I go by the name

Nam the Man

I am a professional football freestyler

My Work brings me around the world performing, coaching, featuring in tvc and dvds as well as appearances at festivals and projects football (soccer) related.

I found my way here through a contact's contact....a friend' friend indirectly.

I have recurring experiences of hearing noise and static....just like that on the radio when you tune it. This happens when I am just about to fall into a sleep.

Sometimes I am conscience in my dreams fully as well as experiencing being half awake and immobilised completely.

This spooks me out .... is this just some frm of hypnosis or mental problems?

I have not had the exact experience as you, but chances are there are others who have.

I am not sure about what is "normal", any longer.

When I was an undergraduate, a professor uttered some words that set a huge paradigm shift in motion for me: sometimes what we call "abnormal" is not abnormal at all. Rather, it is a normal response to an abnormal situation.

The crackerling noise could be the the stretching of the jaw when you relax which open the inner ear. This also allows a better connection through the pineal gland. So the tuning of the radio factor could be the passing from one dimension into the space between before we get to anpther dimension which we experience as a dream.

Just my thoughts of the abnormalities of life here on planet earth. I suppose normal can mean alot of different things to many people. Eating a sunday roast on sunday could be the norm for someone from the UK as is the sabath on friday for a jewish person. You take that person out of their defined reality that is their rhythm of their life and loads could seem abnormal. So therefore, may be just the paradim that you are changing seem estranged to you at the moment and normal in the future.

Best of luck with that one though, and don't worry about getting lost until you have found yourself.

It has gotten so that I hear that noise/high pitch static every waking moment now. I think it is the new cosmic gamma ray energies coming to earth and some are more tuned into this then others, yet many others are now reporting hearing it too. It's normal for us (those that hear it) so I don't worry about it anymore.

Is this Noise / Humming / >INSERT SENSATION< in One Ear - Both - Or not even in the Audible range but more of a Vibration - Setting up a Harmonic being sensed or felt in Your Head so to speak ?

I remember exactly the type of sounds i hear before going into dream state.

I welcome the sounds that i hear, just trying to undertand how can i control it or use it....

It really feels exciting for me when i experience this.

Welcome, Nam the Man. There are documented reports of people picking up radio signals from the metal in their dental fillings. Could be that. It doesn't however, explain how some of us are reporting strange recurring sounds and high pitched tones. Good luck, and no, it's not a mental problem...we just need to analyze what signals you are hearing, and why.
