those who have not taken this journey of forgiveness cannot see.

So I bathed in forgiveness like a river and I was perfect and all the scars of my own making were slowly healing with every revelation. And I laughed at the irony of life and the pains I caused myself. I was not ashamed to stand in the light for I was loved and I loved the voice and the light.

And so I received more answers than I had questions, and I felt at One with the voice. I wanted to merge with that truth and that perfect love, for the barrier was gone and then I realized the voice was not behind the door but was coming from within each of my cells. The light had been in me all along but cloaked by guilt and self- condemnation. And every sun rose and every star gleamed and I could feel every heart beating in rthymn with mine.
Just then all the pain float to the top of my soul and I saw it and with the adeptness of an alchemist I transmuted it into love and saw its value.

    One more thing Seeker.

If the Seeker knew he had water all along, he would drink it, but not knowing this, he thirsts in the desert of this world and dreams of water. Those not thirsty will not search for the Source. For only on worlds like earth will one find Seekers who are thirsty and because they are thirsty they will find the waters of life.

    Hope Rides With You

Do not blame the politicians or controllers or the police or law makers. Do not blame the corporations or the laws or the lawyers or all the men in dark suits. Do not blame your mother and father or school or family. Your future is your own. Blink, blink, the second is gone and the past is put away where it belongs. Your future only follows the pattern of the past if you allow it to. Grab your future like the mane of a wild horse and ride it and guide it yourself and never look over your shoulder. Don’t give heed to the voices that warn you to get down off that horse, just keep on riding it with the wind in your hair and the sun on your face. Your future belongs to you if you have the courage to just ride, regardless of what anyone on the sidelines yells at you.

Oh, they will yell and sneer and warn and scowl at you while they stand with their own feet nailed to the ground holding the hammer and nails in their own hands, but you will turn your head and smile and continue on your way. Deep in their hearts they want to ride too and that is why they shake their fingers at you. They have allowed hope to grow cold. For there is God’s own fire in your breast and the horse makes sparks as his feet graze the ground.

A new vision has come into your mind which they cannot see because they are too busy blaming everything and everyone for their own limitation. The game grows tiresome and you feel the inner stirring of new adventures and new experiences so up you go and away you fly into the caress of new morning.
